Floating Metal City

The heroes find themselves in a world unlike any of the previous. Giant metal buildings surround them and weapons appear all around from crevices and holes, lasers begin to point at them. As they run and try to get to the edge of the city they realize they are propelled over 10,000 feet into the air. The world underneath them looks smaller than anything they've ever seen. A tower in the distance flashes a bright red light and signals they must get to it, while avoiding the ground below, the harsh wind, and the lasers firing on them as they near it.

A crimson beacon appeared to beckon to Sakura, suspiciously maintained in a sky-scraping structure toward the very heart of the city. It was as if she was a knight in shining armor, rescuing a princess at the highest tower. Of course, this metropolitan district high in the sky had enough shininess for everybody. It was spammed chrome that Sakura had to work with if she wanted to advance.

OOC: Really? Oh, cool.

BIC: Lucas was frightened as he noticed the terrain. This confused him quite a bit-- a landscape completely made up of silver and metal. This was a very strange location. However, there was no getting out of this strange place. He'd gotten this far. He couldn't let a strange change in terrain effect his fighting. He had to survive. He knew not, nor did he want to know, what would happen to him if he wasn't to be chosen to continue.

Standing on the top of a large chrome wall, he could see a few of the other contestants of this affair of survival-- all the while, wondering how he would survive when he could be so easily noticed.

Bullets streaked out of teeny, metal instruments mounted on cubic figures. They echoed their silver color identically, disguising them, and making things more complicated for Sakura. She sheltered herself in a void, metallic arch sweeping over her as she assembled her thoughts before she could hurtle out to try and triumph over the shooting mechanisms.

From the depths of the city the readings went off the chart. Samus pressed her metal hand onto a button nearby and watched as the doors revealed an open light source. She climbed out of the room and watched the door shut behind her, the clang of metal on metal resounded through the city. She was standing on top of the red tower and looked down spotting two opponents. With the force of a tank she lifted herself off the railing and slid down the large tower. Her suit scraped against the side of the building as it fell.

[Helix: The True Hero]

How he had managed to stay alive up to now is as un-answerable as who had sent them all here in the first place.

But what mattered most now was continuing the impossible missions that lay before him. Sephiroth may not know what may be in store for him in the future, but now was the time to fight. Now was the time to survive.

"It's not over, Mother. I swear, with all the darkness of my being, you will be avenged..."

Sephiroth closed his eyes, the vision of the volcano melting away, back into nothingness. A new image appeared. An image of metal, of pain, of death....

The picture in his mind seemed to interfuse with the environment around him, for the world he was envisioning was quite real. He saw it all: The city, manufactured completely out of metal, and surrounded on all sides by nothingness, was his home now. He would have to make due with what he had...and what he did not have.

Constant clamor of bullets fired upon metal was cut short and displaced by an awful shrieking from the tower’s peak. Sakura’s hair thrust into the air, each like small exclamation points reacting to the metal-on-metal uproar. Who was that bizarre figure slithering down to the city?

Samus came crashing into the metal surface leaving a massive crater below her. Her life-scan helmet readings told her not much of the competition was nearby by. She began to charge her blast cannon and step forward, anxiously awaiting the fight with one of these so-called "Heroes." She clang of the metal surface resounded as she stepped onto the streets of the city. The laser came from their hiding place and read her suit scans, then retreated back. She glanced up towards the sky, the Red Beacon still lit up the sky.

Link looked around, wondering if any magentism would be used here. That would be to his advantage. He looked up, to a red, blinking light on a tower. That's where he had to go. "This place seems str- AHHH!!!" Navi's vpoice rang. Link jumped to the side as a red laser shot towards him coming from some sort of mechanical device. He rolled on the ground, dodging as he rolled, and chucked a bomb at the machine. Hoping it would break. There was the small noise of a small explosion. This was going to be difficult for Link. "Well... nice, quick thinking, Link." Navi cheered, in a happy tone.

Link was pushed back some by a strong wind. He saw a note. Then he began to head forward.. so far, seeing nothing he could use for his advantage... He tthen heard an insane shrieking noize, worse then the annoyingzombies that he had to fight. He looked up, and saw tiny spraks falling down the tower. "Who's that?" Navi wondered. Link ignored, still making his way forward.

Samus emerged onto the main street to see two figures coming towards her. She waved a hand at the lasers and they stopped firing. She beckoned her opponents forward holding her charged cannon up at the one with the sword. The one with he staff didn't seem much of a threat yet.
"What is your purpose here" resonated her voice from within the helmet. To a normal human she would look like a man, but appearances weren't everything.

Seeing the metallic marvel plummeting down and making a swift landing, Lucas gasped. It looked familiar... he couldn't quite put his hands on it... He took a deep breath, aware of what exactly it was that he was getting himself into. He gulped, then pushed his body forward as he fell down, down, down from the chrome wall.

Using his psychic abilities to stop himself from an impending and brutal death, he stopped his body only a few inches away from the ground. Then placing his feet onto the ground, the young psychic examined the being in armor.

"Is that...?" Lucas said quietly to himself, slowly walking closer to the two females, Samus and Sakura.

Link heard ehr clearly. He didn't speak. But, of course, Navi had to butt in. "We're here to survive!" she said in an annoying, high pitched voice. It could probably sound higher or lower by machine ears, but that didn't matter.. much. Link looked at the.. person. Not sure whether this person was a friend or foe, he stood in a defense position, the weapons seemd very different.

His strength had finally returned. After the incident in the Ice Mountains, Sephiroth's arm had slowly regained its vitality. Now that it was back at full, battle would be much less stressful.

He noticed a metallic tower, topped with a luminescent red light, and was overcome with a bizarre, otherworldly feeling. Something was urging him to go there, and that something important would happen if he was successful. Without hesitance, Sephiroth summoned the darkness to his wing and raised himself high into the thinly-oxygenated air. Before he could ascend, however, an unknown force pulled him back to the mineral-infused surface.

"Hmm..." he muttered. It seems that flying wouldn't be a factor in this journey. He sighed, and infused darkness with his feet to begin the sprint to the tower.

Stahn had just reached the top of the mountain when-

He blinked. "This is the oddest looking volcano I've ever seen." He looked around, seeing the metal floor as far as he could see. "Something tells me..."

"This isn't the volcano, Stahn." Dymlos hummed. "It's a new realm."

Stahn blinked, "Really..." He sighed, "We keep warping, all for what?"

"I'm not sure-" Dymlos started, but was interrupted as a laser turret activated, and aimed at the two. "Duck!"

Stahn blinked, "What? Duck? Where?" He looked at the laser turret, and yelped as it fired, ducking under the deadly beam of energy. "Why didn't you tell me!?"

Dymlos growled, "I did, you idiot!"

Stahn growled, "Fireball!" He held his arm up, and pulsed a few blasts of fire at the machine, incinerating it. "That...was close."

Dymlos sighed, "Yeah, it was."

Stahn turned around, and then took a step back. "Uh...oh..." Seven more turrets had appeared. "This...is...gonna...suck..."

Samus smiled as the three enemies stood around her. The one with a sword had a fairy to speak for him, curious. She let a missile explode from her cannon and watched as it flew at Link. From behind she aimed a blast cannon at the Blonde boy, energy burst in every direction. He turned to the girl, not expecting the other two to survive.
These are no ordinary beings. Called the echoing voice of her master. She turned to watch the smoke reveal the figures, to see if they were dead or breathing.

[Helix: The True Hero]

Gliding along the metal surface, Sephiroth heard the sound of turret beams in the distance. He looked behind him to see if anybody was pursuing, or if any turrets were firing. When all seemed calm, he swiveled his head back to front, only to be greeted by an incoming blast from one of the very things he was hoping to avoid.

Instinct instantly kicking in, Sephiroth brought up his blade and attempted to deflect the shot. When metal and pure energy collided, he gasped in surprise. These beams were forcible, heaving Sephiroth onto the ground. Another beam follow suit of the first, and directed itself at the grounded man.

He wouldn't let it strike him. With a surge of darkness, Sephiroth shot himself into the air, narrowly avoiding the projectile, then another. He needed to find the source of these beams! When the culprit turret was spotted, Sephiroth called forth a rain of meteors and bombarded the turret. To no avail, it remained strong and sturdy.

To keep from being struck by another beam, Sephiroth positioned himself directly below the turret, keeping well out of its sights. Half exhausted, he brought up his blade and attempted to slice it in half.

Link had decided. Not a friend. He quickly got out a bomb arrow and let go. He had hit the missle, but a piece of shrap metal still scraped aginst his left hand, a cut forming. If only a random heart would appear. He grimanced in pain, then took out another bomb arrow, and aimed it towards the person's chest. The he let go. the smoke making a tail, as the arrow cut through the horrendous winds. He hoped it would work. He was also thinking that now might be a good time to use the four-sword.. but he wanted to save that for later. So now, he would just stick with his bow.

Samus flew back from the force, her armor energy dropped to 75%. She pried herself from the large dent in the wall where she had been slammed and pressed a button on her cannon. She let the whip fly out and aimed at the Sword bot. She swung it around aiming at his stomach. With good aim she spotted it go around him and pulled him tight.
"Clever Fairy-boy" laughed Samus. "This might be a good fight."

Stahn panted, leaning agianst Dymlos for support. All seven of the turrets lay in shreds around him. "I'm...getting...to...old...for...this."

Dymlos sighed, "You're too old?" If he could roll his eyes, he would have done it.

Stahn hefted the blade across his shoulder. "Let's go..." He dashed forward, in search of an enemy. This time, I'm going on the offensive!

Lucas gasped as the great discharge of energy was shot in his direction. It flew towards him with amazing speed. He gasped. He had to think quickly if he were to survive this attack, though Lucas could not think for too long.

And at that moment, an idea popped into his head. This would, hopefully, stop the attack. He gulped, then concentrated his energy... This had to be perfect. Lucas had to time this perfectly. Taking a deep sigh, he waited for the blast of energy to reach close enough to him...

As the attack dealt by Samus Aran was only a mere five inches away from him, Lucas held his small, scrawny arms out in front of him as a small blue sphere began to form around him. What was this? It was his PSI Magnet, capable of absorbing energy-based attacks. However, this looked not like any ordinary energy beam. It looked more powerful, and Lucas only had so much energy in him.

The attack collided with the PSI Magnet. The two fought to get past eachother, every few seconds, the PSI Magnet absorbing a bit of the energy. Lucas could keep this up no longer. Letting the PSI Magnet ability free, the remainder of the attack struck him head-on, pushing him onto the ground. It was powerful. He didn't even want to think about what would happen to him if he were to have taken the full brunt of the blow. He groaned loudly, trying to get up. His physical strength, however, would not allow it.

[Helix: The True Hero]

"Unstoppable, it seems..." Sephiroth inquired. The turret above him scrambled to locate his heat signature. All the while, the man below was desperate to destroy it, and continued slashing at the base.

After what seemed like an eternity, the base gave way, and the turret creaked and tangled straight to the ground. Sephiroth didn't have time to stop and rest, however. Another beam found its way to his location, and made contact. Sephiroth was stunned, and slammed into a nearby wall of metal.

"Not again...I will not be the victim..."

Ignoring the pain, he summoned a dark firaga and parried another beam, while at the same time walking calmly toward the newly regenerated turret. He cast another dark firaga to parry a second beam. Then a third. Then a fourth. The turret took on the impression of panic, and began firing more and more shots, faster than previous ones. Without a bead of sweat to indicate exhaustion, Sephiroth deflected almost every incoming shot.

Almost every shot...

She spotted the blond kid and watched as a blue aura appeared around. She was curious to see what he would do with it. The Blue cannon shot collided with the shield and began to shrink in size. Damn. She though clicking her cannon she pulled a remote mine censor and rolled it towards him.

Link gasped as the laser whip, wrapped around him. Twitching. It stung like heck. "Link, use the four sword!" Navi informed. Link nodded, and took out his sword, then stapped it into the gorund. A bright flash of lgiht, and the whip was around nobody, but between four small kids, each wearing a different color.

Samus turned her attention to the swordsman who suddenly became four swordsboys she watched how they moved agitated. With e bit of her energy gone from her suit she needed to destroy the copies and eliminated the original. She pulled her whip back out and aimed at capturing them all in one blow.

Lucas, still groaning, slowly forced himself up, his lack of muscles being his enemy at this point. He used up most of his energy on that energy beam alone. Imagining what other attacks this strange newcomer had in it's arsenal worried Lucas greatly. He noticed the strange device that she had equipped pointing directly at him. What was this? Could he manage to survive it?

I'm... not going to make it... at this rate..., Lucas thought to himself. He did not want to use his PSI Magnet for this one. It'd require too much of his power just to stop the attack-- whatever it'd be. He had to rely on his offensive attacks this time, rather than his defensive attacks. I... have to do this...

"Who... are you...," Lucas weakly asked the metallic death-dealer.

A stray shot from a third, unseen turret dug itself into Sephiroth's back. He groaned and, without another word, fell to the ground, the cold metallic surface chilling his face.

"Gah!" The links said, as they were captured in the lazer. They needed to find a way out.. But how. They needed to call upon the four sword's power, but they couldn't do that right now. Theny the four got it. they all took out asmall feather. And, to what may be the person's annoyance? They started jumping around in all directions, left, right, forward, back, like little, eritating jumping beans. They were being hurt but they tried their best to get out. The laser stinging their body.

They could only hoped, and they jumpedd. When they landed, they all took a long, breath, and jumped with all their might, going what would be rather high, but, it depended on how strong the laser whip was. They were in pain, but they could only hope to get out, their tunics starting to get burned.

Samus cursed under her breath. She couldn't handle 5 enemies, no matter what her suits power levels were, subsequently that happened to be a mere 49%. She watched as the Blond Boy stepped forward the explosion going off behind him.
"I am Samus" she said. Without a moment to spare she threw a couple more bombs after him.
She turned her attention back to the annoying swordsmen and saw them bouncing around. She released the whip on them and sent rockets flying after them, not only rockets but heat seeking ones as well.

Quickly, while they were in the air, they took out weird rods witha rred gems ontop. They each shot a firball at the missle. The explosion made hem go higher, but still damged them a bit. they had to prevail... They had to.. Sudden'y, a light came from thier sowrds. They grinned. They all landed with a small thud. Then they charged up, their sword blinked once. They needed to get this done. It had to do something.. it had to. They were in a cross position.. It was only a matter of seconds until it blinked twice.. They had their eyes shut tight, hoping for a mircale that they wouldn't be attacked.

Lucas gasped as his ears immediately heard the explosion behind him. The magnitude of the explosion pushed him forward with great force. His eyes then widened as the one named Samus threw more and more explosives his way as he was sent forward. He did not have time to make a PSI Magnet, nor could he miraculously avoid them. He sighed. Was this the end for him?

Yet again, another idea snapped into his mind. He only had a bit more psychic energy left within him. Using this would most likely use it all up. He had to use the rest wisely. Concentrating his energy, he sent flames erupting from his cranium towards the bombs, making them explode.

"PK Fire!!" Lucas shouted as the flames exploded one bomb, the explosion causing the ones next to them to explode, and so on until each were taken care of. The large explosions were great, sending Lucas flying back. He had taken care of those, but could he handle what was next in store for him? Samus was a powerful being.

Samus stared, not wanting to attack but at the same time curious to see what they could do. She eyed them in confusion, her power suit began to dwindle though and she still need to take them out. She just stood there watching the four boys hold up their swords.
From her side she was hit by a massive explosion or fire and went flying to the side into a building her power levels dropped to 15% and she glared at the Blond kid who had done it. She cursed and charged her laser.

The swords blinked again. "CHYAA!!!" They all screamed, and then they made a circle, they were spinning, an orange aura around them. They were spinning fast, and wide. Then, they moved. They moved quickly towards Samus, still spinning. They hoped this would make a hit. It was one of their last attacks...

[Helix: The True Hero]

Do you feel it, boy? Do you feel death? The very thing you've embraced your whole life?

"Wh....who is this?"

Why, Sephiroth...you don't recognize me? I'm your mother...Jenova...

"No....you can't be. You can't...be.."

Why is it so hard to believe? You said, no, you promised that you would avenge me. You threw your life away, as well as your friends. You were once revered as a hero in Shinra...but look at you now. Clinging to the darkness, with no way out. You've truly brought yourself down, haven't you...?"

"I....

....I may not know who you are, but I know who you aren't..."

And who might that be?

"My mother..."

Samus flew back as a mass of swords collided with her. She was hit from every angle at the same time. He armor began to fall off one by one the pieces fell to the ground. An explosion from her cannon collided around her. She kicked one link in the face, another in the stomach, a third in the legs and jumped on the fourth ones face gliding into the air and grabbing a poll above. With a swing she shot onto the roof of a building and ran.
With a snap of her fingers lasers appeared again aiming at her enemies.
"Catch me if you can" she laughed. Without her suit she was actually faster than anything she could imagine, and she knew they wouldn't do much harm.

Lucas gasped. She was charging up her energy beam again. Lucas could not afford to get hit with this again. It would, no doubt, be the end of him if it hit. The last one was powerful enough, and he hadn't even taken the full brunt of the attack. Being hit with this, and with no PSI Magnet to defend himself with, he was certainly in a life-threatening predicament.

He began to panic. Scurrying around the battlefield, he looked for a place in which he could possibly hide. He couldn't fight back any longer using his psychic powers. He had to rely solely on natural resources around him to fight until he regained enough strength to fight back.

About thirty feet behind him was the large chrome wall which he stood on before. He could hide behind there, right? Hopefully, the laser beam wouldn't be powerful enough to blast through, but he had a better chance of surviving behind there than in the open. Taking the opportunity, Lucas scuttled over towards the wall, going as fast as his pudgy legs would allow. He had to hurry and get behind that wall, and fast, before Samus exterminated him. Her power levels were running low. He only needed to survive a bit longer...

And as the smaller lasers shot towards him and the others, he scampered a bit faster, trying to survive this epic bout.

The links gasped for breath, joining together. They grinned. They looked at hte armor laying on the ground. They each took out a slingshot, and put a piece of armor in it. They aimed and... BLAM! They let go. They pieces of armor flying through the air. Those could hurt someone, you know. Then they all stabbed their swords iunto the ground. Another flash of light, and they were regular Link. Link was holding the Master Sword. He dodged the Lasers the best He could. Then, one laser had crossed the line... the laser... it.. it.. "LINK!! OMG!! Are you going to stand for that!? That laser just made you haveun-even hair!!"Navi's voice exclaimed. Link was enraged. It took him FOREVER to get his hair nice, and now the machine had ruined it. Now he shall get his revenge...

The blue bomber had blacked-out once more. A couple of seconds passed before he finally regained control over his numb body. His eyes opened first, and then his other body movements followed. He shook his head, trying to straighten his dizzy eyesight.

"It looks like we've made it to the next round," MegaMan said as he rubbed his eyes. "I have a good feeling that we are in another realm, too."

After his eyesight became clear, the alien on the blue warrior's left arm led him to the exit. The alien, Omega-Xis, wanted to get out into the battle field as soon as possible.

As the two neared the exit, they could see a new land awaiting them. Both of the warriors could see a blinking tower in the distance. MegaMan knew that he needed to get to that two. And with a nod, he ran off towards the flashing tower.

Zero Suit Samus smiled using her whip to parry the pieces of armor but forgot to look ahead and almost missed the jump to another roof. She landed with a grunt and smiled, he was one person again. She kept running wondering if her would catch up.

He could hear the sounds of battle all around...

Sephiroth spiraled down, into an abyss of nothingness. The voice was right: He was weak.

But what was it that weakened him so? Was it the darkness? The very darkness that he used to make himself stronger? Was....was it really the factor of defeat throughout his entire life?

"I...I use the darkness so much...but this whole time, its the darkness that weakens me..."

So it was decided. Sephiroth used what little energy he could to move his arm. With difficulty, he reached for his right shoulder and, like a veil, threw away the darkness that he now hindered; threw away his soul. He could feel a new strength growing within him. A strength to fill the empty void in which the darkness once mingled.

[Chaser's Apprentice]

Sakura lurched forward, stumbling over in her self-frailty. You could see her trying to maintain a sense of steadiness by the wild shuffling of her feet, yet her exhaustion had overexerted itself. Sakura thought she could manage, yet the short rasps that were pulled out of her mouth corrected her.

Stahn stared, lowering his stance. There was a blue-clad warrior in front of him, one that reminded him of that crimson warrior, Zero. "Is he...an enemy?" It's time. He charged forward towards the warrior, ready to slice him in half.

But that would be unfair. He stopped short, "You! Ready yourself!"

Samus looked back to see he didn't apparently follow her. She climbed into one of the buildings and disappeared from sight.

But how could he just throw away his own soul like that? Like it was nothing more than an empty shell of a man who wants nothing more than vengeance?

Sephiroth reached for the darkness that whisked itself away into the nothingness, but stopped. Was what he had done a good thing...or bad?

He decided, then brought down his hand to rest at his side.

It was for the best...

MegaMan stopped in his tracks. He thought he heard someone calling him. The blue warrior quickly turned around, seeing another warrior standing near him. By the way he stood; the blue bomber could tell this warrior was not a friend.

"It looks like we've found somebody to fight," Omega-Xis smiled as he made MegaMan take a step forward. "We're ready!"

MegaMan wanted to say something, but then he buried the thought. It wasn't the right time or place for his emotions to be expressed. With a nod, Megaman raised his Megabuster. Seeing how the warrior waited for him to prepare, the blue bomber waited for this new opponent to make the first move in this battle.

Stahn smirked, "Right then..." He muttered. "Here we go..." He rushed foward, and feinted left with a stab, then quickly changed the stab into an upward slash aimed to knock the blue warrior into the sky. It was a simple trick, but it seemed to work a lot for him.

Sakura overturned herself as well as her self-dignity. She assumed a full body assessment for any scratches or severing. It was a quick procedure, and so Sakura launched onward, reintroducing herself to the polished, shooting instruments mounted on cubic platforms that identically matched their chromatic glossiness.

[Helix: The True Hero]

Sephiroth opened his eyes. He still layed on the metal surface, but brought himself up with arms that felt no pain. He felt somehow lighter, as though a giant weight had been uplifted. The darkness was gone now, so Sephiroth would have to rely on a different source of power to propel himself in this game.

((My computer is acting really strange, so I'll be off for now.))

Using his swift reflexes, MegaMan leaned back. In another swift movement, the blue bomber preformed a back flip. His strategy was to get some distance between him and his opponent, and that back flip really helped. Once landing on the ground, the blue warrior raised his Megabuster once more. With careful aim, the blue bomber fired several rounds of lasers at his opponent, hoping atleast one would hit its mark.

Stahn growled, leaping back and creating another wall of fire in front of him. I need to take it easy on the magic... The flames dispersed as the lasers struck them, and the blonde warrior charged forward again. Flickers of vibrant glares guttered passed Sakura as she brawled with the ever-present shootings. It was near impossible to interpret their tracks, and so it was serendipity that guided Sakura through the metallic labyrinth.

Reaching in his backpack, the blue bomber took out a card. It was one of his trusty Battle Cards. These little cards may look useless, but they were great in battle. This Battle Card was titled ‘Sword’. He used this card a lot, and it was really helpful.

After quickly slipping the card in Omega-Xis mouth, the alien turned into a sword. With only seconds left to react, MegaMan turned the blade sideways, predicting where his opponent’s blade would land. With careful timing, MegaMan raised the side of the blade to block Stahn’s attack.

[KH2_FinalSora]

Stahn smirked, "So you can fight." He laughed, "Flame Strike!" Dymlos, the sword, burst into flames as he surged forward into a three-slash combo, left, right. and then from above. Again, it was a simple combo, but it had always done him well.

[Roxas 1994]

MegaMan saw the new three-combo attack coming. To dodge this attack he needed speed and timing on his side. The blue bomber waited for the three-sided attack to come a little closer near him. When they neared him, he kicked the ground with his right foot. The force from the kick was so great that he flung himself back a few yards, barely dodging the deadly attack.

MegaMan smirked, "You're good, but I hope that isn’t all you got."

Stahn growled. I'm going to have to step it up a notch... "Alright...let's go with something a little more complicated."

Dymlos hummed as Stahn whispered something. "Alright then..."

Stahn smirked. "Go!" He charged forward, and threw Dymlos in an arc. The blade spun around in a boomerang-like manner. It spun around, behind the blue bomber. Stahn charged forward, in front, and leapt up in a powerful drop kick as the blade came in from behind. "Dodge this!"

[Lone Wolf]

Woah. The samurai turned and turned, trying to absorb his surroundings. What were these metal monsters?

"Gods! What have you done?!" The samurai was further infuriated, which at this point seemed impossible.

[Roxas 1994]

MegaMan was in a bad spot. If he spent his time dodging Stahn then the blade would impale from behind. And if he tried to dodge the sword then Stahn’s attack would land. Only one of his trusty Battle Cards could get him out of this problem. Luckily, he had already drawn a Battle Card. This card was call “Invisible’. The blue bomber used this card in the past, and it helped him a lot. Its effects would soon be discovered as Omega-Xis analyzed the card.

In seconds, MegaMan became see-through. His body lost its solid form as the card effect started to act. This ‘Invisible’ card could make its user loss any solid form. It made the user become ghost-like, but its effects didn’t last long. With ease, MegaMan ran to his right, dodging the drop kick. His timing was perfect, because the card’s effects started to disappear at that moment.

Stahn's eyes widened, What magic is this!? He spun quickly, catching Dymlos. "Good idea, but he was ready for it." He landed on the ground, skidding a few inches. "Let's try something else..." He tossed Dymlos, using the same technique as before, "Alright, Flame Strike and create a flame tornado!" The blade ignited, spinning around Megaman faster and faster, until a pillar of flames surrounded the blue warrior. "Move in closer, narrow the vortex!"

Dymos responded, and narrowed the flames, moving closer and closer to the center, and Megaman.

[Roxas 1994]

MegaMan scanned the vortex for any blind spots, but he could not find any. He had to resort to his Battle Cards at this moment, and he knew which one to use. He reached into his backpack, retrieving another card. The blue bomber quickly inserted it into Omega-Xis’s mouth. In seconds, a new buster formed on MegaMan’s arm. The blue bomber had to aim carefully.

MegaMan smiled, “Water Wave!” This knew Battle Card he drew dealt with water. With his command, MegaMan unleashed the wave of water inside the buster. As the water hit the vortex, steam rose into the air.

[KH2_FinalSora]

Stahn smirked. I anticipated as much. Just as planned! The steam from the two blasts colliding covered the battlefield,a nd Stahn knew exactly what happened next. "Dymlos! Spin around from behind again!" Stahn himself bolted forward, remembering where Megaman was, and leapt up into the air with anotehr powerful drop kick ready.

[Roxas 1994]

MegaMan closed his eyes, opening his other senses. He couldn't see, but his other senses were still active. Since his eye-sight was useless, his other senses became sharper. He heard the sword spinning behind him. He heard the air swooshing in front of him. He knew what was going to happen. He predicted that his opponent was going to corner him again.

“Omega-Xis,” MegaMan whispered to his partner. “You think you can catch a spinning sword?”

Omega-Xis nodded. He could still catch a sword even if he was still just a head. And with alien’s answer, the two closed their eyes. They could hear the sounds coming closer and closer. Then, the two opened their eyes. Omega-Xis opened his mouth while MegaMan opened his hand. With their combined senses, Omega-Xis closed his mouth, and MegaMan closed his hand.

Omega-Xis had caught Dymols, and MegaMan had caught the bottom of Stahn’s foot. It was a lucky move, but the two had done it. With their sudden success, the two realized that they needed to bump their teamwork another notch.

Stahn gasped in suprise as he hit the grounf. He couldn't keep balance with one of his feet held. He quickly ripped his leg from the blue warrior's grasp, using a quick seep kick to not only strike his opponent, but also to get him balanced. "Dymlos! Flame Strike!" The blade that Megaman was holding ignited into flames, and Stahn was about to figure out how well the beast holding Dymlos was against fire.

Stahn quickly leapt over Megaman, grabbing Dymlos in the process. "As much fun as this is, I've worn myself out. I think we should fight again sometime." He dashed forward, "Flame Wall behind us!" A wall of fire formed behind them, effectively stoppong the bluw warrior from following them.

Riku was battling an illusion of himself. In his mind, he is his normal self, The Way To Dawn in his right hand slashing towards his clone. But the clone was not entirely himself, it was an LD form of his, something simply too powerful and too impossible to even exist. The clone disarmed him all but too easily before stabbing clean through his chest. He could hear his own voice's laughter when blood spurted out from his chest and his mouth.

Weakling, that's what you are! By combining the Light and Darkness, it is proven that the heart has not the strength to contain the creation between the walls that is me! You have only one choice now, Riku. Become the Light and Darkness itself! Let your heart become me and only me, the Light and Darkness!

The offer was tempting. He nearly gave in as pain spreaded throughout his body, his mind was completely boggled up. But something was holding him back. What is it? he thought weakly, Let me go! I needed that power to go home! I'm simply not strong enough to fight him as myself!

These are the chains of memories in your heart, Riku. Deep within his heart, a voice answered him as his action stopped abruptly.

My own heart... fighting against me? Why? His strength was fading quickly, It won't be long before the LD Form of his swallow him up...

Because you refuse to be yourself. Because you simply cannot believe your own heart. Remember... you are neither the Light nor Darkness... You are what you are, a human, a friend, a person called Riku.

Remember, your heart is yours to follow. With a burst of realisation, Riku struggled up from his nightmares and clawed his way towards reality.

The awakening from sleep begins.

Riku woke up and stared around. Unlike previous worlds, it was no longer a battlefield of nature. It was a place of technology. He was floating ten thousand feet above the ground not by his powers but by the land, and strange little red dots began to mass along his body. His mind pondered on what are them. Then he remember.

Oh. Damn.

Sweeping out of the way, numerous laser suddenly struck air where Riku was once were before he was propelled by the explosion caused by the colliding laser beams. This place was unsurprisingly dangerous, and another noteboard that he flew into accidentally told him that this is but another race to the finish line.

16 left, save your breath. A tower in the horizons of this metal city was flashing red, indicating that he must reached the end before all is lost for him.

A sly grin formed on his face. Crushing the noteboard with barehands, LD Form began to kick in as he dived towards the tower with uncanny speed. Laser were aiming and shooting everywhere, but he was simply too quick to be shot.

LD Form has finally stabilised, and all but because of one simple thing: To be what he is. To follow his heart.

He charged.

He looked forwards. The destination was still far away even though he was in his second most powerful forms, and he was getting really bored with the laser beams shooting like mad around him. If they hit him, that's a good thing for he would have an excuse to flick their switches completely OFF. He still had an excuse now, but a more frustating one. Calling upon the powers of the Wind, his hands flicked and danced as the metal lasers beneath him began to explode in large and abrupt numbers. Enjoying the momentary moment of peace, he looked and Sora and spoke, "That, is the Claw of Air. To tear thing apart literally with Air magic. Sounds easy on paper but completely different when done. So, are you ready to spar with me? We can get rid of this ridiculous boredom while reaching the destination."

They are anoying and will get in our way...", said Sora and used Power Of Light to get rid all of lasers at his side till that destination... "Easy job. Now your turn.", said Sora and waited...

But he continued to battle... this time not with full strenght. He couldn't destroy his friend. He couldn't.

Something started in his Heart... it wanted to burst out... "Wha..??? ARGHHTT!!", shouted Sora and started To scream... "Hello, Riku! It's good to see you again... How was it to use MY power?", said another voice... It wasn't Sora's... but it came from Sora's mouth.

Sora was in dark... "What the.."?? What's happening??? Let me out! LET ME OUT!!!!", shouted Sora... "No! You'll stay here where you are! I finally did it... I got you and Riku! Hahahaha...", laughted familliar voice. "ANSEM!!! We got rid of you... or I should say Xeonort's heartles!!!", said Sora.

Meantime Sora's body was in Ansem's power. Sora's eyes where glowing red: "Now, Riku... it's time you to DIE!!!", said voice! Sora's body was ready to slash Riku with Keyblades, but it stoped. For second Sora could speeak: "RIKU, IT'S ANSEM! GET RID OF HIM!! ARRRRGHHTT" And Sora's eyes turned again red.

Riku's eyes squinted a little as he watched the unbelievable transformation taking over Sora. He should've known it earlier; the strange fury in Sora, the thirst to hunt for revenge. All is too un-Sora to be Sora. His voice came low but clear, "Ansem, so you are alive just yet..." With a flash of The Way To Dawn Riku struck Ansem mightily in the chest before backing off, his flight towards the tower never was affected.

Riku spoke with a small sigh, "You are unlucky to meet me when I fully grasp my true strength, the strength of my heart. Come!" He charged towards Ansem, Keyblade glowing with power, intending to end this blasphemy of Xehanort once and for all.

OOC: Gotta go, see you two hours later, if you can!

With a slight burst of speed, Riku smacked the Kingdom Key away and began to beat Xehanort's Heartless with each word he uttered, "It-can-unlock-everything-and-lock-just-about-everything-in-this-world-and-that-includes-our-heart," With seventeen strokes of headbutting and backbreaking and toy-torturing, Riku finalised the punishment with a simple upper cut across his opponent's chin which sent the poor Heartless backwards like a wounded dog. Or cat. Or mouse. Ah, whatever.

"I guess this should be enough for you, aye Xehanort's Heartless? Or should I play with you a bit more longer? This would serve both of you a bit o' lesson; you for making the same mistake all over again that is possession, and Sora for being such a total sap to be controlled by you!" A direct hit in the - Oh! that must've been painful - "But hey, I'm a very kind person. I'll just give you one last blow and we're done, game over ok? A single, painful thrust through your heart, and it'll stick there for as long as you struggle until your death claims you. Then I get to see Sora's funny face. How cool's that huh?" Without delay, Riku did exactly as what he said and Xehanort the Heartless was destroyed before he could even give a bit of resistance... poor man indeed.

Riku threw Sora forwards at the direction at the tower and yelled, "Wake up already boy! You still need to pay me one thousand munny for saving your life!"

He must reavoken him, when he used that power of Darkness...", said Sora... he tried to cast Curaga, but he was too weak... "Damn you, Ansem!" was last words from Sora, before he fell asleep.

He saw a dream... of Kairi. Kairi said: Don't give up! You need to continue! And light again and he was healed!!!

"Man that was fast!", said Sora after wakeing up... He was wraped in light... "So, this is self-healing power too...", thought Sora. "Ok... now I think I'm a-okay!", said Sora.

Riku stared in front of him. The tower is near now, but still, it could be a good ten minutes away.

What should he do then? He stared at Sora's funny face before an idea came to his head.

Without warning, Riku appeared above Sora and smashed him on his back, propelling Sora towards the metal ground below. He had not clear this place of lasers, and many were massing their aim on Sora.

"The first one to reach the tower wins, Sora! Old times, haha!" And he flew towards the tower, his heart lighter and happier than ever.

[Helix: The True Hero]

With the darkness cast away like an empty shell, Sephiroth composed himself as he searched for a temporary resting place. There was no need to fight now, no need to reach the flaming-red beacon. Other matters needed attending to.

Surprisingly, he no longer felt the pain of the laser shot in his arm or his back. In fact, now that the darkness was gone, he felt even more dexterous, and his capability to carry out something as basic as movement was highly proficient.

Sephiroth found a fissure in a nearby wall, one big enough to safely hold him, and retreated post haste. In this time, he would need to devise a new battle strategy. Now that the darkness no longer existed in his form, he would need some new ability to keep himself alive in this game.

... Zero was tired.... yes the mighty reploid was tired....

The constant machinery of the metal city was something that the robot was familiar with..

But he knew he should not get near it...

After all, he might spread his cute little gift from his creator....

Although he felt weird that the red reploid's aura seemed to be weaker than before, but he reckoned that it must be the distance that caused that misinterpretion. That reploid might not be powerful and has succumbed into the Darkness, his heart is strong. Sephiroth was a whole new case: Normally, he would've thought that a new person had entered the battle for the aura is completely different from before. It was... without Darkness. But still, Riku could feel the steady elements in Sephiroth aura: Malice, and undeniable strength. Their last encounter was nearly Riku's last.

He had finally reached the tower. Waiting for Sora to catch up, Riku took his time to figure the goods and odds of attacking his foes. he didn't want to fight them actually, his secret desire is to find out the player behind all this madness and destroy him so everyone could go home. But then again... he feared that if he did not follow the rules, they would be the one whoare destroyed.

I guess... I'll follow the rules for now.

Something sounded not far away from Sephiroth's position. A familiar feeling crowded his thoughts in that instant: death. And it was headed straight for him.

Without missing a beat, Sephiroth threw himself out of the fissure and summoned his blade. A massive beam of darkness barreled toward him at a blinding pace, set to slice him in two. Sephiroth readied himself for the beam to strike.

When it did, however, Sephiroth was overcome with surprise. The beam was more powerful than he had expected, and thrust him back an inch. Blade clashing with energy, the strength of the beam was almost too unbearable to withhold. Sephiroth was still not used to the lack of darkness, and struggled far more than he would normally have.

With a final movement, Sephiroth heaved the beam aside, allowing it to continue its course of death behind him. As the beam crashed into the metal wall, he noticed the culprit, and held his blade firm.

"Riku..." came the word. He remembered this boy. He too could wield the power of darkness. Without darkness of his own, however, Sephiroth was in for a difficult fight...

Something sounded not far away from Sephiroth's position. A familiar feeling crowded his thoughts in that instant: death. And it was headed straight for him.

Without missing a beat, Sephiroth threw himself out of the fissure and summoned his blade. A massive beam of darkness barreled toward him at a blinding pace, set to slice him in two. Sephiroth readied himself for the beam to strike.

When it did, however, Sephiroth was overcome with surprise. The beam was more powerful than he had expected, and thrust him back an inch. Blade clashing with energy, the strength of the beam was almost too unbearable to withhold. Sephiroth was still not used to the lack of darkness, and struggled far more than he would normally have.

However, this new Sephiroth caught Riku's attention as he observed him as curiously as a child, mind intent to know what would happen if he threw in a Light attack.

And that's what exactly he did when he swung The Way To Dawn to send a Slash Beam of Light at Sephiroth. Would he deflect it away as before? Or will he take the full blow of his attack?

Sephiroth saw a second beam, one of light, approach him this time around. He smiled, and let his blade, as well as his guard, down.

"Let's see how well I fare with defense."

It would surely be an interesting experiment. Would the lack of darkness strengthen him? He was about to find out.

Riku stared at Sephiroth. It would seemed that he is taking his attacks as a practice or test. Never mind that, he was curious about the results too. If Sephiroth truly had abandoned his power of Darkness, how exactly would he fare? It doesn't seemed to have weakened him, neither did he seem to be stronger.

He is curious.

Yuna saw Riku, Sora, and Sephiroth, the big meanie from radiant garden.
What are they doing together? Yuna thought as she circled above them on Valefor.

She jumped off it's back, un-summoning it and watching it fly towards the clouds, pyreflies appearing around it and disappearing quickly. When she landed, she was a few yards away from the action.

"Having a party without me?" She asked, looking around at Sora, Riku, and Sephiroth respectively.

"Hey Sora," Riku yelled without looking at him, "Your girl is here. Show her what you got. Blow her with everything you got, my man! I know you always wanted to do this. Don't worry, I won'te tell Kairi about this, haha!" With a loud laughter, Riku continued to observe Sephiroth.

Yuna could prove to be a problem if she really wants to attack him, but he could prove to be Yuna's biggest nightmare if she ever messes up with him. Sora would take care of her anyway.

[Helix: The True Hero]

He did not cringe, did not attempt a retaliation. He simply allowed the beam to strike him. And when it did...

Sephiroth was thrown back with an unbelievable amount of force. He closed his eyes and allowed the energy to consume him. He could feel his body in motion, the wind rushing through his hair at mach 4. Then...he could feel nothing. Had he passed out?

The vision of his mother filled the void in his mind. He could see her, smiling and chanting her daily tune. Sephiroth reached for her, trying to touch her. His hand passed straight through, and she dissolved into nothingness. Sephiroth let out a cry of agony. Ever since that day...his life had gone straight to Hell.

He seemed to dance in and out of consciousness, the pain of the blast reaching in, then fading out.

Yuna smiled as she saw Sora coming towards her, leaving Sephiroth up to Riku.

"Oh Sora, dear," She started in her endearing voice, "You would hit a girl?"
She took the instant that he took to hesitate and lunged at him, guns blazing.

[Xuan]

Riku stared at Sephiroth's beaten body. Ok, this was entirely not like what I had expected, Riku thought with a twinge of disappointment. He had expected sudden waves of powerful Darkness or super strength or the Light Beams disappearing into nothingness: He gave very much credit to Sephiroth. But instead, he just... went down. Now he felt like a bad guy.

Curses, Riku muttered silently, What a waste of good energy for such a disappointing results. With silent resignation, Riku reverted back to his normal self and enjoyed himself floating in the air without gravity.

The show Sora and Yuna is going to throw should be interesting enough. His only regret is not being to videotape this brawl down and blackmail Sora into giving a million munny. His editing skills are legendary.

Gohan wandered around looking at the new place he had been transported to. It was all metal and steel, and it seemed to be floating. He looked around, but found nothing. He was lost too. He couldn't even sense his own friends power level due to his stress. He just decided to wait, an wait some more, and to keep on waiting.

"Why should I wait?!" Gohan yelled out loud. "I should find someone to fight, I need to in order to survive!" And with that Gohan flew in the sky and took off to find someone to battle.

Tears formed in her eyes as she remembered the moment when Tidus had to leave. She could barely believe what she was experiencing, it was as if she was there again. Woudl Tidus be there when she got back? If she got back...

She hardly felt the light blast, though. The pain from the light was nothing compared to how much it hurt to see Tidus leave again. The blast knocked her on her back, and she didn't make a move to get back up.

She lay there on her back, tears falling down the side of her face like tiny waterfalls and her body aching from the blow.

Sephiroth lay there, powerful sparks of energy emanating from his body. His mind locked itself in the state of consciousness, and his vision returned. Something was amiss, however...but he couldn't figure out what it was.

No pain...

The blast he had received merely threw him back. It had hardly done anything worthy of being called damage. Sephiroth stood, his back aching from the collision on the ground. Otherwise, he felt fine. Surprised, Sephiroth felt around his neck and shoulders. Nothing. No pain whatsoever.

The one who had attacked him with the beam was gone, however, so he could not thank him for the successful experimentation.

Gohan was then able to sense the silver-haired-man-with-the-long-sword's energy and rushed over to him. He was able to reach him and he looked like he was in bad shape. He could also sense that the boy Riku had been here. He flew down towards the man and grinned at him.

"So, I see you're still in this, huh buddy?" Gohan said smiling. It was good he was able to find one of his team mates. He felt that he would need their help finally and stop fighting alone.

Sephiroth noticed his teammate nearby. Without acknowledgment of his question, he picked up his sword and continued his journey to the beacon tower. There were more important things to focus on now...

"Hey!" Gohan yelled. He was being ignored by his own teammate! His own friggin' teammate! He felt a little angry and flew over to him and followed him. He guessed that he just was one of those 'silent' types, but he was still his teammate, so he stayed by his side, even if he was being ignored.

There ran all memories of Yuna and her friends... their good times... how they battled side by side..., "Yuna, you had to battle Rikku and Paine... that's diferent! Both of your friends were taken by power of others!!! I had to fight Riku... Cause he was too taken by power of other... But now... it hurts, when I slash him... I can't do it... Not even In this land. Yuna, don't fight them! Love them and cherish them..." and again changed memory... Yuna and Tidus were talking in Farplane. Sora saw Yuna's eyes... they suffered. "Yuna... this isn't like us! I can't fight you! Sorry... You are my friend... good friend... I know Tidus too! We were on Destiny Islands together for some time... He is good too!", said Sora. "Riku, Kairi... if I die now... then... forgive me... these times we were together were great...", said Sora... and put away his Keyblades... Memories wanished... "Yuna, stop this... please", said Sora and went to help Yuna get up.

"I can't...fight you, Sora. Yet, I'm supposed to... We were put here to fight each other, what are we to do otherwise?"

Gohan felt the mn was going fatser, so Gohan went faster. Maybe this man was trying to avoid him, but he wasn't sure. And if that was the truth, then this man wpuld just have to deal with him being there, because he was not going to leave, at least, not until he could find someone else on his team or an opponent.

...he was a teammate, and a teammate was what he needed right now. He stopped and turned to Gohan.

"Okay, you can stay. I may not like you, but we will need each other's help if we are to survive. Do you see that tower?" He pointed to the red beacon, shining ominously over the landscape.

Gohan looked over at the tower in stared in awe and then snapped back into reality. "Wait, you don't like me?! Awwww, that's............that's just wrong," Gohan said with a sad face but kept looking at the tower. It was, well, huge, at least to him it seemed like that. He wasn't sure what to make of it though besides that.

Yuna tried to focus on what Sora was saying, but she couldn't, her mind was elsewhere. She was still thinking about that fateful day when Tidus disappeared when suddenly, her mind took a sharp turn elsewhere. She was in front of Besaid Temple, smiling at him as he looked at her first summoning, shocked.

Now she was at Macalania Woods, swirling through the water, her body wrapped around his and their lips glued together.

Now she was at Zanarkand, sitting around the fire with her guardians, fully knowing that that might be the last time they ever sat down together.

And now she was at Besaid Beach, almost crying as they got reunited after a grueling 2 years apart and her heart lifted, joy surging through her like a rapid acting poison.

But when she opened her eyes, she didnt see him anymore. All she saw was Sora next to her, crying, and her joy left her, drained out of every pore in her body, and her sorrow returned.

[Tidus Shuyin]

Sora had locked in his memories... he saw everthing... Kairi, Riku, King Mickey, Roxas, Namine... and everyone from worlds... Even Yuna... He wanted everyone by his side right now... he had Yuna by his side atleast... That was something... "Yuna", said Sora, still crying, "Do you want... see your precious memories again?" He wanted to do something... anything... but not to hurt Yuna... He can't do that... he couldn't... because She was his friend...

[Chaser's Apprentice]

Sakura stole a brief peek up at the sky that managed her every move. Its profound shades of cerulean luster had rendered an unnatural sense of being lost. There were no clouds to tarnish this indigo immaculacy. Sakura dipped her head back down; the over-zealous sky had left her with a tingling trace of vertigo. She screened her gleaming environment, viewing the glare of the sun playing across the metal.

John, was just zooming through the air, "this is easier than I thought," after a few more minutes in the air he was shot down. "GAHH"

Several soldiers surrounded the emerald knight "It's a green lantern, we know just how to handle these."

Yuna was finally able to focus on the scene around her. She had never seen Sora cry and if felt a little weird to see it now. She kneeled in front of him and smiled.

"I'm sorry, Sora. I dont know what made me attack you like that... I just... I want to leave!" She cried out.

John woke up in a dark cell "What happened, Ring"

"Well, we were shot by an electromagnetic shot that caused the hexo-"

"Ring, I want a simple explanation,"

"Simply, we were short cirqeted."

"O.k. well lets light this place up." an ominus glow came from the ring, and john could see many cells filled with skelotons, roting corpses, as well as an old man moaning in pain. "My god, I've never seen anything like this, plus" he walked forward and placed his hand on bars. "Ring scan tha cell I'm in,"

"Scanning... scanning... scanning complete, iron bars painted with yellow paint,"

"Wow, yellow, how original."

"Yes green lnatern," and out of the shadows came the soldiers. "Your one weakness," and they all howled with laghter "now you can't even touch us".

"Oh, say that to my face," and all the soldiers got closer to John, "by the way, green lanterns," and a glow from his ring appeared, and there was a large explosion, "Don't have a weakness anymore."

Then John went to see the old man "please don't hurt me,"

"I won't hurt you," and John performed hyper healing on the old man, "Now go on, you're free."

"thank you kind hero, I will never forget your kind act."

Sephiroth had managed to abandon his teammate for the given time.

The red luminescence of the beacon tower flashed in and out of the metallic terrain, casting an ominous red landscape all around. Sephiroth hovered over the ground, careening in and out of fragmented remains of past battlefields. Ever since the loss of darkness, Sephiroth's speed had increased four-fold, allowing for much smoother battles, and more accurate travel locations.

Now, with only his sword and basic magic, Sephiroth would have to find a way to survive without such darkness. But would he really be able to? Could he really be more powerful then previously? He, as well as everyone who remained in this game, would soon find out...

[Tidus Shuyin]

Gohan then lloked around and saw Sephiroth was gone. He sighed. Of course, that was a distraction. Gohan thought and walked around. He looked around for someone, or something when he came across two people. They were crying, so naturally he walked over to them to see what was wrong.

"Ummm, are ya'll all right?" Gohan asked Sora and Yuna. He remembered Yuna from before, she fought against Ashe and him, and was a tough opponent. But now he didn't want to fight. All this fighting was getting everyone no where. There must be another way, at least, there has to be.

After John dropped of the old man at his families house he flew off to reach the check point. "Gotta get to this thing."

"Warining power levels at 9.703%"

"Oh jeez," John flew down and his melted lantern appeared before him, he recharged severel times, "Ring power check,"

"Power levels at 53.532%"

"Jeez, I'm going to get killed if this thing doesn't start to work proberly"

[Tidus Shuyin]

"Sorry, Yuna... I have to go... We will finish our converstation later... If you want to find me... just Call my name and I will be to you... for now, bye", said Sora with tears in eyes and flew in sky... Then he looked for something... for now, Sora glided lover to slash lasers, which where attacking him...

"Acorrding to the gods, yes you do, but the main objective is to get to the check point."

Gohan felt angry and sad at the same time. "There has to be another way, there has to be. If there isn't.............then.................no, I won't!" Gohan yelled. He didn't want to fight anymore. Not unless he absolutely had to, and even then he wouldn't want to. "There has to be someway out of this.............game, if that's what they call it. There has to be," And with that Gohan left as well into the sky and flew around.

"I won't fight anymore!"

Sora was at destination. Now he just fought Lasers, which were attacking.

As Yuna heard what Sora said before he left, she suddenly broke down again.

This sounded so much like what Tidus had said to her before they moved into the Mi'ihen Highroad.

If we ever get separated, just...whistle, and I'll come running....

Yuna shook off her tears and decided to help Sora. "Forget this whole team situation, we need to get out of here, and battling each other isn't gonna solve anything!" She said aloud to herself as she ran towards where Sora ran off to.

Yuna shook off her tears and decided to help Sora. "Forget this whole team situation, we need to get out of here, and battling each other isn't gonna solve anything!" She said aloud to herself as she ran towards where Sora ran off to.

But still the hunter had not found anything but the annoying little security robots that tried to attack him. Sure they had met an end via his Z-Saber... but that did not made this anymore pleasing.....

MegaMan and Omega-Xis were making good time. They were very close to the blinking tower, but now they had to be careful. The closer they would get to the tower, the more enemies there would be. If he didn't get sidetrack, then the blue bomber would make it to the tower in the matter of minutes.

"Keep it up, kid," Omega-Xis cheered. "We're almost there."

OH I started Playing Megaman Star Force Dragon... pretty cool game better and darker than the battle network ones....

IN: Zero growled, finally he had found something... and better yet, it was the one he had been seeking...

Clad in blue form, the blue bomber, Geo Stellar,Megaman was there.

Good, their bouts had dragged for too long... now it was the time to finish this for once and for all. Drawing his own buster the Hunter aimed, and as he had done so many times before, released his full charge at teh enemy!

MegaMan stopped in his tracks. He heard another weird sound in the air. It was getting louder and louder with every passing second. With a quick glance to his right, the blue warrior saw a buster shot coming towards him. He quickly leaned to his left, barely dodging the laser attack.

"I know the buster shot from anywhere," MegaMan said as he scanned the area. "It's Zero."

MegaMan quickly raised his Megabuster, aiming it into the air. He couldn’t see the red warrior yet, but he had a plan. It was a risky plan, but that was the only way to find Zero if he didn’t how himself.

[Azure]

Zero raised his beam sword, the weapon flashed as he cutted down the metalic cylinders that held the floor. The structure could no longer resist any longer and with a final slash from the hunter, it fell sideways...

Onto the side that Megaman was at!

The hunter rose, as he hid in the falling building, as the structure slowly tilted sideways, the hunter rushed out, the sword ready to pierce the enemy as the crimson hunter meet the blue bomber below the falling building....

She looked back down to Sora and smiled. "Thanks, Sora. That means a lot to me, now lets find our way out of this stupid place..."

The blue bomber quickly kicked his feet forward, sending him a few feet back. As soon as the warrior landed on the ground, he had already retrieved a Battle Card from his backpack. In seconds, MegaMan inserted the card in Omega-Xis mouth. The card was the ‘Sword’ Battle Card.

“This is it, kid,” Omega-Xis grunted as he changed into a sword. “Don’t hold back!”

MegaMan nodded, and then charged forward. He was going to take Zero head on. They weren’t afraid to fight this warrior. But MegaMan still hoped that they could become friends after this battle.

IN: Zero growled as hsi Z-Saber meet the Sword of his enemy, the two weapons fough for dominance, yet neighther could outpower the other....

The hunter pushed back, dashing backwards, and creating pace, as he ran over the painfuly slow, falling building, his buster releasing covering fire upon the Blue Bomber.... he needed time for one of his skills......things could wait until that......

Sakura collapsed into a metallic wall, just barely maintaining her weight. The radiant glares that played across the chrome trailed after each other in an endless game of tag. It was quite unpleasant to prop up against the firm metal, yet Sakura had compressed all her weight into the lustrous barrier. She had scarcely made it to the heart of this odd metropolitan district. The flickering, crimson beaker beckoned for Sakura at the top of this chromatic structure, teasing her as she stole a glance up.

MegaMan raised his sword, blocking most of the buster shots. This skill took a lot of timing and luck. It was very dangerous to use a sword to reflect buster shots, but luck was on MegaMan's side. With a quick pace, the blue bomber followed Zero, still reflecting the buster shots coming his way.

“I wonder why is going towards the building,“ MegaMan said out loud. “Isn’t it falling over?”

MegaMan didn’t know why the red warrior was running towards the falling tower, but the blue warrior still couldn’t let him get away. He needed to stop Zero’s plan; even though he didn’t now what it was.

OOC: You’ll find out, Azure. Advance farther into the game.

IN: Zero continued his rush at the metalic tower, his dashing allowing him to keep his pace...

Megaman had followed him... good... "Now... taste death, Bleu Bomber!" White energy gathered in the fist of the crimson reploid as he jumped foward, and smashed the tower, his shou of Giga Crush enveloping the silent city....

White light pierced the tower, as the metalic structure broke... shotting down at the blue bomber below... the enemy of Zero was now greeted by the mixture of both white beams of death from the Giga Crush Overdrive, and the falling pieces of the tower....

The warrior had finally witnessed all of his surroundings. All the metallic edifications stood out, and nature seemed to have disappeared. "Where am I now?"

MegaMan could only watch as Zero's plan feel into place. He new he couldn't counter, but he wouldn't give up. He closed his eyes and pulled out a card from his backpack. He didn't know which card he had retrieved, but he hoped it was a good one.

MegaMan quickly brought the card to his eyes. A smile grew on his face a he inserted it in Omega-Xis mouth. In seconds, a bright aura formed around the blue boomer. The card he had retrieved was the ‘Star Force’ card. This card allowed him to transform into any one of three different transformations. Each one was very powerful.

When the bight light faded, MegaMan was engulfed in red armor. His hair was longer, his armor was thinker, and now he was wearing thick, red armor. Omega-Xis too had changed. He was also engulfed in red armor. This was the Leo Star Force.

With a smile, the ‘red’ bomber raised his Megabuster. Once fully charged, Omega-Xis released a barrage of flames. The flames engulfed the attack, stopping Zero’s plan in its tracks.

IN: Zero saw as the barrage of flames from his oppoenet had engulfed his attack, destroyed his planning and left him practicaly defenceless and spent...

Good.. if Megaman had perished in such a simple attack he would have lost the respect Zero had for the blue bomber....

The Hunter seing the fire armor, quickly changed to his Black "Proto" Form.. the black armor was quicker and more resistant, plus it allowed Zero to fight at a better set against the unknown....

Zero concentrated as his weapons were now coated by electricity, the elemental weakness of Fire (yes, elec, does super effective at fire in the Zero games... yes wierd...).

With a shout of pride the hunter rushed at the enemy, falling from the skies.. ready to meet him head on!

Stahn growled, striking another one of the many lasers down with his blade. No rest, no time to restore strength, no time to- Another blast came from behind, knocking Stahn to the ground. He quickly rolled to the left, avoiding another shot, and threw Dymlos at the machine.

"Keep it up, Stahn!" Dymlos chanted. "You can do it!"

The blue bomber quickly summoned another Battle Card to his aid. It was another ‘Sword’ card. After inserting the card in Omega-Xis mouth, the blade formed in is hand. Using his fire abilities, the blue warrior set the blade on fire.

“Don’t hold back, kid,” Omega-Xis cheered as MegaMan raised his blade. With a nod, the blue bomber jumped up into the air, heading towards Zero. With a flick of his wrist, MegaMan swung his blade.

The Black Armored Zero grinned wildly.. as his green plasma sword met the Sword card used by his enemy..

This was his key element...

Battle

The purpose of his existance, The God of Destruction, the part of himself that he hated and yet loved... the paradox of his existance....

It did not mattered here.... because now he would fight....

"Good... Geo Stellar.... now take me head on!" Zero groweld with power, his soul was into this! The hunter rolled backwards, to gather energy at the tip of his beam weapon, and to unleash it in a dashing thrust that threathened to pierce the Blue Bomber in half...

[Chaser's Apprentice]

Chrome structures supervised all those who were constrained within their shimmering metropolis, towering like sky-scrapers. The ever-present moisture in the air was condensing; it was like breathing soup. Sakura’s active thoughts had expelled any fear of threat lurking behind any given chrome wall.

Using his new speed, MegaMan jumped back, gracefully landing onto the ground. The blue warrior also channeled some of his energy into his blade. The flames grew brighter as the blue bomber raised his blade. With a slight smile, MegaMan charged forward.

In a swift movement, MegaMan turned his blade sideways, blocking Zero’s incoming attack. He quickly pushed his sword forward, hoping to create an opening for his blade to strike. The blue bomber was putting his soul into this battle, too.

Zero smiled, a grin full of the drunkness that these fights brought onto the hunter.

"Good give your all!" Wiht those words, the hunter lowered his other hands, taking out his second Z-Saber, blocking the attack from Megaman, the hunter growled as he concentrated his power, breaking away the two blades of his opponnet....

Zero dashed back, as he landed calmly on the remains of the fallen tower, "Come... do better... squirm, fight... come show me your will!" The hunter grinned ... this was what he loved... thus hunter Zero raised his two blades and rushed in once again!

[Helix: The True Hero]

Sephiroth stopped suddenly, distinguishing the sound of an incoming turret shot. He jumped to the left, the beam passing closely by. Turning sharply, he saw three more beams flying straight for him. With a grunt, Sephiroth spun into the air with his blade, miraculously deflecting all three beams, sending them shooting off in different directions.

He almost instantly found the turret responsible for this beam bombardment, and launched himself at it, careful to avoid any more anti-fire. When he was close enough to make contact, he drew his blade again and jammed straight into the shaft through which the beams escaped. The turret overloaded from the collision, and imploded, sending the blade shooting into the air. Sephiroth jumped, caught the blade, then landed gracefully back onto the metal surface, still tense from the dangerous dodging game...
