which one should i pick and give up out of the sword, the shield ,and the micky stick in the beggining of kh

Ultimately, choosing to fight with the wand is the best choice.
What you give up can be decided by considering what you want
more, give up the shield and have less defence points, or give
up the sword and have less attack points. I would give up the
sword.

considering for KH1, its really what u want out of the beginning and what u find more useful towards the end. Ultimately magic in KH1 really sucks towards the end except for healing, and most of what u do is from ur keyblade which is why i always go for the sword. As for what to give up, i usally give up the shield, since im such a pro and i dont get hit that often to worry about dying, however if ur a beginner, than just go for whats ur favorite.

Id say its practically impossible to muck it up whatever choice u make is fun. I always like sword and drop shield cause u have enough damage points to kill and enough magic to use heal as defense

When I first played I chose the sword, but now I choose the shield so I can get guard and second chance sooner. But this will leave you with less MP throughout the game.

Exactly. In the game there are always ways to boost you Attack and
Defense Points but you can only ever boost your Magic Points by only
leveling up and equipment. Choosing the wand is the best choice cause
then you'll have more Magic Points. (Or at least this is I suspect from
gameplay observations)

in every game with choices like this...i always choose the sword..iuno why..i just prefer strength over anything else..and yea, it won't make much of a difference, that's what i think...soo yea..take the shield..lol

i generally like to choose different combinations every time i restart it. so just like it was said before in here "you cant muck it up". every choice has its own perks. even choosing shield will give you a grea character.

gotta be honest, its all down to personal opinion and preferance.

If you rely on strength and just go mindlessly slashing at things then go for the sword for increased attack.

If you prefer having a tank thn keep the shield for defense.

And if you prefer strategy and timing your hits then take the wand for better magic skill

i always choose the sword but then again i just love charging into enemies so its all good xD

I always choose the sword, it makes you stronger and gives you more HP, also you will get things like ragnarok or ars rcanum sooner, than if you choose the wand or the sheild.
