Zexion? Alive?

Some people have this theory that Zexion is still alive. I forget how he died so could someone please tell me why so many think he survived Castle Oblivion?

In Chain of Memories, you don't actually see Zexion dying. It was only implied that he was. The screen fades as Replica Riku goes towards him to strike. Afterwards, you can hear the sounds of a sword slashing which people assume is the sound of Zexion being killed. Personally, I think he's dead. This is what Jiminy's Journal said about him:

Formerly Organization XIII's Number VI. He has been eliminated.

Zexion disliked dirtying his own hands, and relied on his wits to despose of any rivals - but it was one of his own schemes that wound up destroying him.

Thanks for clearing that up. I don't think Jimminy's Journel is correct 100 percent of the time but I do agree with you that Zexion was most likely killed in Castle Oblivion.

jimminy's journal isnt always correct; his journal got erased after castle oblivion, and in one of the new games he questions one of the statements that he wrote down, making mickey digitalise it. So i assumed Zexion is dead but who knows, the new games will explain what happened to him.

In KH2:FM you can fight him in Hallow Bastion I believe where 8-13 doors are lined up where you can fight each organization member individually.

Zexion has been confirmed by Nomura to be dead, and that's where people began to question his weapon.

Because Zexion did really fight in CoM. Think back on it. He turned into Sora, and it was a cutscene. Even still, the thread has been long since answered
