The plot of Malificent and Pete at the castle in TWTNW

Alright....I want to drive away from the KH2 secret ending...and focus on what happened in the previous KH installments. What I want to discuss is how Malificent and Pete might play a part in KH3. As we can remember from the ending of KH2...Sora and the gang go and fight Xemnas....but the short scene where we see Malificent say to Pete "This castle will be perfect"...(or on these terms). If Malificent survived KH2, we pretty much can assume that she took control of the castle in TWTNW, but I want to know what you guys think of. How does this "crucial" part of the series play a role in KH3????

There wouldn’t be much point in that because Maleficent couldn’t control the heartless, and they would probably be the only suitable henchmen for her. I don’t think she would use TWTNW as her base or Hollow Bastion for that matter. I always thought that the castle was destroyed. If she survived that battle in the castle, I believe that she returned to the Sleeping Beauty world as it would have been brought back at the end of Kingdom Hearts 1. Square-Enix hasn’t used that world yet, so maybe it could be used in the next game.

Although they haven't used the world, they've used a lot of characters from it lol. Maleficient, the fairies, and Sleeping Beauty as one of the Seven Princesses of Heart.

In both Kingdom Hearts games they've had new main enemies (Xehanort and Organisation XIII), and Disney enemies (Maleficent and Pete, as well as enemies such as Ursula unique to worlds). I'm guessing Maleficent and Pete will be back with a third Disney enemy, possibly in that castle. Nomura wouldn't leave that line at a loose end.

No....the dragon came out of the distance far back away from the castle. If you watch the scene just after Sora and Riku find that they can't go through the portal home.....the camera shoots back behind the castle and we see the dragon

I think Maleficent has become a trademark for the game like how Cid is for the Final Fantasy games.

I am pretty sure we havent seen the last of her and Pete.

What else? They are trying to control the heartless to try and take over worlds. They are evil and want power.

In some way it does appear that way but she was in the power struggle against the Organization as well for power. Not much else I can think of to say.

Jeez all they do is run around doing a whole lot of nothing. Although I guess there had to be some disney villains in KH2.

lol Actually in Kingdom Hearts II Maleficent is trying to take over a world, any world, to use as a base. This is mainly shown by when she tries to take over Disney Castle. I'm not sure why Pete resurrects and sides with her though (or I've forgotten lol).

Maleficent didnt play that much of a part in KHII and i think she's just anoying and i dnt get what she really did i knw she tried to take over worlds and all and now that Xemnas is defeted she should be able to controlle the heartless again right? but thats if there is any heartless.

OH and at the end ya knw wen them Dusk Nobodies came and then they just disapeared after u defeted Xemnas what happened did they turn back into ppl or what??? i knw this is off topic but i just wanna knw if they turned back into ppl if they did then shouldnt the OXIII be turned back to???

I dont see that as possible because the nobodies are just really empty shells of whoever.

The hearts are still gone since the people that lost them became heartless. Nobodies are not supposed to exist so when they are defeated they just vanish.

I guess they defeated all the dusk. I think that is why Riku was so tired. He did just get a bad hit from Xemenes before he was killed.

Nobodies wanted the hearts unlocked from Heartless which were stolen. So whatever they would then become, they wouldn't be human because they have stolen hearts with different souls. They don't mix well lol.

Every member of the Organization has been defeated by the end of Kingdom Hearts II so they can't turn back if they don't exist.

Xemnas wanted Kingdom Hearts to give all of the Nobodies hearts and control them himself.

Although they don't say it, Maleficent must've been human in Kingdom Hearts and after being defeated, then Pete brought her back as a Nobody. She said that the castle at the World That Never Was was perfect (for her to take over), but I don't think the Heartless would listen to her anymore because she didn't have a Heart anymore. Something ridiculous like that lol

I saw when she was defeated all that was left of her was like a dark black stain on the ground if memory serves me right.

Oh so it's gonna be sorta the same as the so called Ansem and Xemnas no they cant do that it would be just like playing the same game but fighting differint ppl and isent Xehanort the main evil (bad) guy they cant change that.

I think some form of Xehanort is gonna be in KHIII its only right

i found it easy i just used tinkerbell wen i ran out of potion, i ran on the tree parts were most of her atks couldnt get me now that i think about it it only took one try unlike Demyx on KHII that took me 5 trys but i wasnt using my brain to go and lvl up XD

What does Timeless River have to do with it? I am pretty sure they didnt die. Also like I said before they might(just guessing) be a themed villain that appears as a trademark for the game series like Cid is for FF.

Timeless river dosnt have to be part of KHIII for Mali & Pete to be WHAT THE!!! i dnt think they died what would have been the point in them even being part of KHII if they just die with out anyone defeting them. what Riku-Sora said makes the most sence right now

Timeless River only took you back in time for that world. There would be no physical way to move off that world in the past at the time.

If Mickey, Donald and/or Goofy are included in Kingdom Hearts III, Disney Castle has to play some sort of part, whether the main character (Sora or not) has to actually visit it or not.

Riku-Sora, I haven't been able to find out about Maleficent's Dragon Form yet but I will lol.

How come Pete could go to timeless river in the first place? I mean I know he missed it when he was a captain of his boat but still.... Also did anybody notice that in the movie clips in Timeless river were Pete and Maleficent were talking that their was a wall that looked like it was making dark water coming out of it.... Could that have been the reason that Pete could go into the past or is Pete's desirer to return to the past really that strong?

And I think Pete and Maleficent are going to be back in KH3 and I think their going to be more powerful villains in the next game...

He was able to go back in time because that door appeared when he said he wished he was back in the good 'ol day. but I don't know how it just happen to appear like that in the first place.

As long as there are Heartless in KH3 there will be Mali or Pete because they command the Heartless or someone stronger will because the Heartless follow who is strongest.
