Sinking Ice Mountain

The heroes materialize on a giant mountain covered in snow. The Mountain shifts below them and starts to sink into the ocean. The Gaming Gods watch as the mountain is overpowered by water. The clouds part ahead and a Tsunami appears. The heroes must now avoid drowning and the extreme falling snow, a hard task to overcome as the mountain continues to sink further and further down.


Start point:
Each different Team Base located on a different mountain top.

"Twelve will be missed. Survive, or sink and freeze."

Time to begin. Remember this terrain is filled with dangers, and along with battling you will have to prevent sinking down into the ocean, meaning that you must remain on mountain terrain or else, you're done.

The battlefield was silent; an ominous chill hanging over the air.

Sephiroth slept underground, feeling the surprising power of the boy who had, in all actuation, damaged him. He, for the first time in an eternity, felt pain. The pain of light, the pain of rage, and pain of destruction, compacted into an intensity of everlasting might, and thrust upon him.

He would have nothing to do with pain. The reason he had never felt such horrid feeling was due mainly to the fact that pain, as powerful as it is, shows many signs of weakness in all organisms.

"I am not weak..."

But he was. This whole time, he was just fooling himself, spiraling himself further and further into this trickery that he really was the lord of darkness. He wasn't....he never truly was. How had he managed to destroy his rivals? Luck?

But something inside him made Sephiroth feel different. A feeling unlike any that came before it, and he knew, just as everyone else knew, that it was not over.

He prepared to awaken...



But, as fate would have it, Sephiroth had been spared death by forcibly being moved to a new battlefield...

Sora was transported again in other world.... he was ready... he sat and fell asleep

Yuna materialized in yet another new world, back into her normal form. She immediately became angry. "No!" She yelled, her scream echoing through the icy mountain-tops, "I had him!"

She angrily stomped her foot and slipped on the slippery floor, falling on her behind and sliding across the icy terrain.

Waking up in a different world, Ashe was completely stunned. "Wha... what happened to the island! And why is it so cold", she wondered. Walking around on this fronzen landscape, it was as if the breath of life was sucked right out of her. Standing up on this mighty cliff, Ashe could hear the water flowing around her. Jumping down to see where it was coming from, she heard ice crack.

"Oh no", Ashe screamed out in terror.

[Azure]

.... Zero appeared once agian into the fourht stage of his fight... and what greeted him was nothing that he liked...

The chill of the stage interfered with his sensors... it gave him poor footing and would hinder him in battle...

Needless to say the crimson warrior did not have many good experiences with the cold.....

Still, Zero could feel as the ground shook, and the world treambled as with each passing minute the water rose up the mountain range....

Thus the hunter bursted into motion... jumping up, his armor changing to a bright orange, simbolizing his Fire Form, preotecting him from the weather and adding fire to his attacks.....

Thus the orange warrior setted to continue on his quest for victory!

The blue bomber blacked-out once more. Seconds pasted, and the boy regained his body movement. He slowly opened his eyes, and then he regained control over the numb parts of his body. The boy, MegaMan, searched the area he was in now. He noticed that he was back in his base. At that moment, he knew that he was transported to another dimension.

“If we’re back here,” Omega-Xis said as he led the blue bomber to the exit, “then that means we are in a new realm.”

MegaMan knew it, too. By this time, he was expecting it. As the two warriors reached the exit, they could see that mountains being taken over by water. There was less landscape, and more water. They would have to stay on the mountain landscape, or sink into the bottom abyss of water.

"It's freezing here, Ring what's the tempature?"

"-9.5463 degrees celsius,"

John started flying through the snow, then made an umbrella to cover him from it. "I can already tell this won't be fun."

Only ruined by the footsteps of Sakura’s foes along the icy pathway, or her own heart thudding in the distance, nobody had found the silence more unbearable than herself. Walking such a platform in this spectral darkness should’ve been outlawed. Of course, now that she was lost, that couldn’t help at all. More than occasionally Sakura had thought she had heard the cries of her teammates. But regardless, only the flares and flickers of moonlit knolls of ice and the golden eyes of arctic animals perched upon them were seen. Sakura massaged her tender wrists which were polka-dotted with goosebumps thanks to the chilliness in the air. No matter. Her breath seen as smog was the only hint concerning the cold; Sakura had been oddly hot, particularly in her arms. Perhaps there was something wrong, or perhaps it was the warm draft drifting her way from the scarlet-ginger sparkle crackling in her sight. An abandoned campfire.

Yuna carefully stood up, stepping onto the ground carefully and with deliberation, determined not to fall down again. As she reached the edge of the mountain's peak, she looked over the edge as she did at the rock structure and saw rushing water beneath her.

Yuna slapped her hand to her forehead and carefully sat down on a rock that was curiously ice-free. "Where's my team?" She wondered aloud to herself. "How come I'm doing this alone?"

The pain of past battles had melted away, leaving Sephiroth with a mixed feeling of relief and anxiety. He was careless in his attempts to fight in such a weak state, and the results were what he deserved. He was nearly killed by the Sora boy, but Sephiroth would make certain that it wouldn't happen again.

He veiled himself in darkness to protect him from both the cold environment and enemy attacks. He scanned the desolate landscape for any signs of his fellow team members...

[Azure]

Zero sat in the small ledge on the montain he was currently hiking... the fire form had proven usefull in maintaining a proper temperature, but still he had the Ice Form to try... but that could wait....

After all his sensors picked something... and what better way to pick up heat that by smashing something... It was terapeutical...

Stahn landed in the snow, Dymlos still burning. "Hmph..." He quickly dispelled the flames, and looked around. "Where are we now?"

"It appears to be the snowy caps..." Dymlos hummed.

Stahn looked down the mountain, ignoring his fear of heights. "Is it just me, or is the ground getting closer?"

Dymlos hovered from Stahn's grip, and seemingly gazed down. "Hm...we are. This won't be good."

"It's water...and it's probably freezing. Dymlos, can you keep me warm if I fall in?" Stahn questioned.

"Not for long...maybe a minute or so." Dymlos returned to Stahn. "But I can keep you warm above water. Let's go."

Stahn nodded, "Right."

[RXS]

Yuna heard noise and looked over, spotting Stahn {are we allowed more than two people?}. She quickly ran over to him, slipping once again on the ice and falling to her knees, which now burned with pain. She shook off the pain and sheepishly looked up at him. "You survived?" She asked, so thankful that one of her team members had finally found her.

MegaMan quickly hiked down the mountain, his arms wrapped around each other. It was cold in this realm, but that didn’t stop the blue bomber. He just kept hiking down the mountian, staying away from the water below him. He wasn’t too fond of drowning, so he wanted to stay from the water around him.

“It’s cold up here, kid,” Omega-Xis said, his teeth chattering slightly. “Let’s go fight, and get out of here.”

MegaMan liked that plan. This land was very dangerous, so MegaMan wanted to get away from this area. Plus, the two wanted to get out of the freezing cold. But now they needed to fight.

The leisurely smoldering campfire crackled with a profound series of snaps and pops. It scattered intersperses of firey flares that alleviated Sakura’s potholed goosebumps, compressing them back into their skin-bound prison. The tides and floods of both airstreams and water would surely slay this sanctuary of warmth soon, so Sakura was aiming to extract all she could.

Still grasping onto the edge of the ice, Ashe heard footsteps coming toward her. "Hello! Is anyone out there! Please...", she felt her grasp starting to slip...

[Helix: The True Hero]

With no sign of reluctance, Sephiroth began his voyage across the ice-ridden terrain, careful to avoid any unnecessary conflict with opposing players.

It's funny: Throughout this whole experience, Sephiroth had never once considered why he, along with these others, would be chosen to participate in this almost senseless bout for power. Who had sent them all here? What were their ultimate intentions? Would a horrible end designate itself to Sephiroth if he wasn't careful and didn't play the game as written?

These thoughts swirled around in his mind as Sephiroth continued forward...

But he heard a sound...

Perhaps, a voice? Calling for him?

Stahn nodded, smiling. "Of course I did. I'm that good!"

If Dymlos could roll his eyes, he would have. "Get on with it."

Stahn nodded, "Right." He drew Dymlos, and heated up the area around both Yuna and him. "This should keep us warm...for now."

[RXS]

Yuna turned once again to hear Ashe calling out. "That's it," she said to herself, looking at Stahn for support. When she didn't receive any, she focused on Ashe and continued. "It is time to end this, Ashe. Princess or not, your time is up."

She ran down the side of the mountain, seeking out Ashe's wailing voice. "Come with me, Stahn! We'll get her together!"

John was in a cave, resting, "Ring," he held his ring up to his face "scan for any members of team H,"

"scanning... scanning... scanning... no currently active members of team hache."

"Damn, let's see, I'm in an unknown terrain, have no team mates, and can't call the corps for backup, and I'm starting to get hungry,"

"Luckily for you i can provide nutrients for your body to survive,"

"Like I said this is going to be a bad day,"

Stahn nodded, smiling. "Of course I did. I'm that good!"

If Dymlos could roll his eyes, he would have. "Get on with it."

Stahn nodded, "Right." He drew Dymlos, and heated up the area around both Yuna and him. "This should keep us warm...for now."
"Time to break the Ice" Zero stared at the two before him, as his armor changed from it's orange Fire Forms to the crystal blue Ice Form... now the weather served to heal him, and added strength to his Ice elemental attack....

Charging the buster gun Zero aimed at the man using the flaming weapon, his Ice elemental shoot seeking to tear appart the target!

Still grasping onto the edge of the ice, Ashe heard footsteps coming toward her. "Hello! Is anyone out there! Please...", she felt her grasp starting to slip...

The gusty fluttering of the awful blustery weather was stopped short and suspended by Ashe’s shouting. Sakura didn’t want to contravene Kiro’s clever counseling of not making friends with the enemy, but she was in the threat of death. A swift gallop stimulated a liveliness in Sakura, who quickly saw Ashe’s hand and its slowly dissipating grip.

“Here. Lemme help you!” Sakura reached out her hand.

Stahn spun around, greatful that his blade was already in hand. "Dymlos, Flame Strike!" The blade burst into flames as Stahn shot forward, striking through the Ice Blast with his blade. Heh... He charged forward, brining his blade down in a powerful cleave attack against the crimson warrior.

For an almost un-nameable reason, a vision of Ashe melded itself with Sephiroth's thoughts. Ashe was in danger...

Instantly, Sephiroth discarded his wonderous state and replaced it with reaction. The darkness of his soul churned, forcing his body to move eastward.

There, he spotted Ashe, dangling helplessly from a cliff. Without hesitation, Sephiroth summoned the darkness to his left shoulder, where a raven's wing sprouted. He lifted himself into the chilly, frost-ridden air and levitated toward Ashe, urging to grab his hand.

Stahn spun around, greatful that his blade was already in hand. "Dymlos, Flame Strike!" The blade burst into flames as Stahn shot forward, striking through the Ice Blast with his blade. Heh... He charged forward, brining his blade down in a powerful cleave attack against the crimson warrior.
The Zero clad in the Ice elemetal Form moved back, in a direct conflict the fire element of his foe would be lethal, thus the Hunter forced himself to restrict his usual tactics, and take a more adaptive maneuver...

Rolling down the icy hill, Zero shoot back frozen buster charges, the weapon aiming at his opponent, with direct accuaracy the now Blue Clad hunter seeked to stop his enemey, before changing to more destructive tactics.....

MegaMan had finally made it down the side of the step mountain. It was then only high ground in the area. The rest of the mountains were either under the water, or almost entirely engulfed in the freezing water. During the whole trip down the mountain, the blue bomber did not see even one enemy. It was too quite for his taste.

“Stay alert,” Omega-Xis warned MegaMan. “An enemy can attack us at any time”

MegaMan nodded, knowing Omega-Xis was right. They couldn’t let their enemies get the first strike. They needed to attack first, not be hunted.

Stahn dodged, rolling forward and ducking under the shots. He shook the snow off of him, and quickly dashed forward, "Flame Wall in front of him!" A wall of fire burst in front of Zero, hopefully stopping him long enough for Stahn to catch him.

Sakura could distinguish why Ashe would dither her assistance, though she nonetheless felt underappreciated. She plainly stood squarely behind Ashe while keeping a short isolation, and awaited the foreigner’s response.

Before Ashe could ask for a name in return, he grabbed Ashe's shoulder and teleported them to a nearby cave, out of the reach of hostile players.

Inside the cave, Ashe decided to use this as a time to understand Sephiroth's hasty action to rescue her. 'I guess he can't be all bad', she thought. "Why did you bring me here, and why did you help me in the first place?"

"Great, someone had to come now, well I want a challenge, ring lower force field,"

"yes sir." then the force field was lowered and John gripped himself,

"God, never mind it's completly freezing." and Ring put the force field back up "Oh well, we can still fight."

"There's a connection between you and I. I've felt this with a few others here as well. As of now, it's unexplained, but I plan to follow it."

He repressed his wing as he cast dark-firaga on a nearby stack of timber, and sat himself down next to it, absorbing it's warmth.

Yuna finally reached Ashe, with Stahn far behind in a battle of his own. She confronted Ashe and noticed Sephiroth. "If you are as princess-like as you say, you will fight this battle on your own," she threw Sephiroth an angry look, "Without the help of your pet." She accentuated the word pet, hoping to get Ashe mad.

MegaMan kept searching around the new terrain, not seeing anything. Why couldn't they see any enemies? Were they all hiding? The blue bomber needed to play this game using his intelligence. He couldn’t just rush into the field without a plan.

“Wait!” Omega-Xis shouted, pulling MegaMan back. “Do you feel that? It feels like an enemy is near.”

MegaMan looked into the sky and closed his eyes. He felt the same feeling, too. This was not good. They had to strike first, but it looked like the enemy already noticed them. They needed to be nimble, aware, and focused. One powerful attack could end their lives.

Immediately Sakura felt neglected and discarded by potential friends. All’s well, however. Sakura’s painful interval in the bitter arctic climate was aweful, providing another set of goosebumps. She turned back. The crackling of the campfire had ceased; the fire was no more.

"Hey blue boy, heads up," and a guilatine appeared over Megaman.

He smiled at the interpreted thought, not bothering to tell Ashe that he could, in fact, read her mind.

"Looks like I got a battle" Ashe said, standing up and straightening her cloak. Winking at him she said, "Maybe I'll see you around." With that she walked towards Yuna, readying the deathbringer.

"I am a princess, and I will protect my people", she said angerily.

Yuna was glad to hear it. She assumed her pose and the stones around her rose, initiating her transformation into Warrior. Brotherhood appeared in her hand and she prepared to battle Ashe. But she knew that she would not stay in this dressphere for very long.

She knew that Ashe was strong. She knew that to beat Ashe, she'd have to go into Floral Fallal once again. But this time, she didn't intend to lose.

MegaMan quickly opened his eyes, seeing a huge guillotine above him. This was where MegaMan’s quick reflexes came in handy. The blue bomber quickly dashed forward, just dodging the fall of the guillotine. The force behind him quickly pushed MegaMan forward, making him roll on the rocks below his feet.

“That was a close one,” MegaMan said as he rose from the ground. “So where are you?”

MegaMan couldn’t see his enemy. He just knew he had been attacked. Whoever it was, they could control a green aura. His opponent could also change this aura into any shape, which wasn’t good for MegaMan.

[Chaser's Apprentice]

Sakura breathed out a gasp of the arctic air, nipping at and chilling her teeth and inner mouth. So alone. She was distraught, hobbling away from a smoking outcome of a previous fire.

[Azure]

Stahn dodged, rolling forward and ducking under the shots. He shook the snow off of him, and quickly dashed forward, "Flame Wall in front of him!" A wall of fire burst in front of Zero, hopefully stopping him long enough for Stahn to catch him.
Zero responded in a flash, as the hunter stopped his roll, and backsteped, evading by a hair the wall of deadly fire....

Now sensing the nearing enemy, Zero rose his buster, the weapon already charged to it maxium output!

"Take this!" Releasing the Weapon, Zero released a charged shot, followed by a second one, and then finished by a sonic boom from his saber....

The three blasts charged by Ice targeted the nearing enemy... surely it would connect...

Running towards Yuna, Ashe used her inertia to propel them close to the ground. Slice after slice, it was the same thing, blocking every attack. "this is getting boring", Ashe said. "We are equally matched in melee combat." Grinning Ashe said, "why don't you switch it up a bit."

Stahn raised his blade, and cut through the first strike. "Too easy!" However, the first blast had covered the second blast, and Stahn never saw it coming. Dymlos still took most of the hit for Stahn, but they were both still blow back, and wounded. The final strike, the sonic boom. Stahn staggered up, and his eyes widened as the attack came closer. I can't block it! He took the attack head on, and was thrown back another few feet.

"Augh..." Stahn groaned, using Dymlos to help support him. Gotta keep up... He shook off the pain, and staggered towards teh crimson warrior. "I won't...die here. I won't lose!" He charged forwad with suprising speed, and spun into a powerful 180 degree spin.

[Azure]

Zero raised his Z Saber..the green weapon now glowing a bright icy blue, meet the force of the weapon of the enemy, but the replodi could not stop the momenthumn, and was sent backwards by the force of the enenmy....

The hunter growled as he jumped up, his saber ready..... "..... who are you?" Zero stared as he charged his weapon.... the light concentrationg on the beam weapon.... soon he would use one of his premier skills.....

John came out into the open, "I don't want to pull another sneak attack on you, how bout this though," and John propelled himself witha burst of energy tword Megaman and swung a buzz saw at him.

Stahn panted, "I could ask the same..." He raised his blade and struck out, doing a low horizontal slash. This man is powerful. "Stahn..."

Yuna looked at her, panting. "You dont want me to switch it up, princess," She growled, menacing her with the last word. "But if you insist."

Yuna felt weird using her special dressphere so early, but she allowed the blissful pink aura to surround her again. She felt her warrior outfit expanding and closing around her like a cocoon. While inside her cloth cocoon, her clothes turned a pleasant, light pink color and partitioned, creating the petals once more. Her undergarments once again turned white and elongated themselves to become a beautiful gown.

Yuna's hair glowed brightly and turned white as the dressphere's last changes took place and her three pod-like allies appeared from behind her.

"How's this for switching it up," she started to say, her voice distorted, "PRINCESS." She added menacingly and lunged at Ashe, flower and all.

MegaMan ducked, and then jumped back. He needed to stay alert during this battle. He didn’t have a clue about this new opponent’s abilities. He needed to stay calm and resourceful. Maybe the blue bomber could somehow use the world they were on for his advantage.

“I need to stay alert,” MegaMan said as he raised Omega-Xis. “Megabuster! “

A green aura formed inside Omega-Xis’s mouth. As soon as it started to flash, MegaMan knew the blast was fully charged. With a slight smile, MegaMan released the fully charged Megabuster shoot, and it zoomed towards John.

[Azure]

Stahn panted, "I could ask the same..." He raised his blade and struck out, doing a low horizontal slash. This man is powerful. "Stahn..."
"The name is Zero!" at the end of those words the hunter released the full charge of his Icy beam weapon, the blast ready to meet head on the spinning sword slash performed by the enemy...

"Not bad, but I'm better", Ashe said with a smirk. Sweat beading on her forhead, started to freeze as she dug her sword into a rock with brute force. Throwing the best hand bomb she had at the face of the mountain, the caldera, it triggered an avalanche, toppling Yuna into a drift of snow.

Freezing them in their tracks, both girls dug out of the snow, quite chilly. "How was that, my flower", she said enraging the girl. "I think I can protect my city now. And I am a princess", Ashe said digging herself out and going back into the cave and sitting by the fire, frozen to her toes.

She settled on waiting this platform out. The climatically varying weather conditions were too much to manage for Sakura. She stooped down and reclined upon a knoll of moonlit ice, as if awaiting for somebody.

Yuna appeared out of the snow unscathed, her flower making a protective shell around her and her pods and the same pink aura surrounding them. She floated in after Ashe and her pods shot multiple elemental seeds at Ashe, who had nowhere to escape due to the confinements of the cave.

MegaMan quickly reached into his backpack, taking out another Battle Card. It was the 'Spreader' card he used with the battle against Zero. With a flick of his wrist, MegaMan threw the card into the air, and Omega-Xis ate it. With a grunt, Omega-Xis changed into a new type of buster. It had six missile slots in it.

"Spreader!" With his cry, he launched all six missiles at the same time. Each missile zipped towards John, each one going into a different direction.

Stahn creid out in pain as he shot backwards. "D-Dymlos!" His teetch were chattering, "F-f-flame Strike!" The blade caught fire, and the ice around Stahn melted. Better... He surged forward, ready to strike Zero and-

"Wha-!?" The blade was melting the snow under him, which caused water displacement, causing Stahn to trip and, instead of striking Zero, tumble into him.

John was once again slammed against the face of the mountin, which caused a large avalanche which fell on top of him.

Zero ahd expected many reactions from his enemy... but this was something else... too confuced too react in time, the Crimson Warriror was caught in the fall of the swordman, and soon Zero joined Stahn on the snowy surface of the mountain!

"Ouch..." Zero tried to raise himself and kicked the enemy off, ready to jump and recover!

MegaMan took a step back, keeping his eyes on the huge pile of falling snow. He could not allow that avalanche to connect with him. If he were to get swept up in that snow, then he would most likely travel into the freezing water.

“This isn’t good, kid,” Omega-Xis said as he started to pull MegaMan the other way. “Run!”

MegaMan quickly followed right behind Omega-Xis’s lead. The two had to get away from the avalanche any way possible. Their lived depended on it.

A whizzing sound just went by Ashe's head. 'No, I thought I lost her', Ashe thought sadly. Driving her completely numb body to the mouth of the cave, she saw Yuna in her blue flowing flower gown, and she brought out the deathbringer once again.

"I guess if this is how it must be, I will fight you." Ashe said solemnly.
'For Rassler', she added silently. Casting haste on herself, Ashe briskly attacked Yuna. Trading blows once again, Ashe had a multitude of cuts on her body, but Yuna was getting weaker. Pulling a potion out of her pocket, she drank it, and instantly had another burst of energy.

Glowing brightly, Ashe finally let out her quickning, and shouted, "Northswain's glow." Shoving Yuna outside the cave. After she was done, she used a low level hand bomb to seal off the entrance tgo the cave. 'That should hold her for a while' Ashe thought gleefully. Now all she had to do was dig throught the top of the cave with her sword so she could get away from Yuna for a while.

Stahn flew a few feet into the air from the powerful kick, and rolled backwards in the snow. Too much... "Dymlos! Flame Wall in front!" A large wall of flames stood in between Zero and Stahn. "Sorry, I have some wounds to tend to. You're a strong fighter though..." he held his thumb up, then dashed away.

The light soon completely surrounded her and when it died down, Yuna was in her Summoner clothes. When Yuna finished twirling, a flame appeared on her staff. The flame dropped to teh ground and encircled Yuna. When the ground cracked, a large jackal/man like creature appeared and took Yuna on it's shoulder. It let her down and took a stance. Even as it stood there, the snow and ice on the mountain started to melt and the immediate area around them became considerably warmer.

"Meet Ifrit, Ashe!" Yuna yelled, a wild look on her face, "My firery Aeon!" Ifrit took a stance and caused a large ball of fire. He PUNCHED it and it went flying towards Ashe, melting the ground as it passed.

Link's eye's shot open. He jumped up as a small amount of icy col water splashed against his hand. He looked around. He had been moved again. He didn't shiver, for he had been in this weather before. He looked at Navi, who didn't shiver either. "We may as well get this over with.." She said as the harsh wind and snow fell. He walked around, it wasn't a strong snow, but a bit more than a nice snowy day. He wondered if anyone would find him.

Gohan said and then he flew up and took off towards them.

He took out his four-sword, and stabbed it into the ground. there was a large flash of light, reaching all the way to the sattacker's eyes, and seeable as a big flash from anywhere else on the mountain.there were now four samll links. and he decided that it would be best to use the fire rod. They all got out a fire rod, and charged. They were smaller, and they were more than one. it should come in handy.

Taking in what might be her last sight, she swallowed a lump in her throat. The fiery demon, and the meteor... Then, an idea popped into her head. 'It might be risky, but I'm willing to try anything' she thought eagerly.

Casting stop on the meteor, she went straight for the beast. Blizzaga, slash slash, Blizagga. This thing was not going to go down easily. 'How many of these things does she have? I can't take much of this', she thought. Finally after much hard work, the beast went down.

"What of your mighty Ifrit now, Lady Yuna? Will you give in now", Ashe questioned, waiting for the shocked girl to answer her question.

Zero stared at the four images of his oponents... his sensors did not lie...and it appeared that his enemy had managed to multiply himself into four!

Somehow Zero felt it was once agian another wierd magic that he, in all his logic, would not be able to understand.....

“Firey card!” It had been the opening to a break of vacation. A gleaming pool of icy water echoed back the moon’s radiance. It appeared to launch a boiling procedure, as if a vessel preparing to cook something (which sounded very tempting in Sakura’s mind). Her clothes lounging along the firm ground set aside a split of time for her to change into her swimsuit, which she drew out of her fluorescent shoulder bag (for censorship reasons, let's just say it's underneath her clothes already). Sakura’s swimming suit had been just as lively and multihued with colors that bathed in the newly molded hot spring.

Gohan could sense that Ashe was in big trouble so he hurried his way toward her. In a few minutes he would reach her, and he hoped that he could getb to her before it was too late. He didn't want to watch anyone get hurt that was apart of his team, or to see them die.

Fox sighed, appearing on an icy mountaintop. Yet another battlefield. He cursed under his breath. This time he would not hold back. It had become clear to him that no matter how much he would like to stop fighting, he had no choice. He had noticed at each new battle that one person from each team was missing each time. At this point it was just a theory, nothing more, but he speculated that this was all a game.
Put the teams against each other... then the weakest player of each round is eliminated...
He shook his head. If that was true, who was behind it? It was obvious they, the fighters, were the pawns, but who was the player? Like in a game of chess, do the pieces question the will of the player? No, because they have no hope of fighting his will, so they unquestioningly follow, battling to their deaths until their objective is complete. But what was the objective? What was the point of all this?
Destroy the outsiders...
An ominous message from the first base. It seemed to be his mission here, but why? whos will was he unquestioningy following, who was the player manipulating this game? He shook his head. So many questions, not enough answers. He exhaled, his breath forming a thin mist which dispersed as it rose into the sky. This place... why here? His brain was in overdrive as he stood on the mountain peak outside his base. Why were they being brought from one arena to the next? why not fight it out in one battleground? Was there a pattern of the different arenas? The first one was a beautiful valley... the second a desolate plateau, being destroyed by lasers from the ground. The last one was a series of islands, battered by the sea, and now this? what was the point of these areas? He sighed.
Twelve will be missed. Survive, or sink and freeze.
The message in this base. What was the point of these enigmatic messages? Whoever was behind this was writing them messages, sending them signs, but why write them in riddles? Fox shivered. Even with his thick coat of fur and his insulated jumpsuit, he was cold. This place was cold. It was a frozen wasteland for gods sake. Why had they been brought here? why had they been brought to any of these places? He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. He would get answers, if he had to kill every single living thing on this glacier. And he had a feeling that was exactly what the players behind this game wanted him to do.

Gohan quickly felt the spell and then teleported to dodge the spell, and then re-appeared in front of Bahamut. "Your going down, both of you. And if you think calling this thing out is one-on-one, it isn't, but now you don't have to worry about that!" Gohan said as then he powered up to Super Saiyan and flew up to Bahamut's face and kicked him in the nose and started rapidly punching him.

Sakura felt as if she could just…coast away into a supreme state of reverie. Although, she had made sense of common sense; there could be peril lurking behind any given rime-y mount. Interesting how content could be established at such an isolated, bitter place.

Luckily for Yuna, Bahamuts armor protected him from the rapid fire blows of Gohan. "Bahamut, take care of him." Bahamut reached out in front of him and grabbed ahold of Gohan. It held him in place and growled loudly in his face. "Launch." Yuna said, finalizing the command. Bahamut threw Gohan into the air while Yuna perfected her Stop spell and smiled as Gohan froze in midair.

"Like I said, It's one on one. You ready, Princess?"

"Reflect", echoed all across the battle field. Ashe cast reflect on herself, then used dispel on Gohan, unstopping him, and Bahamut watched in terror as Giga Flare came right back at it. Yuna was having a high summoner's fit.

It just keeps getting harder and harder, and beter and batter................... Gohan thought as then he put his arms over his head and put his heads together and a huge yellow ball appeared in his hand. "Take this, Masenko, HHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Gohan yelled as then he released the attack and it turned into a huge energy wave as it hit Bahamut in the gut and forced it backwards.

Fox felt the ice beneath him tremble. "What's this?" a crack opened beneath him. He stepped to the side easily, but this was just a small crack, no more than two inches across, and only a couple feet long. He turned and began to walk. He heard a distant roar, and turned to see a huge mountain crash into the water. "What?" He watched the ripples disperse from the mountain. "Sinking..." And then it hit him. "These mountains... THEY'RE SINKING!!!"

The links all jumped, aimed their flame rods down, and shot out fire, thus blasting them even higher. They all landed, bringing down their swords in a slash, hoping it would take affect. Hteir hats blowing in the wind, dephying the laws of physics and staying on.

Zero saw the four smaller sowrdman nearing him, and soon changed his chain rod into the triple rod lance, while drawing another sword form his hoislter and tranforming it also...

Now with the two spears Zero blocked all four slashes.... his reploid strength easily surpassing that of the smaller swordsman, and with a great deal of power, he pushed back, hopefuly sending off the enemy group..

They skidded along the ground, then they put their rods away. They had now poot on boots. And ZHOOM! They dashed like the wind, their swords facing forward. It would be rather hard to block this attack. But it could still be blocked. They dashed at the man from all sides, the snow hitting their faces but the didn't seem to notice.

Either that or the frosty atoll was conspiring with itself, for the earth was being stunned with upheaval and seismic activity. Was it sinking? Suddenly, Sakura felt insecure.

Instead of blocking, Zero jumped up, the hunter using the double jump to create distance from the four enemies, and drew his Buster Rifle, the weapon releasing a barrage of plama charges at the enemy at the will of the Hunter...

Hopefuly this would keep those tiny clones ocupied, while Zero thought of something....

Dragging Gohan off to the side of the mountain, Ashe told Yuna, "I guess it's just you and me now."

Lucas looked around as he was teleported once more to another mountainous terrain. The temperature was cold and gave him goosebumps. Without a coat or jacket, he had nothing to keep his skin from being exposed to the weather. Lucas sighed as he grabbed his arms and placed them to their side, rubbing them to heat his skin.

"I am... so cold...," Lucas said quietly to himself. Then, at that moment, he gasped. An idea had stricken him. Concentrating his energy around his body, he heated himself up from the inside and outside, simply by using his PK Fire ability. Taking advantage of his powers in such a terrain was a very wise idea. He was now free to walk around. Looking for an opposing foe, he walked through the cold, harsh weather...

...All the while, their dooms arriving to them. The mountain was sinking, and it wouldn't stop. They needed to survive rather than try to stop the natural occurance.

Sakura stalled her thinking and began acknowledging the potholed islet that she and others were clashing on. If she focused and directed her wandering eyes to a particular spot of the frosted over ground, she could see it shifting. Slowly shifting…

Gohan felt Ashe place him away from the fight, and he wasn't sure what was going on around him. Then the next thing he saw was the air. He was flying. But barely. He regained himself fully enough to fly, but not really enough to pay attention. He searched around looking for something. He wasn't sure what, Maybe a way home. That was the only thing on his mind currently. He flew around for a few more minutes and relized he was lost and wasn't able to sense anyone's power levels. Then he was on the ground. He was vunerable right now.

Zero growled as he rolled down the mountain... he was in a disadvantage with his fight wiht the four clones... thus Zero escaped... ready to fight another day!

Quickly wandering away from Yuna, Ashe stops by the cave, and goes in. Sealing off the cave, passes out from exhaustion and dreams of home, far, far away from her.

"A million curses to you gods." Yukimura said brushing off some snow, he was in his particularly annoyed mood. When he got back to Japan his enemies would be unlucky to run into his path, right now what he needed to do was find a way out, or do as the egoistic gods wished.

The plot thickens, and the warrior's soul burns brighter with every new stage.

Gohan walked around and saw a man. An older man. He hoped he wouldn't see him, and he tried to hide both himself and his power level. He slid behind a rock and looked back to see if the man could see him. Gohan was in no shape to fight right now. Unless................

"Of course!" Gohan yelled as then he brought out a senzu bean and ate it. He felt perfectly healed. He jumped out from behind the rock and flew towards Yukimura and noticed that Zero was there too. He hurried towards them to see if he could aid Zero in the fight.

[Roxas 1994]

MegaMan nearly escaped from the avalanche from before. Going down the side of the mountain cost him valuable time. Now he needed to make his way up the sinking mountains, shaking both inside and out. This cold weather was getting to him.

"Let's find another opponent," Omega-Xis grunted as he led the blue warrior up the side of the mountains. The rising water was right behind them.

Slowly, the blue bomber made his way up to the top of the step mountains under him. Now he just needed to find an opponent and fight him. That's why he was there, after all.

[Lone Wolf]

Zero stared at the enemy he now had encountered.... this was strange... this person... for some reason.. he felt a drive to fight them....

NO problem...

Zero drew his Z-Saber, the green weapon shinning as the beam edge was summoned, and the hunter lunged form his hiding spot at the samurai!
Sneak attack... too bad for his enemy that ninjas were a constant threat, and apparently they were no threat anymore. Instinctively his naginata left its holding place to meet the green sabor.

"Coward..." Yukimura clenched his teeth, the force with wich he pushed with was mighty, his foe was no ordinary one.

Relinquishing the weapon hold he backfliped and from his supply bag pulled out a random bomb to throw it at Zero. It crashed on the ground and bursted in flames, fire bomb... He had missed but the fire created a mist with the ice as it melted.

Good for cover.

He moved in through the mist aiming at his enemy's neck.

[Azure]

Zero growled as his sensors went thermal, trying to detect the enemy in the thick mist the bomb had created... he was fighting a human... something he found no joy... but that could not be changed....

Zero changed to his Ice Form, his armor turning a icy blue and now recovering with the contant in the Blizzard.... this was the power of the Ice Chip he had downloaded from Fairy Leviathan.....

Now.... yes there he was! Zero rolled foward, as he summoned his Chain Rod, the whip striking foward, as it crossed the mist to strike at the thermal reading that was supposely his enemy!

[Xuan]

Light. So it is the light, after all.

Riku woke up. He looked around, trying to distinguish the land and sky while rubbing his hands eagerly to rid the cold off his hands. Previous events had struck him like a sledge hammer, the events that he had never hoped to remember. Suddenly, he realised that he was unharmed, unscratched. There isn't even a single wound to be found on his body.

But this is completely impossible! I was near dead! Even if I survived, how could my wounds possibly?... A grim thought surged through Riku's mind. Perhaps it is the work of the mastermind behind this mindless slaughter. He hated every second of being manipulated and reliving every moment of his past, but he is alive.

And he will use that to his disposal.

Looking around, he discovered that he was no longer at a barren wasteland. In fact, this is a hundred times more worse than ever. Ice and snow, that is what he called them, even though he preferred the word hell and despair. His fingers begin to grow numb as the temparature seemed to drop a few more degrees lower, to his disgust. But something made him even more alarmed than ever.

He is sinking. Yelping like a dog, he jumped away from the chunk of ice he has been standing on and watch it sink into the deep depths of water. The slightest brush with the freezing water stung him like a bee. Riku made up his mind. He would rather fight than staying here, and it seems that the only way to get out is to fight.

And so he go.

Gohan kept heading towards the others and then landed right in the battlefield. He watched for a minute, and then yelled at Zero. "Hey Zero!" Gohan called out. "What's up?" Gohan asked as then he felt a familiar power level. It was the one from before. The one Zero fought. His name was MegaMan, at least, that's what he could remeber. He felt that he was looking for him, and put up his guard.

[Lone Wolf]

Yukimura new little to nothing on machines as they were a new sensation in his home. One thing he did know was that if the chain made contact his blood would be spilt on the icy floor.

Yukimura sidestepped grinning as the chain went passed him, but a whizzing sound made him look back. Twas the chain again. It was following him? Sorcery was all he thought.

His tactic changed for the time being and as the chain roared for him he misguided it with his spear, wrapping it around his weapon. He quickly took a hold on the chain and rammed it into the ground, hoping it would lay stuck there and resumed his attack, this time he ran on the chain, a difficult feat, of course the arrow he now launched made it no easier.

He followed behind the arrow.

Zero ignored Gohan, as he now stared at the form of the eneemy, who was now running on his own Chain Rod....

"Great..." Sarcams aside the hunter drew his rifle, aiming with the weapon at the moving form, Zero released a charged shoot!

However the plasma charge did not travel alone, as soon a second charge followed, hiding behind the first, this dual attack shall defect the enemy..

[Xuan]

Trekking across icy and wind was far easier than Riku has once thought. He was at first worried about the coldness that seemed to sap his strength and warmth like water, but the solution came quick and easy. A small trick he had learned when he had walked the Door to Darkness.

"Fire!" Instantly, his body was engulfed in bright yellow flames, keeping its user protected from the dangerous elements. The flames dissipated as quickly as it came, but it was still there, simply invisible to naked eyes. However, Riku do wonder whether he could whistle under such extreme climac. Why don't I give it a try? he thought.

Suddenly, he heard the sound of battle. With a loud groan, he began to run towards the clanks of metal, his responsibility pulling him deeper and deeper into battle. He had a responsibility to protect his friends, and it wouldn't work if he were to die here.

He just hoped that he won't need to meet Sora again.

[Roxas 1994]

MegaMan walked through the cold until he saw a figure standing in the distance. He squinted his eyes, trying to see who it was. To his surprise, it was Gohan. He had only faced him for a couple of seconds before, but the blue bomber knew that the warrior was powerful.

“It’s that guy from before,” MegaMan said as he stepped forward. “He was the one who attacked us.”

Great, now they had to face him again. They couldn’t run away now. They had no place to go to. Besides, he wasn’t in a rush this time. The blue warrior wanted to face Gohan now.

Gohan awaited but the blue warrior still did not attack. Gohan was growing impatient, Maybe he was scared. Or maybe it was because he had no way to get home. Whatever it was, it made him go Super Saiyan and teleport behind Megaman and grab his neck and start chocking him with his right hand.

[Lone Wolf]

The incoming attack was swift, but the Sanada warrior swifter. Landing on the chain he regained his assault, luckily he noticed a second wave coming, too bad for Yukimura that his feet would not be able to jump again as quick, regretably he slipped purposely on the chain and upon making contact with the floor sprung back up.

"Tricky..." Yukimura drew his bowstring and the arrow twirled at a menacing speed, collecting icecrystals as it went and slowly becoming an ice arrow, bent on freezing the blood of its unlucky victim. Pulling his naginata again he followed repeating a similar dual attack, only that he planned to vanquish his enemy.

[Xuan]

First look at the enemies and Riku began to curse like never tomorrow. Glowing boy, Zero, blue boy and a strange samurai man. He recalled the battles he had fought before. Go Han was powerful. Zero was tough. Megaman was surprising. But everytime he fought them, he prevailed. The only downside is that they always come back. Riku sighed.

The samurai was not his friend, he could sense that very well. Too well, in fact.

Still, it would do no good to run. He shall fight. And so he leaped into the midst of battle, determined to battle with everything he got.

Gohan then sensed another person's power level. It was the silvered haired man from before. He was here now too. Before, Gohan knew he would have beaten him, but something took him away. And now he was in the fight with MegaMan. If he jumped in the fight too, Gohan would surely be beaten unless he transformed into THAT form, but that may not even be able to win.

[Roxas 1994]

The choke hold was crushing MegaMan. He only had a few moments before he would pass out. With his free hand, he reached into his backpack. He retrieved one Battle Card, but this one was going to help him. He simply inserted the card into Omega-Xis mouth. The card was called 'Invisible'. This battle Card helped him out a lot during battle.

In seconds, the blue warrior became see-through. His body soon lost mass. He slipped through Gohan's finger, becoming like a ghost. In a swift movement, the blue bomber jumped a few feet back and raised his Megabuster. He had no time to charge the shot. The Battle Card's effect would not last that long.

"Megabuster!" With that cry, MegaMan released a Megabuter shot near Gohan.

Gohan saw the attack coming at him and quickly countered with his own. "Kamehameha!" Gohan yelled as he released a huge blue energy wave countering with MegaMan's blast. He then flew up into the sky and awaited for MegaMan's next move. If I hit him now, it'll be a waste, since he's in that kind of form! Gohan thought as he waited for the blue warriors next move.

[Xuan]

"Hello, glowing boy!" Riku dived straight towards Go Han and Megaman. Well, since Megaman isn't exactly his friend, but still, if he was to be killed just like that, it wouldn't be too... enjoyable. And he needed this to be enjoyable. And that's why he transformed into the Light and Darkness. His power suddenly spike a whole new level as he charged towards Go Han, Keyblade in hand.

"And good bye, forever!" A quick slash on Go Han's arm and a brutal kick on Go Han's ribs sent him a good ten metres away. The blue boy was nothing of his concerns. From now on, only one person could harm him, and that would be Go Han. He challenged him in an imperious tone, "Show me that again so I could crush you... with pleasure."

This wasn't good. His fears had come to life. the man was now also facing him. And he couldn't just trasnform into THAT form at will, he never could. He needed help. From anyone. It was now two-ontTwo, and he hoped Zero would come to aid him, but he was in his own battle, and the last time he saw AShe, she was aslo in her own battle. It was his battle alone, and he had to win. Now more than ever.

[Azure]

Zero saw the projectile near, amd quickly withdrew his Chain Rod, tranfoming the weapon into his Shield Bommerang, the spinning weapon deflected the arrow, the attack lost in the icy hills...

With another growl, Zero raised his Saber, meeting the weapon of the samurai head on. "You are good... for a hume..but that matters little!" Zero pushed back, and kicked at the samurai, hoping to push the enemy back!

Yukimura received the blow, awkwardly and absorbed the impact. He coughed up blood and lost a good amount of stamina. It was true though, that after the fight he would lose a few ribs from the impact. Amazingly he was still laughing.

"Your miscalculation will be then end of you." The warrior pulled together some of his strenght aiming at his oponnent chest, where a heart would be in any other human.

I don't want to fight you. If I do, and I transform into THAT form, I will surely kill you," Gohan said as then he turned away and hoped that the man would leave him. Gohan didn't want to fight anymore. He just wanted to get home.

[Azure]

The blade meet the armor of Zero, and pierced it.... in other words the simple blade of metal, forged by the will of humanity managed to pierce the armor of Titanium of the Reploid....

Had Zero been human, the blow would have been fatal... but to a warrior reploid such as him, the attack meant little...

Thus Zero raised his fist.... his knuckle glowing with energy before he punched at the enemy!

[Xuan]

Ok. My worst dreams had definitely came true. Maybe second worst. He doesn't want to fight me? Riku was upset. It was long since he could find a powerful opponent, someone worthy enough to fight, to battle, and now...Little coward... After some thinking, he finally decided that 'this' would do to calm him down.

"Hey!" Riku yelled.

Riku flashed towards Go Han with invisible agility as The Way to Dawn struck him full in the chest. Before Riku allowed any reaction, he pulled a triple round house kick to send him far towards the front. In this form, everything is powerful. And so the might of his force sent his opponent crashing straight into the ice mountain.

As usual, Riku had allowed not even a single heartbeat to his opponent. He turned back to his original form and walked away. It's time to fight either the blue boy, or the red reploid. A cold voice that is his resonated along the howling winds.

"You shall go for now. The next time we meet, I hope you'll give your best. Absolute best."

And so he go. Again.

[Lone Wolf]

The samurai fell backwards, glancing off the blow and landing in the snow. He could of stood back up, but he preferred to run and live another day. He left with a few words in his mouth, "Next time crimson warrior... fate will have you."

MegaMan felt a little angry by Riku's comment. He was underestimating his abilities. He hadn’t even seen MegaMan’s true power. Their battle was cut short, so he didn’t have time to show this Riku person his true abilities. But Omega-Xis had the biggest temper.

“We would like to she you try!” Omega-Xis grunted as he led MegaMan towards the battle. “You haven’t even seen us in action!”

Great, now Omega-Xis opened his mouth. Now he wasn’t going to shut it until they beat Riku. MegaMan had no chose but to battle the silver-haired boy. The blue bomber raised his Megabuster, charging it. A green aura formed inside Omega-Xis mouth. Again, the aura flashed. This signaled to MegaMan that the Megabuster shot was fully charged. The blue warrior aimed his buster and fired.

Gohan couldn't feel anthing, and he saw the man leaving. Gohan.............he was about to die. We was weak right now, and he thought of everyone. Then he remebered his dad's words. Then Gohan thought of Cell and Bojack. Then something ticking.

Tick......Tock.......Tick............Tock......... Tick-

SNAP!

Gohan then exploded with rage and power once again, as he transformed into his Super Saiyan 2 form. He realized that it would be okay to fight as he remembered #16's last words. Gohan then got up and then teleported in front of Riku, blocked MegaMan's blast, and the punched Riku in the gut with no emotion in his face. He was serious now. He would NOT lose this fight.

[Xuan]

Riku smiled. Just as he expected. He painfully took the blow in his gut as he winced and backed off a few steps, but then LD form took over and his strength increased by tenfolds. He laughed at Go Han, "I couldn't believe it! Another idiot like Sora! Just a showcase of little tricks and... and... you guys just fell for it so easily..." Why does his heart fell so painful?... Sora... Kairi... With a burst of aura he started to look serious, a whole lot serious than before. He stared at Go Han and at the blue boy.

"Sorry boy, lemme waste a few seconds to... take care of this blue kid first..." In a flash. the blue boy right shoulder's was punched through with unbelievable force before he flung Megaman away like a rag doll. He set his eyes on Go Han.

"Now, we fight." He was ready.

Gohan wasn't going to waste his time. He was already in front of Riku when he grabbed his neck and started chocking him. Then he started rapidly beating Riku's chest in harder and harder with his opened hand and then he threw Riku in the sky a little and then released a huge yellow energy ball out of hi free hand at Riku and exploded on contact. Riku fellout of the smoke and landed on the ground with a hard thud. Gohan knew ha was no where near finished yet, so he telepoted to him again and pressed his Left foot on Riku's stomach and forced it harder on him.

"I won't forgive you, for everything you've done. This will be your final resting place!" Gohan yelled as then he pushed harder and hader crushing Riku into the ground more and more each second that passed.

[Azure]

Zero rose from the tunnel that was left in the aftermatch of his fight with the samurai... it mattered little... but the hunter dashed once again...

Hi sensors were picking an enemy... now all that would matter is to find them and destroy them... after all it was the purpose of his existance here....

Tifa watched them fight woundering if someone would fall into the dark cold waters, which held who know's what. Little white puff's came out of her mouth as she breathed, it felt like pin's where digging there way into her body from lack of heat.

Altair opened his eyes and shivered when he got up. The whiteness around him was freezing cold. He wraped his cloak around him and folded his arms. He went to walk but he slipped on the frozen landscape. Altair then tried to get up but only got up on the third try. Once he got up he turned and saw below him water that was everlasting in every direction. He stood there and watched as the water rose quickly up the mountain. Altair the carefully searched around and looked the best he could through the wall of whiteness. He heard noises of battle and went to investigate. What he saw was the boy that was a friend and the boy with glowing blonde hair fighting.

OOC: Dude, we're on equal par, the things you did to me is what a adult would do to a child, still...

Riku had not seen that coming. The kid's anger had defied all laws of logic when he was beaten around worse than a punching bag. And now he's crushing him into the ground slowly! His body felt sore all over, and a little bit pain on the neck, but -

That was all. Riku smiled. The kid didn't know what he had coated himself with when he first came here.

"Fire!" The kid immediately burst into flames. With a quick motion, Riku rolled out of the way, casting spells as he focused his powers to his Keyblade. "Wind and Heal!" Again, the environment is to his advantage. The wind barrier worked perfectly under such... vigorous environment. His wounds are healed and soon he felt as if he was brand new.

"Ok, boy. MY turn." Flash! And he was right in front of Go Han.

"LIGHT!" A powerful vertical slash slammed Go Han plummeting towards the front.

"YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE IT ALL!" The circle of Darkness began to dance again as he struck relentlessly at Go Han's body, his speed faster than ever.

"NEVER AGAIN!" This time, he's taking no chances. Instead of Go Han's front, he appeared above Go Han and fired the Light beam which is ten times more powerful than the last time.

Powerful explosion occured. The damage to the land was so severe that it was as if the earth crust was busted open.

Ice are sinking. Smokes are popping. But is he still alive? He better be, for this is just for starters...

Zero carefuly sat on a ledge... after all this was ... his armor could no longer wistand the battle he had faced... he needed an energy core.... or at lest to rest.... but with the rising waves....

Zero just sighed and headed on.... there was much to do!

[Helix: The True Hero]

Sephiroth returned, pained to see that his new team member, Ashe, was nowhere to be seen.

"Always alone."

He sat in the cave, gazing at the magnificent patterns that developed in the fire. He thought of his mother, now gone, who had gone through so much just to save him. He thought of how the Shinra scientists had taken her away with malice, and experimented on her against her own will.

He thought of all he went through himself, crossing the landscapes to avenge her. He had failed and, in the process, became enveloped in a power that had overtaken him. The darkness he holds so dearly now is not only a reminder of his past, but a curse, brought down upon him by his own ignorance and greed.

It could never be reversed. Sephiroth would remain this way forever. Unless, of course, his mother could be saved.

But that was impossible...

Gohan fell up from the ocean and the sinking icebergs, he had dirt and blood on his fore head and was wet too. He then landed in front of Riku and wasn't looking at his face, when he then looked up and smilied.

"Is that ALL you got?!" Gohan asked as then he swiftly starting beating Riku around with a roundhouse of kicks and punches and then kneed him in the "special" place, where it hurt the most, and then flicked him away, and the flick was so powerful Riku crashed into a mountain.

"Your finished if this is your best!" Gohan said as he then waited.

"Geh..." The reploid, which was smaller than the man smirked... "Have you battled.... we have much to do..."

[Helix: The True Hero]

Wrapped deep in almost impenetrable thought, Sephiroth stood and exited the cave, making himself vulnerable once more to the elements. He extended his wing and drew his sword. Since there were no current enemy players, now would be the perfect time to practice.

Zero left the one winged angel to his practice....he had better things to do... such as find a battle.. thus the hunter left... his scanner searching for something.....

[Xuan]

Riku shooked off the crumble of ice as he stood up, grinning like mad. No he was not mad with that hit. He then shouted at Go Han, "I told you that this are just for starters!" as he began to focus his powers for another skill. The kid was powerful alright. The Wind Barrier had absorbed most of the damage as usual. Recasting it again, he decided that he would need to do something special in order to avoid taking damage. After some thought, he unleashed his aura. Everything is ready now.

"Let's see if you can take this!" Riku's hands began to glow white and black as an immense power began to surge from them to his Keyblade. Unlike Sora, he was unable to dual wield, but all the better. He then held the Way to Dawn with both of his hands and to his side, the tip of his Keyblade pointing towards Go Han.

He spoke monotonously, "Do you have any idea -" Suddenly, he was gone and before anyone realised, his Keyblade has gone through Go Han's stomach, "- Just how powerful it is when you hold your weapon with both of your hands?" He pulled the blade out swiftly and leaped into the air, floating.

"One Shot"

He awaited for his enemies' movements. He was grinning in anticipation to see how the kid will fare with a hole in his stomach.

[Sain1846]

Altair moved back when the explosion blew chunks of ice towards him. He threw himself on the ground and stayed down until the chunks flew over. He then got up and brushed the snow off of him. He saw the power that his friend unleashed so he knew he could take care off his self. He then turned and saw the boy in red standing at the mouth of a cave. He started carefully towards him.

OCC: No I have to go and I only posted two posts.

Gohan then crouched down and grabbed his stomach. No, that's not what he was grabbing. He pulled out a bean and then ate it, and then his wound completely healed, but the blood that leaked out remained. Gohan then stood up staright and looked at Riku.

"Do you have any idea-" Gohan said mocking Riku, and gather energy in his hand and then disappeaing and re-appearing behind Riku. "-how strong a Saiyan becomes when he is near death and heals!" Gohan yelled as then he launched a energy wave through Riku's stomach.

"It's over!" Gohan yelled as then he launched millions of energy blastts at Riku rapidly never stopping until after a few moments and he waited to see what Riku would do next. His power level was still there, so he was still alive. Gohan smirked and awaited his foes next move.

[Tidus dude]

Mickey materialized. "...wow...this sure isn't the castle!?!!" mickey said slipping on the ice.

He stabbed part of the keyblade into the ice and hung on for dear life. I have to acess the situation!

[Xuan]

As he had expected, the kid was not a simple joke. What he had displayed just now was completely bizarre and unbelievable and impressive. The display of power had been amazing. he must give credits to the kid.

And of course, to myself, for the display of skills. Riku grinned. He was unscratched and unscathed by all the attacks he had took because of one thing: The unleash of his aura.

Once Riku's aura was released, it automatically acts as a protective sponge around him, absorbing any kinds of attack such as brute force and pure energy. The only thing that could go through his defense is a stab of energy. Even more amazingly, this sponge is perfect because -

"I could reflect every single attack you throw at me, along with my own powers! So long, kid! HEART OF BOND!" Riku knew that the kid had eaten something, something to completely revive himself, and that worried him a little. While his enemy could heal indefinitely, he had no such luxury. He had only one choice: Knock him out before he heals.

Riku winked out of existence and out of nowhere, heaved a crushing blow on to his head. He had used the flat part of his Keyblade. It would do no good to kill such a wonderful fighter like him. Without waiting for his response this time, Riku had grabbed his legs and threw Go Han into the icy water below.

The icy water should sap his strength quickly enough so that he won't be able to battle again, just in case he still has his conscious.

Gohan fell deeper into the water, second by second, and he was full aware of it. He wasn't quite sure what Riku had just done, but he was about to use his most powerful attack of all......

"Kamehame.........."Gohan started as he gathered energy in hishands and powered up higher and higher for his attack awaiting for Riku to try to come.

Riku was about to transform back to his normal self when he saw a glowing light from the depths of the icy water. Great... so the icy water didn't work as good as I thought. Hmm... Fifty on the yellow beam with that crazy yell of his. Riku scanned around. The battlefield was sinking every second and the surroundings grew colder and colder. Thankfully, his the fire magic he had casted upon himself had worked like a charm.

That gave him an idea. He pointed his Keyblade to the icy water beneath him. With a whisper, he said, "Deep Freeze."

A globe of energy sinked itself into the water below. All the sudden, the water began to solidify, rapidly turning into solid ice, and that of course, includes the water around the glowing boy. He knew that this would not stop the kid, he was just buying a few precious seconds so he could concentrate his last energies for a final attack. Truth to be told, the constant usage of powerful skills and attacks had drained his reserves like water in sink. The regeneration of energy couldnt keep up with it. He had to end this, quick.

He held his keyblade in front of him, with both hands. As his entire body shuddered at the might of his energy, he stared down to where the boy is.

And waited for the final attack.

Who will win? Only the next strike of both people decides.

"Hey, waiting for me?" Gohan asked below Riku. He felt Riku's last attack on the water, and quickly teleported out and below Riku quitely. "HAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Gohan yelled completing his ultimate move, but he didn't aim it at Riku, he aimed it at the ground. He then flew high up with intensity due to the attack and still had a huge amount of it in his right fist and he lurched it foward. "FFFIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTT!" Gohan yelled then flying at Riku with his ultimate attack and was about to pierce right through Riku.

OOC: o_O Final attack is a fist? Okay...

Riku focused his strength into his Keyblade. Even though his opponent would reach him within seconds now, Riku had trouble trying to focus both the Light and Darkness within his heart. He suspected his battle with Sora had something to do with it.

After all, the strength of his heart came not only from his own, but his friends as well. But Sora had deserted him.

Or did he? But Riku remembered something else as well. Something important. Something that says that no matter what befalls on him, he would always protect his friends. Will always keep them safe. Keep them happy. To keep his promise.

Yes. I promised to myself that I will go back and never leave them like that again. With sheer determination of his heart, Riku refocused again to balance the Light and Darkness in his heart.

He succeeded. With one final burst of strength, he heaved his Keyblade at Go Han. His enemy had put his full energy into this attack, and so he shall make this final attack memorable as well. His Keyblade made contact with Go Han's fist.

"PROMISE MEMORIES!"

And there was the bright flash and nothing more.

He could feel it: An opponent fast approaching. One he had not encountered before, it seemed. The aura of this fighter was strong.

Sephiroth gripped his blade, waiting for him to arrive, waiting for him to die.

Riku ran, his other hand clutching his weapon arm. The LD Form was fading fast.

That little boy really pack a powerful punch. As he ran on, searching for a place to hide and rejuvenate.

The battle against Go Han had been brutal. Although he had won and slammed Go Han into a nearby ice mountain, he too suffered some serious damage. His weapon arm cannot be used now. He had to swap hands. Just as he thought he was safe, he felt the familiar chill of Darkness in front of him. He looked in front.

Oh brother. Sephiroth. This stinks. Dammit. He cursed silently as he brought up his Keyblade and waited. Wasting his energy to cast Curagun is not an option now. He needed all his strength to fight this fearsome enemy.

Sephiroth turned to face his opponent, his silver-streaked hair gleaming in the moonlight of the icy air. He saw the boy, with keyblade in hand, and smiled.

"That weapon...I had recently fought one with one similar to that."

Sephiroth was, of course, speaking of Sora.

It had caught him off guard, really. Such a weak-looking boy...but such amazing power. It had to do with the "keyblade," Sephiroth was sure of it. He looked now at the fighter, and anticipated this fight to be similar. He would have to be more cautious...

He sprouted his dark wing and enveloped himself in darkness, preparing for yet another battle with the blade.

[Xuan]

Riku muttered to himself, "First rule of survival: Never fight big bad guys. Well, they never say how exactly to run away from big bad guys that come looking for you. Curses." He looked up. Sephiroth had enveloped himself completely in the Darkness. Riku could pratically taste the danger that's rising beneath his heart. Somehow, he felt thrilled once again. Eager. The Darkness in his body is getting really annoyingly unstable. It cause some strange ripples in his emotions.

To hell with running. Defeating this guy would be safer. The Way To Dawn winked into his left arm. He readied himself in an offensive stance; his blade held high as he crouched a little.

"Show me what you got, Sephiroth."

[Helix: The True Hero]

"My dear boy, I will show you that and more. Tell me, have you ever seen death at its finest?"

Without missing a beat, Sephiroth summoned his blade and rushed at the opponent. With otherworldly speed, he weaved his way through the air particles, the darkness around him providing a sort of protective shielding.

Just as Sephiroth closed in on the fighter, he vanished, and re-appeared behind him, his blade careening through the chilly air.

[Xuan]

Riku never flinched even though the cold Darkness threatened to chill him to death from his back. With a swift motion, he began to parry Sephiroth's attack with his hands behind his back for he had no time to turn around. Forcing his senses to the limits, Riku's body suddenly became a whole much lighter. His composure never wavered as he parried the blow calmly, the aim of his blade never strike an inch more necessary but just enough to block the incoming blows, and he wasn't even looking behind! With one last hit, Riku rolled forwards and turned around to face Sephiroth, his Keyblade gleaming with power.

"MORNING STAR!" A wink of an eye later, Riku was in front of Sephiroth, his keyblade ready to deal a powerful blow on his gut.

John was badly injured in the fight, gripping his sides, "I hate this crapy-ass tornoment thing, god, I wish I can just go ho-" John collapsed to his knees and vometed some blood.

"john your have eternal bleeding, severel roken ribes, much muscle damage, and a broken right arm."

"Ring, I'm fine, really see." John sttod up and then coolapsed to his knees again. "Looks like my iron will won't be enough for this fight, no, I need help. ring can you bandage me up now,"

"Yes, John," and green bandages appeared around John's ribcage and shoulder and a cast appeared over his arm. "Hyperhealing activate, completion: 2 hours 24 minutes".

"And now to be the sitting duck," John settled himself in a cave.

The Morning Star is a powerful combo executed along with high speed to ensure its full effectiveness. Riku first struck Sephiroth in the gut before flipping behind him to deal a powerful slash behind his back. Then, he caught his opponent off guard by sweeping him off his legs before appearing in front of Sephiroth again to deal a mighty blow on his right shoulder.

Riku quickly leaped away from Sephiroth while holding his Keyblade forward, his breath shallow and quick. The strain on his body was getting to him. He knew the combo he had just dealt was not powerful enough to submit Sephiroth. He needed a way, and fast.

The Ice Climbers saw the top of a giant mountain then looked down as it shifted below them. Pink started to slip from her grip and slide against the rugged snow as the bottom of the mountain crashed into the water. Blue jumped below her and dug his hands underneath the snow, giving her a push. Pink jumped and landed on the tip of the mountain.
Blue jumped and balanced himself on top of her as well. The Gaming Gods smiled, their latest test wasn't going to do the job. With a bright light shining from above, two radiant gold hammers floated down from the heavens. Pink was the first to jump and grab one, swinging it behind her back. Blue reached forward and grabbed his smiling at his sister.
The snow beneath their hammers transformed into an Arctic ice block. Pink and Blue started to toss these freezing blocks of ice at the heroes from above.

[Tidus dude]

"IEEEE!!" mickey screamed trying to deflect the ice with his keyblade.

"One hit and I could be doomed!!!" Mickey screamed running around in circles. He is hit by an ice cube and is pulled back together. "I am the KING!! I am not going to let some ice harm me!!" Mickey said standing his guard.

He ran.

What else? He was injured and tired, his energies are sapped by the brutal fights; using super skills again and again doesn't exactly do good to your exhausted body. 'Morning Star' proved to be the tum-tigger as Riku suddenly fell to his knees, dizzy. It would do no good for him to stay anymore longer. In fact, if he did stay, he might be dead before he knew it.

And so he ran. Ran like never tomorrow.

Losing a battle is much better than dying. Dignity really didn't mean much to him.

He finally found a resting spot among the freezing ice and snow. The mountains may seemed to be inhabitable, but they had their ways of comunicating with the way of living. A turn around the next corner revealed a large cave that is cloaked by heavy snow. It was a relief, really, for he finally could rejuvenate.

And then it came. Blocks of ice began to rain onto him. It was a nightmare: As he ran and dodged and blocked and smashed aside countless of ice blocks that seemed to be blocking his way to his sanctuary, the fire within him was slowly dying. It won't be long until he needs to recast Firagun to himself if he were to survive the extreme.

But this damn rain of ice just won't stop! They just - won't - STOP! With a furious yell of anger, Riku aimed his Keyblades at the iceblocks and began to blast Dark Cannons like never tomorrow. However, his feet never stop moving towards the sanctuary he seeked, just twenty metres ahead. Fifteen... Ten... Five... TWO!

Riku missed a block of ice the size of a car crashing down on top of his head. Before he knew it, he was flattened like a pancake and instantly he lost consciousness. The ice cracked on impact when it struck his head, so he wasn't pinned down by the ice but the rain of ice kept on coming... They still are... So close... just one more and Riku would be 'game over'...

The strength of a true warrior came from not his might or skill, but his heart.

"Fire!" Fiery amber enveloped Riku as it licked and evaporated everything around him, be it snow, ice or even rocks. His body radiated with such heat and flames that the ice blocks were melted ten feet above him. But the volcanic eruption of fire magic was only momentary, and a split second later it was gone. Riku pratically had to crawl his way towards the cave in front of him when the power was gone.

How ironic would it be if I die flattened by ice when I had avoided the first... he gave a weak smirk before crawling on. he had only a few seconds left, the ice blocks began to rain on him again... One and a half metres... One metre... Half metre...

A chunk of huge ice shattered on impact just behind him as he was pushed forwards by the huge force behind him. But he was safe. The rain of ice began to seal the entrance behind him, but he knew that there would be holes within the massive chunks of ice, and that there would be air for him to breath, and he could get out any time any day as long as he gets his sleep...

And sleep he did. Immediately.

The Ice Climbers looked angry. Now they began to hit the mountain itself. Giant blankets of snow began to cascade down the mountains. Pink smiled as she began to hit the rock surface underneath. Icicles, Snow and Rocks began to fall into the rising water below. Anyone down there wouldn't last long. Blue jumped into the air and smiled. A shadowy figure appeared above them.

"You guys rang?" He said pulling his bow out. He was ready to destroy the competition. The Ice climbers pulled out their golden hammers and smiled, ready for battle.

Sonic - in all his blue, spikey glory - leapt onto mountain top. He stood for a moment, gaining his balance, before laughing.
"This is who I gotta fight?" he laughed, "Fine by me."
He leapt forward, confronting the Ice Climbers. He took a battle stance.

Pink ran forward, slipping on a rock and smashing into the blue creature. Blue ran over to help her up.
"Oh Go- I mean Gosh" said Pit running at Sonic holding two blades in his hands. "I'll fight you myself if I have to." He swung his blades in a circle and shot forward.

OOC: Alright alright, since I have an excuse that I've rested enough I will fight you... I wonder if I can take 3 on 1 >>

Rumble!

"Shut up, I'm trying to sleep here... zzZzz..."

Rumble!

"I get it i get it... I'll wake up... gimme a few more... minutes..."

BANG!!! "Ouchhwa!" A small piece of ice landed directly on Riku's stomach, propelling him into the air. He looked around wildly, trying to make sense why was he sleeping in a place so cold, so dark, and in fact -

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG

"Oh my god, why must I remember why am I here... Never mind I'll just GET OUTTA HERE! Dark Cannon!" A single blast on the blocked entrance opened the road towards the outside world as he ran outside, trying to scan the icy world around him.

First look at the front of his eyes said that the world is cruel. Gushing waves of killing water (For being so cold) began to pour up to his feet. Scambling to find a way upwards, he took the first step to climb up the snow wall beside him, looking up for a way to go top -

"AVALANCHE!!!" Riku never thought he would get to scream something so epic in the TV, not that he really liked the idea of being buried under the snow just for the luxury of saying it. He pondered over his decisions: Go up and die a terrible death of suffocation and frost, or go down and die an even worse death of suffocation and frost. Which way to go? Up! "Light and Darkness!"

Immediately Riku tranformed into his LD Form and flew towards the air, just before the snow would bury and the water will wash him downwards. In the air now, he realised that these strange phenomenons were cause by... two kids with golden hammers and axes plus a funny looking guy with a bow. This served to annoy him further.

What to do with people who annoys you? You simply smack some senses into their heads. And so Riku flew towards the trio, determined to... smack some senses into their heads. Voila The Way To Dawn.

Pink got back up and saw a target. She jumped into the air swinging her hammer and Blue launched himself from her at the foe. He spun around in the air like a helicopter and Pink threw her rope at him, it caught right on the tip off the hammer and sent her flying around in circles, to Pit it looked something like a ball and chain being swung in all directions. The hammers they held started to glow bright gold and ice shot out from every direction.

Apparently the two kiddos were very nice to watch. As the pink kid was spinned around by the blue child like a cowboy on rampage, something bizarre happened: The golden hammer was shooting ice like machine gun! But this did nothing to unfaze Riku. A murmur later an unseen barrier of Wind surrounded him as he saw the ice bouncing of his shield harmlessly. Clearly the kids needed a little lesson of battle. Aiming The Way To Dawn at them, he fired numerous amounts of Dark Cannons at them, hoping that this would stop their onslaught of attack.

But his true worries remained at the other guy. The guy with the bow. He had not yet interfered the battle.

What if he did?

Pink launched herself at the foe and pulled Blue with her. They blocked some of the hits but some still shot off them and singed. Pink did something Blue didn't expect and ducked, causing Blue to fly right into a forcefield around the enemy.

Pink laughed as she landed on the ground and threw her hammer at the shield.

Pink ran forward, slipping on a rock and smashing into the blue creature. Blue ran over to help her up.
"Oh Go- I mean Gosh" said Pit running at Sonic holding two blades in his hands. "I'll fight you myself if I have to." He swung his blades in a circle and shot forward.

Sonic laughed at the small, overdressed guy that stood before him. He raised an eyebrow, before jumping over the eskimo. He span on the ground, picking up speed, before leaping at the blue bundle.

Ok, this is interesting. As Pink threw the golden hammer at Riku, the Wind Barrier he casted around him suddenly dissolved into nothing, to his utmost surprise. With the blue kid propelling towards him at full force, he had no choice but to roll through the air suddenly, hoping that he could dodge the assault.

Pit flew after Sonic and slipped a foot out as to trip him before he could get to Blue. Pink however jumped up and grabbed her hammer sending it again after the mysterious enemy. Blue pulled him hammer down and swung up at him, sending a wave of ice flying after him. Pit retrieved an arrow and aimed it at Blue's enemy and released. It soared through the air.

OOC: Oooh, aerial attack! If I am Sora I would just dodge everything and hit you lol, but for fun's sake...

Just managing to control his flight, Riku turned his gaze just in time to discover that all three enemies were aiming their attacks at him. The pink girl threw another hammer at him (Which he wondered where did she pick up from), the guy fired a high velocity arrow and the blue child swinging a wave of ice. Seems to be deadly enough for any ordinary fighter alright.

A grin formed on his face. He was no ordinary fighter. As he continued his flight towards them; determined to fight a land based battle instead of getting shot in the air; he slowly neutralised the threats around him. First, he broke the wave of ice with a single slash from his Keyblade. Next, he picked off the arrow with a slight flick wth his Keyblade and see it alter its direction and flew behind him. He was amazed by the strength behind the arrow though.

The hammer. Riku knew that nothing good would come if that hammer hits anywhere of his body, and perhaps it would knock him off course if he tries to block it.

What to do then?

Avoid contact. Riku merely moved away a bit from the hammer's course and to nothngness it goes: A complete miss. Landing softly on the land, he poised his Keyblade to attack.

He smiled.

Pit laughed taking his bow into two parts and flying at Riku, spinning both blades in both hands and swiping at Riku swiftly. Blue grabbed the second hammer and flew forward swinging them both in a tornado like movement.

Pink jumped in the air and landed on pits shoulder, pulling out a rope and a pick-axe. Pit smiling as he slashed at Riku and Pink spun her rope in all directions.

Unsheathing his Keyblade, Riku calmly flashed his Keyblade towards the enemies and sort their threats slowly one by one. Standing his ground, he did something he hadn't done for a long time.

Play defense.

As Pit flew towards him and slashing, Riku parried every single slash thrown at him, his blade never moved more than necessary, his Keyblade dancing around like a true angel. With one quick swipe of his Keyblade, he batted the dual blades away and proceed to face the nado likes of blue child. Swinging hammers is dangerous alright, but Riku knew how to face such an enemy. To meet brute force, there is always two ways. You fight back with the same brute force, or you simply direct them away. The time seemed to slow down as Riku widened his senses, trying to see through the web of smashing the blue boy had covered himself in. A light dawned in his eyes as he swiftly pushed the first hammer away to the left, catching his enemy off balance before kicking the second hammer off his hands. But the third one is much more trickier. The first two opponents had meant to delay him for the pink kid to attack, and they succeeded despite Riku already knew about it. The axe gleamed as if it was eager for blood as the rope caught his feet and he was swept off ground. But he ain't finish yet, no.

"STOP!" Time around pink kid was stopped instantly as Riku quickly released himself from entanglement and delivered a punch on her face.(Is it a she?) Without waiting for a retaliation, Riku quickly leaped away, worried about what would happen next. So far, he had not many chance to strike the enemy. he stared at Sonic.

"Er, you can help me out now. In fact, help me as much as you can ok?"

Pit was shocked. He pulled out a shield and threw it at his enemy, and jumped on it coming rather fast. Aiming with his bow and arrow he aimed several blue arrows at the enemy. Pink picked her hammer back up and sent ice flying all over the place. Blue jumped on Pink's shoulders and created a barrier of Ice waves flying forward. Pit used his steady aim and carefully slid the string back.

The enemies began to pour out their 'Rain of Icy Death' again, and Riku was getting tired about it. The blue arrows are nearly invisible for their colours seemed to look the same as the ice, but it doesn't matter now. He remembered what he could do when he was near death just now.

"FIRE!" A gigantic wave of flames began to surround his body as his power level grew higher and higher. In LD Form, he is truly invincible. The powers he could reached is simply unimaginable. Sometimes, Riku himself was worried whether such power would crush him in return, but there was no point of thinking about that now. He held The Way To Dawn in front of him and unleashed a huge fire blast at his enemies. All the ice and arrows they threw at him were either melted or burned away.

If they do not dodge it quick, they would suffer some serious damage. That is what Riku had suspected. Fight cold with warmth. Fight Ice, with Fire.

The Mountain shook below the fire and sunk into the depths of the ocean below. The three legends looked up towards the sky and a bright light sucked them into the clouds.

OOC: Er, if you sunk the mountain what would happen to the other guys? There are no place to stand! Never mind, I'll see what I can do to help the situation... :D

Riku was surprised to see that the three mysterious enemies were sucked away by a strange beam of light, and his mouth dropped even wider when he saw the destruction that he had caused. The entire Ice Mountain is collapsing, he's going to drown pretty quickly! Luckily he could fly, or else he would be truly one with the nature underneath the ice and water, his body forever preserved even when he's dead because of the extreme coldness around here. One day his corpse would be dug out of the ice by lucky researchers who will take his body back to their labs, open his stomach and...

"Why on earth am I think of these nonsense??" Riku yelled outloud as he shrugged his head and looked around for a landing spot. He noticed that even though the mountain was gone, there are uncountable numbers of small icebergs around the area. He immediately landed on one of them before reverting back to his normal self, sulking.

I wonder how many cash would I have to pay if i were ever get caught by the police for destroying nature... The thought of his know-it-all teacher revealing this in front of everyone is almost unbearable by thought... even though it's impossible for her to know... (Riku was completely ignorant to the fact that everyone else aside him took the huge surprise without even knowing what's going on. And more importantly, who did it.)

Stahn was freaking out. "It's sinking faster!?" He started runnin in circles, panicking beyond all reason. "Sinking too much!"

Dymlos sighed, "Calm down." The blade glowed, and just as the tip of the mountain went under, Dymlos was exerting power. "Walk...now."

Stahn blinked. He was standing on water. "Wow...I'm walking on water!?"

"No...you're hovering. Now move, I can't keep this up for long." Dymlos said, his voice strained.

"R-right!" Stahn started to walk, balancing very carefully. I have to find land...

How had he gotten himself into this?

This was exactly what Sephiroth was wondering as he hung onto the edge of an icy cliffside. A canyon loomed below, prepared to swallow Sephiroth whole once he lost grip of the ice. His darkness was repressing itself, and retreating deep within Sephiroth's soul, staying far out of his reach. He tried calling it forth, but alas, it wouldn't listen.

His grip loosened, then gave way, and he began his plummet to the waters below. The wind rushed past him at light-speed, waving through his hair and dark wing. He tried summoning his blade but, as with the darkness, it would not come forth...would not save him.

"Will it really end this way...?"

It looked to be so. As he neared the water's surface, he knew that everything he had done in this game, that everyone he had fought, that all the things he had done to survive...were all for naught. It was inevitable, and he and everybody else knew it.

Sora wandered around... "again new place... it's slippery...", said Sora and transformed into final form and started to glide. "Much better.."

But he wouldn't give in.

Again, he attempted to summon the darkness. He focused on thought to release the holds that bound his power. He thought of his past, of the darkness that veiled him ever since that fateful dance with Jenova; thought of Cloud, and all the trouble he had stowed upon him during times of great grievance.

It came forth. Darkness surged from every molecule of his body, and slowed him to a stop just above the water's edge. An icy chill emanated from the liquid and cast a glowing aura on Sephiroth's wing. He found more darkness, and used it to levitate himself over to a small island, where he lay down to catch his breathe. He craned his neck upward to view the distance he had fallen, and sighed with a mix of relief and.....fear?

Sora was gliding around... then he decided to glide upwards... he glided and watched down to new land... "Sinking Ice Mountain... it's perfect name.", said Sora... everything was in Ice... and sinking

With faltered movement, Sephiroth used the darkness to hoist himself up and out of the canyon, being careful not to get struck by falling chunks of ice. He drew his sword and sliced widely around himself, forcing the feeling back into his limbs. The desecrating cold certainly took its toll on him, but surely wouldn't be stopping him any time soon.

As he reached the top-edge of the canyon, he noticed Sora gliding around the icy plateaus a short distance away, but he didn't bother to approach him. Not only was he still weakened from the fall, but avoided contact with any unnecessary opponents was probably best for now.

He allowed Sora to glide safely out of view, and with him, a chance at revenge...

Sora noticed Sephiroth... "Damn!!! But not now... I don't want to involve in battle...", said Sora and glided further.

Sephiroth then turned his attention to a magnificent ice-statue not far away. It was huge, to say the least, and gleamed like diamond in the early mountain light.

"Next goal....destroy the statue."

He had no chances to train the entire time he had been locked in this game, and thought that now would be the best of any given time to begin. He drew his blade again, somersaulted into the air, and came back down, slamming his blade into the icy surface. Stalagmites of darkness shot from the ground near the statue and broke chunks off the bottom. The statue rumbled as it took damage from the attack, but still managed to hold strong.

With that, Sephiroth called forth his meteor spell and aimed his palm at the statue, directing meteors toward it. The heat alone was more than the figure could bear, but the shock of the collision was the one to finish it. As bits and pieces of the now decimated statue fell back to the earth, Sephiroth fused darkness with his blade and used speed to slice in half every last fragment. He landed on the ground, his smile the representation of victory.

It may not have been the best form of training, but it would have to do for now...

Sora heard a blast "Sephiroth...", said Sora, but he had other goal... find Yuna and finish all once and for all...

Nero woke up in a new base.
"Not again," he muttered as his eyes adjusted to the dim lights.
Not even bothering to look at the message, he walked outside. He already knew what it would say.
As he stepped outside, Nero was surprise to see that he was underwater.
"What the f---!!!!" he shouted, and gurgled at the same time.
He slapped the water with his demon arm and sent himself flying into the air.
Once he landed on dry land he looked around for wood to make a fire. He found nothing.
"Damn..." he muttered.

It took Riku a few rambling minutes before he would keep his mouth shut and looked at the place around him. Well, nothing's changed much, he reckon. Only a mountain less, he must say, only a mountain less.

But a mountain twice the size of a normal one? What exactly is happening to his powers? Riku had long tried to convince himself that the intense fire he had created melted the core of the ice mountain somewhere and caused it to collapse. Easy. It was just that my power accidentally hit the core of the mountain, and it fell apart.

But what if... What if his powers are growing beyond his control? Way beyond his control? Already he could felt the turmoil of Light and Darkness fighting in his heart, and each time he used the LD Form the pain in his heart grew a little bit stronger. Riku had to admit that -

That he was afraid. Afraid that one day, his powers would destroy him instead of the enemy he would faced in the future. He must solve this problem before it is too late. He knew that he would need to use this form more often in the future, for the enemies seemed to grow stronger with each round... Okay, maybe only Go Han, but there still are the mysterious enemies, like the one he encountered just now.

Is it the pet of the player... or even players behind all this? This mindless battles?

He wouldn't know, he definitely wouldn't know now. He had one thing to do, and that is meditate and solve his heart's problem before he burst himself into shark food. Ugh.

And so he closed his eyes, and meditate.

John got up and his bandages dissappeared, "Thank you Ring, what would I do with out you." Then John flew off, breaking the sound barrier so that everyone could hear that he's back.

Sora was still looking for Yuna. "WHERE IS YUNA!!!", shouted Sora aloud.

John was flying through the air, "Ring, search for Team Hache members." severel small green orbs flew out of his ring.

John made a giant umbrella to cover him from a sudden blizzard, "I hate the cold."

sora was tired. He landed and sat to rest. But before that he summoned light and wraped into it. "This will protect me from freezing", said Sora

Fox looked around, sniffing the air. "Sinking... this place is sinking..." He was standing at the edge of a cliff overlooking the vast endless ocean before him. Why are we here? of all places... he hated the cold. Fox pressed a button on his wrist terminal and the internal heating systems of his suit engaged. "snow..." He reached out his hand, catching some of the tiny flakes in his palm. He let the snow gather for a few seconds, then squeezed his fist shut, forming the snow into a small ball. "Heh..." He tossed the ball forward and watched it plumett into the ocean below. "The water was lower a minute ago..."
The speed of the sinking is increasing... we're sinking faster by the second...
Why a sinking glacier? Why not a nice even battle arena that WASN'T SINKING? He sighed. Oh well... he would find someone and kill them before they were fully underwater...

John flew to Fox's position. "Hey, McCloud, need a lift?"

"Maybe..." Fox raised an eyebrow at john. "Why, are you not going to try to kill me?" His hand twitched, ready to pull out his pistol any second in case of a trap.

"... I could just push this cliff and you will plumit to the ocean, but I don't like fighting that. So do you want to fight on more solid ground or what?" John then made a giant hand for Fox to hop on.

Fox thought for a second, then stepped onto the hand.
If this is a trick... He thought I'm going to kill him...

Sora stood up. "It's time to search for opponent..", said Sora and glided into sky

John flew them to more solid ground and dropped Fox down with a thud. "Well lets go, Fox." He made a sword out of his green energy.

Fox smiled. "I think you missed something." He pulled a small stick with a button at the end out of his pocket and pressed the button. "Couldn't resist mate." He smirked. A beeping sound came from johns leg just above his ankle.

"Oh sh-" there was a giant explosion and John was forced to his knees. His force field took most of the damage, but it still caused him much pain.

Fox stood over john, his pistol drawn. "Be more careful next time, mate." Then he fired.

"You should to Fox," John jumped back before Fox could pull the rigger and shot him with an energy beam.

Sora heard explosion. "So, someone is fighting.", said Sora calmly, "It looks I'm gonna watch it from sky.", said Sora and thought, what kind of move will make Fox or John next...

Fox mbarely managed to throw his reflector forward in time, but it wasnt fully powered up when the energy beam hit it. The beam hit the reflector, pushing it back. The reflector slammed into fox, sending him flying backaward. He hit the ground and slid backward on the ice, eventually coming to a stop in a snowdrift. "Son of a-" Before his could finish his sentence something sharp grazed his hand. "Ow, what the?" He looked up in time to see a sharp icicle falling toward him. He quickly jumped to the side, dodging it. He watched the sky.
My god...
It was raining icicles.

John created a giant dome overhead, "Your not usiong this as an excuse," and John removed his Ring, "Lets make this a fair fight," and John's uniform was replaced with his normal street clothes, "All i have now is my fist and a thermil level shield to keep me warm."

Fox threw his gun to the side. "I like this kind of fight." He got down on all four legs, baring his teeth. Then he charged, running forward on all four legs, dashing like a normal fox would. He roared, jumping into the air, his mouth open, aiming to rip johns throat out with his sharp teeth.

John grabbed Fox by the neck and threw him a few feet away. "Well, that was a little to close for confort."

Sora dodged icicles "What the..? Never mind... it must be a test.", thought Sora and continued to watch, "Man, I wish for Yuna would be here... then I could get great fight..."

Fox growled, circling around john, looking for a weak spot. His claws gave him great traction on the ice, he didnt slip at all. His eyes were blood red, his ancient predator instincts surfacing.

"Come on cloud, you afraid of me or somthing, bring it on!" John was ready for almost anything... almost anything.

Fox ran forward, jumping at johns throat again, his eyes ablaze, his mouth watering. And to johns surprise, he passed right through him...

The illusion disappeared, and the real fox stood behind john. "Fool." He said. Then her fired his pistol into johns back.

John lay there, on the floor, not moving, not breathing, his eyes white. The ring flew up to the air, "Green lantern of sector 2814, also known as green lantern 2814.2, current status:deceased. scanning space sector for replacment green lnatern.

Sephiroth took a long look at the statue remnants and sighed. He was ready now, feeling compelled to fight someone worthy to match his level of strength. He scanned the icy landscape for any sign of life, and when he had spotted a potential target, summoned the darkness to his feet and hovered over the terrain and into the vastness of the mountain region.

"I will not fail again..." he muttered ominously as he made his way to the mountain path.

Fox walked up to johns body. "Pathetic... humans never learn to watch their backs." He turned ans walked away, didging the occasional icicle falling from the sky. "Maybe now I'll get some answers."
