Some of us have noticed lately that many people are either posting topics or relpying to topics with very little information to support their points.
Replies like:
"Yes, it will happen." or "No, not possable."
These are not very well accepted. In the debate hall, we wish to create entertaining, fun arguments where people post their views and support them.
Let us give an example.
Here is a topic:
There has been a rise in this question lately, so I would like to hear other people's view on the situation: Abortion- Is this an acceptable act or not? Why so you say so?
The following is an example of a BAD responce:
No, abortion is bad because people die.
A more acceptable answer would be:
Abortion is a bad choice, because what if that person growing in the womb was destined for greatness? What gives us the right to kill an innocent life that never did anyone any harm? If the woman does not want the baby, than give it up for adoption afterwards, but don't kill it. Morally, this just is not right.
So, people, we ask that you please think out your reasoning for your position in a debate, and put some thought into your post, so others may better understand you view.
Thank you from us on the Debate Team!
