How about continuing Final Fantasy IX?

From the looks of the threads on this site, it appears that the three favourite Final Fantasies are Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, and Final Fantasy X. Final Fantasies VII and X were continued, but most people think that VII is getting out of hand and Square-Enix should stop making games to add on to the series. Final Fantasy X had a sequel with too many bad points to be as good as the original.

So what about Final Fantasy IX? I don't know about you guys but I would love to find out more information about Zidane's past and everyone's future.

I thought I'd create this thread to find out your views on the subject - whether you think it would be a good or bad idea to make more games for Final Fantasy IX and what would be a good way of doing so.

I think it would be a good idea you could make it into another game but I'm not sure about a movie because a lot of people won't see. The game could involve more flashbacks of how he was raised in Lindblum, the kind of stealing jobs he did and even how he was created in Terra. The game could take place a few years later when he's older and there could be something like a new enemy. But that's my opinon I quite like the game even though it was my first FF Game.

I think FFIX is perfect the way it is but i wouldnt complain if a sequal of it came out.

I love FF9, but I don't know if a sequel would do the game any justice. The ending was perfect the way it was and there isn't any need for a sequel. Square-Enix could always make up a new story if there WAS going to be a sequel, but it should be left how it is right now. However, I'd much welcome a sequel to FF9 then having to put up with any other FF7 compilations.

If they continue FFIX it would make sence cause the drawings they put on the book are when they are bigger that game would be awesome.
