Of Feelings Powerful And True,
Given To You In A Brand New Hue?
Responsibility And Judging Eyes,
Which Is Nothing More Than Clouds Covering The Skies...

Wishing For This Anew And Mistakes To Be Renounced,
The Mind Withers, And Everything In You Is Less Pronounced...
Forgotten And Cold, Oh What A Life You Must Possess...
But Perhaps You Are Simply Caught In A Simple Game Of Chess?

Dreams Of More, Tragedy Of Another,
Such Fantasies Dreamt, Caused By The Mother.
Given The Chance To Change What Is Right,
Given The Life That Takes Away Your Sight.

Held In Shackles Created From Black,
Longing To Break Free From This Old Broken Shack...
Taken And Bound, Given No Light And No Will,
Afraid And Never Found, Yet Living And Waiting To Fulfill...

With Patience Comes Rewards, And With Wisdom Comes Answers.
Yet To Wait With Your Swords, Or To Question The Advancers...
Brings With It War, Undefined And Broken Minds...
But Fear Not, For All It Takes To Ignore It Is To Lock The Door And Close The Blinds.

....C&C please?

In order to rhyme certain words with their counterpart in each verse, you came up with some weird things, lol. Don't be scared of freeverse every one in a while. It's your friend. *Comforts freeverse*

But otherwise: coolness.

lol, thanks guys.

Yeah, your right. I used to freeverse all the time, but I've found it normally takes away from the main flow of the poem. And if the Rhyming is disturbed, you have to concentrate more on the Rhythm. Which I honestly have no skill in controlling.

It's not that you don't have any skill, but you have skill that needs working for the time being. If you plan on having good rhyme, pull out a piece of paper when you're bored and start randomly coupling words that rhyme. It works! *Thumbs up*
