Welcome to the Forums! The screen flashes and a bright light expels from inside. Instantly I'm inside one of the most advanced Cities I’ve ever seen.
On the side of the road a group of people see him. "Welcome to the forum sir" said one. "Can I interest you in a tour?"
He smiled politely. "Where am I?" The kid walks forward looking around at the amazing place.
"Welcome to Forum Ville" said the greeter. "Let me give you the grand tour." He walked along the sidewalk. “I’m a greeter” he explained. “We wait for the new arrivals and make sure they know how to use the place properly.”
“Wow” said the Kid. “My name is Wzrdto25.”
“Well nice to meet you Wzrdto25” said the man. “Call me Twilight Sora.”
“Okay nice to meet you too” said Wzrdto25 walking with him. They reached a place where a giant building stood. It towered over all the others. From inside you could hear the slight murmur of chatting.
“This is the General Chat area” said Twilight Sora leading him inside through the massive doors. The front desk was filled with three people. “Hi KHP, Kota and TWD” said Twilight Sora to them. They were dressed in green outfits and looking at video feeds of something. They were typing on computers and jotting down things on paper.
“Ugh” said the female one. “There were two people flaming today. We have paperwork up to our necks.”
“Don’t have too much fun KHP” said Twilight Sora heading for the elevators. He pressed a button and the doors swung open fast. About 15 people rushed out of the elevator as the two of them climbed inside. A man stepped into the elevator with them. He smiled at Twilight Sora and picked up the paper in his hands.
“Hey Axizol” said Twilight Sora. “Working on the paper?”
“Yes” said the man. “This issue has to be our best yet.”
“Paper?” asked Wzrdto25!
“Axizol here is the leader of the Newspaper” said Twilight Sora. “He’s a little busy body around here, got his hands full.”
The elevator stopped and the elevator chimed. “Newspaper Team” it said. Wzrdto25 tried to get out of the Elevator with the man but an invisible wall or something pushed him back. He flew against the wall of the Elevator. The man walked right on through the invisible wall.
“Newspaper staff only” said Twilight Sora helping him up. “You have to make the team to get inside.” The elevator slammed shut and it soared upward again. The elevator chimed “General Chat area” and Wzrdto25 got out with Twilight Sora. They started to walk down a long hall. Along the halls were doors that were labeled. “Quotes” or “Xbox Live Gamertags” he looked at them and was fascinated.
“So what is this place” said Wzrdto25 in a general way.
“This is where you can chat with anyone about something that is interesting or fun to you or any other member.”
They made their way back to the elevator after they had made a full loop around the floor. The elevator shut behind them and climbed upwards. It stopped next at a weird floor. In the front of the floor was a counter at which a bunch people were being given keys and rooms to go into. The elevator dinged “Introductions” and they got out again.
“This is where the new members are greeted by other members and they learn valuable information that can help them learn how to fit into the city” said Twilight Sora smiling at the face Wzrdto25 was making. They walked around the floor and registered for a room. He sat there and learned a bunch of new things about the city. The people downstairs were called “mods” or “moderators” and they kept the forums on track. There were five jobs, Design, Newspaper, Entertainment, Greeting and RPG. All of this was very interesting to learn. When they were done they climbed back into the Elevator and took off to the next floor. The elevator opened and chimed “Anime Board” Wzrdto25 looked around to see various names of Animes and people dressed up like characters. Twilight Sora hit the button and it slammed shut again.
“We’ll check that out some other time” he said as the elevator flew upwards yet again. It stopped at a floor that looked really nice. A museum full of artwork. The greatest artwork he had ever seen “Artwork” said the elevator as he climbed out. A man was staring at him as he walked by to one of the pictures on the wall. Three people were laughing next to a Picture and turned when he walked in. They crossed over the room and shook his hand.
“Who are you” said the man in the front. “I’m G3no. This is Jess and Dark Knight.”
“You can call me Wzrdto25” he said. “These are really good.”
“My team does the best work around” said Jess cutting off the others. “The design team in Forum Ville is the best of any of the major Cities.”
“Oh so you guys do these by request or something?”
“Yes” said Dark Knight “You fill out a request at the computer over there and we do our best to make sure it comes true.
“Wzrdto25 hurry we have to get going” said Twilight Sora. The Elevator was about to close but he was holding it open.
“I’ll see you guys around” said Wzrdto25 running to the door. He slid through before the doors could close. The elevator stopped at the next floor, more amazing then any other floor yet. It was a giant dome sort of like an auditorium except there were chairs that looked like torture devices. “RPG Room” said the Elevator as he climbed out.
