Zatch Bell: New Battle

[Rex]

One hundred mamodo (known as "mamono/demons" in the original version) go to Earth every 1,000 years to battle to be the king of the mamodo world (referred to as makai in the original, which can be translated as hell). Each mamodo has a particular element which it can control and attack with, a set of body supporting spells, and other spells (e.g. a defensive spell), all via the use of a special spell book. Each mamodo needs a human partner in order to use his or her spell book, and if his or her spell book is burned, the mamodo is forced to return to the mamodo world.

The spells in each book are different for each mamodo (however some mamodo seem to share spells). Each spell has a "level" to it, and the level of the spell is recited before the name of the spell itself (i.e in the spell Dioga Gravidon, the bolded word is the level, and the other word is the spell).

The human and their mamodo gain these spells through experience. Each spell book is a different color. The last mamodo standing without their book burnt is the new mamodo king. now one thousand years later a new battle has taken place as old and new Mamodo appere in the human world to do only one thing. become king, but all is at a loss when a mamodo named Bio Zero starts to be corrupted with power and starts to train and create a group of Mamodo who follow his comades so that one day he will become the mamodo King.

It was the midle of the night, Maikeru and his mamodo stood side by side outside his house, "Well, we're all packed and ready to go,"

Kasai turned tword him and almost whispered "I can't believe your mom let us go,"

"M-maikeru, she did give you permision to leave, didn't she?" she had a worried look on her face.

"... Lets go." and he bagan to walk away and after a few seconds Kasai ran to catch up to him.

"Ok, I think I have time to leave too... I hope we will meet, again.", said Ryan and went away.

"Actually, I'm curious to know, but sonce you must leave, later." Frost said, jokingly winking at him and giving him a thumbs up sign. "Well now what?" he asked his mamondo, Bio Zero.

"Well, for one thing, i'd love to get out of this freezing weather. I'm turning into an icicle out here!" he said, shivering.

"Fine, fine...but ever heard of a jacket?" he asked, sarcastically, getting up from the bench.

"Whatever.." Bio Zero said, following Frost out of the park.

Maikeru and Kasai had just finished fighting another mamodo, and Maikeru closed his book and walked tword the mamodo and his partner and picked up the book.

Maikeru throught the book into the air, "Hinote!" and a fireball flew out of kasai's mouth and destroied the book.

the other partner looked at his mamodo "No, Kechi!" he yelled, and the mamodo disappeared. The man stood up, and started to run tword Maikeru, "you son of a-" he was cut off when Maikeru punched him square in the jaw, and Kasai gasped.

Maikeru looked at the unconsiouns man "... I think i knocked him out." and he started poking the body, then gave a big grin, "I don't know my own strength do I Kasai?"

She shook her head and then they both walked away.

Ryan picked a book from his bag. "There must be entrance in world... somewhere here.", he said and started to look entrance to Land of Fullness

Maikeru had heard voices and started to walk twords the source of the sound and saw someone with a spell book and his mamodo, "Kasai, we have to get rid of all mamodo, so take aim."

Kasai pointed her head tword ryan's spell book. Maikeru opened his own spell book and prepared to read his Hibana spell.

"Ello!", said Ryan and found entrance. He went inside and locked behind him entrance.

Ryan put away his book. He went deeper the dark hall.

the sparks missed ryan as he went into the hallway, "Damn, we missed, lets go Kasai, we're going after him," and they both went down the hall way, then he thought 'your going to be the next mamodo queen, no one else'.

Ryan felt that someone is following him. "So... someone else is looking for him, huh?", thought Ryan. He started to run. He saw labyrinth in front of him. "Yes!", he thought and ran inside. Then he ran to the right and started to play tricks with enemy

Miakeru started to chase after him, but lost sight of him after a few minutes in the maze, "Hey, Kasai, lets use the new spell we got, ready,"

Kasai nodded her head.

Maikeru opened the book, "Hitama" and a small flame came out of Kasai's mouth and it flew through the hallway of maze and sped to Rayn.

"Ok, Mamodo, I need you to buy me some time.", said Ryan, "I must find the one I look for." and left his mamodo in his place and ran out of labyrinth to speak with elder of this world.

The fire bullet was about to hit the mamodo, Maikeru said "Alright, I think we hit him."

"The great elder of this sacred land! I'm here to speak with you!", said Ryan. "Itachi come back!", Said Ryan in thoughts. Itachi came back. As Itachi came back behind Ryan and Itachi showed up wall. No one could come in nor get out. "Why are you disturbing my peace?", asked voice. "i have request to you, elder!", sadi Ryan and waited.

They ran to the wall, "Damnit, where did this wall come from." and Maikeru started to slam his fist on the wall, and Kasai started to kick it. "Hey open up," Maikeru yelled while continually slamming his fist on the wall.

Ryan heard fist kicks. "I want you to let me talk with Him", asked Ryan. "Hmm.. what is that you seek?", asked voice. "My... brother.", said Ryan. "Hmm... I agree. He may go with you even.", said voice and teleported Ryan to his world. "Be patient, and you'll meet him.", said voice.

Ryan woke up in his world... "Hmm, I'm back. And now to find Him.", said Ryan.

Maikeru and Kasai were ingulfed in light and were teleported to Ryan and his mamodo.

"W-where are we?" asked Kasai.

Ryan stared at his home. "Great, I'm home.", he said quetly. He went inside and.. all aroud was blood. "What the???", said Ryan, "This... this can't be!" He looked frightened. He felt his eyes filling with tears. "Don't wory.", said Voice. "What are you doing here!!!", Ryan shouted, "So, this is all your doing??" ans summoned his sword. "No! It's not my doing. Your family is safe. This is blood from attackers. Someone wanted you to suffer.", said voice. "Where is my FAMILY then??", shouted Ryan. "Safe.", said voice and stopped talking.

Maikeru and Kasai both are traveling around, and they spot another mamodo and his partner.

The mamodo turned around to see them, "Master," he said in a grim voice, "look, a mamodo." and he pointed at Maikeru and Kasai.

"Thank you, Akki, now lets destroy them, you two will rue the day you messed with me, the Great, Charleston the 3rd." the man opened his book, "AKUMADOROMARI" and a giant mud ball with a demon smile on the front flew out of Akki's chest and landed a few feet away from Maikeru and Kasai, completly missing them. "You imbissile, you missed! Now lets try it again, but this time don't suck at it."

"Yes master." replied the mamodo.

"AKUMADOROMARI." again and again they missed, shot after shot, spell after spell, they just couldn't hit the book, but then finally there was one heading straight twords Maikeru, and crashed into the them, then exploded. "Yes, no thanks to you Akki, I have finally hit th-," he was cut of by a strong feeling of heat, and when the smoke cleared where the mudball landed there were giant matches lit on fire surounding Maikeru and Kasai.

"Well then," Maikeru said opening his book. "I guess it's our turn now, HITAMA," a little bullet launched through the matches and to the Charleston's book, which in turn lit it on fire and caused the mamodo to dissapear. "Guess, you weren't so great after all."

bic: Maikeru and his mamodo were at a park, she was on the swing and he was reading a comic book, and other than them, the park was empty. Maikeru closed the comic, "Wonder where all the people are."

Kasai just sorta shrugged, "I-I don't know."

Rex sat under a tree sleeping as Ben sleeped under the sun. Bass and dagger where throwing a baseball to eachother.

Maikeru looked at the people playing catch, "Well, I stand corrected, there are people here."

Kasai got of the swing and walked towards Maikeru "M-Maikeru, c-can we g-go now?" Kasai was a very shy mamodo and didn't want to fight unless she had to.

"Why?" he took another look at the two playing catch, and saw that one was a giant bug 'how did I miss that,' "Sure lets go," and they both started to walk to the park exit.

The mime opened the book and mouthed a word, and the speaker blasted a gaint wave at Kasai and Maikeru.

"That's how you wanna play, well then fine," he opened his book and yelled "Hibana!" and sparks flew out of Kasai's hands.

The mime and his mamodo were using the same spell over and over again, "Ok this is boring, Hitome," a little fire bullet sped past the mamodo and went straight for the book, it lit on fire. "Done," he closed his book.

The mime looked very unhappy and then left. Maikeru pulled out a green lanterncomic.
