Helix: The True Hero

Tides of the reminiscent mind lap against
My feet, enveloping the somber skin in Malignant peace.
Sliding over grains of sand so fine that
Friction makes no entrance to startle.
Gazing over such seas brings feelings
Of quiet determination and forewarned happiness,
But not all feeling yields positive this day,
As the waves churn and fabricate upon another and another...
For fortunate feeling naught brings a smile
To the faces of children, who also play happily
In the waves of the mind, for they know that end is close.
And happy will make way for unbalanced thought.
But why such dread for such peaceful landscape?
For the mindset is not always of proper proportions.
Just as the waves shift ever so slightly in life.
The tides of my mind shall do the same...
Basically what I tried to depict here is that somebody's mind is not always made up. Things can happen to shift the mindset, just as things will happen to shift the tides of a beach. :P
