Yeah I agree a subject helps. Also it can be helpful to plan a verse/chorus structure to write your lyrics around, if you're having trouble getting started. I always choose things like key, timing and structure first before I start making tunes and other bits, nice to have a framework to build upon :)

Well, you'll have to use your words well. Song's like this are created a lot, and while it's completely fine, you have to make your words just that more unique.
