You see my PS2 works great and I never had any problems with it till recently... and it's really weird... My PS2 works great for all my games except for RPG games.... Which is really bad because I can't play Kingdom hearts! And I have no idea what's wrong with it.... Can someone tell me what's going on...

No and I even checked that a hundred times!!! And plus I just got ff12 and when I just opened it and put in my PS2 it wouldn't work...


What happens is that I'll put the disk in and it'll scan it for like 2 min then I'll say disk read error.... but then I'll open my PS2 again and let it load and it'll work...

But now it won't work at all....

Maybe it has RPGitis.
Seriously though, my friend has kinda the same problem. His PS2 won't play a lot of games. Most of thre games it will play only work if the analogue is on, there's only 1 controller (at the start anyway) and it is either standing up or lying down, it varies from game to game.

I have the old PS2....

And as a matter of fact I just fixed my PS2.... but I wouldn't suggest that anybody do what I did to fix it...

Anyway's sense my playstaion is fixed why doesn't everybody just tell weird stories about their playstation to keep the thread alive... :cool:

My ps2 wont work now neither.but its not just my RPG's its almost all my games .
Its not that it wont read them it dont even try to read them:(

Yeah I heard awile ago that alot of the old PS2's are beggining not to work anymore..

Our old PS2 did something similar so then we just stopped using it. But then one day my brother came home from work with a shiney new one :).

( God, how many times have I mentioned my brother recently? )
