Okay. Listen guys. Softball is way much harder than baseball. Softball is a pitchers sport but baseball is a hitters sport. You have to agree. I am on a travel team and i am the starter pitcher. I don't think i have worked out so hard in my life. And someguys think that a softball is soft. WHOA. No. It is not soft. It is a lot harder than a baseball. Well that is my opinion.
What do you think??

Thats what a lot of people say. But when you play it, it is a whole different story. But yeah thats what you think if you hear the topic. Not to be rude. :))

ive played baseball my whole life but barely ever played real softball. its basically another boys vs. girls thing i guess. also the size of the ball makes it alot easier to get ur eye on and hit. not to mention college softball players can only pitch at what a little leauge baseball player can throw which is anywhere from 65-71 mph at most. while the college players can throw wt a major leauge level which can anywhere from 90-100 mph at most.
i dont think u really can debate much on this since there is so many differences between the 2 sports. but all in all i have to say baseball is harder the softball.

This is kind of a silly thread. Of course you are going to be biased because you play softball
And sorry, but Baseball has much more of a pitching aspect than Softball. Pitching in the Majors is much more strategic than in high end Softball.

No, thats not how its calculated. Softball pitchers are pitching from a little league mound, but are throwing much harder than a average little leaguer, so its calcualted as a major mound. So it ends up, they are really throwing in the hundreds like a major league pitcher is throwing from a major league mound.

Well heres my real opinion on it, The reason why is called softball is not that the ball is softer, (trust me I've been hit by both, but I would still say a baseball hurts more), Its because the size of the ball decreases speed and makes it a bigger target, in the end making softball easier.
