Interview: By Riku, the Darkness - Sora/BRADLEY

1.What do you think about the forums so far?

Brad: Well, I've been in the forums since pretty much last year's December, and I must admit I never thought they would grow this much. I'm pretty pleased with them at the moment and enjoy working hard for them to grow better and better along my other Staff partners. And I bet they will keep on growing, we're not even half-through the way yet, he, he.

2.When you first came to the forums, what were your first thoughts?

Brad: Well, honestly I thought it wasn't really a big deal, I mean, just one more from the pile, if you get me. I thought I wouldn't stick much to them. There weren't much members, I was number 276 or so, so yeah, my first thoughts basically were "not so special", lol.

3.Did you ever think that you would be a Co-Admin for the forums, and why?

Brad: At all, lol. Not even imagined I would become a Trainee Moderator at first. My first plan and task I proposed to myself when I joined was "Alright, it's enough, I'm joining this, I'm having fun, that's it". Didn't even plan accepting a job like Moderating and stuff. So I was pretty shocked when it happened, as that kinda things were pretty uncommon by then. But making it to Co-Admin was just the most unnexpected of all. I believed that I wasn't even doing a good job myself, I dunno, had not much confindence in being good at it, had a lot through my mind, ya know, by those times, that stuff. So no, never thought I'd make it into the Staff actually.

4.When moving up the ranks, what kind of privliage were gaven to you? was they good or useless?

Brad: Well, I was given some pretty nice extras such as an incredible ammount of PM Inbox space, which I gotta say it rocks, 'cause now I don't have to be deleting every PM in my Inbox every 5 minutes, lol. Then there is the moderative and administrative command, everything that it includes, ye know, closing, opening topics, creating new forum sections, and etcetera, which I don't really take as priviledges as they're more of a job or role, so they don't really count.

5.Do you think that you'll ever be promoted to an Administrator sometime in the near future? Why or Why not?

Brad: To be honest, I am not sure, lol. There are two other people who have the same exact chance than me to become Administrators, and they are both very hard working, they have my full-respect. So, unless there's this dropkick idea and we three get promoted, I say I'm not sure if I'll make it. I always tell myself: Stick to the current roll, don't rush and be hoping for the next step before manifesting the current one. So for now, I'm trying to concentrate in my current job, not wanting to make a huge step forward. So, if it happens, it happens, lol. And if not, it's okay.

6.What do you think of the Administrator now?

Brad :Alex did an amazing job creating the forums and site, and mantaining them. Though, the one who enforces pretty much the Administrative part, is DragoonKain, who does an excellent job, in my opinion. He is pretty fair, and does changes for good. So, in combination, I think the administrative part of these Forums is pretty awesome, hehe.

7. what did you do to move up in the ranks as you did?

Brad: I guess sticking to my current roles by that time and doing my best. That's pretty much the key to rank up.

8. could you recommend anything to our other users about moving up in the ranks?

Brad: I'll just say, it's not a game. Just get into this stuff if you're completely sure about it. But, as I said, show yourself worthy for the jobs and make an effort, and you will most likely gain some success, lol.

9. Is it fun being a Co-Admin? why or why not?

Brad: I get asked these kinda questions everytime, lol. Everyone thinks it is something to have fun with. But, it's a responsability, a role, not something to be entertained with honestly. To have fun, you've got the forums, the Clans, the Games, discussing, debating, etcetera. Believe me, it's not like you're gonna have more fun or be better by turning into a Moderator or Administrator or stuff. If you wanna live the real fun, just enjoy the forums, lol. Not saying that we don't enjoy it ourselves as staff, it's just that we have more business to deal with around, that's all.

10. Last Question, who promoted you? why do you think he/she did it?

Brad: It was DragoonKain. He was telling us three (KH3fan02, Riku-Sora, and I), that he had to leave for a while because of moving from his house and stuff. So he left us three in charge, promoting us to Co-Admins, which ended up by being permanently. I guess he trusts us, which is good. :P~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Forum News, by Xehanort

The Kingdom Hearts 3 forums seem to be at an all time high. We’re getting new members each day, and more and more people have been drawn into the Kingdom Hearts Forums experience. All in all, it seems that we are quite well known and doing better then ever. However, this has proved only to be an illusion.

With each passing day, more and more members are leaving the forums. We even lost three of our most liked and well known moderators: Aerith, Riku, and Twilight Blade. This has proved time and time again to be a very upsetting occurrence for the members of the forums.

I’m sure I speak for most of the members at the forums when I say that enough is enough. I’ve seen enough of other members being forced to say goodbye to their friends on the forums, knowing that they may never hear from each other again. Even worse, some members then feel that they want to leave because they’ve lost a friend on the forums. Because of the popular trend of leaving, there’s even an official thread for it!

The forum’s survival is depending on the dedicated members of these forums. Without you, the forums wouldn’t be possible. That’s why I’m urging you not to leave. Eventually, the forums could even close if we don’t stop deserting it left and right. We’re not forcing you to stay, but if at all possible, stay a member as long as you can, or one day we may not have the kingdom hearts forums.

Interview, By Kingdom Hearts Freak to Riku-Sora

1. When you first signed up to this site did it ever cross your mind that you would become a Co-Administrator? If so can you tell us why?

I had no idea I would become one. I never really crossed my mind. I started off just as a regular mod after the first few weeks of being on. Riku, past mod, and I were the very first two hired here.

2. What was your reaction when you found out that you had become a person of such power (Co-Admin)?

I feel about the same. I am glad now I can help out more since I am not restricted on the Mod CP and can make more decisions based from my own experience.

3. What do you think is the difference between a member and a Co-Admin, and why? From your point of view.

Members have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. They can come on and have a good time all the time but staffs like me have to worry about cleaning up the spam, porn, and attacks that happen to our site. I have to act more professional as well in front of the members even though it does help members to know I can still have a good time on the forum just like they come here to do. *Gets DragoonKain and tells him to smile for the members along with me and wave.* I don't care if you don't want your picture taken. I say you need one for the members’ sake.

4. Can you please tell us what you would have done if you had never become a person of power among the forums, and why you think that?

I would still be active on the site and try to be an outstanding member. I really enjoy this community since it is healthy in activity and people are nice here. Yes! Sometimes too nice like Jess with her crazy self O.o

5. Have you ever thought of giving up? If so, why?

I thought about giving up a few times but that was only because of school. I decided I can handle it. Besides I am hoping with being in college going for my web development technology technical degree I will be able to help this place even more as a side effect to when I get a real job in the real world.

6. How much do you think you have "changed" from a moderator all the way up to Co-Admin?

I haven't really changed. Just gained access to the Admin area but that is G14 classified. I am not trying to do this to rule the world or am I.

7. What do you think is the best part of being a Co-Admin?

Just like being a mod I can help people just as an Admin I can help them more.

8. What do you think is the worst part of being a Co-Administrator, and why?

Fights among members, getting attacked by people that can't learn to behave so they come here to try and cause trouble for everyone, and I really hate having to ban people but I do what I have to do.

9. Do you think members have treated you differently since you became promoted or not? If yes may you please explain why?

I think people treat me just the same. I haven't seen anything different. Seems the same just like when I was a mod.

10. Do you think that you are on the right track so far as a being a member here?

I believe I am on the right track. Besides being part of staff I still have my member side in me. I like to discuss in topics I feel that are interesting and answer questions on topics just like a regular member does. I know my activity here has never been an issue. I try to come on at least once a day if I can.

Hope it's good, it better be good or I will bust up the Newspaper Team...(just kidding ha).
