No General Forums

Now im sure since you've joined these forums u origanaly joined to talk about kingdom hearts but aparentally i was wrong. The General Forums have absolutely
took over this website, more people look at the general forums then any of the other forums combined, and on that note i ask " What would this site be like without general forum?". I ask this because i used to come onto this site everyday (and that was a problem to some people) but over the last month or so it seemed like this site isnt even a kingdom hearts website anymore. All of the threads are web familys, general chat, or games that have nothing to do with kingdom hearts. I recently made a thread called "the keyblade lords" which was a web family but got really unpopular really quick but that was prolly the most a web family had to do with kingdom hearts in a long time. Now i only come online once a day and for only like 5 minutes for GT.

Theres another reason id like to clear up, what do these jobs have to do with kingdom hearts? Rpg is usually naruto or some kind of anime, Et is is for events that are usually for sigs and stuff, newspaper is just random stuff, and GT greets people to the forums. I think the only jobs alot of us need are the mods since they watch over us. But to get back to the point what does any of this have to with kingdom hearts? Its the with other video games, because if one person isnt on the general forum then they're on the other video games section. What im really saying is this site isnt even about kingdom hearts anymore.

Like i said before more then half the people who are online go onto the general forums and the rest go on other video games, but dont u guys remember kh1? the revolution that started this tremendous series?, or CoM? the revolution of kh that was the first handheld game? or kh2? the most recent and one of the best selling games on the ps2? I know i do, and i know that i would rather talk about kingdom hearts then talk about stupid stuff in web familys any day. I know alot of u disagree with me and hopefully some of u do agree with me but the fact of the matter is General Forum is taking over this website and im sick of it.

You really cant call this a kingdom hearts site if the majority of the people dont talk about kingdom hearts now can you? I think this a reasonable debate and hopefully some of u people will remember how great of a game kingdom hearts is. Talking to friends about random stuff can be done on myspace or aim etc..... but the question is what i said once and ill say it again. " What would these forums be without the General Forums".

I get you that the general boards are becoming more popular...

BUT if you look at the posts there you will find that only like the same people post there. And most of the time, people go to the general boards then do KH stuff and whatever.

Now, the Jobs here don't absolutely revolve around KH but I think they are still a big part of the forums..

With out the General Forums, I probably wouldn't be on AS much. =\

but if ur hear to talk about kh then why do u need a section about somthing that has nothing to do with it? as for kh rpg's i would accept those because u are talking about kh and not naruto or pokemon. the web families to me are useless

-General Chat: I don't think this is necessary because your only posting stuff that could be at the bottom of the General Forum >.>

-Introductions: I find it neccessary. Because people can say hellos and what not.
-Anime Board: It's good to talk about other shows and stuff. (Plus Kain loves this section)
-Artwork Section: Good for the Artists and if people want signatures
-RPG: People like to Role play, and they can get tired of KH games FYI.
Personal Section: Important so people can talk about personal feelings..
Web Families: I like this, so it can help for members to get friends
Games: Fun for people to do random things
Fanfic Section: SO people can write stories, and no they don't have to be about KH.

none of these sections have to do anything with KH, and it is good to get away from KH every now and again.

This IS a Kingdom Hearts site. Having other topics has nothing to do with it not being a kingdom hearts site. We have more kingdom hearts related sections than we do for the general forums. We're not going to take it away either.

i dont go on general forums, but when i go onto the kh1 section and see that there hasnt been a post in like 2 days then i see how much general forums takes over

I am mainly a guy who looks more on KH forums now, becuase basically, all the noobs are around those sections spamming them.

What i find ironic is that fact that this meaningful topic was created on the general board, lulz XD

Anyway. If you look around, almost every forum on this tinternet has a general or off-topic board. Those that don't suck tbh >_<. But the thing is a forum is a place for discussion on certain topics. This may be a Kingdom Hearts board but people do not always come here for the main purpose of discussing KH. People come ehre to make new friends, and discuss different things apart from KH. We also like a bit of games y'know, just to have a general laugh about things and have some FUN. Because what's the point in joining a forum and not having fun? You might as well be doing something else with your time.

The General Forums is the main reason I log on every day. I mean, I'll occasionally go on the Other Video Games forum. Sometimes, if I'm bored, I'll go on a few of the Kingdom Hearts forums and see what members have to say about it. Usually, though, I like spending my time in the General Forum where all my friends usually are.

It's a KH site, but just talking about Kingdom Hearts gets a little old. With people coming on, it's natural that people want to talk to other people without it being in the conversation oh "OMG SORA IS SO AWESOME!!!!1! LOLOLZ". People just want to talk, or talk about their interest, it's their choice if they want to talk about Kingdom Hearts, and if you look at it from the perspective of, Is there anything else really left to talk about Kingdom Hearts? Ok, new games, cool. Ok, KH3, cool. There's nothing left to talk about, and as I previously stated, it gets old.

indeed. I would rather be able to talk about other things other than kh sometimes, KH gets boring after awhile, that is, if you don't play it! ;)

and it doesn't matter if the site will become more unpopular without a general forum, it's here to help the people of the forum get things out of their system. a site without a general forum wouldn't do that.

Pretty much everything has been talked about for Kingdom Hearts. I give it a rest so I can talk about other things.

Most other forums you go too will have the same basic set up of having some general area to talk about other stuff then what the forum is about.

Don't get me wrong though. I am still a Kingdom Heart fan.
