i pick dbz over naruto just because i have seen all of the episodes.

and ive only seen naruto like once when i was at a friends house. if i had cable im sure i would watch more naruto and im sure i would like it. so im not hating on naruto just because im picking dbz.

Well... the story in DBZ consists of "Beat bad guy. Stronger bad guys coming. Train. Beat bad guy. Stronger bad guys coming. Train..." and so on and so forth. All of the bad guys had exactly the same goal, and there was little to no character development... So, yeah, I agree with Roxas{Nobody} that DBZ takes the cake where the actual fights are concerned, but Naruto has a far better storyline.

one thing and happen in season 1 tht could be involve with season six

Not to spoil anything for people that don't want to be spoiled, but Naruto stops being babyish very quickly... If you read the latest manga that's released in Japan, it definitely has a much darker theme to it now, definitely not something that you'd call babyish.

You see, in the Japanese version, Naruto's not nearly so annoying. If I had to choose between DBZ and Naruto's english versions, yes, I agree that DBZ is much better. However, I generally like to watch anime in the original language it airs in (Japanese), and in that, Naruto is infinitely better story-wise. On the other hand, like I've already said, DBZ is definitely better in the fights department.

Naruto was babyish during the beginning. I still liked it but not as much until Naruto Shippiduen. To me that is when the show gets real good. It does have a good story to it. I also like watching it in Japanese with English subs. It is just better watching it that way. Animeviewer is where I go to watch them every week.

Now for DBZ. Ok it may not have as much story as Naruto behind it but it does have some. No character development? I think not. Just think about the rivalry between Goku and Vegeta. Plus there is always back story for the villains if you noticed. So the show does have plots. They actually went all the way back to Dragonball to pick a villain like Dr. Gero who became the creator of Cell. I think that shows story. The fights are always good except the only annoying part is they have the habit of talking too much sometimes. Otherwise good.

All in all it is no contest. They both are so good that I am tied between the two because each one has flaws that the other doesn't and vica versa.

I love the both of them, but you have to understand that Masashi Kishimoto was inspired by Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball.

Yes, Naruto is extremely popular and a magnificent series, but Toriyama just has a lot more experience under his belt. He has several mangas (Dragon Ball (duh), Jojo's bizarre adventure, Sandland, and so on and so forth) Two games (Chrono trigger and it's sequel Chrono Cross. Not to mention the trillions of dbz games (craptastic or not)) and Novels aswell.

But in turn, Toriyama sold out and let a bunch of noobs write Dragon ball GT in a mediocre effort to keep the series going. Yes you read that right. I didn't like GT. Burn me at the flippin stake.

I guess I just like them equally. :/

I have to say Naruto. Dbz is great but I like the story in Naruto way better. And as for the fights I like Naruto's better also. The fights in Dbz were kinda annoying to me. A whole bunch of super fast kicks, punches. Power UP.......Super huge energy blasts, blah blah blah. And they'd stretch a fight for like 50 episodes. They'd power up for like 5 minutes. I mean.......lol. Dont get me wrong its a great show but I like Naruto wayy better. But like someone mentioned earlier Naruto is kinda babyish. I don't believe so I believe that the Dragon Ball saga had a better story line then Naruto did. Naruto may be a newer anime series but I think the Dragon Ball saga had better graphics and music.

I think that by the time Gohan was 12 he could of beaten ten Itachis at the same time. The difference in power levels is way to great for someone to be comparing a DBZ character with a Naruto character. It's just too uneven, apart from the flying DBZ characters can do they move at a much higher speed than any ninja I've ever seen.

All in all I like Naruto better because after a while I was just constantly watching re-runs of DBZ, which turned out ot be very annoying.
