POKEMON: A WHOLE NEW JOURNEY


In the land of Reagal, losing is not an option. The gym leaders are fierce. The Elite Four is monstrous. Even the trainers are stronger. Losing a battle means losing your rep, and in Reagal, your rep is your most valuable tool. A fearless crime syndicate, Team Aeon, preys on worthless trainers who have the lowest reps. Their mission: To rid the world of worthless trainers. Now Jenah has been unleashed in Reagal, a beautiful, industrial region where green lands are very rare, and she's out to win. Back in her region of Sinnoh, she didn't KNOW the meaning of losing. But this region is about to surprise her. Could this all star trainer be so easily beaten in a beautiful new land?

When a large shadow passes over Reagal, the citizens are terrified. Of course, the brave trainers from Reagal all decide to check out teh shadow. The problem is, none of them return...

RULES
1. No legendary pokemon. Yet. Without my permission.
2. At the beginning, only normal stage 1 pokemon (IE, no fully evolved ones)
3. No cursing (except damn, hell, and the occasional ass)
4. No god modding. Thats lame.
5. No one liners (most of these rules are basic rules)
6. Can you try to have NORMAL names? Not names like "Tikkitouku Vengemore" and things like that. Why cant you people have names like JAKE or ANTHONY or something lol :rolleyes:

Background: Jenah came from the Sinnoh region to Reagal so she could become the strongest trainer in the world. After fighting through the 8 Sinnoh gyms and fighting the elite four, she decided that she needed a new challenge. Her old pokemon from SInnoh would have been an advantage for her in Reagal, or so she thought, so she left all her pokemon with her uncle, Professor Rowan, and caught two beginning pokemon to start her new journey in Reagal. Of course, though, she kept her togepi. It had been her very first pokemon and she hadnt bothered to train it because she was scared what might happen to it. But now in Reagal, she's prepared to give it all she's got. When she arrived, she was shocked to find out how amazingly strong the trainers of this region were. Although she lost her very first battle in the region, she has officially set her mind on becoming the best. She's strategized her team to be perfectly dynamic and balanced and she's convinced that nobody can beat her.

Although he enjoys battling and being the #1 Pokemon trainer, his true ambition is to be the best contest participant out there. Basically, his goal is to succeed in everything he competes in. Though he only recently became a Pokemon trainer, he's ready to give it everything he's got in order to win.

Jenah walked off the route connecting Sinnoh to Reagal and smiled. "Im finally here!" She looked to teh horizon and saw humongous, futuristic skyscrapers rising out of the earth. She looked down at the Togepi she had in her arms. "Are we ready for this Togepi? Are we ready for this wonderous new land?"

"Go, Shock! Tackle!" Jake yells. Mareep starts dashing towards another Pokemon, Raticate. The attack does critical damage.
"Raticate! Use Super Fang!" Shouts the trainer opposite him. The Raticate starts dashing towards Marrep, but Mareep dodges.
"Now use Thundershock!" Jake calls, then static surrounds Mareep. All of a sudden, a bolt of lightning struck Raticate. It fainted.
"Cheyeah! Another win!" Jake bends down and pets Mareep.
"Way to go, Shock. Return." Jake pulls out a pokeball and it shoots a red beam from it, and Mareep disappears inside of it.

"Come on charmander." Tai says as he and Charmander are walking. He sees a boy battling. <OMG! he is awsome> He said in his head.

Jenah hears battle cries ahead and smiles once again. "Maybe I'll have my first fight sooner than i expected. The trainers cant be that experienced here. I'll have them beat in not time."
As she walked forward, she saw what she had heard earlier. A boy with a Mareep and it looked like he had just defeated anotehr trainer. Further on was anotehr boy, admiring the first one.

Jenah spoke: "HEY! Ill challenge either one of you two to a fight! Id like to see someone beat me!"She yelled in cocky voice.

<Piplup is weak against electric attacks, so it was out. Togepi has never been trained, so she's too weak. But Misdreavus is a ghost type...Mareep used thundershock alot and thundershock is a physical attack. Ghost types arent hit with physical attacks. Perfect.>

"Go Misdreavus!"
Jenah yelled and she faced the trainer.

Tai sees a girl coming this way. The charmander lets out a yelp. "whats the matter, buddy?" Tai says as he pets the charmander.

"Where'd it go!?" Jake said, shocked.
"Uhm... Shock, use Thundershock all over the place, maybe you'll get lucky." Mareep unleashes multiple bolts of lighning, hoping on would land it's target.
"Shnoooooooo!" Mareep yelps, unleashing a powerful bolt, landing perfectly on Misdreavus.

"I knwo this is a weird question, but im heading into Aquafin City now and i dont knwo anyoen in this region. Woudl you liek to accompany me?"

But at that moment, Togepi started waving its arms and Jenah and Jake appeared at the entrance to Aquafin city, the beautiful, blue themed city Jenah had seen earlier. She looked back to see the otehr two boys but they were too far away. She turned to jake. "Well, uhm hi!"

"I suppose I'll leave you two alone, then...," Lucas said, then quietly tiptoed away from the two and towards the Flaaffy, following the two trainers, Jake and Jenah. He'd never seen an evolution in progress, nor had he ever seen a Flaaffy before. "Hey, I saw you evolve this Flaaffy just a minute ago," Lucas said in a louder tone. "How'd you do it? If you tell me your secret, maybe my Pokemon could evolve, too! I'm kind of new to the whole Pokemon thing..."

Lucas sighed, then slowly began to walk away as he noticed that he was being ignored. He took another look at the Flaaffy, then grinned. He was used to being ignored, so it didn't really hurt him too much.

"Good luck raising your new Flaaffy," Lucas said, being almost 100% that he was still being ignored.

"Anyway, girl, however you are, I plan on going to the next city, if you have any sense you'll head there as well." Sai said as he then took off running to the next city.

Tai had a cute face on. Charmandar knew what was going on so he closed his eyes. "My parents could care less.." Tai said staring at jake.

Suddenly, the cloud had dispersed and the cloud molicules became one solid entity. A large, black figure with one eye in the middle of it's head. The creature looked directly at her and extended it's large hand to grab her. Just as the hand was about to grab her, and possibly destroy her, she woke up.

Jenah looked up and didnt see Jake, Tai, Sai, OR Lucas anywhere. She sighed. "I knew they'd leave me...I guess it's just you and me Togepi." Jenah brightened up a little, "Hey, TAHT RHYMED!" bic: Cynda fell down on the ground and stood up trying to fight tge rain and its fire disappeared, and then it started running at Piplup. "Use headbutt!" Then Cynda hit Piplup in the head and then Cynda fell back on the ground and fainted. "Cynda!"

"Alright, guys, look for the Poke-Snatcher!" Lucas ordered his Pokemon. And with that, Chimchar, Gible, and Bronzor searched the area and found the one responsible. "Team Aeon! I should have known! I've heard of you scumbags before! You won't get away!" Lucas had a serious look on his face.

Jenah was too shocked to do anything. The famous Sinnoh Champion was speechless. The other Aeon Member turned to her. He let out a pokemon she had never seen before. A small, fluffy white furball with black fur over his eyes, hands (which had claws on them) and feet. "Go Niclaw!" The Aeon member growled and the Niclaw lunged at Jenah. Togepi jumped out of Jenah arms and used sucker punch to hit the Niclaw. The sucker punch was a critical hit. The baby niclaw flew back to the Team Aeon member and fainted.

Lucas gasped at the black/white puff ball. He hadn't ever seen a Pokemon such as this one. Such rarity... what was it?

"What the...?" Lucas thought. "What the heck is that thing!?" he shouted out loud. "That thing has got to be artificial! I've never seen anything like it before!"

"Togetic, the Happiness Pokemon," the PokeDex said. "It is said to be a Pokemon that brings good fortune. When it spots someone who is pure of heart, it appears and shares it's happiness with that person."

"Wow...," Lucas said. "Congratulations, Jenah." Lucas grinned. "Soon enough, I'm going to be the one with an evolved Pokemon!" He turned towards Jenah. "Now, put that Togetic to good use and get rid of Team Aeon!"

Togetic flew high above the battelfield and shot down humongous bursts of wind at the Aeon members. The entrie team was blown away. (looks like their blasting off again lol)

Jenah smiled up at Togetic and looked at Sai. "Now do you believe me."

"Hm. Lets go! Use hypnosis!" Gastly used the attack, causing all of the Pokemon on Team Aeon to pass out.
"Night Shade, Demon!" All of a sudden, it went black, then some of the opposing Pokemon yelped.

"Okay, then. Gaslty, use Night Shade on it!" Gastly attacked.

"Alright! Way to go Demon!" Jake fondeled with his backpack and reached out a pokeball. He threw it.
"C'mon..." Jake was anticipating his new capture. It was moving back and forth... Then, sure enough...
"Ding." Shroomish was caught.

Piplup used the shroud that the bubblebeam being popped my shadow ball made as cover. While Poochyena was blinded by the smoke, Piplup flew out of the smoke and shot a bubblebeam directly into Poochyenas face. Piplup then used teh energy from teh attack as leverage and flew lightining speed back to Jenah.

Lucas looked as the battle raged on. He had a feeling he knew was going to win, but had to wait and see if his prediction would come true.

"It looks like Jenah's got this battle wrapped up," Lucas said to himself. "But then again, Sai is a good trainer. You never know what to expect from someone next."

"Hm... Spore!" The Shroomish gave a big smile.
"Okay, that's it. Your name will be Spore." Jake smiled.

Lucas sighed in relief. He was glad that Sai had saw that he was pushing Poochyena too hard. It definitely deserved a nice, long rest after that fierce and intense battle, and it was apparently trying it's hardest not to disappoint it's trainer.

"You've got a strong and persistant Pokemon, Sai," Lucas said calmly. "You've raised it well. I can tell." He then turned towards Jenah. "Would you like to go along with our battle, or would you prefer to rest a bit instead?" Lucas asked.

"I think as long as you keep confident and believe you can win, you'll win. Besides, a trainer can't always win every battle, as I witnessed when I first saw you battling. Just believe in yourself, and anything can happen." Sai said answering Jenah's question.

"Of course I think you're ready!" Lucas exclaimed. "You are, after all, the Sinnoh Champion! I know you're ready. You just need to have confidence in yourself, that's all. Aquafin City - First Gym
Aqualot Forest - Fill with underground lakes and caverns. Only grass type inhabit the surface.

Futura City - VERY high tech city. Has the Regions Power Plant
Futura Power Plant - made up of only electric pokemon

Romora Town - One of the very few towns in Reagal. The regions most prodigious trainer is said to have come from there.
Underground Shaft - A supposedly haunted mine shaft. No one has ever been to the end and back.
