Why is the sky so dark today?
And how come that man took all that money?
What happened to the dog?
Why are you crying?

It all happened so fast; the past I hide is oh so vast,
It takes me by surprise, the tears flowing down my eyes,
Remembering the day’s Dad wasn’t so wise, and the dog just up and dies.
Mom was trying to say her goodbyes,
And Dad was trying so hard to come up with lies.
My rhymes are starting this game of chess,
My rooks are nothing but a mess,
That’s what I get when I stress.
It’s all behind me now, I guess.

Unsurpassed till I’m surpassed,
At long last I can get past,

What their problems suggest is just what the guy suspects

But now I know at least I passed my own exam,
