Old Wrestling was not fake. It wasn't planned. It was the real stuff.

Today's wrestling is fake. It is a show put on to entertain an audience. Of course it is scripted.

Now some parts of it are not fake. Like the training they have to go through to get in the shape they are in. I mean if you are going to pick someone up and lift them up into the air and they weigh 200 pounds that is no small feat. Get what I am saying?

2 years ago my uncle, 2 friends and I got front tickets to a showing of RAW. I mean the tickets that are like right next to the ring. there was a match with Shawn Micheals and Randy Orton. Shawn Micheals was thrown out of the ring and landed almost exactly in front of us. My uncle yelled to him "Get up! Get up! Get back in the ring!" and as Shawn started to pull himself up on the wall, he looked to my uncle and whispered "I've got a couple more minutes"

I kinda knew wrestling was fake but that pretty much confirmed that everything is scripted.

As for wrestling as a sport the stuff you see in the Olympics and High School/College we all know isnt fake. WWE and all that stuff is known as Sports Entertainment which is basically wrestling mixed with theater.

and i completely agree with Riku-Sora about the old wrestling and the training. But also the stuff they go through to get to WWE isnt fake. Like the Ohio Valley Wrestling Conference and all that stuff is actual wrestling.

It is fake, but that doesn't mean it doesn't make good entertainment. It's a dangerous sport if done completely realistically, and that's why they tell you not to do it at home. They're trained to fight, but also to act. It's like when they punch each other, i doubt your leg flinches so much that you drive it into the ground to create a loud bang is what happens when you punch someone XD

i think that SOME of it is real. However, on some of them, you can see th bad acting, so i believe the majority of it is fake. The whole camara moving as soon as someone is hit gives it away.
