Hmm, if they were put inside his Nobody - Xemnas - then they'd've gone when Xemnas was destroyed. Naminé controlled Sora's memories.

Although....

She could have controlled Xehanort's (as Ansem) memories for the short time she existed before Xehanort died - but I kinda doubt it lol. If it was the case though, it would mean that Naminé had drawings somewhere of Xehanort's memories.

At the Begining of each Game Sora was Asleep. and Sora got the Keyblade while Sleeping. so maybe thats what it means?

We all know how both the games started by sleep then pick the power of strenght defense or magic so could the kh3 started like that with a different character . Since sora been through that already also this nobody. So who next.

Those are my thought exactly. I think "Birth by sleep" refers to the birth of a Nobody, since the original person is more or less put to sleep.
