I honestly can't remember if I posted this before >.<
The New Age of the world has begun, and technology is at it's peak. Thousands of people have their lives improved by such technology, and the World florished.
Until the crash.
The crash was sudden, and impacted the world greatly. Thousands perished, and many more were killed during mobs and raids. No one truly understands what happened. Technology still worked, but thousands forgot its uses. People rioted in the streets, and hundreds of gangs and groups were formed.
There had been rumors, of how the crash began. It was said to be a powerful Spirit, something that used magic to bring the downfall. Supposedly, magic was the cause of the downfall, the crash that ruined the world. But..the only way to use magic was through a spirit. THough, no one could tame the powerful spirits from the newly awakened Spirit Realm.
No one could survive, not without help.
Then, amongst the chaos, a single man rose up to take control. The man...was named Syranox. He came to power swiftly, promising many food and shelter. Many agreed to this new power, and followed him. He was a strong, powerful leader, and could hold up his clan and his people, but how? It was rumored that he was a powerful Spirit weilder himself...
But...was this new power, this man Syranox...was he truly a savior? Or would he become a tyrant? Would he bring the Dawn? Or would he bring a never ending Nightmare? Would the world be lost in Ruin, or could this man, Syranox, bring about the Dawn of an Era?
Magic System: The magic is based off of a Spirit System, in which the characters are chosen by a spirit, and must learn to bond and work with their spirit. The Magic is elemental, and can pretty much be used as it can in most Rp's and games.
However, the Spirits have feelings too. They can come and go as they please if they dislike you, and take a great amount of power to control against their will. Spirits choose the weilder, not the otehr way around... But what is the secret behind the Spirits. Where did they come from? Why had they been hidden for so long, and...why are they somtimes thought to be the cause of the great Crash?

Okay, so...I have an idea for magic as well...based a little off of one fo the Tales games (Phantasia I think). Spirits, which chose the wielder, give powerful magic to the user.
