View Full Version : My Theories

I just had a major revelation, or maybe just a temporary end to my slight stupidity. :p At the end of the KH2 secret ending (the one where all the faces are concealed) it says "It all began with... Birth by Sleep". This could mean that what happens in Kingdom Hearts-Birth by Sleep is what began the chain of events in
KH1 and KH2.

In 358/2 Days, there is a fourteenth member of Organization XIII. I guess they can now call it Organization XIV, but that's not important. Nomura has stated that this new member is female, and that she didn't appear in any other games. My theory is that it's Aqua. I think this is very possible, but you can come up with your own theories.

I think there could be some kind of secret behind Ansem the Wise's alias, DiZ. Perhaps this is just a crazy notion from my subconcious mind, but maybe the name means something. This is a vague theory even for me, the one who came
up with it, so I'm gonna think about it.

In KH1, Kairi said she didn't remember her home town. I'm assuming she lost her memories. Xehanort also lost his memories, so maybe his heart is connected with Kairi's. Perhaps they share some memories and thoughts too? I don't know.

Ven looks EXACTLY like Roxas, and we all know that. What we don't know is WHY he looks like Roxas. My theory is that he is Sora in a past life. By that, I mean that when Ven died, his heart was maybe reincarnated into newborn Sora. Also, Ven's possible death could represent the "sleep" in "Birth by Sleep". This could also explain why, in Deep Jungle (when you're looking at the slides), Sora says that the castle slide looks familiar (Hollow Bastion). If you saw the BBS magazine scans, you'll recognize the Hollow Bastion crystal formations behind Terra and Ven.

Feel free to comment on these theories, and maybe post some of your own theories.

You're first theory about the meaning of Birth By Sleep is logical but I think there might be a deeper meaning to that.

You're second theory about the 14th member I disagree with only because aqua seems too much of an important character for them to put her into an unimportant game although it is a possibility (highly doubt it though)

DiZ means Darkness in Zero. It's in the Ansem Reports. He chose this name because Ansem practically faded into nothing and fell into the ways of darkness.

Kairi may or may not have memories. She might not be completely honest with Sora although that would contridict the fact that here heart is supposed to be pure. Perhaps in the impact she lost her memories. Xehanort's reason for not having memories is very unclear but we can't hope to acurately speculate because we don't know about his past.

My cousin said that he heard that Sora was a reincarnated form of some one from that past but my cousin lies alot and that would not make sense since KH:BBS takes place when Sora was 5. One of the knights though shows a small hint that he might be merged with someone else like a nobody or an entity. In Sunset Horizons we see the light hit a knight's armor and for a second or two you can see a second knight appear and fade in the original. This just might be because of the light but I found this suspiciously simalar to the time Roxas appeared and merged back with Sora. And Sora remembered Hallow Bastion because he felt the warmth in Kairi's heart trigger something and as we find out Sora was connected to Kairi's memories.

I think your theory are more like questions. But its okay. So I'm gonna tell something more. Although I'm not sure it is a correct guess though.
Kingdom Hearts: Coded is all about the debugging bugs that infected Sora's memories which Namine failed to recover in KH:CoM due to some problems. To reconstruct the memories, King Mickey had created a Data Sora (Expect this technology has some serious relation with Ansem the Wise or Xehanort) to clean all the bugs that concealed those crucial memories and return the 'Data Sora' into Sora. If I'm not mistaken Nomura said before that this game is just after Kingdom Hearts 2 and that this will be the road to Kingdom Hearts 3. So I think once we've completed Kingdom Hearts: Coded, things will clear up and show the starting point where Sora, Riku and Kairi read the King's letter.
My biggest guess is that this letter contains a few 'triggers' that will shock Sora and recover those memories. Sora will remember more and thus starts a new journey.
I should have put this in as theory but I'm busy and having an exam. This is but a summary. So you can use it for your own if you like. Might be out for more days.

I appolagize for the irrelevance, but shouldn't a game as important as Coded be on a better system than the mobile phone.

Every game is important, don't you think? Coded is as important as every game in Kingdom Hearts and it doesn't matter which platforms it plays on.
Square-Enix are having difficulties with graphical problems because the mobile phone system cannot support what they are engineering in Coded. So maybe they might change their mind, who knows?
