Ok.
Then you need to visit...

THE PRIDE LANDS: SUMMIT!

All you need is the strongest Magnet spell, and your set! (You don't really need it, but its helluva lot quicker)
Visit the above location, and you'll see the place is infested with heartless! Kill them all, Go out, and back in, kill, go out and then back in. Keep doing it until you feel you are high enough level to beat Sephiroth.

go to the world that never was ang go to naughts skyway

Naught's Skyway is good, but nothing really beats Yen's Tower as people have said.
