Attempt at a poem

Definitly less emo, but I dunno... XD

Another kindle lights the air
Exotic aromas escape such fire
a shapeless form amidst the wind
through the moon's blue rays

A burst of light
a memory in the air
taunting the diminished shine
plunder into darkness, raw

Convey the word of Venus
they teach us little of her theory
she lies gasping in her lair
rotting to the core so bare

The moonshine has failed us
but what's in a name?
the moon by any other
would ruin more then just my rhyme
