Japan

358/2 Days- Summer of 2008
Coded- Fall of 2008 or late 2008
Birth by Sleep- Winter or Spring of 2009
Kingdom Hearts III- Spring or Summer of 2009

Europe and America

358/2 Days- Fall of 2008
Coded- Early 2009
Birth by Sleep- Spring or Summer of 2009
Kingdom Hearts III- Fall of 2009 or Winter of 2010

With all due respect, your KHIII prediction is definitely WAY off. Here are my predictions:

KH 358/2 Days: JP-Summer '08, US-Fall '08/Winter '09, EU-Spring '09

-From what I've heard, I think they are almost in post-production with Days. Hopefully, my prediction is right.

KH coded: JP-Fall '08/Winter '09

-There may not be a release outside of Japan so I only predicted a Japanese release date.

KH: Birth By Sleep: JP-Spring/Summer '09, US-Summer/Fall '09, EU-Fall '09/Winter '10

-They should finish development on BBS late this year so they can get ready to release it next year.

KHIII: JP-Fall'11/Winter '12, US-Winter '12/Spring '12, EU-Spring '12/Summer '12

-They will develop KHIII after they finish Final Fantasy VS XIII. Hopefully, they will finish development of it this year or maybe they will start developing KHIII while Vs XIII is in post-production. Also, keep in mind that it will take longer to develop KHIII than it did to develop KHI and II because it takes much longer to make games for the PS3. KHIII might take at least a year and a half to develop.

I think BBS will come out like near the end of the year. for 358/2 it will prolly come out next year. and then Kingdom hearts 3 may come out a year after Final Fantasy XIII Verses. Thats my prediction there haha

Yes, it is, but I am just using logic. The PS3 is supposedly the system it will come out on. Of course, it could come out on the Wii, but there is 90% chance that it will come out for the PS3 as hinted by Nomura. Like I said, it takes approximately 1.5 to 2 years to program a game for the PS3 because the process is long and tedious and game developers have even said that. So my logic is this; They have stated they will not work on another major KH project until they finish development on Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Right now, it looks like they will most likely be done with the game early next year. Then KH3 will start development afterwards and take 2 years to develop. They will probably be finished developing the game in 2011 so the release might be in late 2011 or in 2012. lionsbarrage, I know it is a long time, but KH3 is not coming out anytime soon. We should get an announcement about the game next year or 2010, but don't expect it to come out so soon. At this point, we are looking at a 3-4 year wait.

Well, it doesn't take a very long time to make a DS game or any portable game for that matter. I think it takes a little over a year, but that usually depends on the game and what system it is being made for. 358/2 Days began development last year I think so they should be done with it by Summer. As for KH3, people shouldn't expect it until 2011 or 2012 at the latest.

LOL. Yeah, I had the same reaction when I realized this. The good thing is they will put their all into developing this game and it will turn out great. Oh, and Valitrex, remember that they will not start developing KH3 until they are done with Final Fantasy Versus XIII. I think they will be done developing that by mid-2009.

by the way, what's the difference between Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII?

Both games have completely different characters and gameplay. FFXIII is supposedly going to have a real-time battle system while Versus will have gameplay similar to Kingdom Hearts and it will be an Action RPG. What these games have in common, however, is that the characters are fighting to destroy the same enemy. Even though we won't get KH3 for awhile, I am looking forward to Versus XIII especially since it will have KH gameplay. These games are part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII series which will last about 10 years.

I agree with this. All the KH fans are anxiously waiting to play the new KH games and KH3 especially, but as fans we need to give the team our respect and our patience. We may be waiting a long time for KH3, but I know it will be worth it.

It's been confirmed that 358/2 Days will be released this year. BBS will most likely be released next year.

Again, I doubt it. It won't start development until maybe next year or possibly 2010 and it will take 2 years to develop. 2010 seems a little too early.

Hmm, how would the team fit the time into making this game when they have so much other stuff going on in the present and not-so-distant future? Right now, their main priority isn't working on Kingdom Hearts 3...kind of obvious that we'll be waiting quite a while for this one. 2009 is waaaaaay too soon. Add a couple more years onto that, and then you will have a more reasonable target date.

Actually, we do know for sure. Considering that the KH team is working on Versus XII at the moment, and that wont be released untill probably late 09. I dont see them being able to pump out a brand new game from scratch in a couple months.

For some reason ALOT :AH: of people think the Kingdom Hearts 3 and 358/2 are coming out in 2012?? How wrong is that?? That is completely false. The official release date won't come out till the beginning or middle of 09 and then it will be released at late 09 or early 2010. 358/2 will come out maybe a year later. also what is kh BBS, the article never mentioned that...
