So yeah, as it says, Narutos parents was just revealed in the manga. I figured a lot of people is gonna want to to talk about this, so I'll be the first one to make a thread about it :>

Narutos parents turned out to be a woman named Uzumaki Kushina from the former Whirlpool country, and his father, Yondaime! Whos name is Namikaze Minato! Must say I doubted that he was, but it turned out to be him after all!

They said his personality was very much like his mothers, i'm looking forward to see if she's still alive^^

isn't naruto's father the fourth Hokage? Didn't his dad just fake his death and join the Atkatsuki and hope to one day kill his son? speaking of the Atkatsuki, is it pronounced Akatski or Akasuki?

In japanese It's "Akats-ki" (Its a u sound in there though) something like that, and in English "Akatsooki" or something like that:P
Yeah Ace ^^ But I never state theories as if they were facts, therefor you'll never see me aprove of any theory completely xD
Btw, It hasn't been said a 100% that Minato is his father.
You can look at the pages yourself, even though its still a possibility that "Him" Is not Minato, it's very unlikely if you ask me. I'm convinced now.

No Problem :P Believe me, i'm not the guy to post stuff like this as a fact unless it's really really really sure. Even with that, I'm not 100% sure that Minato is Narutos father, as all we see is "him"

So if i'd bring on a guess, I think that Kishimoto has noticed how many people thinks Minato is the father, therefore he makes it look like he is until he suddenly reveals something else. Would be typiccal :P

Well... I dont actually read the manga... the only thing I can think of is one of the filler episodes.. where this guy is kidden on he is going to bomb Konoha. But as it turns out he meets Naruto and Naruto convinces him not to but then the old guy dies... but you see a picture of his grandson who is the spitting image of Naruto.

I bet if they should a episode with clips of Yondaime (Namikaze Minato) and Uzumaki Kushina feeding, holding, and rising Naruto, you still wouldn't belive that he is his father..lol

Oh for crying out loud stop misreading me... I said that it hasn't been 100% confirmed that Minato is Narutos father, but at this point I AM CONVINCED THAT HE IS! And, the 100% thing, IT'S A FACT. It has NOT been said "Minato is narutos father", only Jirayia mentioning someone he calls "him", while talking about Minato.
I BELIEVE he is narutos father, but it is in no way for sure.

It might be a filler but if the producers get stuck they could refer back to it build a new storyline from it... you never know. But in saying that Yodaime would be better of Naruto's father.

Yeah but thats the thing see, The producers of the anime have no rights what so ever to make official major changes to the main story or characters :P
If they make one, it really won't count!

I think we all kinda knew what naruto dad was in like the FIRST episode. -.- If not then your such a slow learner. Naruto mom we wouldn't know what happen to her. She probably died when she born naruto. So pretty much yeah. Could careless about naruto parents, Actually all i want to know is what happen to naruto mom?! XD

As far as I know, "Akatsuki Uzumaki" is nothing but a fanmade thingy.

One problem. The fourth's last name would be Uzamaki, not whatever it was.

I always wondered who they were. I at least now know there names. Sorry never read the manga.
