Over 25,000 years ago, before the Rebellion, before the Jedi Civil War, even before the Mandalorian War, there was peace. The powerful Force was still used, but it went by another name.
Three orders existed, the Paladins of Chatos, the Followers of Palawa and the Mystic order of Dai Bendu. The power of the Light, the Ashla, influenced the world to do good, and aided the people in healing. The dark power of the Shaa, however, influenced the people to do great evils, and aided them by giving them the power of destruction.
Those who fell under the influence of the Shaa were the Palawa. Using the dark power, they lead a surprise attack against the Mystic Order of Dai Bendu, and annihilated them completely. The massacre lasted only a week. In the end, it only proved the darkness and corruption that power could cause.
Seeing this, the Paladins of Chatos rose up to defend themselves. They would not fall so easily. The conflict that ensued was soon known as the Force Wars.

Rules:
1. My Rp, my rules. If you don’t abide to them, you will be kicked.
2. KH2_FS, Shikamaruxxx, and Xikru are Demi-Gods, they hold all the power I do, so listen to them.
3. All standard Rp and site rules apply.
4. No GMing (Godmodding)
5. We reserve the right to GM if players are being unfair or for plot development.
6. We reserve the right to change or modify rules, though we will tell you.

Basic stuff you need to know before starting:
1. At this time in star wars history the lightsaber had not yet been invented. Blasters were still in the early stages of development and were large and clunky, having a power pack that needed to be carried on the back. Projectile weapons had been invented, but they were also very primitive, single shot devices. Think of guns from around the late 1700s. you get the idea.
2. It was not until after the force wars that the "Light" and "dark" sides of the force were established, so both sides used "Light" and "dark" powers. its not like the good guys only used light abilities while the bad guys only used dark. just wanted to tell you that.
3. The weapons used by the palawa and paladins of chatos were swords, spears, bows and things like that. There was a ceremony known as the "force forge" where they would channel the ashla into their blades sharpening them to an almost supernatural sharpness, and sometimes charging them with special force powers.
4. There are no jedi or sith. do not mention them. do not mention the light side or the dark side. they dont exist either.
5. This rpg is taking place mainly on the planet Dantooine. It will be the main battlegrounds for this rpg. Some characters may go off planet for story related reasons, but dantooine will be the central point. For those of you who dont know, dantooine is a planet very much like earth. that should make it easy for you to get an idea of where you are fighting.
6. Post Shaa next to Ashla on your template to show you read this.
7. Not many races were force wielders at this time, so i am going to ask that all rpg characters be human. if you would like to be another race pm me or post here and ask.

History: Leshrec, on a pilgramage to a holy site, was gone the week of the Massacre of his order. He returned to the place, to see the devistated ruins. After a day of mourning, he left, seeking who had done this to his beloved order.

Force powers: Strong connection to living things, he is able to speak to any creature or make any living (non sentient) thing obey his commands. He is also able to create and manipulate light in any form.
Weapon(s): He carries a long sword about 6 feet long and about 2 feet wide. It is extremely light and easy to wield and its surface color can be changed to reflect light for his light based attacks or to be completely black.

History: Before the massacre, Xairin was happy. He had a good life. But now when you speak to him his face is downcast, he is sad. But mention the followers of palawa and his eyes will be lit up in rightous fury. He swears he will lead his paladins to victory and destroy the palawa at any cost. He will not allow any more unnessecary deaths.

Raidos gazed across the battlefield, his darkness sweeping over it. It would be a long battle, but the Dark Army that Riados commanded would previal. As always, Riados knew how the Palidins would attack. It would be an easy win.

"Awaken...and destroy." He raised his hand, and the darkness around him swirled. His army appeared from the darkness, and walked forward. "Go..."

Xairin stood on a hilltop. He sighed. "We cannot win this battle." The force spirit of his long dead master hovered in front of him. "What should I do?" The masters spirit leaned forward and whispered something in Xairind ear. "Right." Xairin said, looking down at the battle. "That is what I must do." The force spirit vaished and Xairin ran forward, throwing himself into the chaos of battle.

Riados laughed as he saw his opponent, the one who was named Xairin, jump into the fray. They have become desperate.

Four warriors surrounded Xairin instantly, their darkened blades ready to strike the man down. The first one lurched forward with a quick stab.

Light. Pure untouched light. A flash of light and it formed itself into physical form, blinding the enemy warriors instantly as it formed into blades on all sides, floating around Xairin as he ran, slashing at any enemy warrior that dared get close to him. "I dont have time to fight all of you." He said, running toward riados. "I have another I need to battle."

Riados smiled, "So...you wish to kill me then?" His blade appeared in his hand in a surge of pure darkness. Several of his own men stared at the blade, and some of them quickly looked away.

The ones who stared were already dead.

Xairins blade began to glow brightly, reflecting the light like a mirror, only a thousand times stronger. "RRRRAAAAAA!!!!!" He screamed, jumping at Riados, still surrounded by the blades of light.

Riados leapt forward. Everything seemed to freeze. Xairin felt something move beside him, and a faint chuckle in his ear, followed by the words, "I win..." When Xairin looked where Riados was, he was gone. A large gash had appeared across his chest, and the blades around him were cracked.

"Erg..." He fell to his knees, clutching his chest. "How... how did you..." Blood flowed down his robes. "Erg..." He shuddered and fell to the ground.

"Meh...too weak." Riados turned, and walked over to Xairin. "You were far to weak..." He smiled, and stepped on Xairin's neck, increasing the pressure.

Xairin smiled slightly as the air was choked out of him. A small plant grew out of the ground, unnoticed by riados, one of its thorns grew out and just slightly pricked riados's leg, drawing blood.

Riados smirked, and snuffed the plant out with darkness. "Tell you what. I'll give you a fighting chance. I'll give you three...no, make it six days to train and gather an army." He released his foot. "If you attack, that's the end of the deal."

"Very well." Xairin said, getting up. He pulled a vial out of his pocket. "By the way, here's the antidote for the poison that plant injected into your bloodstream. You have about thirty seconds to use it before the poison kills you."

"The Power of the Shaa is more powerful than you think." He pulled out his own vile, and drank it. He had known.

"Don't underestimate the ashla. You will be destroyed." He nodded to Riados. "Goodbye." In a brilliant flash of light, Xairin was gone.

Riados laughed. "In the end...it consumes only those who are weak." He laughed as the darkness engulfed him. "In the end...it will destroy you..."

Xairin slammed his hand onto the table. "I wasn't... wasn't strong enough..."

"Sir...it was to be expected. We weren't prepared like last time." The man was old, and he seemed likke he could keel over at any minute. "I beleive we should take up his...offer. He is underestimating us."

"I'm not talking about losing the battle. Im talking about losing to him. He..." He paused, looking down at the floor. "Normally this wouldn't be so bad, but he defeated me so EASILY!" He slammed his fist onto the table and sighed. "I would be dead if he had wanted to kill me... I don't enjoy it when my life lies in the hands of my enemies..."

The man nodded slowly, "I...see. Maybe you underestimated him." The man sighed, "It is time for you to learn...we are not all powerful. Even Riados has his weaknesses."

"I know he has his weakness... but I just don't think I am powerful enough to exploit that weakness... I just don't think I can beat him..."

The man stood up, which was suprising by the looks of his age. "Come with me, please."

Xairin unspeakingly followed, his mind swirling with anxiety.

The man lead him into a room, and he closed the door behind him. "This...this is the room that your master lived in. Look around you..."

Xairin looked around. There, hanging on the wall was His masters armor. And there, next to it, his masters sword. Out of respect for his master those things had remained where thay had been when he died.
"Xairin."
Xairin spun around to see his masters force spirit.
"Xairin, now is the time to fight. You must end this war. Take up my sword and my armor, you are ready to use them."
Xairin stared in awe at the blade and armor on the wall. He stepped closer and reached out to them.

The man smiled, "And so you ascend into the light."

He slipped the armor on and pulled the sword off the wall. "The light..." He swung the sword gently around a couple of times. "What am I supposed to do?"

The ancient man laughed, "Do what you feel is right, and the Ashaa will lead you to greatness." He turned, and walked out of the room. Right before he left, he paused. "I will not be around much longer, I am afriad. The coucil shall have a new member, and I want you to chose him when I am gone."

Leshrec sat in an empty plain, his eyes closed, levitiatign a foot or so off the ground. He was a Grandmaster, and the only surviving member of his order.

He felt the energies around him, drawing to him as much as he drew from them. As a Grandmaster, he knew the (Ashaa?)'s true nature. He knew how it worked, and how to live in symbiosis with it.
