Sora loves Kairi, but Riku???

Everybody knows/it is obvious that Sora still loves/has feelings for Kiari, but what about Riku?? I definitly remember that in the first game they both had crushes on Kiari, so what happened to Riku? In the end of KH 2 it doesn't look like Riku has the same affection for Kiari that Sora does...... was it being in such close contact to evil..... or just everything that he has experienced..... or?????? What do you think??

My guess is that he never even had feelings for Kairi. He just talked about sharing the paupo (sp?) fruit with Kairi to get Sora razzled up. Of course though, it's just a theory.

But really...... what is the complete significance of the paupo fruit? I thought that it was you wanted to spend the rest of your life with/love the person you give it to, but then if Riku didn't like Kiaru, this would be more than what he would want to do..... but it could be like you said (EDIT- Stupid Grammar Mistake)........it was just to get Sora 'razzled up'

I think Riku just likes to joke around with Sora because he knows who he likes.
He might have liked Kairi at some point in time, but I think it was mostly because he noticed Sora liked her. He did say he was jealous of Sora, so that could've driven him to like Kairi. That's my theory anyway.
...buuuuuut overall, I think Riku is not really looking for a mate right now, but noone knows what nomura has in store ^_^ he may have new characters....

He does seem to stand around and hang with the king alot, and he tries to do so much himself that i dont think he has the time to like Kairi, but he watches over her in KH2.

While it would be a little interesting for Riku to be in a relationship, I don't really think he really needs one. I think he's one of those people who will go for a long time without being in a relationship and be fine that way. As long as he has his friends, it wouldn't matter. Not everyone has to be in a relationship in order not to feel lonely. Not to mention that I think that Riku might feel uncomfortable in a relationship, because of his insecurities.

sora should get kiari because in the first one when you get back from learning about the keyblade and yourself, sora is her own personal eye toy. also it would be cool if kiari got a keyblade, but specail like mickey's gold one.

sora blushes when kiari talks to him but i think it's because he actually is talking to a girl instead of the mirror, and also the destiny islands ( the hangout, just for all those thumb suckers out there) the island next to it that they live on should be open roam in the 3rd one. and mickey and kiari should definitely get together!:D it would be:cool: jk:p

i also think that once kiari goes with sora, that riku would get firious and what not.:( i know...shocking!

But also Sora and Kiari are ment for each other and I can prove it. Near the end of KH1 at Hollow Bastion Sora turns into a heartless and Kiari hugs him and he
is not a heartless anymore. And at the end of the kh2 after phase one of the Exzemnas battle it shows Sora and Kiari together and Namin'e opens a portal there about to go in but Roxas comes out of Sora then Roxas and Nomine say if Sora and Kiari are togethether then where together. i think at one time riku was in love with kairi, but after his brush with darkness he realized they can never be together. so yeah, i think he still loves her, but he doesnt show it because he knows her and sora belong together.

I think Riku loved her it is obvious he gave up to darkness in order to find her heart but he saw loving her was pointless since Kairi and Sora loved each other.But Riku and Kairi still care for each other they are still best friends.

I wouldn't say that Riku "loved" Kairi, but he had feelings for her. Once he was overtaken by the darkness and saw how Sora fought for her, even without the keyblade, he knew they were to be together. So in the end he knew that Sora was the one who should be with her romantically. Why do you think he told Sora to "take care of her" when he is locked inside Kingdom Hearts?
