Well it's better than his old reason, "Wanting to test himself" ... He was probably just manipulated by Madara too much, and then the reason "becoming the most powerfull..." and so on seemed good enough!

I know... it just.. that I expected something more Grand and exicting than just... I killed my whole clan just to have a chance to take my eyes before going blind plot of Kishi,...

It just does not sound so real... plus Itachi seams weak now.. I mean before he beated very easly Kakashi and the Ohter Jounins.. now it seams that he is very weak... (even if he used his Moonnight Reader/ Tsukiyomi and has little sight, a shinobi of the S-Class should adapt..)

Plus lately all Sasuke/Itachi do is spam genjutsu and do sneak attacks

Weeell thats because it works. And against Itachi he doesn't really have a choice, seeing as they're both sharingan users! The thing about the sharingan is that all the normal attacks with it are genjutsu, and the sharingan is his only real advantage in most fights!

I guess that my point is that the manga is concentrating too much on Sasuke.. I just want to see Naruto back in action.. plus there is the fact that you see some enemies comment of the Kyuubi over some Kohona nins and they not bat an eyes..

I mean the Kohona 11, sans Sakura, should not know of Naruto's status as a demon container right... yet this is commented and no one acts surpriced by this...
