So, often, people assossiate Good with Light and Dark with Evil. This sits wrongly with me, my views on the situation are entirely different.

So, I propose this question: Can good be Dark and Evil Light?

Your opinions I will like to hear.

Thank you!

Light actully can be used for evil. Too much of it can be just as bad as Dark Evil. And sometimes, people need Darkness to blance the Light, but too much of it can be bad aswell. My answer is yes.

This argument probably won't come out right, but... I think it depends on each person, the situation in question, and how they see the world. It can also be a "too much of a good thing" issue. Again, it all depends. But one thing must be remembered; without light, we don't have darkness. We need one to compare the other to.

Take, for example, an overprotective parent. They shelter their child. Shield them from the truth about sex, love, life, friends, and reality in general. They do everything to ensure the child is never upset. While the parent may think that they're doing their child a favor, what they are doing is keeping the child from building experience and living real life, and also, in many cases, spoiling the child. How can the child grow if they aren't allowed to make mistakes and learn from them? The parents' light blinded the child to the harsh truth of the world, and the child ends up worse off because of it.

Bright light blinds. Deep darkness blinds. Too much light may just cast greater shadows than the dark ever did.

Actually that is a good way of saying it.

Light will always be the good side and Dark will always be the evil side but that does not mean we need to shield ourselves away from the Dark. If we do that then we would end up not being able to protect ourselves from it.

It is pretty much like the movie Carrie with her mom. She went off the deep end and what she thought in her twisted mind she was doing was good really was turn it into something evil.

I am just saying you have to be careful what you picture is Light and what you picture is Evil. Part of it has to do with point of view. I am not saying all things that are Good and Evil are from just one person but some of them are.

What you think is good could be evil and what you think is evil could be good.
