I have re-constructed different jobs for you guys to try out for:

Jobs
~~~
Writer (X) - Yes, we need a whole bunch of writers, everybody won't be writing now. We need 110% from these guys. You will be writing the Newspaper, of course. You will be assigned different jobs of the different parts of the newspaper depending on how good your application is. yes, the best application will get the hardest job, so be prepared.

Editors (CLOSED) - Requirements:
1) good with grammar/spelling
2) Know what a long sentence is as opposed to a run-on sentence (this ties in with grammar, yes Jess, grammAr)
3) Must be 15+ years old to be an editor. Sorry, guys, but i just don't think you have enough knowledge of the English language before the 8th-9th grade... If you can prove to me that you can edit ahead of your time, then you can get the job.

SOTM (CLOSED) - Yes, Sig of the Month. We need somebody who knows what a good signature/avatar looks like to go around and select the best one out of the active members. the selected sig will be featured in the Newspaper.

Comics (6) - We WILL have an entertainment section in the newspaper. we need soembody who can create FUNNY comic strips. they must be funny, or you will be kicked. we're taking this SERIOUSLY, people. Also: the drawings must be Quality Stick Figures+!

Interviewers (CLOSED) - Interviews are needed for each paper. Thus in this job, each person must interview somebody on what subject I ask for. You MUST know how to come up with complex questions that aren't run-on.

Fanfic Writer (2) - We need people who can write chapters of Fanfics each month for the Newspaper. You will NOT participate as a writer, but you will have to write long chapters of each fanfic. they MUST be at least 200+ words long for each chapter.

Advice Column (CLOSED) - You will be answering to the problems that people send in (although i hope that they ask the counulers beforehand ) you will need to know how to feel sympathy for people, and know mostly how to get in and out of many situations.

How To Try Out

Writers - PM me a story/review about soemthing of your choice. Make sure that this is YOUR BEST WORK. Has to be 100+ words long. (I will be counting)

Editors - PM me that you want to be an editor. You will be PMed back a story/review that has grammatical mistakes in it. Your job is to find all of these mistakes, and mark them, don't correct them, just mark them with... maybe different symbols or something (^,$,@,*,%) and below that, put why it's a mistake.

SOTM - PM me that you want to be a SOTM. You will be PMed back several sigs/avis that you must grade on a scale from 1-10. you have to pick around the right number. We will have several people rate these signatures before hand to find out a range of numbers.

Comics - PM me a comic strip that you created. MUST BE FUNNY.

Interviewers - Pm me a series of complex questions that YOU YOURSELF came up with. There must be at least three 2-part questions.

Fanfic Writer - PM me the first chapter of a fanfic/story that you made. All grammatical rules apply. And it MUST be 200+ words long. The selected canidate's Fanfics/stories will be in the newspaper (these are the ones that you PM me)

Advice Column - PM me that you want to be on the Advice Column, and you will be PMed a series of advice questions that you have to answer. You will be graded on how well you handled each situation and how in depth you go with your answer.
