The year was 2012. For the previous five years, government scientist have been studying ways to make better warriors, and creating new abilities. After many trial-and-error situations, they succeeded. Not knowing what to call these new powers, they simply named the gifted 'Psychics'. Unable to keep decent control on test subjects has made it so they cannot add these new abilities to the military. Dozens of projects and test subjects exist, and are organized into classes by thier powers and strength. The subjects, however, could not be given specific powers, but awaken their own, their powers created by the soul.

Four of the subjects dissapeared one year previous, and the government could not keep accurate reads on their strengths. The Classes of these four are unknown to all but themselves. Three of the four stayed together, and one is missing from them, Marcus Echo.

Soon after the dissaperances of the four, the government was suprised when what is known as Class Zeros, wild and natural born, psychics began to emerge, not knowing the power they held.

They reached out, capturing many class zeros, but more continue to emerge. Now, the government is giving all who are found with psychic powers two options: Surrender or Die. The same goes for any found associating with the Four Missing, who are now called the Deserters.

Finally tired of the trouble that Marcus, Zagroy, Xelt, and Anlei, the four Deserters, were causing for them, they sent their top agent, Xairin, to find and capture them. After his failure, Xairin returned to HQ, and was confronted by Nexus, the leader of the Psychic Division. Here, Xairin was beleived to kill Nexus, and become that much more powerful.

Marcus, too, had grown considerably in power, movinf from fire to heat to time. Watching this, Xelt had learned that powers were not stable, but an ever changing thing. More growths began to happen within their small group, which now held two new members, Zeth, a master of sound, and Jace, a master of disguise.

Another titanic battle sounded between Marcus and Xairin, which ended in the final growth of Marcus, control on time. Miles of desert became even more of a desolate wasteland in this battle, and both combatants dropped in exaustion... until Xairin pulled his trump.

He was a result of a governmental experiment, that amplified psionic powers hundreds fold by inserting another Ai being inside them. Xelt distracted the new 'Demon' Xairin, and ended up in the capture of Xelt. Marcus lay unconscious in the wasteland...

After learning of the battle with Marcus and capture of Xelt, Zagroy set out, leaving Anlei in the care of Zeth and Jace. Although he did break Xelt out of his holding, the terrable truth was revieled: One of the Ai beings had been inserted with Xelt.

All seemed to come to a spiraling fall, until Marek, the brother of Xairin showed, pulling Zagroy and Xelt out of a certain catastrophy. Marcus, whose body was unknown, had learned another power, Astral projection. Soon, Marek recovered Marcus's body, and he was able to return to himself.

When Drakon, the Ai within Xelt emerged, another battle took place, both mentally, and physically, which ended in the seperation of Xelt and Drakon, who obtained his own body.

They tried the same stratigy with Xairin at the next battle with him, but Xairin had bonded with his Ai to the point where sereation was impossable... and Marek told the small group of the only way that Xairin could die. They were brothers, and their lifeforces were connected. Neither could die alone.

Knowing with the Ai, Xairin could not be defeated, Xelt and Marcus combined powers, traveling back in time, Marcus's astral form within Xelt, their powers allowing them to come to the point where Xairin was to recieve his Ai. Zagroy and Zeth fought with Xairin, to distract him from the final plan.

Xairin of the current time followed them there, and there was a battle greater than any other between Xelt/Marcus and Xairin. It seemed hopeless until Xelt from another time period brought Marek from the time of the 'demon' xairin, where as only with the sacrifice of Marek, was Xairin finally defeated.

Weeks passed, before Xelt/Marcus returned to Anlei and Zagroy, Zeth and Jace.

Still, a familiar voice called out to Xelt and Marcus...

Marek was still alive.

Ten years had passed, and the creation of an Anti-Government, Angel Fall, was born. Marcus headed the operation, followed by Xelt. The two started to gather Psychics of the world to fight the tyrannical govenment. Only...something went wrong.

Zagroy, one of the only Psychic's with Type O+ Blood, was infected with a special serem, that of the original leader of the Psych Project, Nexus. With that, Zag's mind was corrupted, and taken. Nexus learned of the blood type, and used it to his advantage, stealing the blood of other Psychic's, and adding it to his own, giving Zagroy the power of each.

Marcus, unable to fight his friend, abandonded Angel Fall for a time being, searching for a way to save his friend. Meanwhile, Xelt and Anlei simply tried to live, waiting for Marcus. That was when...

Marek showed up, alive and welland they were soon joined by another psychic by the name of misuzu joined them. They returned to angel fall HQ, but barely escaped when it was overrun by government psychics. Marek, xelt, and anlei attacked a government base and battled zagroy. Zagroy killed xelt and marek and would have destroyed anlei had it not been for the interference of another warrior. It turned out xairin was alive as well. Xairin managed to escape, bringing anlei, and the bodies of xelt and marek with him. Xelt was brought back to life by the alchemist dysidia, and marek was brought back by the bond of love between him and misuzu. Xairin, marcus, and zeth left for a final battle with zagroy, but it was doomed to failure. A psychic vision showed marek that zagroy would kill all 3 warriors, and continue to take over the world. Marek left, pledging to marry misuzu when he returned. Before marek could make it, however, marcus was killed by an overload of his own power. Zeth, marek and Xairin managed to battle zagroy, but the death blow that Xairin struck to him turned out to be too much for his body to take. Upon returning to headquarters victorious, Xairin colapsed on the ground and died. Xelt sank the temple that was their HQ, swearing that no one would find it until it was once again needed, and he became the leader of the new government, with anlei as his second in command.

Events led astray though, for when Xelt and Anlei returned to Austrailia, to Marcus' family, Xelt felt as if it were all his fault. Things had not gone the way they were planned. Xelt virtually dissapeared off the face of the planet.

Anlei and Marek lead the government in Marcus' name, and Zeth took to the road, not to be heard from again.

Angel Fall was no more, now the group of psychics were known as Heaven's Dawn.

Powers : precognition: has a level of precognition unparalelled by anyone, able to see into the future weeks or months when he meditates, can see up to one minute into the future when under pressure in battle. Speed: can move at extremely fast speeds. his two powers are constantly interlinked, as sometimes he moves so fast he would always run into things if he didnt have his precognition. Telekinesis: an ability copied from his brother through the seal on their chests. Although it is not as powerful as that of his brother, it is still very powerful. Hydrokinesis: Again, a power copied from his brother. He is not as skilled with it as his brother was, but having 10 years to practice with it after he absorbed it gave him a very high skill level. Teleportation: He has moderate skills with teleportation, although not up to the level of people like marcus or anlei. Unknown: He seems to posess a variety of other powers that he has not yet fully discovered yet, but sometimes they will appear in combat.

Powers : Mastered being able to teleport great distances and take people or object with her. The power of Persuasion, its extremely easy for her to change someone’s mind without them even realising it. Very handy when being in her position.
Clothing: Always formal wear when in public. Black skirt just above the knees, white shirt and a back jacket. When alone she relaxes in a plain shirt with jeans.

History: She spent the best times of her life and worse fighting at the side of her friends, the two who meant most to her where Marcus and Xelt.
They travelled a lot trying to defeat the Government who was always hunting them down and with every day she grew closer to them meeting new people like them. But hearing the death of Marcus she realised that her feeling for Xelt could not compared to those she felt for Marcus and soon started to hate Xelt. Promising that in the memory of Marcus she would do everything he talked about she now aims for a world every can be accepted in with the help of Marek.

Marek took in a deep breath. Was this a dream? Was this a premonition? Or was this real? He stood at the altar, watching misuzu slowly walk down the aisle. She was more beautiful than ever in her flowing white wedding dress. Her eyes seemed to shine today, and her hair was like silk. Marek stared at her, anxiously shifting from his left foot to his right foot.
God, why do they make her walk so slow? Can't she just get here already? Seems like an hour since that music started and she began walking...
But he didn't care. He would wait years if he had to. He would wait lifetimes. Because he was in love, and he would do anything for that love.

Anlei stood up watching Misuzu walk up the aisle. She had a fixed smile on her face looking at her friend who looked stunning dressed in a pure white elegantly moving, it almost looked like she was floating.

Though she was incredibly happy for Misuzu she did feel some jealously towards the girl, after all she got her happy ending. Or beginning depending how you looked at things.

Anlei's blue eyes that seemed to of become darker over the years looked behind her at a smartly dressed, well built man stood near the door with his arms folded , feet apart. She hadn’t told any of them she had arranged some bodyguards.

Today was her and Marek's big day, and nothing would ruin this perfect moment. Here goes nothing! she thought.

The ghost in the sky gazed down, looking for something. Hmm...no one seems really...good at this point, but.. He dove down, picking one of the guards around Anlei, and entered his body.

The guard twitched slightly, but stayed still. Xelt mentally smiled. Heh...weak minded idiot...

A young man was lying lazily under a tree, the shade covering his face. He was awake, but he was on the edge of falling asleep from boredom. His cell phone was in his hand, and he wouldn’t let his eyes gaze away from it. He was eager to start a new mission, but nobody had called recently.

“Come on. Come on,” Zack repeated in his mind. “Come on!”

With a slight yawn in his breath, Zack looked up. The bells of the church close to him started to ring. The sounds of the bells always calmed Zack, even when he was a little child. But now, they didn’t numb his excitement at all. He just loved his job too much.

Rakie walked through town. It was one of her favorit place's to get idea's from. She eye'ed every persone who walked by."i wounder if i can go shopping later"she thought among herself

Marek sighed. "Alright..." He said to himself nervously. "I can do this... I love her..." He reached out his hand to misuzu as she reached the end of the aisle.

Anlei sighed as Misuzu finally reached the end of the aisle her eyes drifting to each of the guards. Every single of one them pulled there glasses to the end of there nose giving her a quick nod. Except one, the body guard close to her.

Thinking that he was focused on the couple in front her eyes glanced at her watch then to Marek and Misuzu. "chop chop...time is money..." She muttered under her breath.

((lol okay)) Marek reached out his hand for misuzu as she reached the end of the aisle. This was it, the time had come. He was going to be married.

Misuzu gently placed her hand in his and a cold shiver ran up her spine. It felt like she was in love all over again. She smiled, and got up in front of the altar to say the vows, looking deeply into his eyes.

Marek smiled, looking into misuzus beautiful eyes as the priest spoke.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to..."

Marek wasnt even listening. All he was paying attention to was the one he loved, the woman who would soon be his wife. That was all that existed for him, all that mattered.

[Misuzu]

As the preist talked, Misuzu tuned his words out completely. All she could do was gaze into his icy blue eyes during the ceremony. Nervous?she thought, knowing he'd hear her.

Yeah... marek said telepathically to misuzu. But at the same time I feel peaceful... content... because I know I'm going to marry the woman I love, and I'm going to be with her forever.

Misuzu smiled, telepathically saying, "Same here, Marek..same here...hey, we should pay attention to this old geiser here, or we'll forget the vows."she said, squeexing his hand gently.

Marek smiled and nodded to her, turning to face the priest.

Xelt felt it before he saw it, but he couldn't do anything about it. Marek must have been far to distracted to see it coming, and Anlei...well, she wasn't fouced either.

Had Marcus been there...it wouldn't have happened.

There was a shot fired, a single shot, but all of the guards, save for the one Xelt was in, fell to the ground. Yet...the bullet was aimed at...

"Anlei..." Xelt muttered under his breath. The Guards had done their job. They had created a sheild around her.

But it's too easy. Xelt looked around. She wasn't the target!? Another man, anotehr one was moving now. The Priest!? He himself, was doing something. He had stopped speaking the vows, and was now speaking in antoerh language. Both Misuzu and Marek were starting to glow with an eerie power...

"Marek! Strike out, NOW!" Xelt called out, in a voice not his own.

Marek lashed out, slamming his fist into the priests face. The priest stumbled backward, his image shimmering. He was no longer an old man. He was young, strong, in his prime. And he was blasting psychic energy at them.

[Xykru]

((No, this is what was supposed to happen... ready Rob? You gotta call out the recognition when it happens...))

There was a large swirl of energy about the priest as a man stood up in the crowd. A kinetic shield. This was impervious to most energies...

yet, but in a large slash of flame, the man was gone, standing in his place was a man who was in his late twenties, with ebon-black hair. A distinct tattoo was upon his shoulder, a cross.

"Geez, I leave and you guys have no idea on what to do..." He said, flames dancing all about the remaining fighters opposed to them.

Marcus Echo had returned from the grave it seemed.

"Marc!" Marek said excitedly, grabbing two enemy psychics and bashing their heads together. "Nice to see ya again!"

[Xykru]

"Yeah, I always have to cleen up after you guys..." Marcus muttered, leaping over one enemy assailant and incinerating him on the spot. There was nothing more than a pile of ash to show where the man had been. Before long, the expeirienced friends had routed the opposing force and Marcus stood before Marek.

"Congradulations man. Your getting married, huh?" he said, clasping hands with Marek before turning slightly and seeing Anlei.

"Where's Xelt?"

"He's uhhh... away." Marek said nervously. "He took a vacation. But now that you're alive and well, I'm sure he'll be coming back." Marek then smiled. "And you can take my place as second in command of heavens dawn. You have no idea how much hassle that job has. I just wanna quit."

"Not my place." Marcus said with a shrug. Never did he want to rule over anything, or lead anything. He only wanted his freedom. Now that it was given, there was no reason for him to get caught up in the new government.

"Heaven's Dawn is a place for You, Anlei, all others like you. It is not my place, I do not belong. I led Angel's Fall for one reason: freedom. Now that I have that, I am returning back home. I am going to do what my grandfather did. I will take my life and live it out there. Take care Marek, Misuzu..." He turned slowly to see Anlei and nodded kindly, almost appologetically.

Then he was gone, out in the wastes of Austraillia.

"Back home..."

Marek flashed next to marcus. "Marc, just like that? You fought and died for this government and just like that you leave?"

"It takes more than a million degrees to kill me. I was not dead. I have been alive all this time mate," He said, facing the many plateaus around him. "I have my freedom. This is where I want to spend it. Like my ancestor. I will protect my homeland, this is where I belong, not in some office..."

Marcus slowly began to walk away. Things were hard to watch from a distance to where he had finally shown himself. He had only wanted to see how the government would run under Anlei, Xelt and Marek. But that event had forced him to reveal himself.

Marek nodded. "Then you are no longer useful to me." His hand lit up with energy as he faced marcus with blazing eyes. He charged forward at twenty times the speed of sound, a sonic boom ripping through the air as he flashed toward marcus.

Marcus snapped his fingers and Marek found himself facing a temporal barrier, a stasis containment. Any further movements would bring him to an utter hald in his existance. "You have Misuzu. Don't make me destroy you mate. I had to take down Zagroy, there is not much I won't do now adays. Marek, go home, go to where you belong. Keep in touch, write, do what you need. I just want to live in peace now. I have fought for far to long, no more."

The temporal barrier was shattered in an instant. "Misuzu was simply a tool in my plan. Just as you were!" He charged forward, sliding along the ground and kicking at marcus's knees, and the earth burst open as water and ice blasted out at marcus's head.

[Xykru]

His temperature rose, incinerating the ground he stood on, evaporating the water, and threatening to incinerate Marek along with it. his fist lashed out, catching Marek in the side of the head, sending him sprawling into the ground.

"WHat.... is wrong with you?!" he demanded.

"Heh... not something wrong with me." He said, flying into the air, his entire body glowing with a blinding light. "Something is RIGHT with me!" He flashed down, slamming marcus into the ground. "I have been behind everything. All that has happened has been because of me." He stood over marcus. "Now everything is falling into place and I can reveal myself."

[Xykru]

"No need, we know who you are..." Marcus said, standing and brushing himself off.

"How can we forget you Nexus spawn?"

Marek laughed. "Nexus spawn? You think nexus is behind this?" He flashed forward, blasting energy at marcus. "I destroyed that pathetic nexus."

[Xykru]

"And I will destroy you." Marcus said, his body vanishing, a shimmering likeness of him in the air then. Suddenly, he was gone, his Astral Form deep within Marek's mind to find the parasite...

Marek laughed. "You think there is something behind this? You think it's another parasite?" With a single thought he blasted marcus out of his head, forcing him into physical form. "I am more powerful than you, marcus echo. I have hidden my power, acted weak, up until now." He blasted the area with energy, ripping through the hills and trees in a massive explosion that would rival even the biggest of bombs.

[Xykru]

Marcus froze the time around the explosions, then reversed the kinetic energies within them, causing them to implode upon themselves and seize their destruction. Time resumed.

"Leave, and be glad I don't truely care whether you live or die."

Marek laughed. "You really think you would be able to kill me?" He chuckled to himself. "You know, you are probably the only one who could match me in a fight. But the fact that you just don't care about anything has just handed me this planet. Goodbye, marcus echo." And with that, marek was gone.

Marek collapsed on the ground at the wedding chapel. "Help..." He said, gasping for air. From his appearence it was clear he had just been in a battle. His clothes were mostly burned off except for his battle suit that he wore underneath them. He had a bruise on his face from being kicked, and had burns on his hands. "It's marcus, he's not himself." Marek said, shakily rising to his feet. "He attacked me. He wants to take over the government. I don't know what's happened to him."

Anlei had her hand on the wound the Gaurd had gotten from the shot while protecing her.
She pressed a piece of cloth gently putting only slight pressure on to help stop the bleeding.
Hes alive...Marcus is alive. Anlei couldnt believe her eyes, they had a funeral, nation wide silence and now he was...alive, there was so many things she wanted to say to him that she thought she never would be able to.

She looked at Marek as he appeared again staring at the signs of fighting. She didnt believe him.
If he had said any other name she would of believed him. But not Marcus, he couldnt of done this.

"Marcus did it, anlei." Marek said, reading her thoughts. "He... he said you were all tools... that he had never had feeling for any of you... that we were all pawns to set him up to take over the world..."

Anlei let another Guard take over and walked to Marek gabbing him by the collar bringing him up to his feet and inches away from her face.
"If you ever. Ever say that about Marcus again I swear I will rip your skin off your flesh". She whispered aggressively into his ear.

Marek sighed. "It's true, anlei, I can show it to you." An astral projection appeared around them, only marek and anlei could see it. It was from mareks own memories. Marek and marcus were standing on a hill that had been decimated by a battle.

"You were all pawns." Marcus was speaking. "I have no feeling for any of you. I used you all."
Marek growled. "What about anlei?"
Marcus laughed. "Do you really think I care about her? She was a tool, I used her just as I used all of you."
Marek spoke. "We will stop you."
Marcus chuckled. "Oh, it's too late to stop me. Everything has fallen into place, and soon all will be mine." Then marcus charged forward, a blazing blade of energy in his hand. He slashed out at marek, but marek teleported away.

"And that's when I came here." Marek said, his face downcast. "I'm sorry. I tried to stop him."

Anlei stared at the astral projection letting go of Marek and pushed him away looking downa tear fell down her cheek.
"I...was a tool..." Anlei said blankly taking on elast look at the astral projection before his faded away. "Him and Xelt...there just the same".

"I'm sorry anlei..." Marek said. "I truly am sorry... I tried to stop him..."

"Just shut up" Anlei snapped walking away from him her Guards following her as she exited the church using a quick teleport to disappear behind a tree in the graveyard next to the church to get away from the guards.

She sat down behind it the blossom slowly floating down, Anlie flipped open her phone ignoring the phone calls.
She was staring at the photo she had taken of the portrait she had found of them, when the was all together.

Marek sighed. "Marcus... why are you doing this?" He asked himself. Why was marcus doing this?
It's like he wasn't himself... like...
And then it occurred to marek. It was like marcus was posessed by something.

Misuzu stood in shock of what was just said. Marcus is alive...yet this way? All too wierd..she thought to herself, sighing. Then, she spoke up saying, "I think we should continue this another day.." she said quietly, knowing how much chaos was going on at the moment. "What do you think, Marek?" she asked, turning to face him.

When the battle had ended, Xelt had disappeared. He has managed to follow Marek and Marcus, and saw the whole fight. Though, nothing added up. "No, it doesn't make sense..." He closed his eyes, floating in the sky, still without his body.

"Marcus is alive...that I'm not suprised about." But Marek...something was different about him. It was like Nexus, only... "Worse." His mind was working in overdrive, trying to figure out what actually happened. It's impossible to tell what actually happened...but I can't tell anyone. It's an impossibility...I've removed myself from this stupid world. None of this is my problem anymore.

Besides...it's not like anyone wants me.

Marek sighed. "Heres the rings." He said, picking up two beautiful golden wedding rings. He slid one onto misuzus finger. "With this ring, I thee wed." He said, then handed the other one to misuzu. "I guess it's better off done quickly. People like me can't have a big ceremony... it would make me an easy target..."

[Misuzu]

"Okay. Fine with me." she smiled, sliding on his ring. Saying in an old manish voice, she said, "Do you marek, take Misuzu Kamio as your lawful wedded wife?" she said, trying not to giggle.

Marek nodded. "I do. And do you, Misuzu Kamio, take Marek kuriko to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

[Misuzu]

"I do." she said, crystal clearly.

Xelt appeared behind Misuzu and Marek. I said I would watch... He stared at the two, and a fake smile spread across his face. "Congradulations..." He said it, even though no one would ever hear him. "Have a happy life..." His smile faded. "Live a great life, one that I was never allowed to have."

He sighed, "And tell...tell Anlei I'm sorry..."

Marek nodded. "I'll do that xelt." He turned to xelt but saw that he had disappeared. "Well..." He said, turning back to misuzu. "Then I may kiss the bride." He leaned forward and kissed the woman he loved with all his heart.

When he kissed her, she wrapped his arms around the man that she cared about and loved deeply with all her heart, and cherished the moment. Now, her life was about to change...for the better.

Marek pulled away and sighed. "I... I had plans for a honeymoon... but under the circumstances I think we'll have to postpone them. You understand, right?"

[Misuzu]

"Yeah! Right now I can care less about anything!" she said cheerfully, happy that this day had gone through so well...well....good enough. They walked down the aisle hand in hand and went through the motions, then slipped away from the crowd. "Now what?" she asked him.

"I'll take you home... then I have some work to do... there will be gaurds there, you'll be fine... you'll have to stay there until this is over. You'll be safe." Marek said those words knowing misuzu was going to refuse, but thought he would try anyway.

[Misuzu]

"Fine with me." she said, smiling. As much as she didnt want to stay at home, she gave in. She couldnt help it seeing how cute he looked. "Bye!" she said with a kiss and teleported to the house.

"What a day.." she sighed, changing clothes and hanging up her dress in a silk bag. She changed into a pair of jeans and a lilac shirt. After that, she made herself some hot cocoa, sitting on the couch thinking about the event that just made her day worthwhile.

Marek flashed into the house. "Misuzu... there is something I need to tell you."

"Yeah?" she said, looking up from her hot cocoa she was sipping on.

Marek opened his mouth and was about to speak, but suddenly he fell to the ground. His eyes opened and closed rapidly, and his body was spazming and flailing everywhere. He had no control, and began to shake on the ground.

[Misuzu]

"MAREK!!!" Misuzu screamed in shock as the cocoa flew in the air and hit the ground that made the cup shatter to pieces. She threw herself to the ground and kneeled beside him and tried to stop him from shaking so rapidly. "Calm down!! Marek!! MAREK!!" She didnt know what to do. Her mind was losing it. From the peacful thoughts of the previous wedding to this.

Marek reached out and grabbed misuzus wrist. "Kill... me... hurry..." Then he resumed his shaking and flailing around on the floor.

[Misuzu]

"W-what?!" she said, freezing with what he just said. "You've got to be kidding me! If this is some crazy joke its not funny!!" she yelled, tearing up.

Marek had a look of desperation in his eyes. "Please..." He struggled to say as his leg kicked out uncontrolably and shattered a coffee table. "Kill me..."

[Misuzu]

"Why!?!?" she asked frantically, trying to make believe this wasn't happening and it was all just a bad nightmare...or was it?

Then marek lashed out and grabbed misuzus ankle. "You should have listened." He said. Then in a flash misuzu went flying through the air, smashing through a wall and slamming into the ground. "Now you've missed your chance."

Misuzu slided down the wall onto the floor after Marek lashed out at her. She looked up. "What the hell are you doing!?" she yelled, getting up.

Marek flashed forward, grabbing misuzu by the throat. "I'm doing what I've been waiting to do." He pressed misuzu up against the wall, holding her up by her throat as he reached for the golden locket that was around her neck.

[Misuzu]

She managed to splutter out some words even though his grip was tight and she could barely breathe. "What are you doing...?" She saw what he was reaching for. "Dont even..!" She felt energy flow through her veins and grabbed his back and started summoning bolts of lightning on him.

Marek was startled by the energy that hit him, sending him flying backward. He stumbled, then smiled. "Ah, so you're going to try to fight me eh?" His eyes lit up and glowed yellow. "This'll be fun."

[Misuzu]

"Why are you doing this?!" Misuzu screeched, slightl stumbling and rubbing her red throat from where he had gripped her tightly.

Marek laughed. "I'm doing this because it is what should be done. Under my rule this world will prosper." He flashed forward, slamming misuzu in the gut and kicking her high into the air, quicker than her eyes could even register that he had moved. "But there are some obstacles that need to be moved in order for me to take over." He shot into the air, gathering a ball of destructive energy into his hands. "You are one of them."

[Misuzu]

As she flew to the ground badly beaten up already, she looked up slowly. "Who..are...you..?" she said slowly and quietly. "You aren't the Marek I know. R-reveal yourself!!" she yelled, slowly getting up and making a severe lightning tree form, with each bolt striking Marek and a swirl of thunder surrounded him.

Marek laughed. "You're right, Im not the marek you know." He ran through the curtain of lightning and grabbed misuzus arm. "But Im still marek." He swung misuzu around in a circle so fast it created a vortex of swirling air. Then he hurled her into the air and flew up after her.

[Misuzu]

As she was suspended in mid-air, she turned swiftly and shot more bolts at his direction and hit his back and shoulder. "Then whatever or whoever you are, leave Marek alone!!" she screamed, sending more lightning strikes and bolts of thunder at him.

"But I am marek!" He said with a smirk. He shuddered as the lightning hit him, but continued to fly at misuzu. "The real marek. Not the fake one you know." He dodged a couple of lightning bolts and grabbed misuzu by the throat. "Now I'll finish this." He shot to the ground, bringing her head down to slam her facefirst into the earth.

[Misuzu]

"No...you're...NOT!! You're lying!!" she yelled, breaking out of his grip but still falling to the ground. She pushed herself up slowly and self-checked herself. Bruised, hurt and bleeding, but nothing broken.

Marek laughed. "Cling to your foolish hopes." He grabbed her by the neck and with a small squeeze of her pressure points she dropped like a rock. He reached down to her limp body and grabbed her locket, breaking the chain as he pulled it off her neck. He flicked it open, checking to see that its contents were intact. "The key is mine. Now I must find the lock." The locket vanished in a flash of light as he teleported it away. Then he reached down and put his hand on misuzus head. "Marcus did this." He said, then his body shuddered and was thrown back against a wall and he did not move.

He woke up sometimes later, trying to shake the dizziness out of his head. "Unh.." He grunted as he shakily rose to his feet. He looked around at the battle scarred area. "Wha-" Then everything came back to him. "Marcus..." He said, looking to the sky. "Tried to kill-" Then he froze. "Misuzu!" He yelled, running over to her motionless body. "Wake up, please wake up. Come on, Wake up!"

[Misuzu]

Pictures of what just happened ran through her head, like as if it were a movie being played. Marcus was throwing her around...trying to basically kill her. Then, she heard a familiar voice, but was faded in her dream. She tried to wake up, but couldn't. I must be dead...she thought in her dream.

Marek shook her. "Come on, please misuzu. wake up!" He said desperately. He gathered healing energy into his hands, desperately trying to keep misuzu alive. "Please, dont die!" He said, holding her in his arms. "I love you misuzu, dont leave me..."

[Misuzu]

She once again, heard a voice but this time, she recognized it...Marek. She tried waking up from this nightmare and saw a glow, and in her dream, walked over to it and reached out to it. The nightmare had subsided. She opened her eyes half-way, and fixed her gaze on Marek, even though it was slightly blurried. "W-what just..." was all the words she managed to slip out of her mouth, yet she could barely talk, as so breathe and let her head drop to the side, but still awake.

Marek cradled her in his arms. "Shhh... it's alright... I'm here, baby. It's going to be alright." He held her, crying tears of joy that she was okay.

[Misuzu]

She slightly smiled and said quietly, "I know." and with those words, she started feeling pain throughout her enitre body and winced. "Does...it look bad?" she said softly.

Marek looked at misuzus wounds and grimaced. "It... It'll be fine."
I'm not a healer... if I dont get her to someone who is... she could die...
"I'm so happy your okay." Marek said, holding her.

There was a faint thought inside of Marek's head. I've got her...don't worry. Her body shuttered slightly, and her eyes opened. "If you tell anybody I was in another girl's body, I'll kill you with my bare hands, Marek."

Xelt/Misuzu stood up, staggering slightly. "I have enough power to stop the bleeding, but we need to find Dyce. He can help her better than I can." He looked back to Marek, and smirked, "Oh, and don't worry about Misuzu's personality. It'll still be the same."

Marcus smiled as he reclined in his chair infront of his parent's home. They had been overjoyed to see him return home, and Marcus had finally given in to his mothers demand that he stay with them.


He had earned this life, this freedom. And he would protect it. He tried to keep his mind from floating back to Xelt, Anlei, all of them. And Marek... how strange he had been...

Marek nodded. "Let's go. But if you do anything to screw up her head, nothing will protect you from me." Marek said jokingly, knowing that xelt wouldn't mess anything up.

Anlei stood up from under the tree fixing her self up in a compact mirror to hide any signs that she had been crying. For someone to see the leader of the new government would be tragic for her, she had to stay strong, emotionless, but yet have symphony.

With a quick teleport Anlei was in her office and fell back into her chair sighing, it had been ages since she had teleported, now it was more of a habit for her to take a plane or car. But it wouldn’t take long for her to get use to it again. That’s if she indeed wanted to start using it again.

Picking up a pen she scribbled notes into a jotter on her desk,

1. Visits wounded Guard
2. Apologise to Misuzu and Marek
3. Organise an investigation
4. Visit Marcus

She stared at the last note wondering if it was something she really needed to do,
Do you really think I care about her? She was a tool...
Remembering the words she slammed the pen onto the desk teleporting onto a beach. "He wont get away with this..."

Marcus' face dropped as a psychic appeared further down the shore from his home, standing warily, he felt his energy, ready in case it was something like Marek...


It was Anlei.


He felt his knees go weak beneith him as he hit the sand, kneeling there, staring in disbelief. What would she be doing here?

Was she with Marek? Was she here to destroy him?

Anlie turned her phone off to ovoid any interruptions and turned to start making her way to the home she knew Marcus’s should be staying in.

But she could already see him, kneeling in the sand looking straight at her.
Only a few hours before she believed that he died while fighting Zagory, but there he was alive and well.
Marcus...."Marcus!". The girl shouted with excitement but then realised while she was there and regained her calm walking over to him.

[Xykru]

"What are you doing here?" he asked, standing and brushing the sand of his pants, fixing her with a bored stare.

"Why aren't you running the place?"

"What am I doing here?". Anlei repeated looking at him up and down reacting like she would with a insult.

"I thought you was dead all this time and then you just show up, and your asking me what I'm doing here". Anlei said raising her voice pushing his shoulder roughly.

"If you had held faith and searched, you would have found me. It will take more than a million degrees to kill me." He said offhandedly, already not liking the direction the conversation was going. Spinning on his heel in the soft sand, he slowly began to walk away. "Don't you see? This is where I belong. Marek came and tried to take me back, and failed. If you try, the results will be the same. I don't want to go back. There is nothing for me there. My life is here, love, in Austraillia, with my Mum and Paps..."

"So were not good enough for you...just tools" She said in a low voice watching him walk away. It felt like all them years they had felt fighting and defending each other never existed.
"I cant believe your able to walk away from us. I couldn’t careless if you and Xelt just died that day!". She shouted at him and then disappeared back into her office where she grabbed the pen scribbling out the last not she had made.
It had been a bad idea, something she wasn’t going to repeat again.
She had no family or love. And she didnt need them.

Mike wandered around. "Damn, this isn't my lucky day...", he said.

Marcus didn't even turn, obviously no one wanted him around, simply because he desired peace.

"Tools? If only you really knew... Anlei... Only if you would have stayed here, with me.." he muttered into the empty air.

Mike sat down under a tree. He stared at sky. "It's so beautifulll at night.", he said.

[Misuzu]

Misuzu felt half something else, and half herself. It was a wierd feeling. "I feel like I got crushed between two 16-wheeler trucks..." she sighed wearily. "It kills like hell..." she recognized the other voice inside her as well. "Xelt...why are you in my body?" she asked weakly.

Marek smiled. "Xelt is holding your body together. Come on, I think I know where to find dissidia." Marek grabbed misuzu/xelts hand and they teleported to a government base. "Yo dyce! Got a job for you!" He said, picking misuzu up and carrying her to an operating table. "Xelt, out of her body now." Marek said.

[Misuzu]

"Ow...that hurts.." Misuzu said, her voice fading and feeling strange as Xelt went out of her body. "Marek..I feel...dizzy...I'm seeing like, white dots all over the place..." she said weakly, letting her head fall on the table.

Marek put his hand on her forehead softly. "Shhh... it's going to be alright..." He leaned down and kissed her. "I won't let you die. I love you misuzu."

Xelt hovered in the air for a moment, and sighed. "I've done my part..." His voice was inaudible to everyone, and that was how he wanted it. "I'm outta here..." He closed his eyes, and disappeared.

He appeared high over the beach, right where Marcus was. He didn't intend for it to happen, it just did. He looked over at Marcus, and scoffed, "Great...at least he can't see me..."

"I love you too...." she said with a weak smile, before closing her eyes.

When misuzu woke up she was feeling better. "Will she be alright?" Marek asked dysidia.
"She'll be fine." Dysidia answered. "Take her somewhere safe."
Marek nodded and took misuzu's hand in his, stroking it gently. "Hey baby." He said softly. "Do you feel alright?"

[Misuzu]

"A lot better than the feeling before of being in a massive car crash." she said, soft-spokenly. "What was done to myself?" she asked, examining herself.

"Dyce just did some healing alchemy on you. You're gonna be fine." Marek said softly. He embraced misuzu. "I'm gonna take you somewhere safe, okay?"

"Okay.." she sighed, thinking. Wait a sec...she thought, feeling her neck. "My locket! Its...gone." she said, feeling the scrape on her neck and the locket not being there. "Marcus...he took it! He ripped it off my neck." she said angrily. "Oh no..." she said quietly.

Marek sighed. "It's alright. I'll get it back for you. I promise." He picked her up, cradling her in his arms. "I'll take you to a safe place." With a flash of light they teleported to a beach. "This is my secret island. My brother and I made it when we were children, as a way to hone our powers." The island was lush and green, filled with beautiful plant life. "We'll be safe here." Marek said, gently setting misuzu down on a bed that had grown out of the ground.

Even if he could not see Xelt, he could feel him, his presence. They had lived together for so long that he was attune to his aura.

"Are you here to try and drag me back? Why is it no one will leave me in peace? Why do you want me to keep fighting?" he asked Xelt, confident that he could hear him.

"What is it you want? I have lost Anlei, are you here to rub that in my face?"

Mike woke up. He realised he was still under Tree. But it was dark still. He could see stars. "It's so beautifull...", he said again. Then he started to look for his sign.

Xelt scoffed, "Great...you're going to start blaming me for things too?" He shook his head, and chuckled. "Do you beleive that I'm here to take you back? Oce you've set your mind on something, you never change your mind." He closed his eyes, "Besides...I've lost Anlei as well..." To you...you deserve her love...not me.

"This place is wonderful...and I dont sound like it, but I'm really amazed." she said softly, still half waking up from before. Going back to the locket situation she said, "You dont understand...that locket...had something very special inside it...Marcus is going to use it now...and...and...oh God..." she gasped, remembering the note inside the place she found the locket. He took the key...he's going to find the lock too...she thought, placing her hand over her mouth.

Marek put his hand on her cheek gently. "No he's not going to. I'll stop him. I promise." He kissed her and smiled. "Well, what a way to get..." Then he froze. "Married..." He stared blankly ahead of him, completely frozen. "My god, I'm ma... ma... ried..." It was as if he was just now realizing it. He stood there staring blankly forward.

"Okay." she said softly. Then seeing what he was just doing, she said concerned, "Whats wrong, Marek? You okay there?" she asked, trying to sit up but felt a sharp pain. "Ow.." she mumbled and looked down and the stitched up wound in her side.

Marek stood in shock staring straight ahead. "Married... I'm married..." He mumbled over and over.

"Yeah..married.." she sighed, still trying to sit up. She felt she couldn't, so she just decided to prop herself up with her elbow. "Why...is there something wrong with that?" she asked, with her smile fading.

Marek shook his head, still dazed at the thought. "No... it's just... I never thought it would happen..."

"Why not?" she asked, her purple eyes staring into the horizon, yet she was still listening to him.

Marek sighed. "I always thought I would die in battle before I had an opporunity to marry... that was my fate... I was to die in battle... but I guess now that i think about it, I have died in battle. Twice."

[Misuzu]

"Which is pretty wierd when you think about it..." she remarked, still staring at the broad horizon. "Hope i'm not slowing you down.." she sighed, feeling the pain is her side worsen so she started letting her elbow slide to the ground so that she was laying on her back again which felt better.

Marek smiled. "Slowing me down? Are you kidding? You are the reason I am alive."

Dyce sighed, watching the two leave. "Great..." His blonde hair was starting to grey, yet his voice was still strong. "I'm left out of the loop, as usual. They never invited me to the wedding..." He sighed, and closed his book. No one ever respects me...I've saved too many lives already, and I don't get to go to a simple wedding. He chuckled, "I hate my life."

He thought for a moment, and laughed again, "Well...I know Xelt will invite me to his wedding." He blinked. "Well...if he ever has a wedding."

Mike started to walk. "Ugh, how long this is going to take?", he said. He couldn't find no one.

"Literally." Misuzu laughed, gazing up at the sky. "I cant believe Marcus is doing this, though. Why would he want my locket...unless...he knows." Misuzu said, closing her eyes. "Oh God, I really hope he doesn't." she sighed.

Zack quickly grabbed his helmet as he headed for his motorcycle. The soldier for hire had not yet received a mission, which made his hyperactive attitude increase. He wanted to go on a mission badly, but he needed to receive a phone call first. He was having horrible luck this day.

“I hope I get a mission soon,” Zack thought to himself as he jumped onto his bike. “I’m starting to die from boredom.

Zack swiftly kicked the bike stand upwards, and then he pressed his hands on the handle bars. He pushed the gas peddle, making the motorcycle move forward. He needed some excitement.

Anlei browsed through files, the internet,documents anything she could get her hands on to find someone suitable to help her.
Seeing the other Guard back at Misuzu and Marek's wedding get hurt she had dramatically changed her mind on who she allowed to get involved.
It was important to have the least casualties as possible.

Giving up on using the Government contacts she used the last possible thing she could think of. The phone book
Scanning the pages using her manicured nails to glance over the words a pleased smile came to her face as she finally found what she was looking for. But that smile quickly faded back into the emotionless expression that she predicted was how she was going to live the rest of her life with . "Zack Range...he’s perfect".
Using her phone Anlei quickly dialled his number.

Zack’s motorcycle ripped down the street. The loud motor roared through the air as he increased his speed. His mind was concentrating on the road at first, not taking his gaze off of it. But then a loud ringing noise echoed through his mind. The young warrior quickly eased on his breaks, slowing the bike down. As soon as the motorcycle stopped moving, Zack reached for his cell phone.

“Finally, a mission,” Zack said, a hint of excitement in his voice. He quickly flipped open the phone and placed his ear on the phone. “Zack Range speaking.”

Mike just couldn't stand it. He was alone... in middle of nowhere. "HALLLOOOOO!!!", he shouted, but everything he heard was just echo.

“Zack Range, I’m Anlei Throne leader of the new Government Heaven's Dawn”, the woman said scribbling his number that Anlei had gotten onto her thin pale wrist.

“I have a lot of jobs lined up for you, body guard, spying, being my personal assistant”. As she said these things Anlei wrote them down onto the little black note book she used for everything.It had all of her plans it in, thoughts, secrets written down to remind her.

“While your working for me you will have a unlimited amount of money, access to areas that you wouldn’t normally be aloud to see, you will answer to no one but me. So, you in?” Anlei asked turning her chair around to gaze out of the window at the glorious garden filled with many different colours, it was the one of the only things that calmed her nerves.

Mike saw city in front of him. "Finally!!!", shouted Mike and he ran towards it.

A smile formed on Zack’s face as he listened to his client. It looked like the Government wanted his help, too. To him, this job would be one of his favorites. Working with the government had to be exciting. After all, the Government leader, Anlei, was asking for his help.

“How can I say no to a job like that,” Zack answered, trying to keep a mature tone in his voice. “Where should I go to start the job?”

Anlei paused for a moment, what was the most important thing to do?. Protect Misuzu or spy on Marcus?.
As she thought about it more hatred grew inside of her for old friends, she was turning into something she didn’t recognised.
If Anlei glanced in a mirror she would realised the pale face with no emotion on it was actually herself.

"You can come to my office, I will let them know you are on your way". With that she put the phone down and slowly walked out of her office explaining to the receptionist briefly about Zack's arrival.

Zack smiled as he quickly closed the end of his phone, putting it back in his pocket. He knew the missions he just received had to be fun. He would be involved with the Government, which meant it had to be a ‘fun’ job. Well, if it was fun or not, Zack would do the mission.

“I’m finally on a mission,” Zack whispered to himself as he rested his hand on the handle bars. “I better get going.” Zack pushed his feet against the gas peddle, making the engine of the motorcycle roar. With another loud roar, the bike moved forward.

It only took the soldier for hire a couple of minutes to reach the Government building. Zack made sure he looked professional as he walked through the entrance. He didn’t want to look immature. Zack wanted to impress the members of the Government.

“My name’s Zack Range,” Zack said as he walked up to the receptionist desk. “I have an appointment with the leader of the Government, Anlei Throne.”

Mike entered city. He was glad to find a civilization again. He had traveled a long way. Now he had reached city. "Promise not to go on another journey alone...", thought Mike.

"I am not blaming you. Only Marek came here, attacked me. I think he was trying to get me back. I won't go back.. I have..." He held up a small vial, inside gleemed with a strange liquid.

"Taken my powers away. I am normal now. I just want to be free. Xelt, you should return to them. That is where you belong..."

((BACK!!!)) Marek sighed. "I just... I just don't know. He seemed different, as if something had posessed him, or maybe he has just changed..." He reached out and held misuzus hand in his. "I promise you, I will get your locket back."

"Whoa, soo big.", said Mike. He entered caffe and ordered something to eat.

Xelt scoffed, "No one wants me..." They're all...better without me. "Anlei...she hates me...and I can understand it..." He sighed, and let himself slip down, his astral form touching down on the sandy beach. "Besides...I don't think I can find my body again...Even if I wanted to."

"Yeah...its wierd he'd do that. Must be important to him too." she sighed. Then, looking back up at him, she said, "I believe you." smiling at him. The bright sun in the horizon today reflected off her deep purple eyes, which made them sparkle. She then tried sitting up again. She hated laying down, only being able to stare upwards.

Anlei stood up from her office chair and slowly moved to the door, she brushed her blonde hair out of the way pressing her pierced ear against the door listening.
She wasn’t sure what she was listening for, shouting? gun shots?.
The normal things she hears everyday.

Zack Range... Hearing the familiar voice of the man she had spoken to only moment before Anlei opened the door her expression remaining serious and emotionless as she beckoned for him to centre her office.

Marek smiled. "You should stay down. Save your energy."

"I hate lying down now...all I can do is stare up at the sky. It's so boring...no clouds." she sighed, laying back down and staring at the pinkish sky.

Marek smiled. The bed she was on began to move, slowly bending upward until it the back was at an angle so misuzu could sit up, but still lean back. Marek sat down on the bed beside her. "Is that better?"

[Misuzu]

"Tons." she said, kissing his cheek and smiling at him weakly. A flash swept through her mind of when she found the locket. Even though she was repeating what she said before, she said, "I really hope he wont find the lock.." she sighed, looking out into the horizon of the ocean.

Marek leaned back, putting his hands behind his head. "Hey... what else was with the locket when you found it?"

Zack jolted his head to his right, seeing the Government leader, Anlei Throne, near him. Zack gave her a slight smile as he slowly walked towards her office. She seemed very serious, which made the soldier for hire feel a little awkward. He didn’t know if he was doing something wrong, or if it was just her regular attitude.

“Hello, Ms. Throne,” Zack greeted as he walked into her office. “As you know, I’m Zack Range. I’ll do my best in every mission you give me, and my best is pretty good.”

[Misuzu]

"It was actually kind of wierd.." she sighed, closing her eyes trying to remember. "Well, I was looking through my old house after you left, and I went into my parent's room to just look around..which was a mistake." she admitted. "It was all to much for me. I started breaking down crying because the memories were coming back to me." She said, remembering the flashbacks and how they hurt her head. "This one portrait in the wall like, opened up, and there was a hole in the wall with the locket, and a note. The locket held a key, but no lock. The note was a riddle, though...its still at the house and I dont remember it." she said, thinking. "Real wierd, huh? My parents never told me about it...and I dont even think they wrote the riddled-note." she said, re-opening her eyes.

Marek suddenly sat up. "What did you do with the note?"

"Its still at the house. I can show you where it is." she said, pushing herself up to an upright-sitting position, only wincing a bit. She held his hand and closed her eyes, and they were at the door of her old house. "Its pretty beat up now.." she sighed, knowing things weren't the way they used to be.

Marek jumped up, grabbing misuzus hand. "We need to go. Now."

[Misuzu]

"Why..?" she asked, shooting a worried glance at him. "But the note-" she said, opening the door and taking a step inside, sliding her hand out of his and running into her parents room. "It'll only take a second!" she yelled, opening the portrait and stuffing the note into her pocket. "Got it!" she yelled, running back and leaning against the doorframe. Probably wasn't such a smart idea to start running.

When misuzu broke away from him he tried to reach out and grab her, but it was too late. "NO!" He yelled as she ran into another room. He ran in after her, at incalculable speeds, and jumped on her, throwing her to the ground and landing on top of her. As soon as they hit the ground the entire building exploded in bright flames. Marek shuddered as he dragged misuzu out of the burning building. He had used his power to create a shield around her, but hadn't had time to shield himself. The burns on his body were severe, and he had many deep cuts from flying debris. As soon as he had taken misuzu clear of the flames marek dropped to the ground, groaning.

[DestinyHolder]

"Your best has to be prefect Mr Range". Anlei said blankly taking a seat behind her desk once more.
"Please sit". She pointed her pale manicured nails at the seat opposite then picked up a little black personal note book, it was filled details she had to brief him on for all of his missions. But the less he knew about the situation the better.

"Range, I give you 3 options of which you may do in any order. You can stay here and be my own personal body guard, protect my second in command and his new wife. Or travel Australia where you will be watching a Marcus Echo 24/7".
Anlei closed the note book focusing her blue eyes on his muscular figure to see his reaction the missions, and also his reaction to the name of the man who she had broadcasted around the world as dead, a hero who died in battle.

[Misuzu]

"Wha-?? Marek!!" Misuzu screamed in terror mixed with confusion on what just happened and dropped down beside him. "Marek! Oh God...this is just like..." she gasped, and remembered another piece of her past. She started letting tears slip on her cheeks. "You're okay...you're okay.." she said, even though it didn't look too good.

Marek trembled. "Misuzu..." He said, reaching out and grabbing her hand. "Don't cry..."

[Misuzu]

"How can't I when im looking at you like this?" she whimpered, looking over his body. No...not again.. she thought, having another flashback of her past run through her mind. "Why do bad things always happen to me?" she mumbled, biting her lip and pulling him up on her lap, making his head lean against her abdomen while she embraced him, being careful not to touch his cut up/burnt parts of him. "Promise me you're okay." she forced out.

"I'm okay." He said with a smile. "In fact I've never been better." He said weakly. Then he pulled up his fist and opened it, revealing a crumpled piece of paper. "I saved the riddle."

Zack jumped from his seat after his client explained the three missions he would be doing. The order in which he would perform them was up to him. But there was still an information gap he didn't usually have when his clients explained the missions they wanted him to do.

“Those mission don’t sound too-” Zack stopped. “Wait, did you say Marcus Echo? From the announcements I heard in the past, I thought he died in battle.” Zack quickly turned to his side, pacing back and forth. “Well, if he is back, there has to be a good reason why you would want me to spy on him. Plus, you want me to protect your second command and his wife. From what I heard, your second in command supposed to be really strong. If it was a normal assassination job, he could take said person down easily. That was, if that person was Marcus Echo. That would be a logical reason on why you would want me to spy on Marcus and protect your second in command and his wife.”

Zack tried his best to solve the information gap he had in front of him. These missions somehow fit together, which was why he tried to tie his theory around them.

“First, I’ll protect your second in command,” Zack answered as he kept pacing. “Then, I’ll be your bodyguard. That is if you have to come somewhere important soon. If my theory is right, then Marcus could attack you when you are vulnerable, which would be away from the Government Building. If so, I'll be your bodyguard first."

[Misuzu]

"Good..." Misuzu said, sighing a breath of relief. "Im sorry for not listening to you." she said, stroking his hair gently. "Now we can share the pain." she smirked, realizing her side was hurting.

Marek reached up and touched her hurting side. With a shudder her side was suddenly healed, and the pain was completely gone. She felt just fine, and her wouds from the previous battle with "Marcus" Were all gone and didn't hurt anymore. Marek groaned, leaning his head back as misuzus pain went away.

[Misuzu]

"Don't do that anymore, please don't." she said softly, wishing his pain was gone. She hated seeing him like this. "Do you need to see Dyce?" she asked, embracing him again, avoiding his bad spots. "From the looks of it, I think you should." she suggested, letting a tear slip down her cheek.

Marek smiled. "I dont need to see dyce. I took all your pain and hurt away from your body... it's in my body now... I'm fine..."

[Misuzu]

"You little liar." she smirked, wiping away the fresh tear. "Lemme see that note." she said, hoping she could figure it out.

Marek handed her the piece of paper. "It's in some sort of ancient language... even i dont know what it says... and that's saying something because I know everything."

[Misuzu]

"Mmm...i'm sure you do." she joked, looking over the wierd note. "Why would this be with the locket? Maybe some sort of clue as to where the lock is..?" she suggested.

Marek smiled, his wounds already healing rapidly. "I'm just happy you're okay." He said, reaching up and gently caressing her cheek.

[Misuzu]

"Im more happier for you. You've gone through so much protceting me." she said, not able to resist his sweet smile and reached down to kiss him gently on the lips. "My hero." she whispered.

Marek smiled. "It's so hard to believe that just this morning we got married... it's like a dream..."

[Misuzu]

"...Come true." she said, finishing his sentence and sitting up, gently stroking his hair. "Its so hard to believe it..." she said, looking at his wounds heal. "How do you do that?" she asked, watching them close up.

"My power goes beyond just speed you know. What I actually do is channel psychic energy to my legs to make myself move fast, but I can channel it anywhere else as well. I can channel it through my body to make myself faster or stronger, can channel it to my mind to make myself smarter, and allow for precognition and mind reading. And I can also channel it into my wounds to make them heal."

A hint of a genuine smile came to Anlei's face, something that was rare for the woman.
Marcus...attack her. Marek did say that he had attacked him but though she now believed him something inside made her doubt this. He wasn’t like that.

"Fine, your first mission is to protect me Range", Anlei said trying to hide the fact she was slightly pleased. Being the leader of the new Government made it impossible for her to make any new friends, and easy to lose old ones.

Reaching into the top draw Anlei pulled out an blue bank card and tossed it to Zack, "Use this to withdraw money now, spend it how ever you wish".

[Misuzu]

"Thats so cool.." she said, looking into his eyes. Remembering what just happened, she said, "Wait...how did you know that explosion was about to happen..?" she asked with her smile fading from her face. "Who could have done that?" she asked.

"I saw it in the future. But... my abilities were bing blocked somehow... I didnt see it until the last second... I should have seen it earlier..." He rose to his feet, his wounds healed already. "I need to go see anlei... she may be able to give me some answers." And with that, marek and misuzu were teleported to anleis government office. "Hello anlei." Marek said.

[Misuzu]

"Wierd...speaking of wierd that's how everything is going on now." she said before teleporting to Anlei's.

Appearing in Anlei's office, Misuzu said, "Hey Anny!" with a smile.

Zack opened his right hand and quickly caught the bank card. He examined the card for a slight moment, and then he placed it in his back pocket. His urge to get his old blade modified was slowly working his way back into his mind. After all, having a better version of his blade would help him, which, to him, would help the mission.

To his surprise, as soon as the soldier for hire looked back up, he saw two figures near his location. Instincts quickly took over; making Zack grabbed his blade on his back. But then he slowly loosened his grip as he noticed the reactions in the room. It looked like his client, Anlei, knew these two. Well, that how he saw it when the two new arrivals said, “Hi”.

"Heh, two outcasts. Kinda funny that we set up this whole thing yet neither of us want anything to do with it..." Marcus slipped the vial into his pocket and looked over the water.

"What about Dyce? Couldn't he make you another body?"

A thought occured to Marcus. If he had taken away his powers, how could he see Xelt? And here him?

Were his psychic powers more deeply embeded within his genetic structure than he thought. with a flick of his wrist, he conjured a small flame.

"Huh, guess I was wrong. Xelt, what do you say we go and see the old gang again? I am sure that we can easily get in. If you need a body temporarily..." Marcus took a deep breath and walked away, returning with a glass casket. Inside was Zeth's body.

"He slipped into a psionic coma. There is little hope for his recovery. I cannot find his mind. What do you say?"

Anlei quickly stood up as the two other physics appeared. "Misuzu...Marek what happened to you two?". Anlei asked sounding my shocked and curious than concerned for her partner and his wife.
Marek's clothes where badly damaged, it couldn’t of be from another attack from Marcus could it?
No…she had to stop thinking like that.

She glanced at Zack hoping that he wouldn’t reveal anything about her hiring the Marek, losing friends and people she once loved was something that was beginning to become far too common for her.
If they knew she hired Zack not because she worried for the couples safely, but more because trust was something she lacked for them. Then she would be completely alone.

Marek flashed into the room, and was surprised to see a strange man in the room. He was even more surprised when the man grabbed his blade. In a flash, faster than the blink of an eye, marek had pushed misuzu back behind him with one hand, and his other hand was glowing with energy and pointed at zack. "Your head'll be on the floor before that sword is even out of its sheath." He growled. Then he seemed to relax, as if someone had told him that it was just a hired warrior. But he was still tense, ready in case something happened. "Anlei, we don't need a mercenary. If you needed protection you could have told me. I would have got someone for you." Then he glanced over at zack and added. "Someone we cantrust."

[DestinyHolder]

"Who I chose to protect me is completely my choice Marek". Anlei snapped in a cold voice, but she did not raise it.
She sighed and walked to the door to exit her office room, "Range, you stay here. I presume your not just here to give me a pet talk Marek, so please take a walk with me".Anlei said opening the door.

Marek nodded. "Misuzu..." He glanced over at zack with a glare. "Stay here with zack." Then he turned and walked out the door after anlei. "Anlei, you shouldn't be hiring people you don't know. We can't be sure Marcus is alone in this. He could have helpers. We can't trust everyone."

"No Marek, we cant trust anyone". Anlei walked down the halls with him, they passed the portraits of every single leader. She was going to get rid of them one day

"I hired Mr Range to not only protect me, but also keep a eye on Marcus. it must be obvious to you that for me to believe Marcus attacked you, its something that causes great pain". She said this blankly without saying the any of the pain she said she had. "Range stays".

Marek sighed. "Anlei, this is a foolish thing to do. This man could just as easily kill you as protect you. And he could bring you false information about marcus. Please rethink this, we need someone we can trust." Then he paused, thinking. "Let me do it. I'll be your bodygaurd."

Anlei stopped to think for a second, "You as my bodyguard...". She leaned against the wall staring at the face of Marek. If he was her bodyguard then he would be around her 24/7. A perfect way to keep a eye on him.
"Fine, but you will be working at the side of Range when he isn’t watching Marcus".

"Fine. And... I've been meaning to talk to you about something." He leaned against the wall beside her. "I've been training misuzu in the use of her psychic powers. She's not nearly as powerful as you or me, but she's up to class 4 level. I think she wants to play a more active role in this government. I don't have to be a mind reader to know she feels left out when I go off to fight some villain and she gets left behind."

"Its too dangerous for her Marek, I will not willingly but her in any danger". Anlei was furious at his words about Misuzu , why would someone want to risk such a perfect life.
One that so many envy.

"But...if that is what she wants then as my second in common find a suitable place within the Government that she will be happy with". Anlei pushed off the wall and walked down the halls.

Marek followed behind her. "You still don't believe marcus attacked me." Marek said, shaking his head. "You think I lied to you."

The blonde stayed silent until they reached an open room almost completely empty except a large stair case leading to Anlei's personal rooms.

"For Marcus to attack you...its just". She paused to try and find the right words to describe how she was feeling, but those feelings just ended up turning to anger. Anger she couldn’t keep inside anymore.

She pushed him aggressively against the wall her nails digging into his shoulders.
"Fine. Iv known Marcus most of my life and I grew feelings for him and I know that he would never cause any harm to you".

Marek didn't fight as he was pushed against the wall. He understood how anlei felt right now, she needed to get her anger out. "I understand how you feel. My brother... we were close. I trusted him, loved him. But then one day he was someone else. He was posessed by that thing inside him..." Then marek suddenly seemed to come to a realization. "Posessed... anlei, is it possible that nexus could still be alive? Could he have jumped out of zeths body before we killed him?"

"Nexus...yes I guess that could be possible". Anlei said sounding slightly less angry thanks to Marek. He lost someone that day too, she had forgotten about that.

"Could that be the reason why Marcus...attacked you?". Anlei asked her voice now calm, and started to believe Marek's story. But she wouldn’t admit it.

"It could... he just... wasn't himself. The marcus we know would never do that. He had to have been posessed by something."

"He said that we was tool to you...what has he got planned...". She released her grip on Marek's shoulder and stood back regaining her emotionless expression.
Anlei started to head back to her office retracing there steps.

"We have to save Marcus...Iv lost him once I wont lose him again".

"If I recall right, it was YOU Marek, who attacked." He said, his body appearing in a swirl of flame. (ZAGROY WAS POSSESSED, not Zeth.)

Marek spun on marcus, his hands ablaze. with a small push of telekinesis anlei was pushed behind him. "Marcus." He said with a growl. "Have you come to kill her?"

THe ebon-haired man compleately ignored Marek's threatening stance, other than a brief glance which extinguished Marek's flame.

"Are you really that stupid? Why would I want that. You are the ones who wouldn't leave me alone. I wanted freedom and peace but it seems that you will not give me any chance at that, so I might as well participate here. I am in no mood for your foolery. You attack me Marek, you die." Turning to Anlei, he fixed her with a stoic stare, not entirely sure what to say.

He hoped Xelt would use Zeth's body, he had left him there with his own decision quiet suddenly.

Marek growled. "Marcus, what do you want?" He glared at marcus.

Anlei stared at Marcus from behind Marek, her hands where shaking with fear something that they had never done while being in the presence of Marcus.
She had always felt safer in his company.

As her eyes meet Marcus stare she couldn’t look away from them no matter what she did. “M…Marcus I…” She tightly closed her eyes turning her head away
. How could that thought of Marcus attacking Marek cross her mind…or was it true?.
Nothing made sense to her.

"I'm not leaving." Marek said, growling. "I know she isn't nearly as powerful as you. I am. I'm not going to leave her defenseless here."

There was a quick flash, and Zeth was standing behind Marcus. "Hmph..." He crossed his arms, and leaned against the wall. "Long time no see..."

Don't tell them...I'm masking my energy to resemble Zeth. Marcus...don't tell them.

Zeth sighed, "Well, what's up then?"

"Zeth. Been a while. I saw xelt the other day. He wasnt in his own body though." He raised one eyebrow at zeth, as if to send a message, then turned back to marcus. "We were just finishing up here. Marcus was leaving."

Zeth blinked, "Sure...right. I'll just stick around for awhile then, make sure nothing happens." He stood back up, and smirked. "If you don't mind."

“Marek, I wanna speak with him alone…”. Anlei whispered standing closer him. Her attension moved to Zeth who had just appeared behind Marcus.
She could remember his facial expression when he was holding the only thing he found left of Marcus.
But knew he was alive…she went so long thinking he was dead.
Which meant it want Xelt’s fault…
“It wasn’t your fault…” Anlei said out loud without realising it.
She snapped back into reality looking at Marcus and Zeth. "I need to talk to you too Zeth".

Marek shook his head. "You agreed that I would be with you 24/7, and I'm not gonna break that. whatever you can say without me here, you can say with me here."

Zeth glared at Marek, "You know very well that Anlei has powers that can be used for escape. If you're right outside the door, I don't think it would much matter..."

"I also know very well, zeth, that you and marcus have powers that could destroy anlei before she has a chance to escape." Then he added sarcastically, "Not that I don't trust you both."

"So then what's the problem? I mean, we're here, no?" Zeth smirked, "We could protect her ourselves. Besides...from what Marcus tells me, if it really is Nexus, he can only get one person at a time."

"I dunno. I don't seem to recall anlei and you being that close, zeth. I think xelt was pretty close to her though." He said, leaning against the wall, his arms crossed.

"Please Marek...only for 5 minutes okay?". Anlei pleaded him, she had to find out what was going on for herself. Then maybe everything would make sence to her, and she could find out who attacked who.

"I maybe not of been as close to Zeth as the others, but...just please".

Zeth scoffed, "Excuse me? Xelt, Anlei, Zag, Marcus, and I were like family before you EVER came along." He took a step forward towards Marek, "And if you ever deny that, then I'll rip your skull out...without powers...."
