My doodling won't stop

[Aura's Retreat]

Between mounds of homework, ridiculous teachers, long hours of work, and desperate college searches, I'm still able to doodle.

Most of these are done in pen, so they may be disprpotionate, weird, and/or crappy. On the other hand, I'm doing exceedingly well in my Art and Animation Classes =D

Anything on lined paper was done in my Algebra notes. Most of the worksheets are from Chemistry.

These aren't exactly doodles, but a lot of people seemed really happy by the mad hatter one.

Yora is ze mad Hatter and Fiona is alice. I still have Kaye to do (White rabbit) and Sophora (Queen of hearts), also perhaps Nick (chetshire cat) and I'm not sure about Aaron yet.

I've been talking to my art teachers and she said if we have any left over clay (from clay projects) I can make mugs and we can iron pictures of something on there (I sorta tuned her out towards the end). I'm also making bookmarks and such.

Look for me in Artist Alley at Wizard world Philadelphia and Otakon next year! I'll probably be dressed up as the mad hatter and my girlfriend might be the alice. ^^

Anywho. As per college, I am looking into Art Colleges. I have a natural talent for illustration, so I may go for that as my major. That, or if I do well in my animation courses, I may head in that direction. For my first years, I'll do some free-lancing during my spare time (If I get any). I'm also applying for a summers' internship with Disney (where you work in the parks. Hey, you gotta start somewhere). Someone in my family did it and said it was definately worth it. I'll be running a web-comic in about 2 monthes or so (dependng how how busy I get) and another site for my art hosting. I'll keep you informed. ^^

I don't like modern Art. Anime is fun, but I don't like the sterotypes.

If anything, I love Korean style anime. I also try to pull off a more reallstic touch to my 'anime' characters. None of that 'my eyes are half as big as my face and my boobs are bigger than my head' stuff. I'm trying to take traditional--

I don't have many supplies, so I really don't have a shop/studio set up YET. Hopefully I'll have one by next year (once i nag the bejeebus out of my boss for more hours.)
