Maverick Uprising

(For all who wonder, this is based off of Megaman X, Megaman Zero, and Megaman ZX)

Long ago, two legendary Reploids by the name of X and Zero defeated the all mighty force, Sigma, quelling the Maverick Virus that caused many Reploids to go insane and attack people. After the defeat, Sigma was no more, and the reploids cheered. Soon though, another threat loomed above them. A man by the name of Dr. Weil used the power that X and Zero had used to finish one war, and started another war.

The two Legends fought with all their might, the War finally ending with X sacrificing himself. Zero, who was re-infected with the Maverick Virus (which technically was his to begin with [for more info, look on Wikipedia]) sealed himself away to purge himself.

Zero, after 400 years, re-awakened with no memories. After helping a resistance group, he slowly regained his memories, and fought to protect the world he once knew. Somehow, the nefarious Dr. Weil had survived all these years, apparently transforming himself into a Reploid. Zero fought nobly, and sacrificed himself to save Earth once again from a looming threat.

This is nearly 10,000 years later.

The world has been overrun by a new-type Maverick Virus. Due to this, humans and Reploids alike have joined forces to create a Maverick Hunter Team. This is the story of how they began, and how they will fight…

"Biomerge, Activate!" A young man cried out, and a dark armor surrounded him. Surrounded by the basic Galleons, this would be a peice of cake. He felt the busters on his arm acticate, already charging energy into them. He smiled, and let loose several barrages of blasts, destroying the Mavericks without a problem. He guy smiled, and walked over to a chest behind them.
"I'll take this, thankyou." He grabbed something out of the chest, turned, and ran out of the room. WHen he got out, he smelled the air.
"Nothing like the Outlands. Maybe I can pawn this crystal for a good sum of money..." The looter walked over to his bike, and kick-started it. He revved the engine a few times, and took off into the desert Outlands, heading towards the city.

A small black portal opened up in a dark ally in the city and a person covered in blue armor came out of the portal. He slamed to the ground and slowly got up. The person in the blue armor was about the age of 14 and his name was Hub Hikari.
"Where am I?" Hub asked as he walked out of the ally and saw the city he was in.

Xiek ran by him, shoving him aside. "Outta my way kid!" He stopped, looking back. Hm? I'm getting a strange feeling about this one... He turned towards the kid he just knocked over. "Hey..um...sorry about that." It's too weird, it feels like a...a.. "Maverick...," He whispered.

"Um...It's ok" Hub said as he stood up and brushed himself off. "Can you tell me what this place is?" Hub asked. He wondered if it was the same place as in his domension, but it looked different then his.

He doesn't act Maverick... "These are the Outlands, how can you not know?" Xiek eyed the kid. "Of course...you don't look very Outland-ish. You look like you're from the upper Sky Sanctum, where the Maverick Hunters usually live, along with the richer humans."

The Level-B Maverick Hunter codemaed Sinper sat calmly in his bed of his room, normaly most Reploids would use a Recharge room to recover their energy, but in a strange twist of fate, or an example of how powerful the AIs of these inteligent robots were, the rooms asigned to the reploids in the headquarters of the Maverick Hunters all counted with a bed to hold their warrirors in.


The black clad form of the Hunter, Ray, stared at the window as he watched the skylight enter his domains, as rest did not welcome him.

THe life as a hunter was stressful at best as of recently the outbreaks of the Mavericks, or Irregulars as they are refered by others, had been increasing in nomber creating the fear in many of another great Maverick War as in the ancient times.

Ray lowered his body into the bed, as he once again tried to gain his much desired rest, the breaks between hunts were few and the leisure time must be utilized at its best.

At the moment the man closed his eyes, as he finally fought through his concious to gain his sleep, but then the loud screech of the alarm broke through, the familiar words alerting the robot, "WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Maverick Ativity detected in Sector A-4 of the City! Reapeat-"

Ray did not stay to hear the rest of the message, as in a flash he summoned his azure armor and his reliable rifle. His black hair was covered by his worn helmet with an strange scar on the left, a memory of his past.With determination shining in his eyes. the hunter made way, seeking his new prey...

He doesn't act Maverick... "These are the Outlands, how can you not know?" Xiek eyed the kid. "Of course...you don't look very Outland-ish. You look like you're from the upper Sky Sanctum, where the Maverick Hunters usually live, along with the richer humans."

"I'm kind of new here. I just got here, and I have no idea where I am and where everything is." Hub said as he put his and on his helmet and he had an embarest smile.

Something dinged in Xiek's pocket. He spun around, and took off before the kid could react any further. As he ran through the streets, he called out, "Biomerge, activate!" The familliar black armor formed around him, and he felt the thrusters in his feet kick in, making his speed triple that of his human form. Gotta hurry!

"I wonder where he's going. I'll try to follow him." Hub thought as he ran in the direction Xiek ran through. "Man, he's fast." Hub thought as he ran.

Xiek skid to a halt in front of a large group of, what looked like, Megaman X copies.
"What the? Never seen these Mavericks before." Xeik held up his left arm, forming the buster in his hand. "Alright! Fire!" A medium sized blast catapulted forward, but the X-copy knocked it out of the way. From behind, a dark purple glow appeared, taking the form of a blond haired, red colored rploid holding a beam saber. The entity launched forward into Xiek, and suddenly disappeared withing him. Xiek cried out in pain, and a dark aura formed around him. He slowly rose into the air, and his eyes flashed the traditional Maverick Red. He drew his personal beam saber, and with a single slash, eliminated the X-Clones. Then, his body went limp and he fell to the ground, knocked unconsious.

Hub soon arrived and saw Xiek unconsious on the ground. "I wonder what happened here." Hub thought as he ran over. Hub leaned down and checked Xiek's pulse, which was normal. "I better get someone to help." Hub said.

Ray jumped quickly as his hover bike reached the selected area in the vast Outlands. The great wasteland surrounded the northern part of the Sky Sanctum. vast, dry and unmonitored; the lands filled with many looters and scavengers were perfect for any Maverick to hide.

But what Ray found out was not what he expected, the bodies of several blue reploids were scattered across the sands of the field, as they were quickly dismanteled by whoever had fought against them.

The remains reminded of the primary reploid known as X, but their designs appeared to be more similar to the Phanteons (sp) units used by the fallen utopia of Neo Arcadia, true, the few most remaining robots that were left, were stored in high security vaults in several labs scattered across the globe, for the study and preservation of history.

But retunring to the mission, the designated mavericks were labeled to be the ones he found, so that left one option, another reploid must have found them....

Most reploids did not bothered to hunt the irregulars leaving the task on the designated Maverick Hunters or mercernaries and others of the such.

Ray took parts of the remains of the Reploid, loading them on his bike, as he tunred, he saw some footprints on the sand, along with several other bots.

Ray followed, hoping to find the one who slayed his targets.

"Rise and shine!" Hub shouted as he claped his hands to try to wake up Xiek, but it didn't work. "I have to get help. But I can't just leave him here." Hub thought as he looked around. He put his hands on his chin and he began to think.

[Azure]

Ray moved on his bike, as he crossed the area where the battle took place, the battle had ranged for several meters as there were several maverick Xs on the sands of the Outlands.

Ray continued on the hover bike, in the distance he could see what could be, two humanoid figures, one was resting on the sand of the desert, and the other was resting besides, tending over the first fallen.

But before he could reach them, or even help them he felt an another presence near them, his helmet's visor shines with the familiar WARNING as another being tackled him.

Ray fell from his bike, as moved quickly releasing his own R-Glaive to throw the beast of him. He turned to inspect the offender.

The Maverick robot resembled some sort of mole as he had two great drills for each of his hands, the body had purple armor which shined in the free sun as the bestial reploid, most likely an enemy, stared at him.

Ray took his plasma rifle on his left and, holding his lance on the other, as he prepared to fend off this new foe.

Hub looked up to see two fiqures standing in the distance. He wasn't sure if the two fiqures were about to fight. He knew by the way that the person with the purple armor had to be an enemy.
"He may need some help." Hub thought as he ran over into the distance. He ran next to Ray and pionted his Megabuster at the new foe.
"Need some help?" Hub asked.

[Azure]

Ray turned to Blue Armored warrior, "Thanks, but this is a maverick... are you sure you can handle this?"

Ray moved, not waiting for a response, as he raised his rifle, firring several blasts of pure purple plasma. The projectiles rebounded off the Metallic drills of the purple enemy, at that did not matter, Ray moved as as his blue armor shifted to a bright red, activating the only weapon he had downloaded from a fallen foe.

"Blaze C-Rifle" The Rifle changed, becoming more bulkier as it received the upgrades from the DNA of another robot, the rifle then released a rapid chain of blasts, all striking the Maverick and piercing his armor.

Ray back flipped, preferring to keep distance, as the drill irregular bot rushed towards him and the other guy in blue, his weapons making a grinding sound as he approached.

"He peirced his armor. That's a weak spot." Hub thought as he stood his ground and waited for the purple enemy to come closer. When the purple enemy was close enough an tried to attack Hub, Hub dodged by dunking and then he aimed his Megabuster at the cracked armor and shoot five rounds at the armor and it totally shattered the armor, in addition it caused great damage to the enemy.

"He peirced his armor. That's a weak spot." Hub thought as he stood his ground and waited for the purple enemy to come closer. When the purple enemy was close enough an tried to attack Hub, Hub dodged by dunking and then he aimed his Megabuster at the cracked armor and shoot five rounds at the armor and it totally shattered the armor, in addition it caused great damage to the enemy.
"Great Job!" Ray moved as he redrew his R-Glaive now turned into the F-Lance, his weapon now had gained an Fire attribute but it also gained an far more useful skill, the power to create small fire storms.

"F-Twist!" The small twister was created as the fire armored Ray twisted his lance over him, the hurricane caught the opposing monster in a vortex of super-effective fire. The drill monster tried to move but the heat paralyzed him.

"Now, Finish him!"

BIC: Hub's Megabuster arm started to transform into a different weapon. The new weapon looked like a miniture canon. Hub aimed it at the paralyzed enemy.
"Buster Canon!" Hub shouted as he fired the canon and a huge energy blast came out of the Hub's Canon buster and eliminated the purple enemy.
"He's gone." Hub said with a smile on his face.

Ray glanzed at the defeated drill monster, as he stood over itm, his equipment absorbing his DNA (smilar to how X and Zero do it) and his weapons.

He took a piece of the armor of the maverick to analyze it and then turned to the buster using warrior, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Hub answered. He wondered why the drill being attacked. Hub really didn't know that much about Mavericks. In his demonsion he never saw to many Mavericks.
"How 'bout you? Are you ok?" Hub asked.

"Yeah I fine anyway, but could you tell me your name anyway? I am Ray, Class-B Maverick Hunter!" The fire armor tunred into its standard midnight blue, as Ray's power ups faded, he touched a button in his hlemet, calling forth his trusty hover bike, and storing away the maverick sample.

Xiek sighed as the medical reploid poked him several times with a needle. "God...I hate needles.." He twitched when he felt a stange, cold fluid enter his bloodstream. The moniter across from him beeped, and the reploid looked at it.

"You seem to be fine."
Xiek smiled, "Good. I'm going to go find the application form to join then." He got up and left before the medical specialist could do anything else.

Hub looked around the room, wondering what he would have to do to pass the test. "I wonder what will happen. But whatever happens I think I can handle it." Hub thought as he scaned the room.

Ray opened the Transerver posrtal and the trio left to the metalic jungle of Metal City....

His voice seemed to echo in the air, "Maverick..." Xiek's eyes rcverted back to normal as he threw the beast back.
"Dual Overcharge!" He felt both of the busters in his hand overheat, and fire off enourmous balls of energy at the beast, incenerating it. Xiek spun around, trying to fire again, but his busters still hadn't cooled off from the previous attack, and he was slammed into a wall by another, larger, Maverick.

Hub jumped onto the back of the large Maverick that slamed Xiek to a wall.
"I don't think so!" Hub shouted as he took out his Blue Saber and staped the Maverick in the back. Hub jumped off the Maverick by its shoulders and he was in the air for a brief momment. He spun around and shoot five rounds at the Maverick with his Megabuster.

Xiek growled, and reached for his blade again. The pain shot through his mind, but he ingored it, and slashed through the Maverick that had him pinned down. His voice seemed to be different, almost darker as he spoke, "Stupid trash, these newer Reploids are nothing like the Original Designs..."

Ray watched how both rookies continued, sure he was somewhat worried about Xiek, who was behaving irregularly, but that did not mattered at the moment.

His plasma shots hailed at the field, as projectiles rendered the X-drones into piles of trash.

Both Hub and Kiek reached the end of the Area as in the visors of all three reploids the familar words dispaling WARNING in bloody red alerted them of the danger.

From the pile of rubble a monster appeared, the new mavercik appeared to be made completely of metal, as he possesed two great metal claws in each arm.

The metal tiger robot looked at both Xiek and Hub before continiuing, "I am Iron
Claw...... you little maverick hunter, you will fall againt my might."

Ray jumnped off the building, that maverick was not part of the mission, it was Iron Claw ans A-Ranked Maverick Hunted for the destruction of the Sharo Area in the North.... those two wont last a few seconds against him...

"I don't care who you are, you're going down!" Hub shouted as drew his Blue Saber. His Megabuster was raised and he was looking for a weak point.
"I can't find a weak point. Lokks like I'm wingin it." Hub thought. He lowered his Megabuster and he started to raun at Iron Claw.

Iron Claw lunged at the Cybernetic Blue Bomber, his sharp claws tring to shred to pieces the valient Navi turned Reploid, but before he could score a certain hit, as drill like bullet pierced his chest, the armor of the metal tiger giving in, reveiling a new weak spot!

Ray looked from his scope a few meters away, thankful for his Drill M-Breaker bullets that he had gained form the drill navi the other day. He changed his weapons to their default form and took his bommerang dagger and joined wiht Xiek and Hub into the fray

Ray threw his Boomerang Dagger at the bigger monster maverick, the spinning dagger stuck true and pushed the monster back, as the weapon returned Ray drew his R-Glaive and stopped both claws with the lengthy weapon...

"Both of you, strike the opening, now!"

Xiek charged forward, the light growing around him as he plunged his blade deep into the Maverick. "Heh..." XIek's eyes flashed back to normal. "Wha-?"

"Outta the way!" Hub called as he let loosea blast from his cannon. Xiek flipped back as the blast made contact with the Maverick. Iron Claw roared in pain, and his body was encompassed in a large explosion. Xiek and Hub looked up as the dust settles, and two small cores went to each of them.

Xiek spun around, "Mission Acomplished." He looked at Hub, then fainted.

"But, it wasn't his falt. Something wierd happened to him and then he fainted." Hub said. He was still happy that he was B-Class but he knew something happened to Xiek to make him faint.

"That's beside the point, even if it was some sort of...virus or infection, it still hinders him. If he can recover, he'll have no problem rising through the ranks." The reploid sighed, "Unfortunately, we can't determine what's wrong with him." He walked over to the door. "He's awake if you want to see him."

"Sure. I'll go see him." Hub said to the replod as he walked to the door. He opened the door and saw Xiek.

Ray sat in his office contnuing to write the report on the hunt of the Iron Claw Class A maverick, true the monster had been quite a challenge for the two rookies but they both had skills and they did not need much of his help to win, just to open an oppening to them. So their ranks were well founded...

Still, there was one thing the two rookies had not been told, due to their well teamwork inthe missions, the two along with him and perharps another Hunter would form a new Squad to Hunt more Powerful Mavericks.

Also his rank had been changed, due to him now being the senior hunter to the other two, much to his chraggrin, he now had been changed to the codename Midnight Sniper, to diference as now he would lead and guide the two during their time together...

Great he now was going to become some sort of mentor... Just peachy, just peachy...

Xeik dashed into the briefing room, just in time to recieve his first assignment.

"All right," The tall reploid who spoke looked like an army general, several stars on his black armor shone in the light. "You'll be working in a squad of three for your first mission. Your sqaud nuber is #42. Since you and Hub are new, the Mavericks have no clue who you are, therefor, you are going to infiltrate a society of mavericks. We have heard that they have a new-type virus that can infect relpoids through simple satallite transmissions. We need you to find it. Hub, since you're a reploid, you'll have no problem getting in, but Xiek, you can't use your biometal in this situation. Your biometal form is famous for some looting you've done, therefore you'll need to stay human and act as a reploid."

Xiek nodded. "Alright, when do we start, and who's the third member?"

"You'll start in a few hours, as or your third member...he'll be here shortly."

Ray walked down the hall to the Transerver Room, the next mission assigned to him was to try to infiltrate a maverick Soicety along Hub and Xiek as Squad 42, true it would be more of Hub and Xiek joining and he using his skills to give support and guide them in case of any emergency, the mission would depend on the skills of the two rookies and the abilites he had to guide them safely.

Ray smirked as he entered the room, this would be an interesting mission and he was curious about the hand fate would deal to them...

Xiek and Hub grabbed the transeivers and put them on. "Alright, Mission Commence." He and Hub walked through the transerver and appeared on the other side.

Cyriss is walking down the road, every step a small puff of dust kicked up at his foot's position. The deserted, old strip of highway has played host to his travels for in access of a year now, living off of whatever food he can come across, and otherwise thriving on his journey.

Now, he has made his way back onto the main highway, as vehicles fly past, he ignores there presence. Ever onward, walking alongside the road, which has become his eternal companion.

A man approaches from a distance. he also carries a gun, though it appears to be much smaller. He is wearing a black ski mask and carrying a large pillowcase.

"HALT!" Cyriss lifts a pistol free of its quick-draw holster, pointing the wide-bore barrel towards the running man. Instead of stopping, the man shoves past. The lion sights move to the man's back, and a single blast of red charged energy burrows into the man's clothing, his flesh, incinerating a hole through the small of his back. He shrieked, partially in pain, partially in sheer terror, then collapsed to the ground, dying.

Cyriss approaches the dying man and takes the sack, then delivers a decisive shot to the thief's head. He continues on his journey, the sack slung over his shoulder.

Hub landed on the ground and looked at the rast area the mission was being held. "Lets get going." Hub said, the area they were in reiminded him of a place that he couldn't remeember the name of.

Cyriss hefted the pillowcase, discerning from an inspection the following information:

"Hmm... About ten pounds, trapezoidial, quite possibly ten pounds of gold ingots." He made a hrmff noise under his breath and put the sack into his backpack, and kicked the man's corpse into the gutter.

Traffic hadn't even stopped.

Cyriss continued up the road for a while, until eventually he came upon a fallen section of the highway, the burnt-out hulk of an armored vehicle sitting on top of it. Several blasted corpses sat around it. Cyriss hrmffed again and looted the corpses, pocketing money and ammunition, then finally replacing the fallen contraband and gold ingots in the back of the truck.

'Pickup squad'll be here soon...' He thought, smiled slightly, and walked away down the highway again.

Xeik held his gun close to him. Sure, it was a small pistol, and probably wouldn't help much, but it still made him feel better. He quickly ran towards the building, and searched for an openeing. He didn't find a door, but he found an air duct.

"Not my perfered method..." Xeik jumped up, climbing in carefully. "All right, Ray, I'm in the building. I've recieved new instructions, that I am not to be seen. Hub is the plant that we've placed in."

Ray walked across the buildings in the low districs of the city, nearby their target, the parameters of the mission had made him remove his armor, and now wearing ususal clothings that woudl give little to no protection against a Maverick.

But that was not the worst of it, due to the large space his Great Plasma Rifle took, the sniper robot had been forced to leave it at the base, and take a modified buster handgun (named jokenly as the R-Buster) along with a conceiled Bommerang Dagger and a rectracted R-Glaive.

Hub had becomed the plant inside of the reuinion of potential Mavericks while he stayedoutside cordinationg the mission along with Xiek who was inside covering Hub.

Receiving the transmition of Xiek, Ray responded, "Xiek be careful, this channel is not perfectly secure, please do not use it unless it is vital to you or him." He had to vauge on his orders as you never knew who could be hearing...

"This place is wierd." Hub thought as he loooked around. He knew he was in enemy territory so he had to be cool. He scouted the area and he was trying to find something wierd that looked dangerous.

Ray looked at the map of the area in his scanners, showing with pin.point accuracy where his two partners were, "Hub please be careful... try to act calm, remember you are a mavercik... so don't screw this up... for you own good."

Ray chuckled as he continued to give instructions to Hub and the conceiled Xiek.

"So what am I looking for?' Hub asked. He thought he heard something and he turned around and saw two Mavericks walk by. The two Mavericks looked at Hub for a momment. Hub had a striaght face and didn't flinch. Then the two Maveicks walked away. When they turned around the corno Hub let a sigh of relief.

Ray would have contined to help Hub had there not been a slight inconvenient.

One of the Maverick Guards had found strange the behavior of the Hunter disquissed as a normal maverick wandering to near their Base.

"So what are you doing here?" The Guard asked Ray as he scratched the back of his head, and gave a sheepish smile, "Oh I just got lost, but well I guess I will leave..."

The guard not believing him raised his buster arm, but he was sliced in half by the R-Glavie. The attack had left the uniform usefull, leaving him with the opportunity to enter the base...

Ray entered the building using his newfound uniform to fool the Guard and entered the building hopeing to aid Hub and Xiek in their mission.

Hub opened a door to see anything wierd but instead he saw an army of Mavericks inside the room.

"I have no choice but to go throught the room or I'll look like a spy tring to find my way." Hub thought as he walked into the room. He wlaked thoughr the room, tring not to touch into any Mavericks, just incase one of the Mavericks were in an angry mood.

Xeik, however, was given a special assignment. It was to improve his own skills, but the Maverick Hunters HQ wanted him to look into it. There was a supposed treasure in the base, heavily guarded.

Xeik looked at his small navi-computer. "Alright, it should be right under me..." He unscrewed a tile to his left, and stealthy dropped below. He looked up at what appeared to be a mask. Xeik smirked. "I knew it..."

Roy moved into the base, planting detonation charges concealed within the infrastructure, you never knew whe you could use a big BOOM, after all it always worked for the Mavericks so why not them.

He pleanted the final charge and moved to the side, entereing the left hallway to find out the camera room to help guide the two rookie hunters.

"Wow...reconized me that fast?" Xiek shook his head. "Never mind, you're right. The nav-computer says the room is up the hall." Xiek dashed out the door before Ray could say anything else.

Rasy sighed, and for the record he is an experienced hunter, and these are his misions, and plus the disguise they wore was not really that good, at least for someone at his level.

Anyway Ray followed behing Xiek, hiding behind walls and shadows to conceal their pressence from the others Mavericks, and thus the two arrived at the chamber of the Boss waiting for a new battle

Xeik smirked. "Alright then..." His armor suddenly shifted to it's orginal black and red color. "Model R!" He fliped backwards, and jump-kicked of the wall, launching himself into the air. He grabbed hold of the Beetle's legs, and called out, "Iron Will!" Suddenly, his arms and legs became very heavy, amde from highly durable, yet extreemely heavy iron. The Beetle and Xeik fell to the ground. "Now!"

Ray smiekred at the strategy made up by the class C hunter, he drew his Glaive, shanging to his Drill mode, the blade gained the Breaker cababilites, as it pierced the thick armor of the left arm of the beast in one thrust.

The mindless maverick screeched, as it flew again, this time a great quantity of energy being charged in its horm, it was going to use a dsperation move, and it was going to hurt, royaly!

Ray shifted to the side, but the bettle caught him in his deadly vicegrip, wiht out the thick armor of other he knew that he would be crushed fast, so Ray shifted into the Drill/Type DNA Custom, as it raised his armor defence, and brouhgt the R/.Glaive onto the back of the Maverick, denting the super dence Gundanium alloy.

Xeik shook his head, his eyes reverting. "Ow...shift! Model Q" His armor changed again, and he jumped high in the air, flipping and beinging his leg down into a drop kick with the deadly kick-edge.

Ray jumped out of the Claws, now cahnging to the Fire Wing armor, as his speed increased, Ray released a burst of Fire bullets all targeting the Metal Bettle square on!

The bettle recoiled from the fire lemental attacks, but brushed it off as the Gundanium armor was still strong! Ray dashed to the side evading the Storm laser attack form the beast, the wind blades crossed the fied but Ray moved and drew a cahrged buster at point blank of the beast, "Fume!" The buster released a dragin shped beam as it struck the incest maverick with the powerful heat attack, Ray backflipped to wait for the next action of the enemy!

Xeik smirked, "Model R" The armor changed once again, and heheld up his twin busters. "Dual Overcharge!" His arms suddenly seared with pain as large amounts of energy charged into his busters. "Fire!" The two blasts charged forward into the Beetle's armor. Xeik smirked again as the blast cleared. The armor was cracked.

Ray moved quickly releasing another fume blast from the buster, he lacked his original armor, so he could not risk to expose himself to the hardened bettle maverick.

The maverick's armor cracked as it rose into the air one again, his body shinning green wiht power as it prepared to release its ultimate move!

Ray watched as the bettle crasehd onto Xiek who his Iron Armor held off the powerful charge of the monster.

Ray changed into his Power Drill Style as he jumped over the beast diving in the now piercing R-Glaive!

The beast roared, and a large explosion of lightning and fire consumed the two Maverick Hunters, throwing them both against the wall. Xiek coughed, and got up. A large orb appeared where the moster was, and Xiek gasped as it split into two.

The debriefing was one of the most interesting one's Ray had ever experieced. The disk contained DNA incripted from several Legendary WArriors, such as Prometheus ((aka. Protoman)), X, Zero, Vile, Dynamo, Gate, Axl, Spider, Cinnamon, Maximo, Marino, Sigma, and worst of all, Lumina. The mavericks were planning on using the DNA, but for what...Xiek only prayed they would never find out.

Ray just stared, the information could not be true, but the cynical part of him smirked as he quickly evaluated the chances of the current forces of the Maverick Hunters being able to survive the current battle, and to be truthful they were not high.

Most hunters available were at B rank at most with the exception of the few A and S ranks hunters that lead off squads, but still hi doubted that anything could be done about the current plans iniciated by the mavericks....

But well at least the had not gotten the powers of the Omega Zero, the God of Destruction... that made his day... at least somewhat....

His busters would need remodifications as well, for the last Overcharge burned Xiek's hands. He looked down at the scars, and remembered the breif rage thath he went in when he grabbed his beam saber. What is happening to me?

"Yeah, another mission! I would have helped with the other mission, but I got kind of lost inside the enemy base. Now I going to be right into the action!" Hub shouted. He ran out of the briefing room and he started to get ready for his new misson.

Ray returned to the room, his rifle was covered with black cloths as it appeared ot be two times as larger as before, the other hunters wondered how the reploid could handle such a gigant weapon in combact, but it did not matter so the armored Ray stood there waiting the two with his new weapon....

"I'm here!" Hub shouted as he ran down the hall, waving. He wasn't going to miss any of the action this time. Every second he ran faster and faster until he made it into the room.

Ray statred at the ruins of the base that served as the last stand of the villan known as Dr.Wiel that was defeacted by a great hero... "Guys we were sent because there had been some signals around the base, they are rumors that there is a powerful weapon stored here, Data left behind by Wiel himself, so how about we try to find it okey!"

Xeik nodded, shifting into Model Q, and running into the first open door he could find. Of course, being an expert looter, Xeik knew his way around many traps and ways that might have been otherwise blocked.

Ray stayed behind using his R-MPD Rifle to blast away any robot that dared near them, he was not named the Midnight Sniper for nothing after all and he was the head hunter of the team, at least for now....

Ray looke at the strange chip held by Xiek, "Give it to me, it would be better if I guarded it, I am head huinter after all," He was their capitan and he should take care of them... after all they were still rookies.... no matter how good they were...

"So we are looking for what is making the signal. Doesn't sound hard. I mean what could it possible be that we aren't ready for." Hub said over cofindently. He was ready for anything and ghe was ready for action.

"LLoks like the mighty warrior Zero took out most of this base. I'll be surprized if anything that that guy Dr.Wiel made is still working." Hub said as he walked around the base.

"JunkMan? There's a JunkMan where I come from. And I beat him, let me handle this guy!" Hub shouted as he took out his Blue Saber. He started to run at JankMan and right before he ran into him Hub jumped up and aimed his Blue Saber at the solo Navi.

Ray moved back as he watched the tow other hunters assault the Junk maverick. The monster summoned its conventionla balls of trash as he sent them to target the other two Hunters.

Ray shoot thrice with the R-MPD, the high concentration bullets piercing the shell of junk before they could attack his allies...

The gusts of wind hit the Junk pile, and threw him back, further disabling him. "Wow...that was kinda...anticlimatic."

Xeik continued on, feeling a strange pulse from behind him. It felt similair to him, sonehow. Almost like... The Virus inside of me? He automatically reverted to Model R, and slowly reached for his beam saber. But...where is the energy coming from?

IN: Ray felt a strange energy run thoruhg him, it corrupted him, tainting him, promisiong him the things he had thouhgt he no longer needed. His weakness, his failure, he could avenge them, restore them, and he gave in to them....

Ray drew his gigant rifle as he shoot a green plasma shoot at the his two fiends that now were his enemies, "Maverick Huinter... Xiek, Hub... Die!"

Xeik spun around, "Taking on an S-Class Hunter? Not wise, Omega. I've beaten you once, I can beat you again." It wasn't Xeik speaking, though it was using Xiek's voice as an underlay. The overlayed voice was much deeper, and more powerful sounding. The virus acted quickly, slashing the blast into nothing.

Ray started to change as his armor turned into a deep scarlet red, and from his back a long golden cape sprouted, he lifeted the gigantic gun wiht one had as his bommerang dagger modified itself into some sort of violet triangular Saber....

"I am the Messiah!"

Ray flashed as his high speeds made him appear as a blur to Xiek's human eyes, he appeared form behing the hunter, as he shoot a charged buster blast at the hunter....

OOC: Omega said that in the battle in MMZ right... too long

The virus had seen the movement, but Xiek's body couldn't react fast enough. The blsat sent him flying forwards. Suddenly, though, his hand flew down, causing him to flip over and land squarely on his feet. "Alright...so, you've already figured it out, then?" Xeik laughed. "Then again, you always were good at taking orders."

Xeik held up his hand. "Model ZR" Sudden;y, his armor changed to a red armor with black lines, inverting the red and the black from his original armor. Xeik smirked, and seemingly disappeared. He phased behind Omega-Ray, and lashed out with a powerful slash from the jet-black beam saber.

In: Ray rolled to the side, the tip of the ZR-Saber penetrated into his arm armor, he aimed with his cannon, as he moved in wiht his own O-Saber and slashed at Xiek, to later follwo with a point blank assault form his rifle....

Xeik heard the armor crack, but ignored the searing pain as his blade clashed with Omega-Ray's. The Virus within Xiek was beggining to get stronger. A dark red aura began to form around Ray, mimicking the light-red aura that had been slowly forming around Xeik.

Hub could only sit back and watch in horror as the two reploids fought tooth and nail.

Ray felt the deep aura consume his digital soul as his powers were being augmented by the being he now felt inside of his.. War, Destruction, Chaos.. what was this being....

The midnight sniper shifted back as he stored his blade, and held his rifle in two hands as it separated into two different peices, "Hey Fake take this, I am the God of Destruction, the Omega Ray released a volley of charged blasters (that did not need any charging time) as he moved at high speed circuling Xiek....

Xeik's new armor reacted much faster than the original, and air-dashed straight up, and pulling off a dual overcharged blast as he came down, at point blank range. The two warring warriors were thrown back, each sliding to a halt. Neither one seemed to have sustained any damage from the blast. Xeik smiled. "Well then...I believe we've both reached our limit. You know as well as I do, Omega, that he is coming back. He will find a way to kill us."

The Omega Ray smirked as he left teh rifles to drop and drew his purple O-Saber, "I never cared about him, all that matters right now, is you Soul, and if he dares to come here then I will destroy him too! I am the Messiah of Destruction!"

Omega Ray jumped as he flashed towards Zerofied Xiek his violet saber ready to strike at his mortal nemesis....

Xeik scowled. "You fool." He held up his blade, defending the next three strikes from his enemy. "The soul you seek cannot be taken. Zero is dead. I am..." Xeik's eyes seemed to shine. "I'm Xeik now. Zero is dead." The virus gave Xeik a boost of energy, causing a sudden rage to overcome him.

"Giga Crush!" Xeik slammed his fist down on the ground, causing massive rays of energy to fire out in all directions. The blast consumed the entire area of Area-Zero, completely destroying the remanents of the Ragnarok Space Station.

Hub coughed as he got up. He looked around to see the two former partners still fighting.

Xeik threw himself into a backflip, dodging another slash. I don't know how much more his body can take...

Meanwhile, in the remander of the junk, JunkMan appeared ad he started to throw the debre at Hub, but Hub easliy dodged by going to the right.
"Looks like I'm going to get some action in now." Hub thought as he blasted five megabuster shoots at JunkMan. JunkMan made a wall of debre and reflected the megabuster rounds. JunkMan lowered his wall of junk to see where Hub was, but Hub disappeaered.

"Where did he go?" JunkMan asked confused. He looked around, but saw nothing, but then he heard Hub.
"Up here!" Hub shouted, he had his Blue Saber in his hands and was too close to JunkMan so debre could not protect the Navi. In a quick swipe JunkMan fell to the ground and then exploded. Hub put his Blue Saber and he had a cofindent look on his face. But in the smoke of KunkMan a red orb floated around Hub and then it went inside of his body through his symbol on his chest.
"What just happened?" Hub asked confused as he looked at his symbol, which was glowing.

Omega-Ray skidded to a halt after a few meters, the blaster had dented his sarlet armor, the hunter jumped his violet blade shining, as collumsn of light rose, healing the wounds he had suffred, "You can not stop me! OVERDRIVE! The Model O shined as the user rushed at his target, the violet blade leaving an afterimage, collumns of light followed the messiah of death, after he seeked his target!

Xeik's eyes widened. "What!? OIS!" His own Overdrive kicked in, and his speed doubled, but nowhere near the speed of Omega-Ray's.

((And so the fun begins again))

A large blast blew the two warring fighters apart. The two turned to see who fired upon them, only to see one of the many X-Clones standing in front of them.
"You have fought long eough, Omega, Zero. It is time that you stop."

"What make's you think an average Maverick is going to stop us!?" Xeik yelled.

"Because, I'm no average Maverick Hunter." A strange, blue arua formed around the X-Clone. "It's a horrible inhabitant, but it has it's uses."

Hub ran over to his two partners. The fighting was wierd, but now a strange X-Clone just appeared. What was happening? "Who are you?" Hub asked the mysterious X-Clone.

"That is none of your concern," The strange reploid said.

[Azure]

Omega-Ray stared at the scum that had dared to interup his fight, "You!, How dare you interfere, die!" Omega rushed at the X-clone, his OIS incrementing his speed as his other boomerang blade tranformed into another O-Saber.

Omega spun mid air, using the two blades and the wind armor of Ray to create a Scarlet Tornado that engulfed the X-Copy.

The X-Copy aimed upward, firing a single shot that somehow negated the tornado. "Omega, you cannot defeat me."

Xeik smiled. "So then, you have been awakened also, X."

[Roxas 1994]

"Sorry to asked, but who is X?" Hub asked. He was new to there dimension and he didn't know of there dimension's past.

[Azure]

Omega-R smirked as he ignored the call from the Megaman of another dimension, "So yuo manage to show your face even after all of these years right... X..." Omega chuckled as the crimson light banished reveiling an tired Ray clutching the two bommerang daggers and the form of the Live Metal Model O floating before him...

"What...What happened?" with that Ray fell to the floor along with the Model O that went to his owner...

Zero nodded to X. "Thankyou, my friend." Model ZR reverted back to Model R, and Xiek blinked a few times. "What the-?" Suddenly, Xeik fell back as his body's wounds caught up to him.

X turned to Hub. "I am sorry, but the events that have happened here must be erased from your memory, at least for now." He waved his hand, and the strange blue aura shifted from the X-Clone to Hub.

((Hub is now infected with the X-Virus))

"What the-?" Hub fell to his knees. He blinked twice before he blacked out and fell to the ground. The blue arua around Hub started to grow brighter and then it disappeared.....for now.

*Several Days Later*

Xeik blinked, waking up in a ward. Several people were around him, one of them his commander.

"You are lucky to be alive. When the explosion hit Area-Zero, we thought you all had died. The wounds you've recieved were fatal, and yet here you are."

OOC: Great so now we are the new reincarnations of Omega, Zero and Z, now what, revive Iris and Colonel, how about a model Axl, or maybe a Model Ciel... lol

IN: Ray woke up hours after Xiek had woken, not that he knew that, after his auto recovering system had managed to reapair most of his broken body, the metal square that was Model O accelerated the repairs of his body, Ray turned as he saw his divided, R-MPD Rifle on the white wall of his room that was most likely a medical center....

Wrapping the weapon in its white cloths Ray worried about his two companions wondering what had happened.... and what was the small Model that he found on his pouch....

When Hub woke up he noticed that something wierd had happened to his symbol on his chest. Instead of his symbol shapes being red, the two shapes were now blue. "What happened?" Hub asked himself.

"I feel weird latley, but I don't know why. And the starnge part is that the symbol on my chest had turned blue. What does it mean?" Hub thought. He looked at his symbol once more, but this time it started to glow for a second and then it stopped.

OOC: Okey fixed it...

Ray tried to move, and exited his room, his joints felt broken and as much as he tried he felt heavy and sluggish. The hunter had left his weapon on the room, it was an extra burden he could not carry, and he made his way to his room, he had several items that would help him there

Even as a Hunter he never trusted others with his repairs...that was somthing that only he could do... and he would not dare to allow any other to pierce his barriers.... so in the darkness of his room, the Midninght Sniper nursed his wounds...

Xeik sighed as the Medical Reploids were testing him again. "I'm fine! Really!" Xeik dashed out of the room, and headed into the central corridor of the base. "Jeez..." He looked aound, trying to find his quarters. He hadn't even seen them since he got here.

"I'm ok!" Hub shouted as he ran out of the medical room They wouldn't stop testing him. "No wonder why other Maverick Hunters don't want to get hurt on missions." Hub said as he ran to his room. For some reason Hub was healing all by himself, it was wierd.

[Azure]

Ray moved out of his room, his wounds were already all right yet he wondered about the strange Model he had found, it screamed at him power and skill yet for some reason he felt afraid of it...

"So Bio Metal who are you?" Ray had heard that these metals coudl speak and had an powerful AI based on the memories of the Original they were based on.
The metal shinned as it responded, "Me, you could call me Messiah or Live Metal Model O, whichever you prefere little Reploid..."

Ray stared at the live metal as he crashed against another reaploid he had not seen because of his Model O.

Xeik staggered back. "Hey...watch it. Oh! Ray. Are you okay?" He noticed the Biometal in Ray;s hands. "Hey! I thought we didn't get anything on the mission?"

[Azure]

"Yeah I thought that too but I found this little fellow over here..." Ray started but was interupted by the angry model O..

"Me, I am not little nor a fellow, do you not understand, I am the Messiah of Destruction and none can match me, so face my wrath..."

True had the Model O a true body maybe it would have face the two hunters but Ray just took the metal buckle and stored it on his pouch...

"Ne, so what do you think this is? Xiek?"

"Definately a Biometal, though I find it strange that I can hear it. Normally, it only allows its weilder to hear it. No matter, though." Xeik shrugged his shoulders. "I guess maybe it likes to talk."

In: Ray laughed as he walked alondside the other hunter, "So now what... I mean do you know what happened on that pleace? We, we were fighting that JunkMan and then all turned black...."

"Actually, the last thing I remember was...that chip. I gave it to you, then..nothing." Xeik thought for a moment. "Maybe the chip had a virus of some sort that blacked out our systems, even though I was human, I was using the Biometal at the time. And then, afterwards, the base had seen us as the threat, and auto-self destructed." Xeik shrugged again. "Either that, or we're all going insane."

[Azure]

"I rather take the exploding base, so now what do we have another mission asigned right....?" The top brass would not allow the resources that they were go to the waste and they were top hunters after all, "So where is Hub? is he injured?"

"Not sure," Xiek looked around. "He wasn't in my ward while I was there, so maybe he got out already."

Hub walked out of his room and he was almost completely healed. For some reason hw was healing faster then normal. It was unnatrual for someone to heal that fast. "I wonder where my partners are?" Hun thought as he wondered the base.

"Not sure," Xiek looked around. "He wasn't in my ward while I was there, so maybe he got out already."
Ray turned to Xiek as both watched the blue reploid walking on the opposite hallway, "Hub there you come we should go to the de-briefing.

Xeik followed the two into the De-Breifing Room.

"Well, I am sorry to report that the Shuttle for the Moon has already left. They left yesterday, though they'll return shortly." The commander sighed. "Unfortunately, we have another Maverick Uprising in the Outlands. Ray, take your team by the Upgrade area for new weapons. Xeik, a new Biometal was found ans is not responding to anyone. It could be yours."

"Awesome! A new mission! After the rest I had I'm ready for some action!" Hub shouted. He was ready to get back into action and this time he felt stronger for some reason.

[Azure]

Ray and the team heeded to the Weapon Area as they went to pick up the new weapons assigned to them, he did not really had anything new, but his total weapons were updraded to handle the enrgies charges more easily and also changed to be able to handle the rought use he usually gave them.

The scope of his R-MPD Rifle was extended, as it gained on the more skill to snipe a farther range... "This is not bad," Ray tooke the Rifle wrapped in white and left to meet his team...

"Cool! They upgraded my Megabuster!" Hub shouted as he looked at his improved Megabuster. His new Megabuster was slicked, more narrow for a more powerful shoot, and was equiped a machine gun rifle to shoot more buster shoots in less time. After Hub chose the rest of his weapons he ran out of the room and he met up with Ray.

Xeik picked up the new Biometal, and suddenly, his armor transformed into...

Weapons: Dual Machine Guns, Back mounted Chain Gun, Back mounted plasma cannon, dual shotguns, two greatswords.
Abilites: Heavy Defence and Attack, almost no movement possible.

"Wow...this is cool." Xeik tried to turn and show off his armor, but couldn't move. "Uh....this is heavy..."
