Pardon me if this thread has been made before, but what do you all think: will the next game focus on memories or souls? Other than hearts, I mean. I was just thinking that the 'memory of Xehanort' thing is rather intriguing and that Maleficent came back after the fairies remembered her. Just wondering what you all thought. :)

I think if the consantrated on Memories it would be much better.
Memories has a better ring to it than Souls.

I wouldn't be surprised if they include both to some extent. :) Although memories have always played a part in Kingdom Hearts whereas souls haven't as much.

I think that they talked more about memories in KH: COM.... and know I think that they'll want to go more in the soul category.... but I bet that make references about memories...

Yeah, I was thinking memories, personally. They have been used more in the series than souls.

in fact if you the ansem report journals xehanrot could not remember who he is when he arrived at radiant gardens. So could be trying to regain his memories.
yes it would and i also think if they want to end the series they would go with memories so that they would show what happened to xehanort before he got to radiant garden and if they want it longer it would go with soul

I dont think I heard the word soul in Kingdom Hearts that much.
they didn't talk about body until kh2 either so we don't know until kh3

Nobodies have memories, and memories live on past their owner. Connect the dots.

A soul is an abstract and controversial thing. Memories are a difficult subject to handle as well.
A soul is made up in general of three components. The Heart [ Emotions. Love, hate, lust, greed, humility ], The Mind [ Your intelligence, your memories ] and Release [ release from the restraint of ones body. A body is the physical in-life substance that holds these two. The release makes it a soul. ]

Look, if you wont connect the dots, I will. Look, in KH2, when the 3 good faries remember Malificent, she comes back. That memory lived on and revived its master. Could our appy nobody friends do that? If so, could Xehornort (please excuse spelling if wrong) do the same thing?

He may, he may not be able to. If that is the case, we will get information about it soon. Please don't be cruel, though. We are thinking and theorizing as well, but we may not choose to type it here. I'm sure that everyone (look at the post that started this thread and see what I said in it) has thought of the situation with Maleficent and the three fairies, so it really isn't connecting the dots anymore. It's a fifty-fifty shot and you know about as much as the rest of us, so please do not do that again, if you will.
And, Twilight's Bane, please don't double/triple post thanks. ;)

In KH2, when Malificent is re-born because the 3 god faries in the tower in Twilight Town remember her. I cant remember their names, but the ones that give Sora his new clothes. Understand?

Go. Look. At. The. First. Post. I said that there. Flora, Fauna, and Merriweather bring her back by remembering her. I said that there. Like I told you before. In my last post, actually.

Are we all clear on my theory now?
EDIT: also, I just started to re-play the hard mode of KH2, and I notecd something; when you see Yen Sid for the only time, and he shows you the book, when you read "the future story" section of it, it talks about memories, I kinda went fast through it andmissed most of it. That one word caught my eyes though. Maybe theres something there that we could learn from.

Hun, that is a lot of people's 'theory'. And the book isn't all that new. Each section has something about trusting your memory. "When the hand that was held to you" and all that? Yeah. That was why I said to go look at other posts.
