Hellsing is a 13 episode vampire anime and it's about this secret organization which hunts vampires in Britain... It was ok with me even though I don't like that kind of anime that much.... I'm more of a Trinity Blood person when it comes to vampire anime's...

i'd say definetely check out myazaki (i think thats how you spell it) he's really good. then theres also rave master (although old, it was good in my opinion) and MAR is good too
