2000 years ago, the calamity fell from the skies. This calamity was named Jenova. No one knows where Jenova came from, or why she came. All that was known was that she wanted to conqure our planet.

The citizens of the planets, the Ancients, did not approve of her designs, and fought against her. Jenova raised Monsters and an army of the few Anceints and other sentient races that wished to join her cause. The Anceints opposed her from there capitol city.

This is their stories. This is the Jenova War.

3) The above mentioned reserve the right to 'god-mod' for plot furtherment and to punish rule breakers.

5) Remember the time period! There are NO computers, NO guns, etc. that there is in FFVII. MEDIEVAL PEOPLE!

Brief Character overview: Nexus seems to be a crazy, insane person. Why he's actually fighting for a good cause is unknown to most. His link to the Ancients and the Jenovans, however, is wide known to be one reason why he's insane.

Armor: Underneath his pants, he wears a lightwieght chain that protects him, and his bandages seem to be made from a powerful substance that protects him from most normal damages. Also, when his claws are formed, they provide a scale-like substance that covers up to about the mid-forarm.
Piercings, tattoos, distinguishing features: He wears a black, daimond shaped necklace. He has dark runes imprited on his back, and said to have them all over his body.

Personality: Nexus is cold, mean, and pretty much evil. His only saving grace is that he has a thing for saving people, especially when they are not armed. Other than that, he's usually snarling at people.

Weaknesses: He can't plan, he's mean, and nobody likes him.

Shane stood in the pouring rain. "They... they won't win. Not this time."
His head commander, Jon Krale stood beside him. "We will drive them back. They'll not have this city."
Shane sighed. "I'm afraid we may lose to them. Their horde far outnumbers us." He watched as the massive army marched toward them. He was ready for battle.

Nexus leaned against a tree, feeling the air. His mind was focused intently on the powers around him. The ground, he could feel, was quaking with fear. The water in a nearby river, he could sense, was shivering with distaste. The air...the air was angry.

"They march forward..." Nexus' rough voice echoed on the wind. "Tell them...the army marches forward." The wind carried his words, letting them fly into the air so that many would hear...

A woman with dark brown hair stood outside of an house that she had just walked out of checking a patient that she had been caring for since he was born.
She sighed as she thought of the young boy inside who had been struggling all his life to even gather enough energy to leave his bed.

Sticking her hand out from under the shelter of the door she decided the rain wouldn’t stop soon and pulled her cloak over her head running through the rain, she stopped when she heard words coming from not that far away,” They march forward".

Shane stood on a hilltop. "Nexus... what are we to do here? They far outnumber us... I fear we will be unable to hold this city..."

Nexus grunted, "You won't...but I can..." He growled, and lunged into the city. "Be back in a moment..."

Shane watched nexus jumped away. "I wonder... if lilite would be able to aid our soldiers..."

Lilite walked to where she already new the battle was taking place stopping at just one of the places she called home to pick up more medical equipment that every one on of her three houses where filled with.
She reason she had these storage houses was so no matter where she was she had supplies only a few miles away.

The woman slowly made her way to the hilltop knowing that the causalities would take awhile to come, but then it would be hours until they stooped.
Soaked to the bone because of the rain her body shivered as Lilite finally stood at the side of Shane not speaking a word.

Nexus tore through the demon's like paper, yet...there were too many to fight. He wouldn't last much longer in the battle. With a quick movement, he slashed through one last demon, and leapt back. "Enough for today..." he dashed back, leading a few stray beasts behind him, right to Shane and Lilite.

Shane jumped behind nexus, his huge blade a blur. The demons were slashed through, and they fell quickly. But one made it past him, and jumped at lilite...

A streaking silver arrow took the beast in the head, blasting it aside with far more power than would ever be found in a normal arrow. The air crackled in the wake of the shaft, and the energy could be traced back to a man standing on a hill well over two-hundred yards away. It was an amazing shot for anyone, unless you happened to know the man standing upon that raised ground.

It was Leon Soulez, Point Scout, Wild Ranger of the Anceints. He was unparalleled in his marksmanship, and proficient with the blade as well. He had learned the art of channeling the Life Stream into his weaponry, offering him massive battle qualities.

The ranger charged down the hill, firing his bow with unbelievable speed and precision.

"Fall back, I got you covered. None will escape my arrows." He said with a cold tone, his voice angered at the approach of the monsters. Another silver arrow manifested in his hand, born of the lifestream, as he put it to the string. Pulling back, he fired, and another arrow appeared in his hand. So fast and fluid were his movements that before the first arrow had ever hit it's target, the sixth was nocked and ready.

Shane jumped back, flying through the air, riding on the power of the lifestream. He landed beside leon. "You have never failed me leon." He said, looking at the vast army marching toward them. "Do you think we will be able to drive them back?"

Smiling, the man set his bow upon his back, and drew forth his fabulous scimitars, and focused. He felt lighter, quicker, stronger. Manifesting the teh Life Stream in his body.

"Remember the battle a few months ago? It was just you and me back then. What, do think a few months has made me that much older?" He chided sarcastically, twirling the weapons in his hands.

Shane smiled. "Yes, thats right old friend. We did take them down." He looked out over the horde. "But these... so many..."

"Leon Soulez...I guess I wont have much work to do today". Lilite smiled watching the Ranger use his weapons expertly, Shane fighting along the side with him.

The woman sighed and looked around the battle ground counting down in her head as she crouched down arranging her medical equipment. ...40. She filled the syringes with luminous green liquid. ...20The liquid starting bubbling violently as Lilite added a pinch of crimson power into the solution and had to hold the syringe at arms length....10.

Shaking her head slowly to get her wet hair out of her face Lilite stood up the syringes in her hand her fingers itching to use them, "5..4...3...2.." Just as she was about to say the last number a cry of pain echoed through her ears right on time. "My first patient".

Shane ran into the battle ahead of lilite. "Feel like a battle lilite?" He asked, slashing away some demons around them. "Because it looks like this one is gonna be epic."

"You just keep killing and I will do my healing and occasionally taking life’s", Lilite replied to Shane with a sarcastic grin sticking a needle into a heart of a beast instantly causing a unnatural beat and high blood pressure, resulting in a quick but horrid death as the inside red blood cells expanded and exploded.
"That’s one down...".

Shane sliced through five beasts with one swing of his blade. "Don't you know any combat magic?"

"Sure yeah, the only practise I get with combat skills is opening a jar of meds". Lilite joked though it was true, she was more dedicated to helping the sick and injured than fighting but to prove herself to Shane but unsheathed her decorative sword holding it in front of her.
She was probably the worse Ancient when it came to physical strength and found in extremely hard to wield such a weapon, she using her height to benefit her Lilite ran at a monster ducking as it swung its claws around making the beast miss and slip forward percing itself with her blade.

Shane smiled, jumping into the air and slashing at three monsters that were attacking lilite. "I still have to watch your back though, just like always."

"Yeah yeah...". Lilite smirked stabbing the ground with the sword abandoning it for her preferred weapon of medical equipment.
She found the luminous green liquid very effective with almost instant death seconds after injecting the solution which gave her time to move to a safe distant of the dieing body.

Shane smiled. "You always were more of a healer than a fighter."

A smirk found Leon's face as he moved, becoming nothing more than a blur of movement, appearing long enough in the ranks of the Demons to slash for a critical wound. His kills hit the dozens, then the score. Soon, he was hard pressed to find a foe, so he sheathed his scimitars, once more taking out his legendary bow.

"Here, little blackies..."

Shane slashed through the ranks of the demons, jumping away from lilite when there were no more near her. He ran past leon, leaping into the swarm of dark creatures. His blade was a blur, slashing through the ranks of the dark warriors. "So far I'm winning by seven kills, leon." He shouted over to his friend. "I guess you're gonna be buying the beers."

With a smirk, he summoned seven arrows, each taking the remaining Demon's in the hear, head, or some other vital organ...

"A tie. That means that it is between Lillite and nexus for drinks...." He said light-heartedly, putting his bow upon his back, into the quiver there. Never did he use those arrows unless he had to. The life stream supplied all he needed.

Shane smiled. "Well, the battle's not over yet!" Although it was very close to over. His valiant soldiers were finishing the fighting, he could sit and rest now. He sat on the ground. "But I think we should call it a tie between you and me."

"Hey the gentlemen always gets the drinks". Lilite pouted stabbing her last syringe into a beast but failed to time how quick this solution would react to this beast.

It gasped for breath its eyes rolling back into his head almost crushing Lilite if she didnt move out of the way a moment later as the demon fell to the ground with a thud.

Shane laughed. "Right. That's always your excuse, lilite."

Turning on the gruff Nexus, Leon smiled.

"Drinks are on you tonight my friend."

Shane laughed. "Yes, and I promise you I will order the most expensive thing the bar has... which is still the only thing the bar has... hell, the bar in this city sucks... how about we go to a different town for drinks?"

"Sounds good to me, but no drinking contest this time please". Lilite smiled looking at them both then regained focus mixing a new batch of the luminous solution, but instead of in syringes she left it in a jar with WARNING FLAMABLE on the side of it.

"Ready to make a boom boys?".

"Let's blow this popsicle stand." Shane said with a grin.

Nexus closed his eyes, This is...stupid. He sighed, "Just make it happen already. I'm bored..." He crossed his arms,a nd opened his eyes. "Do it...now."

"Badda boom." Shane said, gesturing for lilite to throw the jar filled with fluid.

"Don’t get too over excited Next". Lilite sighed adding the last part into the solution.

She sprincled a small amount of Black power, a mixter of Potassium nitrate, charcoal and sulfur. Perfect for a big bang.

Lilite gave the jar a little shake throwing it into the middle of the approaching Demons. "Run" Was the last thing the girl shouted before running in the opposite.
Not just to get away from the explosion, but also so she wouldn’t end up getting covered in burnt flesh.

Shane laughed, running after lilite. "Hope you made it right this time. Last time didn't work."

Leon stood high upon the hill, watching the decending arc of the explosive. With a shrug, he flung his cloak over him at the last minute to dodge all the body parts.

Shane smiled. "Alright... now about that beer you owe us nex..."

Lilite stood up, the explosion had thrown her on to the ground but not injuries had come to her.

"I think that means I beat you all". She smirked picking a small piece of burnt crispy flesh out of her hair flicking it onto the floor.

"Nexus maybe buying, but maybe an extra drink off you all for me". Lilite joked walking to the side of Leon.

Shane laughed. "Yeah. Maybe if we get you drunk enough you'll climb up on the bar and sing like last time."

A sour look crossed Leon's face as he looked among the charred ruins.

"You guys go ahead, I'll catch up..." He said, darting off intot he bodies.

Something had caught his attention. As a ranger, he was in tune with Nature's order... soemthign was... different...


((Okay, guys, he is going to discover the first materia, black and white...you guys go ahead to drink and he will show up with them all crazy lookin))

Lilite laughed rubbing the back of her neck blushing, she only remembered parts of the last time she managed to make them all buy her drinks and ended up having a few too many.
And from the stories they told her it wasn’t something she wanted to repeated.

"Okay Leon, there will be a drink waiting for you courtesy of Nexy". Lilite smiled dragging Nexus and Shane away from the battle grounds waving bye to Leon

Shane followed behind lilite. "Well, we need to find an inn to sleep in for the night... and we should probably get rooms before we drink... innkeepers tend to take advantage of drunk people and charge them more."

((As the race of Anceints, we do not need Materia to use magic. Later in FFVII Materia is the crystilyzed memories of ancients that allow people to use magic.

"aww...that will take too long". Lilite complained folding her arm sighing loudly.
Without letting Shane say another word the young woman took hold of his arms dragging him straight to the nearest pub.
She would of dragged Nexus too if he didn’t seem so cold all there time.

Shane laughed, allowing himself to be dragged along. "You know... you still havent paid me back for the last four drinks i bought you at that last city we were at... or the three drinks i bought you at the city before that... or the seven drinks i bought you at the city before THAT one..."

Leon made his way through the demons, coming upon a strange force, a salidification of life stream, much like his own arrows. Bending, he saw two strange spheres, one of black the other white.

Curious, the Ranger picked up the two objects, studying them closely, before depositing them in his belt pouch, and heading off to find the other three...

"I'll pay you back next time". Lilite sighed rolling her eyes and slowed down as soon as the sound of laughter and the familer smell of alcohol and smoke hit her nose.

"Bingo". She entered the place quickly finding a perfect table in the conner which four chairs around it. "Well better order the most exspensive thing then".

"I told you, i came to this tavern this morning. All they have is ale. Nothing special, just ale. No martinis, no cocktails, not even beers. just plain old ale." Shane said, rolling his eyes.

[DestinyHolder]

"Well take us to a better place then".Lilite said but wasn’t really paying much attention to him, her gaze was more fixed on the atmosphere in the room.
All middle aged men, probably just finished work she guessed she had seen it in almost every city they had been to.

"What, seeing if there's any good looking men to conquest?" Shane said sarcastically, watching lilite scanning the room with her eyes.

[DestinyHolder]

"Hey I'm just checking out who's here " Lilite smirked sitting down at the table removing her white cloak showing off the unique angel wings tattoo that starts on her shoulders disappearing under her shirt ending just at her spine.
"You both better start getting the drinks in, Leon will be wanting one as well when he gets here".

Nexus grunted and got up to get the drinks.

Shane leaned forward and spoke to lilite. "So, how has life been for you? Has everything been okay since... he died?"

[DestinyHolder]

"Yeah...I guess" Lilite answered quietly her silence after it showing that she didn’t really want to talk about him right now.

She sat back in her chair drumming her fingers on the table waiting for Nexus to return who broke the awkward silence between Lilite and Shane.
As soon as a large glass was placed in front of her she was already knocking it back.
She was never a good drinker

Shane watched lilite drink her ale and smiled. "Amateur." He was already done with his before she even brought hers to her mouth.

"Yeah well, lets see who is dancing on the table first before Leon arrives". Lilite said back to him smiling and tilted her head back drinking all what was left in the glass slamming it back down.

She covered her mouth laughing pushing the glass to Shane

Shane smiled, grabbing another drink. He chugged it down. "Alright. I would bet I wouldn't dance on the table though. I would probably just start singing. Without the table part."

"The bet is on then, I will get you on that table". Lilite smirked helping herself to another glass, she wasnt paying so she didnt really care how much she had.

Though after a few drinks the healer could already feel the effects of the beverage, she felt light headed, dizy but whats worse?. Hyperactive.

Leon's face was a mask of confusion as he entered the bar and sat at teh table, ignoring the looks from all three of his companions. He was thinking and hard at that.

What were those spheres? Why did they bother him so much, and why was it that whenever he touched them strange ideas and memories floated across his head.

Shane laughed. "Amateur. I can't believe you're already feeling it. You've only had eight. I usually don't start feeling it till my fifteenth." He chugged down another three drinks. "And lilite, I would love for you to get me on this table." He said jokingly.

Lilite couldn’t help but burst out laughing at Shane's comment and looked over to Leon seeing that he wasn’t smiling. He was getting free drinks with his friends but there wasn’t a sign of laughter of his face.

"Here". She passed him a glass smiling kindly, though she had to keep her hand on the table to steady herself. "Looking forward to seeing you dancing on the table dancing with me and Shane”.

Shane chugged down another two drinks. "Yeah, leon, smile why dont ya."

Nexus sighed, "This is so stupid..." He sipped the foul liquid casually. "Why are we even here?" He leaned back, watching his two, drunk friends. "So stupid...." He looked over to Leon, and rolled his eyes. Leon knew what he meant.

"Nexus, There was something... I found... " Leon couldn't even form complete sentences, so confounded by the items was he. Normally, he would be in contest after contest of drinking, for he was always the fun-loving one. Yet, something was bothering the ranger deep down. Pulling the pouch from his belt, he took one of the spheres, the black one, and handed it secretivly to Nexus, so that no one would see it.

"What is this?"

Shane looked at them and smiled. "Hasn't you evar played golf? It's so obvious they are justt golf balls..." His speech was slightly slurred, but still understandable. He was clearly heavily drunk.

Leon shot a brief look to Shane before returning his inquiring gaze to Nexus.

Shane stood up. "Whatever." He said, shaking his head rapidly. "Alright... let me get a close look at them..." He reached out his hand to grab the orbs.

Re-acting quickly, Leon grabbed both orbs and dropped tehm back in the pouch.

"You are in no humor for this Shane. Wait until you have a clear head. They..." Leon searched for the word for a moment. "Invade... you mind... distill images... You want to be sober before you touch them."

Shane laughed. "Buddy, you havent seen me drunk have you? Right now I am sober." He chugged down five more drinks. "But a few more minutes of this and I won't be."

Lilite looked at Leon with confustion written all over her face, she haddnt seen the orbs and it was only till she saw Leon putting them away did she start to pay attension.
"Invade your mind...Leon where did you find them things?". She asked the Ranger slamming another empty glass onto the table .

Shane smiled. "Hey leon, do you think she's drunk enough?" He chugged down another drink. "I could ask her now.. or maybe we should wait..."

"Ask me what..." Lilite said looking at Shane suspiciously putting the glass down that she was just about to take a sip from before Shane spoke.

She looked to Leon, Nexus then Shane again waiting for answer and wouldn’t pick up another drink till she got an answer, or just wait a little while.
Though it felt like if she even tried to get to her feet she would most likely fall to her knees, Lilite wasnt bothered about getting even more drunk. She was with Leon, Nexus and Shane it was easy to trust them eventhough they could be exstreamly childish at times.

Shane smiled, leaning toward her. "Ask you to climb up on the table and sing us a song."

Nexus hadn't spoken, nor had he even glared at Shane for his stupid comment. No...he was too focused. That...was a materia. I've felt it before...the darkness coming from it. It has been used... He stood up, and walked away from the table. "I'll be back in a few minutes." He said casually, "I'm just going to..." He looked at Leon, and his image blurred slightly, "Check on something."

Leon's pockets suddenly felt a little lighter.

Leon sences the theft of the black orb as Nexus moved away. Standing quickly, he bolted out the door.

What was wrong with Nexus? Why would he take the item without ever having Leon just follow him?

THe ranger looked about, but could find not sight of the man. With a shrug, he pulled his cowl low and dashed off into the night, all his stealth training taking him unseen through the city.

Nexus... where are you? He thought to himself.

Shane was left sitting at the table across from lilite. He watched leon leave and shrugged. "Oh well..." Then he turned to lilite. "Ready to sing a song yet?"

Lilite drowned another drink a large grin on her face, she haddnt even noticed Leon had left and in her state she wouldnt ever remember.
Standing up using the table to stop herself from falling over Lilite picked up Shane's drink finsihing it off before bursting into a song, but of course getting all the words wrong.

Shane smiled. "You know, if you sang while standing on the table, you would sound so much prettier. And everyone would hear you."

Lilite stopped and looked around her smiling. Its funny how just after she has alcohol he personality changes from someone who wouldnt ever do something like this in public, to someone who couldnt get enough.

Standing on the chair then table she grabbed an empty glass using it to sing into.

When Leon had crested the city's limits, it began to rain. That did not bother the Ranger, nothing of the natural forces bugged him. Still, when he stood up upon the hill that he had first entered the battle, he did not like what he saw.

Even through the gloom, he could see dark forms mulling about the remains of the demons, as if in search for something. They were definently of the Jenova Forces, and Leon has a rising suspicion that he knew what they were looking for.

Shane smiled. "I'll remember you got up first." He said, then chugged another line of drinks and climbed up on the table with lilite. He stood next to her, singing loudly.

Lilite laughed and carried on singing not caring if she made a fool of herself, she wouldnt remember it in the morning.
She sang even more as others in the bar started clapping cherring them on, some just complaining and leaving the bar.

Shane put his arm around lilites shoulder and began to dance on the table, still singing the drunken song.

Lilite danced with Shane all night, and with the drinks keep coming in she could go until the early morning.
"Leon and Nexy should be here". She shouted to Shane above the noise.

Shane smiled. "But they dont need to be here! Its just you and me... and all these cheering guys!"

"Yeah, your right". Lilite smiled jumping down of the table almost falling if it wasn’t for one of the customers in the bar helping her help, but she just took his drink instead.

She was now drinking more than she ever had done before and she knew that she would regret it in the morning. She could just hope Leon wouldn’t be waking up as early as he often did sometimes.

Shane jumped down after her. Doing a backflip and lading flat on his back. "Ow..." He said, getting back to his feet. "Lilite, we should get out of here... these guys are starting to throw money at you..."

Lilite was already collecting the tips of the men slowly backing out with Shane towards the door. "Well now we can go into any Inn we want, just got to make sure Leon and Nexus knows where". She said to Shane waving goodbye.

Shane smiled. "the innkeeper is going to charge us double for the rooms. Because we're drunk. But oh well, who cares?"

Somewhere, high above the city, Nexus stared at the moon. He held both orbs in his hands, feeling the power course through him. He looked to the sky, holding the dark one up. "It's powerful magic...contained in this. And it was used....recently." He could almost feel it calling his name, the dark orb asking for it's powers to be released. Meteor... His eyes widened as he felt energy surge into him. No! Cancel! THe energy stopped abruptly, and he sighed with relief. It's almost as if it has a mind of it's own...

One of the figures turned in the feild, obviously spying or sencing the stealthy ranger, which only worried him more. No one found him when he did not want to be found. The beast roared and charged, along with another of its companions. His bow came up in a flash, cutting the two down, but the third creature, a humanoid was no where to be seen...

Shane flopped down on the bed. "This is a nice inn... with nice beds..." He looked out the window. "I wonder where nexus and leon are..."

"Doing something boring and important". Lilite answered Shane sitting down on the end of his bed munching on a bright red apple she had taken from a fruit bowl in the corner of the room, not something the hotels hey visite in the past had featured in there rooms. But with tips from then drunken men in the bar they was able to get a higher standard hotel.

Her common sense still hadn’t come back to her yet, it was drowned out by the many drinks of beverage Lilite had.
She had chosen, quite stupidly to get only one room with two singles, one double.
But Lilite was hoping that maybe Leon and Nexus would sleep in the double.
But that was almost impossible.

Sprinting back through the city, he easily found his way back to the inn, but climbed to the roof instead, his eyes straining in the darkness, looking for the humanoid Jenova warrior he had seen earlier...

Nexus sighed, and pocketed the dark orb. He looked behind him, and took a deep breath. "Time to go back..." He closed his eyes, letting the wind take him.

He slipped into the inn, and stretched. He looked at Shane and Lilite, and almost smiled. Almost.

Shane leaned out his window, yelling up to the roof. "Hey there, whatcha doin' up there leon?"

Leon shrugged and scaled down the wall, easily slipping in through the window.

"Something isn't right out there. There were Jenova Soldiers checking the corpses... those... things... I found... I think they were looking for them..."

Shanes face got serious, and he seemed to instantly sober up. "So... those things you have..." He looked out the window. "We have to get out of the city. Now."

"Not such a good idea to go out in the open right now. I followed one, and I lost it..." Leon was a phenominal tracker, something that everyone knew. Nothing ever escaped him. Nothing until now.

"Better to wait for daylight..."

"No, leon. This town, this inn... there's so many innocent people here. And I feel the disturbance, those things... they're going to try to get their things back from us. We need to get any violence as far away from these people as possible."

Sighing, Leon only shook his head.

"They won't risk open war-fare in a city of this size, where the Watch can easily destroy them. They may be beasts, but they aren't unthinking..."

Shane shook his head. "No, I feel... something... something big... there's something more than those monster out there. Something stronger..." Then his eyes got wider as if he was surprised as a message he had recieved. "We need to leave, NOW!" He said, grabbing lilites hand and pulling her toward the window. He jumped out, flipping through the air and landing on the ground. "Rally the troops. We're mobilizing."

Leon nodded to Nexus and trotted off, melting into the shadows.


Time to hunt.

Shane looked through the darkness. He melted into the shadows. despite his heavy armor he moved lightly, silently. He came up behind leon. "There's... something big... and it's close."

"Shouldn't you be leading the others? I can hunt on my own, I am a big boy..." he joked, drawing his bowstrign tight.

"This thing is quiet..."

"Damn right. Even I barely sense it." Then he grinned. "And we all know I'm the best tracker in the group." He said jokingly.

"You couldn't track a wildfire through a forest!" He laughed, knowing well Shane was nearly as good at tracking as him. Going into a low crouch, he moved silently through the city, looking for this... 'thing'

Shane laughed at leons joke, then followed silently behind him. "Decker." He said, knocking at a door. The door opened and a tall man stood in the doorway. "Rally the troops. We're leaving." Then he faded back into the shadows.

Nexus sniffed the air. The two below him could have set off any trap, the idiots. They weren't thinking clearly, and they were talking too loud. Heck, they were breathing too loud.

Nexus felt the air around him, letting his mind slip away for a mere moment. There was a flash in his mind, an echo of a voice. Something was calling for him. No... It wasn't for him. It was calling for...

The dark orb, the magic.

Shane suddenly stopped, grabbing leons arm. "Wait... do you smell that?" Then they were both thrown into the air by a massive beast bursting out from under the ground, roaring loudly.

Lilite wasn’t exactly in the best condition to fight, but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t try.
She was still outside the Inn leaning on the wall squinting to try and find the familer figures of her friends, the healer took a step forward but as a trauma shook the ground Lilite fell to her knees stunned by the unexpected noise. "What the..."
Regaining her balance she reached into the deep pockets of her white cloak pulling out two vials of dulls liquid, but when mixed together they became luminous. Perfect was finding your way in the darkness. “Leon!” She paused for a second waiting for a reply.” Shane!”. Again she paused and looked around her before sighing deeply. “Nexus…”.

Shane leapt at the beast, slashing at it with his blade. But when he slashed it, it just grew back and regenerated the wounds. "It's using the shadows to heal! We need to get it into some light!"
