lol Dunno where you got 9 from. There are 7 because they represent each year he attends Hogwarts, and this will be his final year.

Basically the outcome will be one of two things:

1) Voldemort is gone forever
2) Harry dies

I suppose there could be the third far-out option that Voldemort turns to good and becomes best of friends with Harry or something stupid lol.

it wont be released on the 7th of july because its too close to the release of the movie and harry's going to visit godrics hallow first. to find voldemorts horcruxes. Neither can live while the other survives so i assume one or both of them will die and james potter is harry's father and hes dead he didnt miraculously survive he didnt hide hes dead sorry

I am a huge Harry Potter fan and would like to add a couple of points to this discussion.

There is an interview on one of the movies that says that Ron and Hermione's relationship has been planned for most of the books but that the first signs were very subtle. The directors wanted to make it more obvious from the beginning which is why they jump apart in Prisoner of Azkaban.

I heard there were to be 8 or 9 books. Yes, at first there was one per year level so I was sceptical about that originally but he actually anounces at the end of book 6 that he is not returning to Hogwarts in book 7 so this is no longer about school and could really take up as many books as JK desires.

Long ago when the second book came out, JK did say that there would be 7 (1 for each year at Hogwarts), but things change lol

I have to read them quick the first time through coz there are so many out there dying to put spoilers out and I can't stand being told the end of a book before I've read it.
