if you ask me kh3 will be set in the future because if you look
at the secrete ending closely you'll see the first knigth is standing on
the giant cyber dragon sora and riku beat in kh2

That still doesn't mean that its in the future.... there could be more than one cyber dragon thing, (not trying to be rude) :)

I've mentioned that before, but most people seem to think that it's not the same creature. It has giant claws for one thing and I don't think the creature Xemnas controlled did.

Yeah it never struck me as being the same creature, but the first several times I saw the video I thought it was a big rock formation anyway. lol. Duh.

But why does the thing disappear?

One of two reasons I can think of that it could be:

1) It's a memory that disappears like Riku, Kairi, and Destiny Islands do in the Kingdom Hearts II opening film.

2) (The more likely option) It's just been defeated and it disappears the same way the Nobodies did when they were defeated. That probably means it was some sort of a Nobody.

Well the dusted up keyblades of sora, riku, and mickey told me that it had to be in the future but of i could be wrong. COULD BE :D

If the giant dragon was a nobody then that means that their is still nobodies in the future ( if it is the future). If that is the case then why did the nobodies disappear when you defeat Xemnas in the end of the game? I thought that that all the nobodies died out when he was killed I don't know why it just seemed that way.

The Nobodies were under Organization XIII's control. I think that meant that when Xemnas died, then all the Nobodies went with him (as all of the Organization was defeated). But what should've happened was the Nobodies still existed with no hope. They relied on Xemnas to get hearts for them, which he partially succeeded to do in the World That Never Was.

What that all comes down to is, I'm not sure whether all of the Nobodies are gone or not lol.

Well that does make sense, There had to be nobodies before the Organization. I don't know why I thought that, sometimes I don't think things all the way. Well thanks for clearing that up for me.

It might belong to Marluxia that huge thing he uses or that Xemnas thing or something intirely different.

He is already dead thou with the rest of the Organization except for Roxas of course.

I can't remember the exact details, but Roxas' physical form was still destroyed. He was digitized in a digitized Twilight Town as Ansem the Wise explained.

I think he also quit the Organization anyway, even though he was the newest member lol.

True! The only reason I was thinking that was because he was still apart of Sora even if his body was destroyed.

Yup lol. Riku points out he is with Sora in his heart.

ok this is probly going to sound stupid but im going to say it anyway.

i think its an alternate universe, one that ties all the keyblade bearers together, which kinda explains all the keyblades in one place.

it is where the keys originate and where they return to after a universe has been cleared of the immediate threat of darkness from heartless and nobodies. sora's and riku's keyblades are not shown at any point after xenmas is defeated, so they have returned to this keyblade universe.

the reason that the nobodies leave with xemnas is because when xemnas is killed, the kingdom hearts he created (which was damaged by ansem), collapsed, and nobodies have nowhere left to draw their power from.

The keyblades appear during the secret movie, so accoding to this theory it is set in present time.
if anyone sees any problems with this theory, please point them out, so i have a chance to fix them.

Doubtful but still a valid theory. Nobodies didn't draw their power from Kingdom Hearts, but from stolen hearts being unlocked from Heartless by Keyblades. Nobodies wanted Kingdom Hearts to give them hearts. The Organization controlled the Nobodies who followed because Xemnas could apparently control Kingdom Hearts and so after the Organization was destroyed I think the Nobodies had no hope of gaining hearts and had no reason to go on. Something like that.

What should've happened was that they still existed with no hope rather than being destroyed.

A Nobody is created when a Heartless is created or when a Heartless with a stolen hearts is destroyed.

yeah that sounds rite, but they want hearts more than anything, they wouldnt just give up.

Exactly, which is why they should still exist after the Organization was defeated.

but, if the nobodies when killed dont dissappear, but simply go to another place (which is likely, because how do u kill something without a heart?), then the other nobodies may have followed their leader.

then one question reamains who is the leader of the nobodies now.

well if they were able to follow xenahort (perhaps by sacrificing themselves) then it would still be him. If not, then they would most likely pick the next strongest, evil nobody.

hmm maby another twilight thorn but even stronger.

nah, i dont think so, choosing a menacing human character is better, means it has the compacity to create plans, and therefore a more interesting story line. twilight thorn was a good character tho, and there should be a miniature version of it that spawns now and then.
