I'm sure most Kingdom Hearts fans know of the hit Super Smash Bros. series. Well IGN has created a list of characters that they predicted might be Brawl. One brand name came to mind when making the list, Square Enix. Keep in mind that these are only predictions made by IGN, they are in no way confirmations. They're worth a read.
Sora
I can see the negative reactionaries scrolling down to leave their livid comments now – but calm down, boys, because Sora could indeed be a possibility for inclusion in Brawl. The main character of Square's own on-going cross-over series, Sora is the hero of the Keyblade, traveling throughout the worlds of Disney's many famous films to fight and destroy the Heartless. The Kingdom Hearts series has inspired Nintendo fans for years now, fans who'd love to see Super Smash Bros. taken in some of the same epic role-playing directions – and Brawl is getting closer to that than ever before, through the fully realized Subspace Emissary mode.
If Sora were to come to Smash, he'd have a huge wealth of different abilities to draw upon. He's the most active and evolved hero on this week's list, and the techniques he's employed in all three past KH games could come into play – basic attacks with his Keyblade, casting magic spells for both offense and to defend, and even gliding through the air (as he learned to do from Peter Pan). There are composers from the Kingdom Hearts series confirmed to be working on Brawl, too – just like there were composers from the Metal Gear and Sonic franchises confirmed before. So don't discount Sora. He could be soaring into Brawl very soon.

Cloud
Man. If I didn't make the strictly-Nintendo fans made before, I'm certainly doing it now – but it's utterly undeniable, no matter what kind of gaming fan you are, that a cross-over of Final Fantasy's Cloud Strife into Super Smash Bros. would be a legendary event. Think about it. Sonic's already been revealed. He would have been the logical choice to be the last, hidden, super-secret character that became Brawl's icing on the cake, but he's just been given a profile on SmashBros.com like anybody else. That means that there's going to be someone else in Brawl who's even more of a huge acquisition, and even more unlikely to appear – and it could very well be Cloud.
Short of Halo's Master Chief, there would be few characters more amazing to see step into the Smash series than Cloud Strife, who's had an on-going fan-fueled feud with The Legend of Zelda's Link for almost a decade now. And Cloud, though only briefly, has appeared on a Nintendo system before – through Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on the GBA. The requirements are there. The good relations between Nintendo and Square are there. It could be Cloud.
And if it were, it'd be an absolute treat to wield his massive Buster Sword in battle. Cloud could arrive in any of a number of different forms, as he's certainly changed in appearance several times over the years, but he'd certainly come in hanging on to his classic, gigantic blade from Final Fantasy VII. It, and his many magical abilities, could easily form the foundation for a moveset – and his million-hitting Omnislash would be the perfect counter to Link's Triforce Slash, if it became his Final Smash. Come on, now. Even you haters have to admit that being able to see Link and Cloud actually cross blades would be an epic event.
