As far as I know Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix will come out on PS2 for America. I believe it is in the fall. So obviously it will work on the PS2.

There are a few independent news agencies that say it will come (with FM+) to other countries in Fall. Enix hasn't confirmed it yet. It should work for PS2 though. I hope...

Supposedly, if it is only out in Japan and you import it, you would have to get some sort of upgrade (I forget what it's called, sorry) for your system. If it comes out everywhere, you should be fine.

Nope, that's complete fanart. Not only that, you're now talking about Kingdom Hearts III when we're talking about Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix+.

roxas, Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix+ includes Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on a separate disk, and it MAY be going to the US in Fall 2007. We still don't have confirmation.

Or just get a Japanese PS2. Which is weird I think, they are both PS2's, yet they wont play games from other countires? odd......Do they build them differently or something?


Also: On other threads people posted that KH1 wasnt that big of a hit, so KH FM was only released in Japan. Now that it has gotten huge, they will most likely release it world wide.

I'm pretty sure that it'll be released outside of Japan. Because the reason KH1 FM wasn't released in America was that their original KH1 had more content than the Japanese version, thus Square-Enix made FM for Japan. And now with KH2, they were both identical in most ways, so there's no reason as to why it won't be released in America. They'd be crazy NOT to. The sales figures over there are insane, and they would lose alot of money.

Yeah. That's the release date for Japan. 29th of March. And I've read in the news forum that Square-Enix have said that it won't be released outside of Japan, which is a shame. They're making a huge mistake.

my friend has the upgraded version and it means you can get your ps2 "chipped" which means you can play burned games and you can play japanese games. and because im in australia i can play american gmaes on his "chipped" ps2.

In January I read in a magazine article that KHIIFM+ was coming late in the summer and it was with an article that talks about Super Paper Mario or (SPM) even when SPM wasnt scheduled for release so this could be the truth or it could be BS even though SPM is out now.
