In almost a split second, the darkness that they were just in, was gone in almost as fast as a blink of an eye. Sora remembered watching Axl and Naruto preparing to fight, and Riku was sleeping. But all of a sudden, Sora opened his eyes, and it almost seemed like deja vu. He woke up under water, in a sinking ship, that was taking him down to the bottom of the ocean.

Sora remembered the days back when he met Ariel in Atlantica, and they took down the evil sea witch, Ursala. But this was different. Sora was still in his regular form, and that would mean he couldn't breath. "Wh-What the heck!", screamed sora, gasping for air. He tried to find a way out of the ship, so he could float to the top, but he couldn't find a way out. Sora ran out of breath and breathed in a mouthful of water. But, for some reason, sora could till breath normally. "Huh?", said sora, confused on why he could still breath even though he was under water. "This must be th next round, then", said sora.

He looked around the room that he was in. None of his teammates were in site, so that means he had to look for them, and find a way out of here. Except for one, because Ratchet, had been eliminated. So that means sora could only rely on Axl, and the two people he looked up to the most through this whole competiton. Riku and Dart. Though sora has not talked to Dart since the seventh round, he still wanted to find him, along with Riku and Axl. Sora stuck out his arms, and closed his eyes. The keyblade had popped into his hands, and then Sora was on his way.

The darkness that had surrounded him drained away, like someone had pulled some invisible cork out of a drain. It swirled about, and as the black scene drained away, it was replaced, as if a painting on the wall was slowly being woven around him as another was washed away.

The darkness was being washed away by water. Water gurgled up over him, slipping down as the darkness fought to be kept alive, only to be overwhelmed by the sheer amount that pressed down on it. Blinking, walls surrounded him just as the water began to pour in on him, and fear grew that he was about to drown.

Getting through the shock that made him look at everything quickly, without really seeing what it was, he looked around at his surroundings with a critical eye.

The room he was in was some type of hall, most likely in a manor of some sort. A window that had the shades pulled down over it stood a couple of feet away. As he walked across the red carpet that led down the hall, he slowly pulled them back, to reveal what was outside.

Cecil's eyes grew wide as he took it all in. Water was flooding in, with no end to it seemingly. Above them, a sun grew brightly, shining into the water to provide the only light source. Far below, the water was slowly, yet ferociously, filling up. Buildings with the same look of the one he was in were placed all over, all beautiful and designed in glamor.

It seemed to rival Baron, had it not been so frightening at the moment. He stepped away from the window, letting the curtain's fall to cover the sight up. He looked at his armor, and lastly his sword, which was still glowing brightly, giving him courage.

Nodding, he started to walk down the hall, though faster than he might have done elsewhere. Opening the door at the end, he stepped into a very large circular room...

Kameo was standing on a street underwater. It looked like any other of the towns she had been it but as she looked up she saw spirals of water crashing down around her. Dipping her head into the air she tasted the salty sweet taste of the ocean above. Where oh where could I be? Now not only was the water overhead it was pouring into the city below, towers began to sink underneath it. Could this be the ancient city too advanced for earth that the God's had to wipe it from the face of the planet?

She looked over at one of the nearby buildings and climbed inside using the stairs to go up instead of the technology they had available. The water was rising, and even the first few steps of the stairs were covered. Kameo smacked herself in the head for being so stupid. I can swim in any of my water forms, she cursed feeling stupid. She crawled throught the building still and reached the roof looking down on the city.

"Who wishes to face me?" She yelled down at the flooding city.

"Chimchar!?" WHAT THE!? Chimchar yelped as he jumpd to the top of the building along with Pikachu They jumped along many flags that poked out. Piplup however, got to the top easily because this area was MADE for her. But when the other two got up, they all began dashing, anfd they jumped, air whippping around, chimchar scare, piplup happy, and pikachu getting a bit annoyed.

But, where they landed was bad. They landed right behind Kameo.

Kameo turned to see the three monsters from her previous journey standing in front of her. Something about them made her feel uneasy and worried. Using her hand she called for a bit of the water above aiming it at her prey. She tossed huge spirals of water towards the three of them giggling. The water was overpowering.

"Did you learn to speak yet?" Said Kameo looking over where the water had hit. She knew the blue one could use water almost as well as her, I better take notes she smiled. "Guess not."

Bastila was enjoying the darkness. It was everywhere, and she was a part of it just as it had become a part of her.
Then it was fading. It was like being inside a fast moving train, staring out a window, as the sights in front of her rushed by only to be replaced by a new one.

The darkness was replaced by a wall of stone, and the ground went from hard to wet. She was inside a dark room, and the sound of water splashing was everywhere.
My, my. I'm actually getting used to this.
She walked forward, her eyes on a wooden door in front of her. The handle was golden and and shaped like a fish. Beautiful, Bastila thought, then blasted the door of it's hinges with the force, enjoying the sound of wood splintering. Enjoying her power.

As she first exited the house, she knew she had to get out of this place. It was a fair city, bizarre compared to those she was used to, but it had a certain... glow. She couldn't explain it, but she definitely didn't like it. Maybe once she would have, but not anymore.

The city and how to escape it wasn't the first thing on her mind however. She wanted him, and she wanted him dead. She scouted out one of the tallest buildings in the area and leaped upwards to the top. Standing tall on the roof, her shadow being cast outwards in the large city, she focused on the force and her surroundings. All the while she only had one target in her mind, and his feel was the only thing she was interested in.

The city still stands and as long as it does my revenge is close at hand, Paladin.

Chimchar, surprisingly, jumper ifnront and created a large falmethrower, he really didn't like this girl, and she turned all the water into steam. "Chimchar chim!" Nice try! He exclaimed, the three got in battle position, pikachu was already thinking of a plan. chimchar took a peek below them. The water was raging and rising. If it touched him, he might not be able to live. He sighed, and then got abck in his stance. Waiting for the girl to strike, along with the others.

I shouldn't transform to destroy these nuisances laughed Kameo walking to the edge of the building. She leaned backwards and disappeared from view falling into the water below.

She emerged seconds later in a tornado of water rushing in all directions on the roof. She laughed as water flooded over the roof.

"You guys are too good together" said Kameo. "It's time to take you all out, one by one." She aimed all her efforts to the monkey one splashing one wave after another at him. Even if he managed to get past a couple she had an infinite source of water.

Glowing light from the sun came through an open window up above him, where a chandelier was also placed, three bars holding it up on the sides of the window. Were one of those bars misplaced, it would most likely crack the entire window, considering how close they were molded together.

Intricate patterns were carved into the walls, circling the entire length of the room. From experience, he knew this was some type of ball room, or a place for anything formal of some type. The floor was wooden, shining because of the light filtering in.

'What is there to do? I will be flooded,' Cecil thought in silence, his armor clanking about as he took a couple of steps forward. Another presence was near... One that was... Familiar?

No. This was different. The feeling this being gave off was making him shudder, causing his Light to flare up protectivly against the darkness that it gave. It was familiar... But it wasn't the same anymore.

Piplup actually thought quick. She jumped infront of Chimchar, lesse then an inch away form him, and began making a whirlpool. She used alot of her energy, and the whirlpool got bigger and bigger, until chimchar and piplup where surrounded by it. Piplup looked exausted, and Chimchar thought she was going nuts. He was surrounded by rapiddly spining water. He too thought quick. He began chraging a large amount of energy, heat, into his chest.

Pikachu quickly dashed through the whirlpool, and was face-to-face with Kameo. Those two were using lots of their energy, so Pikachu had to make sure Kameo didn't attack them.

Kameo sidestepped, summoning a wave of water before her and freezing it, to prevent the rate from getting to it, but she timed it wrong. The entire expanse of water, event the whirlpool froze on the top of the roof. Kameo cursed and fired a heat ball after the rat in front of her.

I can't transform, I might turn into that beast like last time sighed Kameo sidestepping again. She knew she had to take them out without using her transforming skills, but she had to figure out exactly how.

Pikachu let the firbal hit him, and noticed that piplup and chimchar were safe behind the ice.. that was.. untill...

Chiimchaar was saving energy, so he could turn thewater into steam, but, ti froze right when he was done. He let it all oit, Piplup was smart and dodged, but a huge firespin came out of his mouth and made the ice melt and break, there was now shards pof ice scattering alla round the field.

Pikachu sighed, and, noticed that he might have an opening. He wasn't sure if Kameo was off-guard by that show of ice and fire, so, quickly, he shot a large bolt of ightning at her, hoping it would do something.

Standing on the rooftop, Bastila quickly found what she was looking for.
That disgusting light feeling... but close.
She got up and looked towards a large, circular building. The Paladin was inside, she was sure. She didn't waste anytime making a plan, she didn't need a plan.
All she needed was to get there.
She knew she was going to enjoy this. Reaching out with her mind she felt for his, and quickly found it.

I am coming for you.
The message was short, but it was clear enough.

Then she was on her way, rooftop to rooftop, as her target grew closer and closer.

That same presence that disturbed Cecil so began to move, and angrily at that. It was coming closer, to him. Staring up at the window once more, he stepped backwards to be able to look at it without straining his neck, up against the door.

The being was above him, he knew. Without waiting, he drew out his sword, glancing at it for a moment to look at it's shining Light. He sighed, putting himself in a defensive position, and hoping that it would pass him by.

Kameo couldn't dodge the lightning as it crashed across her body. She flew backwards the lightning shocking every part of her body. She threw her hands up as the skidded across the ground scraping her hands badly. She clutched her hand closer and sighed damn monsters got the better of me. The wound was far from healing and even she could tell.

She threw her legs into the air kicking a blast of fire after the rat, quickly and strongly. She pierced the air jumping onto a spire of the roof and sent a wave of water from below crashing down.

"You'll pay for that monsters."

She walked to the middle of the roof, then stretched her arms outwards, palms facing down.
Showtime.
Force flowed through her hands and blasted into the roof below and her. A large hole appeared as the combination of wood and stone splintered splintered and fell downwards, Bastila with it. She landed in the middle of the rubble, and slowly got up.

A sharp sound erupted as her lightsaber was activated, and she stood staring the paladin straight in his eyes.

He found a door and opened it up. It led him into a hallway that was completely empty. Sora cautiously walked out with the keyblade in his hand, and stepped down the hallway. The ship was surrounded by water, and there was no doubt doubt in his mind that the outside of the ship would be the same as well. Sora looked out a window, to try and see if there was anybody out there walking aound. He was sure that some of his opponents were good when it comes to fighting in water, so this round was going to be a lot more tougher. The competition was in it's top twelve competitors, so now it's coming down to the wire. Sora looked out the window, and there was no one in site.

Everyone might be out of the darkness from last round, but the darkness inside sora's heart, was still there, and was very powerful. He felt like the darkness was over-powering him, to trong for even the keyblade to defeat. "This must be how Riku felt", said sora. He was literelly prisoned by the darkness, and there was no way out. But he had to foget about the darkness, find his friends, and get out of this city if he wanted any chance of going to the next round, and winning the competition. He kept walking own the hallway, and found another door, but it was locked. He jumped back and used the keyblade to unlock the door. This door led him out of the ship, and into the city. What he saw was amazing. "Is that...it can't be", said sora. It was the lost city of atlantis.

Suddenly just like that, the darkness that Naruto was in dispared and he was in a city. But just not any city a city that was sinking into water, fast and Naruto just happened to appear in the part that was already underwater. 'Just my luck!' Naruto thought, as he started swimming, he was still in his two tail form. Which was good for him, because the charkra suronding his mouth, gave him air to breathe, like an airlock. 'I better find my way out of this dump, before I run out of charkra.' Naruto thought.

He had been swimming for about 30mins, when he came to a door, opening the door. He found stairs leading up, swimming up the stairs he soon came to another door. Naruto opened it and came out in a rush of water, the room which he had came into had not been flooded yet and now he was standing in water up to his knees. 'I better find my way out of here soon.' He said to himself as he found more stairs and started walking up.

(OOC: Well I'm going to find a portal and get the heck out of here as soon as I can.)

The young MegaMan's vision blurred for a moment as the teleportation to a new world began. It always felt strange when being teleported through the space-time continuum. Things felt so trippy. Even since the beginning, he hadn't gotten over the feeling. The teleportation continued until finally a bright light came into view. Vent was immediately hurled through the light as his body slammed onto the ground below. The boy's soft skin bruised easily, so making contact with a hard, painful surface would definitely leave marks on his skin. Vent groaned loudly, slowly picking his body up from the ground. He slammed his foot on the ground as his leg slowly began to pick up the rest of his body. Vent's eyes shifted to his right forearm. A large bruise covered most of it. The young boy sighed, rubbing the bruise softly to mend the pain.

The landscape around him was a very strange one. Vent seemed to be in a city of some sort. He turned his head, looking all around him. Water seemed to be everywhere, as if a rainshower had just ended. Vent took his first step forward in the city, still examining this place as he walked. Suddenly, before he knew it, water seemed to be flowing in his direction, covering up about a quarter of his shoe. Vent looked down to his feet to feel the damp, lower part of his pants pulling downward. The young MegaMan quickly turned around. This was beginning to make him suspicious. What in the world was happening? As he turned body around 180-degrees, he witnessed what was happening and he was immediately frozen in shock.

The water behind him seemed to be rising, then got a bit lower as it flowed closer and closer to him. Somehow, that area of the city had been flooding. How was this so? It wasn't currently raining. He slowly navigated himself to the other side of the street, then looked down. Vent took a loud gasp as he noticed a large body of water underneath the area. The city was sinking, which was causing the flood in Vent's area. Suddenly, his worried facial expression turned into a calmer one.

"Why am I worrying?" Vent asked himself. "With Model LX on my side, I've got nothing to worry about. At least I can use this water to my advantage." He reached into both of his pockets, feeling around for the right BioMetals. "Here we go." He took his hands out of his pockets, Model L and Model X in his palms. "Model L! Model X! Double MegaMerge!!" Suddenly, a blinding white light began to surround Vent's body as the BioMetals began to change his form. As the light began to fade, the boy was no longer human. He was in his Model LX form. He was now a MegaMan!

The appearance of his new enemy didn't surprise him as much, now that he was expecting it. What did surprise him, was who it was. His face showed only the slightest hint of the shock that he felt, recognizing the face, but not the presence.
"Bastila," he said with an agreeable tone of surprise.
Cecil had killed her, hadn't he? Yes, that had to be. The blade went straight through... It had to have killed her. Now, she was back, and even worse, had the power of Darkness. What had happened back there?

These thoughts went through his mind quickly, and as a second went by, he slowly came to his determined mind-set. She belonged to darkness now, and she was supposed to be dead. As a Paladin, it would be him that vanquishes it from her.
For once, Cecil lifted his sword in this entire flurry of battling for a good intention, not a bad one.

Naruto continued running up stairs, with the water following him everyway. He swore it was getting faster and faster and the only way he was keeping ahead of it was becaus he was in his two tailed form. 'How big is this city???' He asked himself as he went up the last staircase and apeared on the roof.

He looked over the edge, it seemed the water had stopped moving upwards, but Naruto knew that wouldn't be for long. He then looked to the right and saw Kameo fighting the 3 pokemon. 'Hey it's the midgets from before. Hey fairy do you need any help?' Naruto asked as he charged up two raszagan in each of his hands, and started to run a Pikachu.

Without waiting for a response, she used force telekinesis to throw the rubble around her violently towards Cecil to keep his hands busy blocking, and immediately threw her lightsaber by the ground to try and force him in the air.

Water evaporated as the lightsaber spun across the wet floor, leaving a trail of vapor rising slowly up.

Sora stared at the lost city that has been talked about for years. It was suppossed to be a city that was taken under water by a Tsunami, Hurricane, or something. It was a myth, and most people never believed the story. There was no solid proof about the city ever existing, until now. But sora also couldn'r be distracted by the city. Because for now it wasn't only a beautiful discovery, it was a battlefield. And there were enemys everywhere you could look. On that note, sora took his first few steps, in the city.

But then he saw someone, someone who looked strangely familiar. "Who could that be?", said sora. The person looked like he was made of metal. "Maybe is it's Axl", said sora. But it wasn't Axl, it was someone else. There was only one other person who looked almost like Axl did, and the last time he saw him, he made Riku fall down to his last wim. It was Vent, a young boy who uses his BioMetal to combat his enemies, and was more than happy to fight sora. Sora thought that maybe he needed a fight, since he half-tempted to fight naruto in the last round before Axl told him to stay back. So, sora gripped his keyblade and made his way over to Vent.

The moment Cecil's feet lifted from the ground, a blast of force surged through Bastila's hand and out towards Cecil, taking advantage of the fact that resisting a blast like that would be much harder in the air.

Once more Cecil grew a barrier of some sort, but it was broken easily due to his amount of time to build it. The blast hit dead-on, sending him flying into the wall, the force actually making it crack slightly, the stone hurting just as bad as the hit. His armor was pressed into it, and it slowly came apart as he coughed up blood.

As he started to fall, he did the only thing he could think of. He sent one blade of light flying towards the light-saber, even if was weak, it might give him time to get up.

Vent blocked all sound out at the moment as he began to think. How could this place be sinking? Was there any way to stop it? How would the others get away from the area after the city sank completely? And even more questions raced through Vent's mind like an epic marathon. Suddenly, his attempt to block out all sound failed after hearing his name in the distance. The voice was distant, but he could still hear it. It was hard to block out all types of sound when his name was being called out by a stranger. He slowly turned his head to the direction in which the voice came from. In the distance was a wacky, goofy-looking teenager. He had immensely giant shoes on, shorts wider than a buick, and the craziest hair he'd ever seen in a long time. He continued to examine the boy's abnormal clothing when suddenly, his eyes shifted down to the boy's hand. In his right hand was what seemed to be a key. Could it be...? Could it be that this boy here was somehow connected to the other keybearers he battled before? Could it be that he was somehow familiar with both Roxas and Riku? It had to be so. This only made Vent even more curious as to who this zany boy was. Vent kept his guard, but didn't want to seem too aggressive. As the boy got closer, he inspected him more thoroughly.

"Do I know you?" Vent asked the boy. "How do you know my name? And that key that you hold in your hand... Are you familiar with the names Roxas and Riku?" Vent was usually straightforward in situations such as these. Besides, he was very suspicious of this boy now. He had to have been somehow connected to Riku and Roxas, but what he really wanted to know was how in the world he knew Vent. He'd never seen this boy at all in his life. In time, he'd soon find everything out...

Cecil staggered up, feeling his back was hit out of place somehow. His sword glowed brighter, urging him to send off power at the darkness that now fought him. Lifting his blade, he quickly lashed out twice, two stronger blades of light flying at her, sharp and designed to cut through Darkness.

He breathed in, as something in the back of his mind tugged at him. He bit his lip, feeling it call, as if it were crawling... It oozed, almost, to his senses. It didn't feel right... Did it?

Shaking his head, he continued on, running towards Bastila, prepared to cut through her if the blades didn't.

The first blade of light passed above her as she ducked, the second left a cut in her shoulder. She barely noticed.
Here he comes...

She caught her lightsaber then sprinted away from Cecil as fast as she could, heading towards one of the walls. Focusing force Kinetite in her hand, a powerful ball of concentrated force, she laughed as her plan had formed itself.

She threw the ball of force towards the wall and watched with deep pleasure as it exploded and large amounts of water flooded towards her. She jumped up and held fast to the wall above the hole with force, and turned around, smiling.

The large amounts of water was crushing fast towards Cecil, and a malicious grin spread across Bastila's face as she focused the force lightning power in her right hand, feeling it trickling, ready to shoot out towards Cecil at any given moment.

Sora was making his way over to Vent, still with the keyblade in his hands, and cautiously ready for a fight to break out. It was obvious that Vent was no one to fool with after what he saw what happened to Riku. But he feared no one, and was ready for an attack. But then he heard him say if he knew anyone named Roxas or Riku, and then Sora stopped walking and stared at Vent. "Yes, yes I do", said sora. Roxas had been eliminated a few rounds back but Riku was still in the competiton. Sora wanted to know why he was asking him these questions. "Riku told me who you were", said sora. Sora was going to explain how he knew roxas, but that would take a little while to do. He stared at Vent, and saw that he was completely ready for battling under water, meaning that this would be no easy fight to come out victourious. And after what he saw happen to riku, he deffinitely knew that this wouldn't be easy. All of a sudden, something started to come to sora, but wasn't a good sign.

The darkness in sora's heart started to overpower him again, and was he was about to go crazy, in rage.Sora looked down to the ground and looked like he was mad. He closed his eyes and placed his right hand where his heart is, then cliched his hand in a fist. The darkess was triggering him, making him about to go crazy on Vent and take him out. Maybe it was these strange flashbacks he was having? Or maybe Xehanort somehow found out about his plan for team sony, and was trying to stop sora from going on to the next round. Sora tried to fight it, and fell to one knee, randomly screamming "Get out of my heart!" and "I won't fall into the darkness!" Sora was going crazy, then he stood back up with his head still down. He tightly gripped his keyblade and said, "Now, Vent-", said sora, then he quickly raised his head back up and said, "- Are you gonna fight me or not."

Riku woke up, distorted. He tries to stand up, but to no avail. It took him several seconds to wake all his senses, and this was wrong. He was the kind that could wake up anytime, anywhere at will.

Everything was dark, still dark, but there was a major difference now. He could see light.

That made all the difference.

The large hall he's standing in was carved out of stone. Elegance and beauty was the only way to describe it, and it took his breath away. Riku walked across the magnificent hall, almost dream-like, and towards a huge seat in the back of the hall. Cerulean, the stone chair could amost shine with power and strength. One word was engraved deeply into the back of its seat as Riku inspected the seat.

Atlantis.

Sudden realization came to him as he involuntarily leaped away from it. "It is the throne of Atlantis!" Awe and respect flowed into his veins, but it did not overwhelm him. He was Riku after all. Surprise did not come to him easily. He began to think in his head silently as he turned away to exit the hall. He could see a gigantic ten feet high steel door at the opposite of the throne.

Atlantis is supposed to be an underwater city... So I must be underwater then. But why could I breathe? This place looked abandoned and lost, so what power was maintaing this place?

It was a dead end in his mind. Shaking away the thoughts, He pushed against the door. To his surprise, despite the door's weight and size, it opened quite easily. He walked through it to discover a long, red-matted corridor. Windows of stone provided view to the outside world. To Riku's opinion, it looked more like narrow exits along the corridor instead of a window. He stared outside.

This was definitely the most majestic city he has ever seen in his life. He laughed a little at this sight, "Well, I am lucky to witness one of the greatest legend in the world. Too bad I don't have a camera."

While enjoying the view, Riku decided to skip the corridor walk and just go straight to the roof. He squeezed himself between the pillars of stone and climbed upwards agilely. After what he has done, this was easy. He leaped from one roof to another, with each step and each haul rising higher and high until there was nothing else. He was at the top.

He tries to scout the edge of the city, and from his vantage point it was clearly visible. He could see something stopping water from getting in the city. Is it an outer line of air? Shield? Bubble? Riku simply cannot figure this. But he do noticed something else. Something that made his blood froze. Something he would've missed if he looked away a milisecond earlier.

To his eight o'clock, to his view, something like water was gushing in. It was such a tiny speck of grain since it was so far, most would've thought that it was a small leak. But Riku knew otherwise.

"Oh god. Whatever that's holding this place up, it's failing. Better get out of here quick... But how?" Riku muttered to himself. This was one situation he did not want to be put in. He wished to be ejected out of the water by a miracle, but surely that could not happen. He quickly devised a plan in his head.

"I should try and find Sora and the other Players. They might have the answer to this... irrepairable situation."

With that, he leaped from the roof of the castle and plunged two hundred feet below.

Cecil gasped as he tried turning around, using as much light as he could grab to create a barrier against the force of the water. It swam around him, forming a circle around him as his loose barrier waved. He forced more power into it, though already it was cracking, his power failing... Water trickled in, starting to touch his armored feet. Looking up, he realized what she had to be planning.

The power was evident in her hand, and he knew that he was as good as cooked.

The grin turned into a scream as she released the massive power massed in her hands, and the scream turned into a shrill laugh as she felt it surge towards her target.

The whole room lit up as the electricity escaped every single one of Bastila's fingers, and bright, blue light escaped out the windows.

This... is true beauty,

Complete pain filled Cecil as his barrier broke, and the water rushed through to cover him, relentless and unmerciful. The electricity shocked him to his very bone, making his heart skip, maybe even stop. The dark water filled him as he closed his eyes, something in it sucking away his power. His Light!

His sword floated away, his grip on it completely loosened. It floated away, growing less, and less, dimmer.

Bastila was done, and her revenge felt better then she could ever have hoped. And all the power! The power! She was caressing it in her own mind. Loving it.
She let the lightning die out, the last blue light faded from the walls as vapor was filling the room.

It had been hot alright. She let go and landed in the water, staring at the Paladin as he lost grip on his sword. Turning around she walked out the hole she had created, and started towards high grounds again, finally being able to focus on getting out now that her thirst for revenge had been satisfied.

"Beautiful..."

Vent only stared in awe and befuddlement as he watched Sora put on the dramatic display. He didn't know what in the world was happening to him, but he just knew that it meant trouble for him. He then thought back to what Sora just told him-- how Riku told Sora all about him. These keybearers certainly were a strange and unique bunch. All the more challenging of opponents was the way Vent looked at the situation. He examined the boy once more, this time enraged and insane for some apparent reason. Vent glared at Sora. It was obvious that in his current condition, whatever it was, he was hungry for an epic, action-packed fight. Vent was not the type of person to disappoint others. If it was a skirmish that Sora wanted, it was a skirmish Sora would get. Vent would not hold back. Although, he'd have to finish this quickly. Each passing second, the large body of water grew in size, continuing it's consumption of the city. Vent had nothing to worry about, in this case. If it was a regular sea, Vent could easily make his way through with his Model LX. Vent looked into Sora's eyes, lusting for a battle.

Model X, who is this guy again? Vent telepathically asked his BioMetal. Do a full scan on him. I at least want to know who he is before I demolish him. A series of beeps soon interrupted the silence. Model X was beginning the scanning process to learn more about this Sora person.

Vent, I have information on him, Model X replied. It seems that his name is Sora. His home world is the Destiny Islands, and he is the wielder of something known as a Keyblade, just as Roxas and Riku were. That proved it. Roxas, Riku, and Sora were connected somehow-- by their Keyblades. That was their link. Vent gave a slight smirk to Sora.

"Well, I guess I can give you a fight," Vent responded to Sora. "But... can you keep up with my moves?" He channeled LX's energy through his body, ready to unleash his first attack. "Hyouruu!!" Vent exclaimed. Suddenly, the water around both him and Sora began to bubble as, out of nowhere, a large, long dragon spurted from the large sea around them. The dragon roared as it's body suddenly began to freeze, forming a powerful ice dragon. Setting it's sights on it's enemy, Sora, it let out one last roar as it soared through the air, ready to bite down on Sora's flesh.

At this point, sora was in complete rage. He was more powerful than ever before, and he could take down anything that Vent threw in his way. He watched as the large ice dragon flew down, and was about to bite sora in half. In a split second, sora dodge rolled out of it's path, before the dragon got to him. Every other second, he would get these chest pains that would strike sora. Maybe it was another sign from Xehanort trying to slow him down, and have Vent win ths fight. He couldn't let Xehanort get to him, and he couldn't let the darkness take him over. He tried his hardest to focus on Vent. He ran around the battlefield casting thunder and blizzaed spells at the the dragon, trying to at least slow it down.

Then sora noticed that his drive guage was at it's full capacity. Final, Valor, and Master form all had to with sora slicing his opponents with the keyblade. There was no way he could get close enough to the dragon without it completely tearing him in half. There was only one other choice. He jumped back and got ready to transform, "Give me strength!", said sora. Sora suddenely transformed into Wisdom Form. He ran around the battle field shooting at the dragon, and was about to hit it.

The light filtered from above in small bursts, as the deadly water slowly burned away his energy, his power, and more importantly, his Light. It gnawed at him, a film of particles forming on his armor. His hair slowly traveled above his head, to block his view of anything else, had he the energy to open his eyes. His light trickled away, and with it, his life.

Nothing else mattered to him, but the feel of it. Nothing else could replace it. He would die, here, in this deadly water fighting a lost battle. His mind still had thoughts, for he was far from death, yet entirely close. He would die in pain, without his power, his calling, his sword, and his Legend.

Such power wasn’t meant for me, it seems…

Or maybe… I simply did all I could, and my legend is finished…

What if… I don’t want to die? What if I want to live, and fight until my honor is finished? What if I don’t want to fight with honor? I’ve done so much for this Light… Yet now it’s leaving me. What now?

Embrace something else.

What?

Embrace what isn’t Light. What didn’t simply give you up… It is still there, Cecil, waiting for your return.

Who’s?

The Darkness.

It came as a realization to him, what that oozing feeling was before. It was what called him all this time, whenever his Light began to weaken. It wished for him to come back. No. Cecil wished for it back.

No matter what, since giving up his Dark powers, he had never been the same… It was simply lying to himself, to think that he could hold such power. It wasn’t for him. The power that was for him was the Darkness. What destroyed his Light could destroy anything in his path.

As the water continued to destroy his power, something slowly built up inside of him, forming a different type of power, something deeper, darker. More alive. The dark water began to turn even darker; a smoky plume of smoke material began to fill it, not mixing in it, simply sitting within the liquid.

The room filled with more and more water, and it only became darker. Gently, in the middle of the destroyed room, the water began twisting, forming a type of whirlpool that started to form a circular wall to block off the water.

Ever so slowly, the vortex spun faster and faster, until it formed a gigantic hole inside, down to the floor. What stood inside was a dark figure, a smoky haze surrounding it. The being was completely still as the dark aura dissipated, revealing a black armored Knight.

As the being stirred, blacker smoke formed, though this time a solid shape began to be created inside of it. It was darker than even the Knights armor. A long sword, completely black, slowly floated down into the Knights now outstretched hand. Gripping it tightly with studded gloves, the Dark Knight took a step forward, new armor less heavier than anything he had worn before.

As a maniacal laugh filled the air, Cecil Harvey strode through the water, creating his own path through it towards the rooftop above. Revenge works in both ways. To have revenge, one must receive revenge afterwards. A never-ending cycle.

The Dark Knight was alive once again, and he was determined to destroy everything in his path.

The Keyblade bullets shot at the ice dragon at nearly unreachable speeds. They soared through the air, making it nearly impossible for the ice dragon to dodge them all. The immense dragon roared in pain as the shots continued to strike it. At one point, the shots seemed to be doing nothing to the ice dragon, besides making it more and more angry. The ice dragon let out one last deafening, ear-splitting roar as it rocketed through the air, ready to kill Sora in one chomp. Suddenly, a loud cracking noise could be heard coming from the dragon's frozen exterior. The dragon continued to charge at it's enemy, however. The dragon got closer and closer, close enough to gobble Sora's entire body whole, when finally, the cracking noise got louder, and before Vent's eyes, the ice dragon shattered into little tiny pieces of ice. The ice crystals sparkled brightly, lying in front of Sora's feet. Vent gave Sora a small chuckle.

"Hmm... An interesting ability you've got there, Sora," Vent said to his key-bearing enemy. "Not only do you have a key with immense power within, but you also have an ability which allows you to change into varying forms. Similar to mine." Vent gave Sora a tiny smile, then thrusted his right arm to his side. Suddenly, a blinding bright light began to form around his hand. As the light slowly disappeared, a large, long Halberd had been in his palm. He clenched onto the weapon tightly. "Let's see how you fight with that Keyblade of yours!" And with that, Vent rushed towards Sora, the sharp, gleaming Halberd ready to piece through Sora's skin.

Almost immediately Riku came face to face with a Player. Just as he landed on the ground mightily, someone was there to meet him.

He looks like Minato... But no, too young, too different in personality either... Riku could differentiate between the two almost immediately from the boy's arrogant poise and his rubbing of nose.

Sora saw Vent charging at him with his Halbred. The weapon was very long and sharp, and could easily pierce sora's skin. But the one thing Vent didn't know was that ground fighting was the whole reason he became the great warrior that he is today. Sora morphed back into his regular form, and tightly gripped his keyblade. "You wanna fight? Well than come and get it", said sora. He was about to charge at Vent, when all of a sudden, the darknes had gotten to him again. He fell down to one knee holding his chest. The pain was horrendous, and he dropped his keyblade from the pain. Now that the keyblade was out of his grip, Sora was completely defensless. There was nothing he could do to stop the pain, and he lost all of his strength to pick up his keyblade and continue fighting. Vent was coming at him with a full force. Sora was seconds away from being sliced in two. The darkness had finally gotten to him.

But then, some light. He saw yet another flashback. It was with Xehanort, and then another man with tan pants, spiky hair, and a blue shirt were talking in a desert environment. Sora has never seen the man before, and was confused on who he was, and why he was talking to Xehanort. But then the man summund, something. It looked like the keyblade that that one soldier had in his past flashbacks. Perhaps it was Terra? Sora wondered to himself. It turns out, this terra guy was actually on sora's side. Sora then looked back up at Vent, as he was still charging at him, ready to strike. Before Vent could strike sora down, he grabbed his keyblade and blocked the attack, and pushed him back.

"Darkness.......... nothing..... but darkness. Xehanort.......... get out of my heart!", said sora.

A sudden burst of energy came back over sora. He was back in his rage form, this time even more stronger. Sora took a tight grip on his keyblade and charged at Vent getting ready to attack.

Vent could easily see that Sora had been having strange occurrences during this battle. What these were, he knew not. He only knew that these, in the long run, were affecting Sora during the battle and how he fought. These seemed to be making him powerless or more powerful. The life of a Keyblade wielder certainly was a strange one. No matter. Vent could care less about Sora or what had been happening to him. Sora asked for a fight, and that's what Vent was giving him. That's all. As the enraged dashed in Vent's direction, the young MegaMan stood his ground, keeping his guard up. Sora was ready to attack. Vent quickly turned his Halberd to an angle, using both hands to horizontally grab the handle and halt the attack from getting any closer to his body. The two weapons collided as Vent tried to hold off the Keyblade attack with the handle of the Halberd. Unfortunately, Sora seemed to be getting more and more powerful, and with each passing second, the water continued to rise. By now, the water had been flowing to the west, splashing against Vent's thighs. The water only ascended from there. Sora's strength exponentially increased, and it grew more and more challenging for Vent to hold off the attack. The young boy groaned, still trying to overpower Sora.

"You know... have you tried using pills... to treat your heartburn issues?" Vent jokingly said. Sora's attack continued to overpower Vent's strength, and in time, he could hold out no long. The Keyblade was too powerful, and the attack smashed through the handle of the Halberd, rendering it useless in combat. Vent only stared at Sora and his Keyblade in astonishment, unable to make another move. He was in shock. That puny key... destroyed my big, powerful Halberd...? Vent thought to himself. How... is that possible? The Keyblade continued it's course to Vent as the weapon of colossal power collided with Vent's face, knocking him back with great force. The young MegaMan fell back, his body sinking underneath the water. That one single attack sent a shock through his entire body, nearly paralyzing him. The water around him soon began to change in hue as the blue liquid surrounding his body soon turned to a dark red shade of color. It was Vent's blood gushing from his nose like a fountain. His broken Halberd floated beside him underwater, useless in battle. Vent was now rendered unconcious by the overwhelming attack, vulnerable to just about anything.

Sora had no idea what had come over himself. With one shot, he had broke Vent's weapon, and sent him back into a pool of his own blood. The darkness was only making him stronger, more powerful, nearly invincible. He was more likely to kill someone with a swing of his keyblade by, as he almost did to Vent. There was way to control it, he wanted a fight, not a blowout. He saw Vent laying down in a pool of blood, nearly paralyzed. Then he thought about Vent's question. But it seemed, that not even Sora knew why he could become this strong and powerful. The flashbacks have always come at random, and usually at good times, but they get more intense and more powerful everytime, meaning the pain gets just as bad. "Is this..... supposed to be a god thing?", said sora. It wouldn't be long until he was to powerful because of the darkness, and would eventually be turned into a heartless.

He's always been fighting against the power of darkness, and trying to fight to prevent this from happening. But somehow, sora kind of, enjoyed being taken over by the darkness. He liked being so uterelly powerful, and decimating his opponents. It only gave him the avantage of remaining in the competiton. But was it worth it? The keyblade chooses it's master by having the strongest and purest heart, not the darkest and most powerful. Sora looked back down at Vent and prepared to attack, and finish him off. But would it be right? Sora had already dissected him to the point where he couldn't move. He was unconscious. Finishing him off would completely kill him. Sora grabbed his keyblade, and swung his keyblade at Vent, hoping to finish him off.

How could I be sure he won't stab me from behind? And he doesn't look that useful either... Naruto seriously cannot induce some confidence in Riku. He needed to test his strength first. The sound of water grew fainter and the sun shined brighter as Bastila was working her way up the rooftops again. The water was flooding dangerously fast now, and she had to work fast. Expanding the reach of her sight with the force, she used far sight to look for an exit.

First she checked the borders of the city.
Completely surrounded by water... I won't be going out that way.
She then started looking within the city, searching for something that emitted the same power as the previous portals, those that had helped them escape. She saw many things. There were people here, and creatures. Some familiar and some she had never seen, but most of them seemed to be fighting.
But I must focus on getting out... There!'

She had spotted one. No two! There were many! Now that she had found one the rest lit up like candles. Spread out all over the city, all hidden.
Her nearest was in the cellar of a flooded building. The hatch to the cellar was closed, and water hadn't flooded it somehow, but she didn't mind the water anyways. She had her methods.

Standing up, she headed towards the building with the portal, eager to leave this place behind.

Normally in the midst of battle, Riku doesn't sense any shift of power around him for he was too focused on the fight he's in. Every fighter knows the golden rule: Never get distracted.

But something was wrong. Very wrong. A cold drop of sweat lingered on his neck as his heart does its abnormal, rhythemic pound in his chest. It was so familiar that Riku wished silently that he could forget it once and for all.

The shift of Light towards Darkness. Why? The power of Darkness seemed to grow stronger all the sudden. What had actually happened? Riku questioned himself and his instincts, willing himself to be given a shed of light.

The shift remained. This was no ordinary rumbling of scales between Light and Darkness. Riku knew only two answers. First, something from the Darknes has descended on this world. Second, someone - something has turned away from the Light and became a minion of Darkness. They are the only explanations why the shift did not return to its original state.

"It grows... It grows with each passing moment. I wonder whether hope still existed, whether our heart remained true..." Riku dozed out for just a second, leaving himself open for a lethal attack.

The way to the large house was surprisingly smooth. Bastila was alert all the time and she couldn't feel anything or anyone close to her, yet she had felt a sinister force suddenly appearing far behind her somewhere. It even sent chills down her spine.
Other than that though, nothing had happened, and before long the large house was in front of her. She could feel the power coming from the portal so clearly, calling out to her.

She walked over to the door but what she was expecting was quickly confirmed.
Locked... As if.
She made her second ball of Kinetite that day, pure force energy, and threw it towards the door. It struck with terrifying force and... it bounced off. Flying wildly it crashed into a tiny house on Bastila's side, and the house was reduced to nothing, it's remains swept away by the water.

"That complicates things." She said with a dull voice, obviously bored. She tried focusing her force telekinesis to rip the building completely apart, but it was like it was protected by some force. Maybe the portal itself...
She then proceeded to focus her force on the building next to it. Her face twisted in concentration, and slowly the house rose upwards, ripped away from it's foundations. Slowly she brought it above the house she so wanted to enter, higher and higher above. Then it stopped, and Bastila lazily released her grip.

Ten seconds of silence, then a crash so loud she grimaced. The two buildings collided, and both were crushed by the other. Debris was everywhere, and the destruction pleased Bastila. Pleased her well. She watched as the remains once again was swept away by the strong current of the water. One thing was still whole though. The hatch!

It stood fast in the floor, and this was good, as Bastila would have to race the water the moment this hatch was removed. It was made of plain dark wood, and on it was a carving of a portal. Obviously. A loud crash erupted to Bastila's right, and her eyes widened in shock at what she saw. A giant wave of water was heading straight for her. It wasn't a problem to get out of it's way, it barely covered much of the city, but she had to reach the portal before it reached this place, she had sensed that this water wasn't all normal.

Quickly she reached out with the force and ripped open the hatch, throwing it far up in the air. Water immediately flooded downwards, and Bastila was on her way. Force to her feet, then sprint. The entire cellar shook as the wave above reached them, and water flooded faster than before. It was chasing Bastila. Catching up with her.
When the portal was just few feet away, it did. Crashing into her back, sending her flying forwards and straight into the portal.

Once again the feeling of being swept away was upon her, as she left this world behind.

Why did it have to be water...

Dart's eyes fluttered open, and struggled to stay open. The water was stinging his eyes as he tried to see through the strange foggy effect that it had made. Something else that he noticed... he couldn't breathe.

He tried to take a breath, but only got water. His hands went to his throat, nad he quickly kicked upward. But...where was the surface? Would the surface be straight up?

Dart broke the surface of the water, gasping for air. Water dripped off of him as he coughed and sputtered, trying to breath the precious, life giving oxygen. Once he calmed down, his breathing almost back to normal, he took a look at his surroundings. A city...of some sort. It looks old, like ruins almost. He swam around for a moment, quickly getting used to swimming once again.

"Hello!?" Dart called out, his voice echoing through the empty room. He swam forward a little, and suddenly, a sharp pain split through his knee. He cried out, grabbing his knee with one hand, balancing in the water on his back. What did I hit?

It was a platform, one leading up from the water. He looked at his knee, which wasn't bleeding, though steadily turning a dark color, and sighed. Good and bad... He stepped up carfully on the platform, and walked forward, out of the water.

"Better..." He muttered, and sat down for a moment. He sighed, closing his eyes for a breif moment. How did I end up here? Something cold touched his foot, and he instinctively recoiled, drawing his blade. Nothing? The water had touched his foot...

But wait...I was completely out of the water... The red-clad warrior looked closer... The water...it's rising. He crossed his arms, and shook his head. Nithing is ever that simple...is it? He turned, and ran.

His aim was to escape the city...but how? He ran towards the thin corridor, slipping through the strange, blue metal that the entire place seemed to be made of.

This...is...unbeleivable...

Sora was about to strike Vent into oblivion with one final blow. He swung his keyblade, aiming for Vent's head, but stopped right before Sora hit him in the face. "I......can't.... do it", said said to himself. Vent was still unconscious, vulnerable to any attack. But sora couldn't do it. He was trying to fight the darkness inside of him with the power of light, and was holding everything back. Sora fell back down to one knee, and dropped his keyblade. He tried everything he could to not give into the darkness. He didn't want to end up like Riku, and he didn't want to seriously hurt Vent either. Sora's heart was to pure, and he would never hurt someone if it were just a friendly fight. Sora placed his hand on his chest again. He kept getting these chest pains, that was coming from his heart. The darkness was eating him away, slowly, and painfully. He started thinking to himself, about all of his friends, and all the good times he's had. More flashbacks started coming, but this time, they were good ones. Memories of sora and riku playing on the island together, along with kairi. Tidus, Wakka, and selphie were all playing blitzball not to far behind. Good memories, not bad.

More flashbacks popped into his head about when he met Donald and goofy. They were his best friends through all of his journeys. Then more people. Leon, Cloud, Arieth, Yuffie, Cid, were all in his memories. These people were the ones who helped sora defeat the power of darkness before, and helped save sora from being taken over by the darkness. Vent was still laying down knocked out, but this could've been the perfect time to either run away, or finish sora off. Everything just piled into sora's mind all at once. He had no time to think, but he also knew that he was fighting of the darkness inside of him. "You can't win, Xehanort", sora said to himself. He stood back up, and said, "I have my friends.......... and they're all the light I need", said sora. Sora picked up his head and looked down at Vent. He gave him a quick smirk and said, "until we meet again, young Bio metal." Sora picked up his keyblade, and looked at the city. He had to find a way out of the city before it was to late. "Let's end this", said sora. On that note, sora dashed into the city, hoping to find way out.

It seemed like sora had completely been taken over by the darkness. But if he was, Vent would be six feet under by now. Since the fifth round, flashbacks have been eating away at sora's mind. Munching away all the light from his heart, and to take away the keyblade. But sora didn't need the keyblade, and he knew it. One of the flashbacks he had was on his first journey right before he fought riku. Riku had taken the keyblade away from sora, calling him the 'delivery boy', because riku thought he was the real keyblade master. Sora proved him wrong, because he did not need a weapon, or the keyblade. He had his heart, it was a light that will never go out. It had become stronger as his story progressed and found a safe home with all the friends he made along the journey. His friends were his power, and in that instant, the keyblade was his once again. The keyblade doesn't choose it's mater by how strong you are, but by how strong your heart is. Sora's heart was pure, and full of light. The power of darkness was taking him over, but his heart fought back. This is why Vent is still alive, and why Sora stopped his attack from piercing Vent's face. But was his heart string enough to win this competition? Sora realized, that it didn't matter. The darkness was telling him that winning the competition was the true reason to defeat the darkness within him, but he was proven wrong. As long as Sora has his friends, a strong heart, and the power of light, there was nothing stopping him from wining the competition, and defeating Xehanort, once and for all.

As Naruto got hit back by the blast of the shield braking, he felt 3 ribs brake and both of his arms, chanlling his charkra to his feet, he manged to land. He then looked at Riku. "That's some power, you have got there! You broke some of my ribs and both of my arms! But they will be healed in a moment." Naruto exalimed as his ribs relined and he was able to move his arms again.

"There we go!" He said "Have I pasted you little test?" Naruto smiled, and then reliased that Riku had gotten himself into a trance. 'Hello!!!!!!" Naruto said trying to slap Riku out of it. Naruto then relised that a portal had opened up near him, he was about to go in it. But relised he could'nt leave Riku sitll in his trance when the water had almost reached the roof, he would drown! Grabbing Riku on his shoulders he made his way into the portal.

The young MegaMan could see nothing but blackness and darkness in his view. His unconcious state rendered him helpless in any kind of animation. Sora's pent-up rage unleased a devastating blow to Vent's face. The fountain of gushing blood from his nose began to cease. Vent's face looked paler than before because of the massive amount of blood lost. Luckily for him, in his Model LX form, he could not drown, for Model LX was designed especially for underwater use. The H2O around him was no longer blue. Instead, it was all red. Vent's blood had contanimated the water surrounding his unconscious body.

About fifteen minutes had passed since Sora defeated Vent in their battle. Both of his eyelids twitched a bit. He was finally beginning to awaken from his insentient state. His fingers twitched, also. His eyelids slowly began to open themselves, and in time, all Vent could see was a red-hued body of liquid around him. His eyes widened from the shock. Was this all his blood? Did that one boy, Sora, really cause this?

Vent looked around. He had lost an immense amount of blood from that one attack. It was amazing that he hadn't been dead yet. Vent was vulnerable to just about any attack for fifteen minutes straight. It turns out Sora felt a slight sense of piy for Vent and decided to let him live. He had hoped that he could see Sora again so that he could get the opportunity to thank him. The young MegaMan quickly swam up, away from the bloody water. As he reached the surface, he took a gasp of air. The city was sinking quickly. The area in which he and Sora battled at had almost flooded completely. He quickly glanced around, gaining sight of a mass of land nearby which had nearly been covered by the flood waters. The boy quickly dived underwater, dashing forward, peddaling his feet. In his LX form, he was probably one of the fastes swimmers alive. As he approaced the small landmass, the quickly climbed up. Suddenly, his Model L BioMetal appeared in his hand. His Model LX form was now just X. He slowly put the blue and yellow BioMetal away, then took a deep sigh.

"Wow... Things just keep getting more and more epic here...," Vent said to himself. As he put his Model L away, his hand came out with a brown BioMetal in his palm. Was this... Was this the ultimate BioMetal... Model O? "I was hoping I wouldn't have to use you... but I can't take anymore chances. Things are getting epic. I nearly died last time with my fight with Sora. This place is populated by elite warriors. I can't take the chance of being killed. I have to become... the elite MegaMan!!" He thrusted his palm out which the Model O BioMetal had been in. "Model O! BioMerge!!" Vent exclaimed as a blinding white light began to cover him. Almost instantly afterwards, he looked entirely different. He was no longer Model X... No, his armor was brown, and a luminous blue gem had been on his forehead. Vent was now the ultimate MegaMan warrior... Model OX!

Axl's sharpened gaze wondered across the heavy landforms in front of his presence; his eyes were still taking in all of the information his computerized system could store inside his metallic mainframe. The environment that surrounded his sight was beginning to flood with an intense level of water. He had just recently awakened from his tremendous state of hibernation, but that didn't stop that magnificent liquid to rise to his exact location. The solid landmass that once carried the dull pattern of the Hunter's footsteps was beginning to crumble and shrink to a minimal size, and the majestic flow of the water did not sparkle with a welcoming beauty to the young warrior. In every direction, the horrible liquid had driven further down its destined path. And just with a single glance, a slight nerve of fear sent the boy's body into a situation of massive panic.

"I think it's time to leave," Axl muttered under his fearful breath. "I guess there is only one direction I can move to: forward."

Without even the slightest nerve of hesitation in his solid movements, the Reploid maneuvered his metallic structure towards his only path his could move to. In the warrior's metallic eyes, the only place that could be titled as a safe haven were the brilliant landmasses that were located at a higher elevation. But, even with the wicked sensation of fright in his advanced system, the Hunter knew that would only delay his undeniable destruction. The only sparkle of hope that was still buried inside the deep secrets of his mind was now brought up into the radiate glow of the light inside his soul. Axl knew he had to leave the overwhelming realm, for his own safety.

The young, red-armored MegaMan looked in the distance, the water in the area still rising non-stop. He resembled that of Omega in the nostalgic form of Zero's original body. Long, golden hair flowed in the directon of the wind. His OX-Buster had been located on Vent's left arm, and his OX-Saber was held tightly in the grasp of his right hand. Vent was now ready for anything thrown his way. His reflexes were at his maximum, as was his strength and speed. He truly was the ultimate MegaMan. Vent glanced to his right, then to his left, looking to see if there was another landmass for him to jump to. He didn't want to drown underneath the water. He took one last look to his right to see a large building looming over the area. He could stand atop the towering structure to avoid the water. It would take some time for the water to reach the top of the tower, so Vent didn't have to worry about drowning for a while. Vent bent down a bit, then took a deep breath. He quickly thrusted his body up, leaping very high into the air.

"Whoa... I almost forgot how much fun I had when I was in this form...," Vent said out loud to himself as his body soared across the sky, getting closer and closer to the skyscraper. "I feel... so much more powerful... I feel unbeatable... Now I remember just how much I loved this form after Fleuve turned that strange stone into a BioMetal!" As Vent neared the tower, he stretched his arms out, reaching out to the building. Both of his hands had approached the tower's ledge, and had grabbed onto it. Vent grunted loudly as he slowly began to pull himself up to the highest point of the enormous building. When he got high enough, Vent placed his foot on the top, then pulled the rest of his body up until he had gotten to the top. He took a look around. It seemed as if he had been the only one here at the moment. Vent's long, golden hair continued flowing... flowing like an ocean.

With a sturdy pace in his movements, Axl maneuvered his body forward. As he move forward, he could not help but let his gaze wonder and admire the magnificent realm that surrounded him. Even though his soul still held the corrupt power of fear deep inside the hollow corridors of his mind, the majestic flow of Atlantis still held a small charm. The array of lights that once filled Axl’s gaze was now pondering upon his own view of the divine structure in front of existence. The brilliant beauty glowed with an awesome radiance, which sent another warming sensation through the Reploid’s small, metallic frame.

The lost city, the one that was sinking just below his presence, still held an enchanting thrill. But, through the radiant beauty of the entrancing structure, another existence caught his gaze. A barrage of gold, flowing hair from a higher elevation had seized his sights. Then, the presence of multiple weapons, tools of bloodshed, had escaped the image. As the young warrior admired the other existence, a multitude of memories flowed through his cold system. He knew he had befriended a similiar looking warrior, and he knew which friend the unknown boy resembled.

“Is that Zero?” The Hunter questioned in a complete trance of awe, but the fast pace of his beating ‘heart’ quickly came to a sudden halt upon further inspection. “No, that’s not Zero. That’s someone else.”

Another quick determination came into his mind, another oath to himself. The Reploid commanded his body to follow the actions he held in his soul. With a mere thought, the engines in his feet ignited, causing a heavy level of combustion to erupt from the side of his feet. The powerful force of the flames held great power, and it was enough to plow the small boy forward. His only wish now was to examine the existence of the imposter even further. A closer inspection was what he longed for at that moment.

Such power...

The thoughts that rushed through the Dark Knight's mind were nothing but dark, disdainful and beyond a mere Paladin's comprehension. Before, Cecil had been a mere Knight filled with unwanted Light, fighting to live. Now, it was completely gone. All that was left of the Paladin was his looks, and even that had been twisted, if anyone were to look beyond his helmet. His armor was glossy, new and filled to the brim with a Dark aura.

What was on his mind was complete destruction of his enemies, to use this new and welcomed power to the strongest point it could reach, and higher. Laughter filled his lungs from time to time, randomly, as he walked on, leaving a spot of his power with each step, marking just how unkept it was at the moment. It was flooding out of him, making him feel more powerful than he really was. Or perhaps he was that powerful at that moment.

Honor was out of the window now. Light was his enemy the moment it drained away, and Darkness filled it's rightful place. Power was his now, to do with it as he wished, not binded by prophecies and legends.

A black sword was still nestled into his hand, beating with it's own individual power, providing even more for Cecil's use. He was ready to destroy anyone, and he was looking for a fight, any fight, to show that he could, to them, and himself.

"Who wants to face me now!"

Kameo was standing on the top of a roof, leaning over the edge looking at the man she has faced on the ship. She knelt down as if perching like a bird then heard him speak and took the chance. She was soaring through the air and landed one foot stepping down before the other, gently. She tiptoed over to him delicately from behind and tapped him on the shoulder. A dark presence now swept over her, pushing her backwards. She screamed in pain and landed on the ground hard. Someone's been practicing, whispered Kameo to herself she put her arms up and flipped back to her feet running forward with a silvery water ball forming in her hand. If it hit he'd be frozen in place.

The fact that he was overflowing with power made him hardly feel the use of it. Turning around, he blew a net like blast of dark energy, formed to either catch, or destroy whatever it touched. Most likely, it would be the latter.

His laughter drove from his chest out, expanding in the air to become even louder. "This is my opponent? Someone I took on before? Well, I'm not complaining. The chance to kill an old adversary that my weaker form couldn't handle? Simply beautiful!"

His smugness was completely obvious as his sword sparked with dark energy, and without waiting to see what happened with his other attack, he dashed forward, faster now with his lighter armor, and jumped high into the air, ready to slash straight through Kameo's head, with no mercy intended.

Kameo threw her ball up above her head, creating an ice barrage that speared up sharply. She jumped out from under it throwing more and more ice balls at her opponent, freezing them in mid air to make them arrows. She herself slammed behind a pillar of the rooftop and hid safely. This guy was way too fast and she couldn't get too close without feeling the sting.

She breathed heavily. I still can't transform that darkness form could kill everyone here, even my team members. She paced it over in her head. If worse came to worse she would have to use it, use it or die. She looked down at her scraped skin on her hands from the pokemon battle. I can't deal with all this fighting but I can't run...he would catch me. Hopefully he doesn't know where I went, maybe one of the icicles hit him.

"I don't want to kill you" said Kameo from behind the pillar still. "Don't make me do it."

Cecil reacted quickly, rolling himself up into a ball to protect his more delicate areas. Not able to dodge them, he was hit with a barrage of sharp arrows, though some were deflected by his dark aura, which was still visible to the naked eye, even now.

As he started to fall towards the ground, he laughed, despite the bruises that were already growing on his arms and legs. As if he enjoyed the pain, he laughed as it began to throb, and laughed as he hit the ground hard on his knees.

"This is to much! Such weak attacks will not be enough to finish me!"

Kameo sighed again and jumped into the air summoning a giant fireball and threw it at him full speed.

"Maybe this'll do the job then" she screamed letting it slip from her hands. She landed on the ground gracefully back in her hiding spot. If he finds me I'm dead. She waited to see the result of the fireball. I have to keep it long ranged in attacks.

07-06-2008, 02:32 AM
Cecil laughed as he swung his black blade, letting a dark cut of energy slice through the fireball, cutting it in two. What he hadn't expected though, was that the attack heated up his armor, going on either side of him. The discomfort was annoying, and he ran forward out of reflex to get away from the burning heat.

An opening for his enemy, it was, as he stopped slowly, turning back around to try and find his enemy, eyes watering from the heat. He clenched his gloved fists up, trying to figure out where she could be.

Kameo slammed into another pillar and let the noise echo across the rooftop. She pulled out a stick from her satchel and threw it at her enemy then vines exploded in every direction. The rooftop became a giant forest, and the perfect hiding ground. She slipped her body into a tree and waited for her opponent. She could tell he knew that she was too weak to attack directly. She used the trees to fire arrows of wood after him. I still have to attack at a distance one hit from that blade and I'm Dead, no questions asked. She slipped into another tree and stood atop the trees looking down at the forest expanding to the next roof now. Her powers were amazing right not, but she dare no transform.

The trees spurting out of the ground in masses, all starting from some odd stick. He looked around as he tried to pinpoint her location, blocking the arrows with dark barriers and his sword, cutting through them with fast reflexes and deadly accuracy. Her plan to stay hidden was good, but he knew something that could stop that, now.

If he stayed standing there like an idiot, he would die. So, instead, he raised his sword up, slicing the air horizontally to create a sparking blade of dark energy, sharp and ready to cut. He did this twice more, and they were aimed at trees near him, cutting through them easily before they burned out. Doing this over and over, and dodging trees that fell near him, he would find where she was hidden...

07-06-2008, 03:28 AM
Kameo felt the Tree shift below her and grabbed the stick from the ground as the tree she was on collasped underneath her. She hid under the trunks of the trees now, trying to to be seen. She lit a nearby tree trunk on fire and watched as the entire roof lit on fire. Summoning rocks around her she would stay safe under the flame, hopefully he wouldn't find her, she could go on hiding all she wanted.

She waited for him to try another attack.

Cecil watched the growing flames, he thought quickly as his aura flung around, almost like whips. Watching them for a moment, he blinked, coming up with an idea. He could sense, to an extent, where his enemy was. Something about her, inside of her, was close to the darkness he held. This made her a beacon to him, if he concentrated.

He put his hand on the ground slowly, kneeling. Darkness covered him, making a full, black barrier. As it became solid, he closed his eyes, sending out tendrils of his energy out, like roots. Finally, he pinpointed his enemy.

And his darkness lashed out of the ground, like vines almost, attempting to wrap around her feet, squeezing tight.

Kameo was caught, something snapped around her legs and she flew up from the flames her skin burning in the process. She looked straight at the man, this wasn't the same man she had fought on the ship, this was someone else. Someone who wasn't afraid to rip her heart out and toss it aside, a darker presence surrounded him. One thing he had to have forgotten was her transforming skills but even now she refused to use it.

Using her hands she created a fireball and threw it forward, whatever was around her legs wasn't doing anything but preventing her from moving. With the distraction of the fireball she extended her wings and flew around in a circle around the man. The cords around her wrapping around the man as he had done to her, as she flew faster the cords became tighter and Tighter. She hoped this had worked on her opponent.

"Rule number 1" said Kameo. "Always catch your opponent fully."

4thkeybladeholder
07-06-2008, 03:56 AM
As his barrier dissipated, he was caught immediately by cords, binding him together. He fought against them, but they were simply to tight. Soon enough, they would begin to cut through his armor.

He wouldn't let that happen though, obviously. His core of energy inside of him was still filled up to the brim, as if it were a never-ending pool. However changed he was, his strategic thinking was some what still intact. He knew that would run out soon enough.

His darkness was still in the ground, connected off his fingers. 10 tendrils in total. Three of them shot up, aimed directly at Kameo to stop her from binding him further. Two others shot up inbetween the cords, weaving in the loose spaces between his metal. Using both his strength and the darkness, he tugged at it, trying to make it large enough to fit his sword to cut them.

Before long, he realized that was stupid. Summoning up energy, his sword he lifted up enough with the space he had pulled out enough to come near the cords. The black sword expanded, becoming wider with black energy, sharper and sharper, until it started to cut through the cords. Soon enough, he was free, and he immediately slashed the air, creating two blades of Darkness. Once more, he used the darkness to cover him, a capsule of sorts that hid him.

07-06-2008, 04:07 AM
Kameo flew out of the way of the attacks and spun in the air, kicking the tendrils back at Cecil again. They weren't look hard to turn on him. Kameo let the blades hit her, cutting through the dark energy around her and setting her free. She smiled floating in mid air, althought bleeding, it looked as if he was in worse shape then her.

"Do you give up yet?" Laughed Kameo creating a fireball in one hand. Dark energy exploded out of it and she gasped letting it fall to the ground. The energy sprawled up her arm consuming her flesh. She shook it off and it went flying towards Cecil. It was an odd feeling, not being able to heal yourself. She flew backwards, looking at her burnt arm. This creature inside me is trying to get out, but I can't let it.

The Dark Knights laughter came loudly, filling the air from any possible direction. His apparent sheild expanding, becoming a wide wall, then dissolved into thin air, revealing nothing more than fallen trees that were beginning to burn. From behind Kameo, darkness exploded, showing Cecil inching around, ready to swing hard and fast. He ran at her, his Aura once more creating whips that lashed out at her.

"Hardly the case, my foe!" He barked, intent on ramming into his opponent, with no mercy to himself.

Kameo swung around drilling herself into the building below and shooting roots up in all directions swinging and trying to grasp a hold of him and knock him into the water below. She would have to stay away from him if she hoped to stay alive at all. She stuffed herself behind a door and waited. The dark presence was growing too strong and she wouldn't be able to sustain it for too long. She need to either use it or escape, but she didn't want to do either.

((... Sorry, I rather do it myself. That's GM, so I'll... see what I can do.))

Riku never had time to react when he was grabbed and pulled along by Naruto. One second he was deep in thought, the next second he was - "WOOOAHHHH!!!" - flying in mid-air.

But it wasn't an attack. Just as he was garbbed by the collar and pulled along Naruto's supernatural run, a colossal killer wave of water slammed down on where he stood. He would never have guessed it coming so quickly and deadly. Gratitude and affection immediately came to Riku. This guy actually rescued me! He thought to himself, staring at the portal they're about to enter, and he's about to pull me along through the portal while he could've just left me to die!

Just as Naruto passed through the portal, Riku immediately felt that something was wrong. Naruto did go into the portal and into the next world alright, but he wasn't. Instead, he simply passed through the portal. And now he's sailing across air and straight towards some majestic pillars.

"Oh no!" Riku braced himself for impact as he crashed painfully into the solid rock. "Nngh..." was the only thing he could uttered as he tried to clear the sudden fog in his mind. He stared at the portal.

There was no portal.

"Does that mean only one person can enter per portal? Aagh!" Riku was swept off his feet as he rolled uncontrollably in the tide of water that just crashed down on him. Submerged in water, he cannot breathe.

Okay that's it. I've had enough.

Applying magic to water, he easily opened a pathway to the air above as he leaped high and out of the mess. He was lucky to land on a roof. He quickly scanned around, willing himself to find another portal before everything is too late. He muttered to himself, getting extremely frustated with the annoying situation he's always put through.

"I hope that none of those are under water, I'm not going through that again... No way!"

Cecil used his own vines of power to whip back, blocking them. Quickly, he sheathed his sword, but only for the moment. Using his Darkness once more, and loving the feel of it, he sent it towards both arms, and formed two long, sharp blades of Darkness that slowly solidified. It was as long as his arm, giving him an extra two or three feet of reaching distance. Running forward, he slashed through the vines, though he couldn't dodge them all. One snapped forward, cutting through the bulk of his armor in his chest, making a long cut that immediately he could feel bleeding.

Feeling the blood trickle, once more laughter ensued, as he went into a slightly maniacal rage of cutting, he ran straight towards where he knew she was hidden. Her darkness was growing stronger. He could feel it.

Dart was more or less high stepping through the water, whoch was now up to his knees. Great... He panted, stopping only got a brief moment to catch his breath. This is a bit much...

The water was still rising at a steady pace, and Dart had yet to find his way out of this strange hallway that he was travelling through. He had passed a few doorways, but most were locked. The few that weren't locked contained small rooms with nothing but remnants of an ancient lifestyle.

And so Dart was still lost, trapped in the sinking city of oblivion, the ruins of Atlantis.

The red clad warrior sighed, taking a deep breath. "No one around...and nowhere to go." He started to trudge forward again, stepping through the water once again.

If not to move forward for me...then I'll move forward for those I wish to see again... Dart groaned, trying to move faster and faster. Nothing is working...I can't move any faster...

"I'll see you again...Shana..." Dart muttered.

I won't give up!

Kameo flew up through the hole in the roof and slammed into Cecil, pushing him into the air with her. She was flying at the roof of the next roof where a giant portal lay. Accidentally pushing herself and her enemy through the portal. She gasped as she felt her body slowly faded away and her mind was left in an empty space. Drifting away like it was never tied down.

Cecil was actually caught completely off-guard, and so high in the air, he had no wishes to retaliate and fall to his death.
When the portal sucked them both in, he had time to gasp and breath in hard before it ripped him towards yet another world, another challenge.
His dark aura was put under control for the moment, crushed under the pure power of the portal. It was astounding, and frightening. He knew one thing that would happen, wherever he might be heading.
He would kill two people before this was over.

A new light shined down on Sora. It was almost as if the darkness had completely dissapeared from his heart. There was no sign of any flashbacks of Terra or Xehanort. It seemed as if they had vanished completely. But he still wasn't gonna take any chances anout them, or the darkness to come over him once again. His battle with Vent was really the turning point of the competition for him, because he once again that light over-powers dark. Now that he knew how to dfeat the darkness, he could focus more on the competiton. Sora walked around the city for hours, looking for a possible way out, or one of his teammates. It seemed like there wasn'y anywhere to go at the time. Sora ket walking, and looked for a way to the next round.

Riku leaped towards the top of the castle once again. From there, he could see most of Atlantica, and you could imagine just how big this legendary city is. And how tall this castle stretched towards the sky. Therefore, he looked around quickly, trying to see any hints of a possible portal while he mumbled 'portal, portal!' all the time.

Perhaps I should find something that's out of ordinary, something not a portal but still a path towards the next world. He thought it for a while and finally snapped his fingers, "Okay, let's do that!" And he scouted around again. This time however, he's finding anything else that doesn't seem to fit in with the puzzle of Atlantica. Something completely out of picture. Something -

"Colourful?" Riku suddenly saw strange colours of light to his right, glowing steadily as the raging flood gained to where it stood. They were on top of a bell tower. And it was eeriely similiar to Twilight Town's.

"Ah, who cares! Here I come!" he hold on to the tip of the castle, trying to gain a steady foothold and with a deep breath, made a gigantic leap towards the bell tower. "Woohoo!" he yelped, as he was slowly pulled down by gravity. But it was nothing. Just as it would seemed that he would crash down to the roof of a common house, he called upon wind magic, "Air!" A cushion of air slowed his landing to an abrupt stop just a few inches from the roof as he kneeled before launching himself upwards to the air once again.

It was freedom.

Thirty seconds later, he finally landed gently on the top of the bell tower. Three colourful light that's constantly changing its shape and colour was the only clue he get. He pondered, "Hmm, this surely seemed like a test that I must pass to open the path. I wonder..."

He stared at the changing light. Even though it was confusing, Riku quickly understood what he was supposed to do. When the light turns into a deep blue colour and the shape of diamond, it was hinting on Blizzard magic. When it turned into a pale green light that seemed to shimmer along the wind, it was hinting on Wind. the colour goes on with Fire, Gravity, Thunder, Magnet, and finally Cure Magic.

All three light were changing in colour and size for every three seconds. Since none of the light showed similiar colours for each change, Riku assumed that he was supposed to cast three spells at once. He spoke outloud to vent a bit of his frustation, "This is going to be hard..."

He held both The Way To Dawn and Soul Eater with both hands. He could cast two spells at once with two Keyblades, but he wasn't sure about three. In fact, he had never tried to do multiple castings at once. It proved to be challenging when Riku fumbled in his attempt to conjure the third spell without his hands or Keyblades.

Heck, trying to call out three words in my head at once is ridiculous enough, and this colour just won't stop changing! Riku thought to himself as he tried again and again. "Thunder Blizzard Fire!" "Wind Gravity Magnet!" "Thunder Fire Heal!"

He failed. he simply did not have enough time to do three spells, direct them to respective colours within three seconds. It simply wasn't possible. He then noticed something horrifying.

"The water level is rising... And I'm stuck here doing some stupid Magic test! Come on!" Riku forced himself to calm down, both his body and heart. Any second now, the water would flood even the bell tower and ultimately killing him. He got only one shot left.

He took a deep breath and yelled, "Fire Thunder Blizzard!"

A strong Light gleamed as Riku covered his eyes from its blinding flare. Without a second thought, he leaped right through the doorway, the doorway he had entered the second time in his life.

The Door To Light.
