BUT, not for those reasons. The "move" of making one game for each console, means making more money, (not to mention some people will even buy the console just for the game) and making more money is what Gaming Industry (as any other bussiness) is all about.

u are exactly right, BUT i kno kingdom hearts cant become final fantasy. and also nomura said tht after ff13 and ff13 versus is released he is done with final fantasy it is over and there will never be another game released unless they ff7 for ps3(hope). and kingdom hearts is most likely gonna be finished after the release of kingdom hearts 3. but this is the MAIN DIFFERENCE betwwen final fantasy and kingdom hearts, kingdom hearts couldnt become final fantasy after they released chain of memories, final fantasy is different because every game its completly different. new characters, new story, new weapons, new everything! kingdom hearts is SORAS story. these new games tht are coming out are sidestorys which in a way is kinda like final fantasy, so the answer to the thread is both YES AND NO. cause it has its differences and its equalitys.

not exactly becoming like FF, its just another big franchise that SE made, SE also made FF which lasted longer, doubt KH is gonna turn into that. He just made a good story thats worth more than 1 game.

By you worrying about it turning out like FF is a good sign, he made a story you like, and that you dont want to see turn out like FF and have differnt stories, he made a story you want to be just that, revovling around Sora, not others, which means he made a good game, thats why he made sequels for it, cuz you liked the Story. Not cuz hes trying to change it. Might not make sense at first, but if u read it a couple of times it'll make sense.

I don't think there'll be that many games; depends on how the third one turns out, but even if they do run out of worlds, they could re-visit old worlds or just create new ones made for the game. I didn't mind going back to certain worlds in KH2.

Yep, Disney and Final Fantasy. Even though I complain in the past, I must say that if there were no Final Fantasy I don't think I would like it as much. If Square-Enix just used Square-Enix characters, I'd be thinking 'who is that??' all the time, and I wouldn't enjoy the game if I don't know who they are. Then again, there's so many popular Square-Enix characters they should consider :)

nah......i forgot what website i read in....dont quote me but i believe it was KH:insider....where nomura states that he wants to make 4 KHs because and i do quote "It is not final fantasy, therefore the story cannot be explioted as much as the FF series" besides every FF starts off with a clean slate a whole new cast, a whole new story....as fo KH its the same cast and the same story.....with alterations.
