~Long ago, Angels lived together in harmony. Well, that's how things used to be-until one angel named Yukito tried to be like the lead angel, Utena, which everyone knew that no one could do, and there was a big punsihment for whoever tried to do that.

"You'll never get away with this..." said Utena, with a mad tone in her voice.
"If I can be like you, there would be no need for any rules here. I am the only one who is the best choice to be the leader of heaven here." said Yukito, with a serious look on his face.
"Get out of these gates..there is no need for you here anymore." said Utena, banishing Yukito from Heaven's gates.
"You have made a BIG mistake, Utena," said Yukito, flyng out. "You'll see...I will take over this crappy world, and you and all of your little angel friends will see too. I am now to call myself and anyone who follows me a demon, and we shall one day rule."
"Lets see how that goes." Utena said, turning on her heels to walk towards the palace.

Yukito, and 50% of all the other angels were kicked out of Heaven, and were now called demons. Demons are the total opposites of angels, these creatures are very evil beings, and not to be messed around with. They're home is the fiery place of a cursed place called Hell. Today, Guardian Angels and demons still live seperately, and some live inside human beings. Some humans know that they either have what its called a "Guardian Angel" or is "Demon Possessed," but some do not know of them, they think it is only a way of life that they must learn to live with. The angels, try to save the humans and save them from disaster, while the demons try to destroy them and pull them down to hell with them.
Either an Angel or a demon lives inside a human--all but one...that lives with both.

The story starts out with Serena Kamio, a fun-natured 16 year old who has no memory of her past after a tragic accident years ago that left her all alone. She is longing to find out what her past was, and what her parents were like. Little does she know that in that accident, she was saved by both a demon and guardian angel, which now both live inside her, The angel, Kanna, and the demon Mamoru. She has no clue about them, but they chose her for a reason, which is yet to find out.

The way that the angel and the demon feel is like this: Angels- Seems like "Good Luck" and Demons- "Bad Luck," or even going mad sometimes, but is unaware of it. Serena feels both those emotions, but does not know of the real truth behind those feelings within her. This, is her story--

Serena Kamio sat at her desk watching the moving hand of the clock. Only two more minutes 'till summer!! She thought excitedly. Finally, the school year was coming to an end, and today was the last day of school. She looked over at her friend, Ariana, and threw over a note that read: "Only two more minutes!!!"

Joe saw Serena throw the note and started putting his books in his bag. He then stared at the other people on his team, which meant meet him at his house after school.

The feeling grew stronger and stronger by each passing moment.

Serena pushed her way through the excited and hyperactive crowd to her locker, and took her pictures down. She had emptied it already, but she just finished taking her pictures down today. When she finished, she slammed the door shut and ran out of the school to head to Joe's house. "Finally..." she said as she sighed a breath of relief. She looked around to spot Ariana. "Ari! Over here!" Serena shouted, waving over to Ariana.

But, he also wanted to find out what would happen if he cut off an angel's wings. It was very intriging, and he would find out soon.

"Ok, I'm calling the cops," Joe said as he went for the phone and dialed 911. "Hello?" He asked. "There's a freak at my house, and he broke in," He lied. "And now he's trying to take my sister. The address is 14 Angel Lane. And hurry!" He exclaimed as he hung up the phone.

Lawliet looked at Joe with no emotion playing with his hair. "Even if you do call the cops," He said. "They won't come if I tell them to stay put," Lawliet said pulling out his cell phone and calling the cheif. "Yes, the call about 14 Angel Lane, phony call, i'll take care of it," and with that the cheif held back all the cops and Lawliet hung up his phone.

"How'd you--What's that supposed to mean 'Im not as smart as I look?' Just go away!" Serena yelled.

"I-I'm fine. And i'm leaving. See you guys later." Serena said, turning to leave with her hand on her chest.

Serena took one look at this guy and ran out of the room, toawrds her apartment. The feeling was getting worse, and she didn't need this guy interrogating her all day. No, not on her first day of summer break. Then, she wondered, "Maybe he's right...nah...no. He's a creep." she mumbled.

Lawliet then ignored everyone and snuck out after Serena without anyone noticing. He followed her to her apartment and snuck in through the back door and hid himself.

Serena sat back in her wicker chair and looked out to the sparkling ocean while grasping her paining chest. "That guy was sure wierd.." she mumbled to herself. She closed her eyes to try to forget all the pain.

Lawliet crept around the house quietly and then spotted the girl and crept up to her trying not to wake her up and got so close he was an inch away from her face. He didn't want to scare her, but he wanted to find out more from her, and would wait there in that position until she would wake up.

"Oh! I'm sorry, i didn't mean to frighten you!" Lawliet said helping the girl up to her feet. "I didn't know you would react like that or I would have stepped back a little. Although I don't think I was kneeling that close, was I?"

Lawliet yelled as then light grew, and he feel asleep, and appeared in front of Serena and the others.
