my dad got so drink on new years that when my mom dropped him off at home he couldnt wait to go to the bathroom so he pee'd behind his truck

Just so that everybody knows, here is where my policy stands on this thread:

Almost everybody who has posted in this thread is probably too young to drink. (Here in the US 21 is the drinking age). That means other than me, most of you are admitting to illegally drinking. Shame on you. However, I do not wish to exclusively cater this forum to 14 year olds, and so topics like this can exist so long as they maintain composure without talking about things in a way that makes them too adult in nature (cursing, etc).

I'm not your mother/father/uncle whatever. I'm not your teacher. I'm not the police. Do what you want, just don't make a muss of my forum doing it. This thread shall remain open until further notice.

The legal drinking age is NOT 5. Parents here in the US get in trouble all the time for supplying alcohol to minors -- even if under parental supervision. That just isn't true here.

I don't see anything wrong with alcohol at all. There are certain personalities that should definitely avoid alcohol. Since alcohol is a depressant, different personalities will respond differently, and some become agressive. Some people become just plain moronic. However, alcohol itself is not inherantly bad. You guys are probably the same people who would say that marijuana is bad. You'd say that any drugs at all are bad. These kinds of claims have no health basis, it's just "because".

Here's the truth: Alcohol in moderation has very very few degradation effects. In some cases (particularly with wine) it can help the heart. Alcohol in moderation also doesn't have much effect on the liver and kidneys, unlike frequent alcohol abuse. As for the temporary mental effects? Who the hell cares. Life is hard people. Who cares when one person wants to take a temporary escape? And that's exactly what being drunk is. It's an escape. You aren't yourself when you're drunk, you're gone, taking a vacation, and some clown steps in to take your place. And I'm not going to lie - it's fun.

With all that said: Don't drink, kids!

PS: Also note that I do not condone drunk driving under any circumstance. I also do not promote binge drinking, which is very dangerous and can cause your liver to shut down.

My best friend has been denied her variance to our highshool, and i can't live with out her, and it all happened on the day of the aims testing... Sounds suspicious to me...

The closest I've ever been to drunk is when I accidently took too many benedryl pills (I need them to sleep) and I started seeing/hearing things. No, but once I was at a school dance which was raided 'cause someone spiked the punch. There's some law I think called Section 6308 that states it's illegal to purchase, consume, transport, or even POSSESS alcohol under the age of 21. So if I was holding a cup of spiked punch it would've been illegal, I was just gonna get some I was right in front of the bowl and reaching for a cup.

I was at a party yesterday and I drank a **** load of molson's cold shots...then took down about half a 26 of straight vodka and I think I threw up like 10 times around this chicks house lol, had to leave early

Amazing how people drink so much that they puke and still go back for more. Humans are such idiots.

As for myself I don't do the drinking or the smoking.

Alcohol and drugs are not my thing. And by the way I am old enough to do them both if I wanted to but I just don't care to get myself sick.

I probably should drink some wine on occasion since my dad said a few is good for your heart but I think I can find better ways to do that.

I am never going to drink. EVER!!! A lot of my family drank underage. My brother went to jail for it. I am TOTALLY different from my family. I will never drink, or smoke, and I am a vegetarian while the rest of my family (from my point of view) are ferocious carnivoures.

I have drunk before, but my parents allowed it. I wouldnt have done it if people wouldnt have given me 20$ to drink a shot of Hot Damn. It wasnt that bad but that is the only time I have ever drinken, and my parents watched me. Prom is tomorrow and I dont plan on drinking then. I dont plan on drinking untill Im 21, and after that I probably wont drink a lot.

I am 25, I go out once a week with the girls and get plastered. We take turns being the designated driver. Its not too bad, because lets face it, it is a whole lot cheeper to buy soda, than alcohol. I love my night out with the girls. A few warnings, you're mainly a bunch of kids, and I know you've heard it before, but always have a designated driver, don't drink in solitude, and please please always be with people you trust whenever you drink. The last is the most important, always consider what/who will make sure you get home safe and sound. Don't ever put yourself into bad situations, where someone could take advantage of you.-Sarah;)

it dont hurt and u probably wont feel sick afterwards
make sure u eat alot of salts and savory things and not any sugars before u start drinking and ur foods more likely to stay down

OFF TOPIC:So, simply because someone eats meat and drinks makes them ferocious? Meat is supposed to be ingested into the human body, it gives you stuff you need duh. That's why you see vegitarians dying faster than meat eaters. Simply because meat helps your immune system, strengthens it.

ON TOPIC: My family does sadly have along line of alchoholics, I try not to drink alot because I'm afraid of becoming what I hate. But I do drink occasionally. But I've never gotten sick off it.
