SSFW II - Eighth Round - "Floating City"

Remember the World That Never Was. The nobodies and I thought we'd rebuild it, this time we made it better. Equipped it with better weapons, made it more flexible to the environment and even added some Self-Destruct methods.

Your task, if you wish to survive at this point is to activate one of the three switches that will open a portal to get you out of the exploding city. Should you choose to open the portal before Tuesday, you will be sucked into a Black Hole which will eat you.

I'm pleased to inform you that your are the last three from each teams, meaning you have 2 teammates to help escape, should you ignore them, I will be forced to kill them off, if you know what I mean.

Hmm...what else to cover. You shall not destroy any part of my glorious City, if you scratch the buildings they will scratch back. There are lasers at every turn and nobodies (that are destroyable) at every street.

(OOC: Sometimes I hate event quests.....lol....and what time is Tusday in Aus, wherevere you are.....(this is so I don't get enliminated.... )
Naruto came flying out of the portal at a great speed, he chanlled his chrakra to his feet and manged to land on as buliding, this normaly would have been ok. Except that the buliding grew hands and grabbed him. "What the heck!!!" Naruto asked himself as he quickly charged up a raszgan and burned the hands so he could jump of the wall. (He was back in his normal form.)

Looking around he couldn't see Riku anyware, meaning he had apeared somewhere else. 'Well nothing for it, but to find my way out of here." Naruto said to himself. "Oh, and don't touch the walls." He added laughting. He started to explore the city, and soon found that he was quite high up.

Looking over the edge the of buliding he saw that he had spawned in the center, looking over he thought he saw something. Jumping out of the buliding through the window (which was open) he landed in the middle of the city. Just in time, because the buliding had just tired to eat him.

Looking at the thing in the middle, he saw it was a self desturct timer, which spoke as he looked at it. "City, to self desturct in 3 days." 'Oh no!!!" Naruto said as he looked at the timer. "I got to find a portal and fast!" He said dashing down a side street.

It was just like before, but instead of falling from the sky, he merely walked out of the gateway and into a new realm.

Riku took in the view around him as he breathed in some fresh air. For a few minutes, Riku cannot understand what was around him. Strange, he wondered, I'm on ground alright and so is this city, castle or some sort, so why am I on the sky as well?

He gasped. it was a floating city! Realization hit him like tonnes of brick, but he was much more tougher than that. In fact, he was starting to feel a sense of numbness in his heart. He has been through so many adventures, so many worlds, so many dangers that everything seemed to dim.

"Well, all except for Destiny Island, Sora, Kairi, King Mickey, and everyone else that I care for." He chuckled at his own statement. However, things doesn't look good. It was never good. Hiding himself between corners, he has just seen a few Nobodies passed by without noticing.

He was surprised that they has not sensed the mad thumping of his heart against his chest, but then again Nobodies aren't the brightest creature ever alive. he sat there, staring bleakly at the beautiful sky that rivalled heaven.

"Why am I fighting?"

That was the question he truly wanted to ask.

A familiar sense of power hit him as he stood upright. Walking out, he could see Naruto at the edge of the street. A smile came to his face. He talked to himself, "My savior alright, but still,"

The Way To Dawn flashed to his palm.

My enemy.

[Yellow Flash]

Naruto was running down an ally when he spotted Riku. "You!!!" He said loudly "I was wondering where you had got to." He then spotted the blade in Riku's hand. "Up for a fight I see. Well there is something you need to know first and that's that the city is going to explode in 3 days and if you don't find a portal before then....I guess you die." Naruto smiled, not looking worried at all. "Just thought you should know that, before we fight." He smiled again taking out his trench knifes. "Oh, also the bulidings bite is actually worst then its bark!" Laughting he ran towards Riku with his trench blades in front of him.

[Xuan]

Explode? Bark? Bite? Riku was bewildered by this sudden barrage of information, but there was no time to contemplate. With a quick dash he twirled towards the side of his enemy and gave Naruto the cold stare. In a split second, Soul Eater flashed to his left palm and stabbed towards the charging enemy, The Way To Dawn glowing with magic.

((Guess a magic... But guess wrongly, and you pay))

Bastila came falling violently out of nowhere as the waves of water had pushed her through the portal, yet she landed smoothly on her feet. Looking around she observed this new challenge. This was more familiar.
A highly technological city, with grand design and tall buildings. This made it look no less threatening in her eyes though.

She took one step forward, and immediately a barrage of lasers broke out from all around. Pitiful... Bastila had her lightsaber out in no time, and like a dancing whirlwind she deflected one after the other, evading some. The blast that struck her lightsaber was deflected back and destroyed the machines that shot them, and before long, the sound of erupting lasers faded completely.

Putting away her lightsaber she walked down the street she had arrived in, expecting trouble.

The last thing sora remembered was walking through atlantis, looking for a way out. He had finally defeated the power of darkness within him, or so he thought. There was a blinding light that stopped him from moving, s he had to cover his eyes. Then the next thing that happened was that he woke up in another city. But this wasn't any ordinary city. It was floating in the sky, high above the ground. It somehow looked like the world that never was, meaning that this wasn't going to be an easy round to win. The teams have come down to their final 3 members each, meaning there were nine members total. The compeptition was coming down to the wire and sora had to do whatever it took to win this competiton, without one of his friends. Dart was eliminated last round, and even though sor hasn't talked to him since the fourth round, he was still sad about it. "This one's for you, Dart", said sora, as he walked into the big floating city. He had to find Riku and Axl if he wanted any chance of saving them. They had to find 1 of 3 swithes around the city and activate them to open a portal. This is where teamwork is really gonna come into play, because we can't ignore our teammates at this point.

Sora wondered to himself how Dart was doing in the last few rounds he was in. He was always the quiet one, even when they first met. Sora remembered what it was like back at the labryinth of chaos, when they first met. How dart was laying in the dark mumbling about something. Sora walked over to him and he saw that he was hurt, so he used curaga to revive him. Ever since then, they've had eachothers backs through everything. But now, it was to late. Dart is gone, and the only ones sora had left were Riku and Axl. "I'll find you guys, and then, we'll win this for Dart", sora said to himself.

All of a sudden, there were these wierd creatures that popped around a corner. They were wiggling around everywhere and had a symbol on their head that looked almost exactly like the heartless symbol. But it wasn't heartless, they were nobodies. "Oh no!", said sora. He remembered the last time he tried to fight an enemy, where his whole hand was surrounded by a metal block, ad n=made his hand unusable for that whole round. But these enemys were different. They weren't as powerful as the last ones were, and Xehanort had already said that these nobodies, were indeed killable. "Now you're about to get a taste of the keyblade", said sora.

One of the nobodies tried to sneak up on sora and strike him from behind. Sora used a reaction command and reversed the attack, and made the Dusk completely clueless. Now sora was behind him, and let out a huge slash from his keyblade. The nobodie was destroyed, and there was no metal block surrounding any body part of sora's. "Ok, that's more like it", said sora. The Dusks were pouring in the battlefield one by one, there were to much for sora to handle in his regular form. Sora tried to think, "I could burn the heck out of them in final form, or I could shoot them in wisdom form." But then something else came to sora's mind. There was still one form he hasn't used this whole competiton. Sora jumped back and saw that his drive guage was high enough. "Give me strength!", screamed sora. Sora turned himself into Limit Form. It was a form that had him dressed in the clothes he had from his first journey, and let him use some of his abilities from his first journey as well. "Take this!", said sora. Sora unleashed a devastating sonic blade attack, slash a big number of noboies one by one sending them into oblivion. There were still to many left, sora used strike raid, where he threw his keyblade while slashing a number of nobodies one by one. "Not to many left now", said sora. There were only a few more nobodies left, these were ones that he could take out with out magic. Sora ran up and unleashed a series of combos on the enemies, and they were finally destroyed.

Sora was completely warn out. He hasn't fought like that this whole competiton. "I should........take.......a break", said sora as he tried to breath. But there was no time to take a break. He had to keep moving so he could find Riku and Axl, and so he did. "Round Eight............share the bate"

[Yellow Flash]

Naruto easily defelcted the Soul Eater with his trench knifes, and was coming around for a counter attack, when suddenly his whole right side was frosen by Riku's BLIZZARD attack. Naruto couldn't control himself as he went smashing into a buliding, he barely had time to push himself away from it, before it sprouted teath and tired to eat him.

"That's what I mean by bite!" Naruto yelled transforming into the two tailed fox to brake the ice around him. "And what I mean by explode is, that the city is going to explode and we are all going to die, unless we find a portal and get the heck out of here." Naruto said "So do you want to team up....or FIGHT!!!"

[Roxas 1994]

The same numbing sensation started to crawl into the computerized system of the Hunter once again. But this time, the divine light that awakened him from his eternal hibernation was not active. His mind, his eyes, was forced to stay dull and dark. The eternal darkness, the feelings of depression and despair, was slowly eating away at his energetic soul. The Reploid could not feel any of his emotions; not even the warmth happiness created. His slumber, his undeniable slumber, would not loosen its tight grip around Axl's heart. His heart felt the same everlasting feeling of being hollow. Now, more then ever, his lust for the brilliant array if a light was at its strongest.

At this time, the overconfident warrior would have made a cocky remark, but no words dared to escape his sealed lips, not even in dieing system. His features, his arms, his legs, felt cold to every bolt that conjoined his parts. This cold feeling tore away at his inner being, destroying his heart. His soul felt like it was dwindling away, creating a bigger void in his empty heart. Still, the lust for the brilliant lights to radiate into his weary, metallic eyes was still acting in his cold mind, but even wishes knocked his soul unconscious. The darkness showed no mercy to his being. Soon, after the long process, he would no longer be himself. And that fate was not something his heart longed for.

“Is that the best you’ve got, kid?” A voice, a voice much different then the young warrior’s, echoed throughout Axl’s mind. “I’m disappointed in you, Axl. Are you going to give up, just like that?”

“Zero?”

“What about your oath for peace?” Another voice, a hint of gentleness in his stern speech, stated. “I thought you wouldn’t stop until you achieved peace. Are you just going to stop here?”

“X?”

A multitude of different voices echoed throughout the darkness that dwelled inside the Reploid mind, and he knew exactly who the two voices were. His friends were taunting him, but the Hunter knew they had a good reason to let those life changing words escape their wisdom. And now, a new sensation started to erupt from the darkness that was dwelling inside Axl’s heart: friendship. And now, more then ever, the power of friendship gave the boy a new tremendous power.

Friendship kept the Hunter going for so long, making him advanced to each new brawl. For so long, the grounds of friendship rose into his gaze. Friendship had finally been realized by the fragile warrior, and the power was now known. The magnificent power was even enough to fill the empty abyss that was slumbering in his heart, and it seemed to cast away the darkness that was dwelling inside his being. The numbing sensation could not help but dwindling in strength until nothingness took its place.


“No, I won’t stop fighting,” Axl mumbled as radiant light came into his existence. “I won’t stop fighting! I won’t stop until I can’t fight anymore!”

With his finale words escaping into the small breeze that passed his presence, the metallic, emerald green plated eyes opened into the divine light. His destined path had not ceased, meaning his determination would not die!

Sora walked around the corner of the city, this time there weren't any nobodies. He was completely warn out from the last fight he was in, but he knew that there wasn't any room for breaks, anymore. The only way to stay alive was t find his teammates, but they were still no where to be fund. "Knowing Riku, he's probably fighting someone", sora said to himself. Riku was the first one he wanted to find. Him and Axl never really got off to a good start, and he probably didn't care one way or another. But one thing sora really wanted to know was, has the darkness, really left his heart for good? Within every heart, there is darkness, that's what makes us human. But sora was different. It seemed he either had no darkness, or was full darkness. He was either the good guy, or the bad guy. Fighting off the darkness has not been an easy thig for him to do, but if he's lucky, he won't see the darknes take him over anymore. He tried focusing more on finding his teammates then anything else, because if the darkness did try to take over, he knew how to beat it. But what about the flashbacks? The last flashback he had that was with Terra and Xehanort, was never finished. Perhaps, it was something that he will never know. It'll just be another unsolved mystery. But sora was still detirmined to get some answers from Xehanort.

Suddenly, he heard a noise, coming from not so far away. Sora ran around another corner, and saw two people. It was that one boy Naruto, who was looking for a fight. Sora was more than happy to give him one, now that he's ready for a darkness free fight. But than he saw one other persn. "Riku", said sora. Riku was fighting Naruto, sending blizzard attacks at him. But it seemed like it was no use. Naruto was blocking his attacks, and it looked he was about to finish him off. On top of that, Nauto turned into two tailed fox, and was even more powerful. Sora couldn't tell whether Naruto was trying to reason with him or fight him, but sora didn't take any chances. "Hey Naruto, you got beef wth him? You're gonna have to go through me first", said sora. Sora got into a battle position and was ready to take on Naruto. "So what'll it be?"

[Yellow Flash]

Naruto was waiting patiently for Riku's answer when he saw someone stumble down the street in behind Riku. "Isn't that SORA!" Naruto excalimed at Riku. Looking at the young boy stumbling down the street. He quickly ran over to him. "Are you ok?" Naruto asked, looking back at Riku, hoping he wouldn't attack now

"Huh?", said sora. He was confused about why Naruto was asking Riku if he was ok. Naruto wasn't on team sony, and has been an enemy the entire competiton. But why the sudden change of heart? Maybe Naruto just wanted to get out of the city as safe as possible, and fast. But sora didn't want to take any chances, so he didn't let his guard down. "What are you doing with Riku?", sora asked Naruto. Sora noticed that naruto had trench knifes ready incase sora attacked. Sora started to think, if he wanted to stay in the competiton, he couldn't have naruto walking around with them, because he didn't trust him. Sora's keyblade shined in the sunlight, ready for a fight. Sora looked back up at Naruto, and said, "If you wanna come with us.......... then you're gonna have to earn it." It was very clear now, that sora wanted to fight naruto, even if Naruto didn't. Sora still had enough drive points left to turn into another form. So sora jumped back, and said, "Gt ready for this, Naruto. It ends hear." Sora got ready to transform, and he did. "Give me strength!", screamed sora. He had turned back into limit form.

Sora ran around Naruto to try and make him dizzy, then he came in for an attack. "Let's see if you can hande this one", said sora. Sora topped running and came in for an attack. He used Ars Accuram on Naruto, unleashing a devastating combo. He tried to keep a close eye on those trench knifes, incase Naruto tried to pull a fast move that sora won't like. He also tried to keep a close eye on Riku, as well, who was just sitting in the same spot that he hasn't moved from. Sora finished his attack on Naruto, and he waited to see his next move.

Kameo touched ground on the cold metal surface and looked up at the clouds expanding in the distance. She took a step forward into the expanse of buildings and was cut off by a shot of some weird energy. She dodged it barely and swept back, her leg extending to support herself. Kameo sighed, not a very friendly city. She took another step forward and watched as a laser shot forward at her again, she flipped to avoid it and kept moving. This city had to have some portal in it, and she was going to find it.

Using her wings now she blasted through the city quickly and quietly. Hopefully she could get through this place without any more scares. She breathed heavily in the air and let the chill run down her spine. She needed to find someone, anyone who could help her heal. Perhaps one of her teammates, which she had not seen a lot of in this twisted game. She would have to have help if she wanted to survive anything up to this point. As she came landing on the ground she looked back at the smoking ground where lasers had fired and she had avoided them.

"Is anyone here?" She called looking up at the massive buildings ahead of her.

Cecil fell out of the spinning portal, spiraling towards the ground fast. Hitting it hard, he groaned as he tried getting up. The sound of something being shot made him fall backwards, looking above at a red hot beam of some sort that sped by him. Getting on all fours, he jumped to his feet, running away from where the laser came. The buildings that surrounded him were all made of metal, stone didn't seem to have place here. The metallic smell in the air was accompanied by the feel of darkness, and... Nothing. Was that even a feeling? Nothing?

It seemed to be, because that was what Cecil sensed. The city was filled with a aura that didn't have a presence. He could feel darkness, but then simply empty spaces that didn't seem to even be there. Yet he saw them there. White things that crawled around, ignoring him but seeming like they followed him.

As he kept running by, he soon realized that he didn't hear any more laser's being shot. Slowing down, he looked around, feeling now a handful of powers that were recognizable. Walking with heavy footsteps, he made his way straight towards some of these other Auras. He was up for a fight.

Naruto suddenly had to block all of the attacks Sora had sent at him, he held up his trench knifes, deflecting every attack with his better speed. But it seemed that Sora had gotten stronger, and had different clothes on. After that combo, Sora stepped back and got ready to see what Naruto was about to do.

"SO you want a fight?" Naruto asked "I quess, you don't competly trust me? Well ok then." Naruto put away his trench knifes and extented his charkra as arms, straight at Sora, "Lets see if you like the heat!" He said.

Once again, another vertiginous feeling came over the young MegaMan as he was sent swirling through the vortex to another world. His head was boggled and aching. So many strange images passed through his sights as he continued to soar through the space-time continuum and to the next world. He felt sick... As if he were going to vomit any minute now. He had hoped that the teleportation to another location would be instant. Or, in the least, he could have more time to prepare for it. How the other contestants managed to get through this place without retching was beyond him. As his body was sent through the spectrm, his golden hair flowed in that direction. It wasn't so much that the gamut itself confused him, causing Vent's headaches. It was mostly just the high-velocity speeds he was going as he was being sent through. Even in his Model PX form, he wasn't used to such speeds. And even after so long into this war, he still could not seem to get over it. Only a few seconds had passed, but to Vent, it seemed like hours. In the distance was a faint light shining dimly, just barely showing the world ahead. Vent neared it and...

...His body slammed against the concrete ground underneath him. His crimson metallic armor from Model OX collided with the ground, and Vent's soft, tender face was exposed to the pain it caused. Vent quickly lifted himself up, tightly holding onto his nose with his right hand as he tried to sojourn the flow of blood which was bound to leak from his nostril. His vision was crowded by many large buildings looming across from him. Another city, it seemed. Vent sighed. Had he been back in the city that he was in during the last round? Had the vortex been tampered with? Vent quickly turned his body 180 degrees, looking behind him. In his sight was a ledge. There didn't seem to be any streets or buildings in that direction. He took a deep sigh, curious as to where he had been. He took one step forward with his right foot, then another with his left, then one last step with his right. Vent's eyes lit up. He was in another location. That much was for certain. His jaw dropped as he noticed the clouds hovering below him. Below? He had been in none other than a floating city. The Floating City.

"W...What is this place...?" Vent asked himself. "So bizarre... I must be really high up, since I can see the clouds below this place." He backed away slowly. There were still enemie afoot, and there was no telling if he'd be able to get back up to the city if he had been somehow sent plummeting down to another city below. "These places that we're being sent to... They just keep getting more and more unusual..." Vent took a deep breath as he turned around and began to walk away from the edge of the drifting metropolitan.

Kameo slammed down as soon as she saw the man in front of her. She had never seen him before, so he couldn't be a friend. She paced in front of him and examined him. "What is your name?" She asked. Knowing she couldn't fight much longer while sustaining the Darkness growing inside her she still wanted to try it out. Maybe if she could transform she could unleash it and destroy everything in her path. The problem remained to be, how would she become herself again.

[VenFan]

A rough, threatening, evil voice soon came about in Vent's ear. The young MegaMan made a quiet gasping noise after hearing her voice, unaware that there was someone near his presence. The young boy slowly turned his neck, facing the young fairy woman in the form of what seemed to be a monster of sorts. His eyes widened immediately as he caught of the female. He tightened his hands together as they made a strong, firm pair of fists. Who was this monster? How did he not sense this... thing... nearby? He gave the woman a menacing, hostile glare.

"My name... is Vent," the young boy said. "Who wants to know? Who are you, exactly?" the MegaMan asked, keeping his guard up. As far as he knew, his creature was just an unfamiliar monster. He knew not that this was the same woman who he'd helped back in Round One. "Tell me your name. Now!" Vent ordered the woman, becoming impatient. "I don't want to have to make you talk."

"I am Kameo: Master of the Elements" she said, she looked down at him, he was shaking in his shoes and she didn't know why. Using a little bit of her power she sealed off the dark power once again. It was breaking through faster and faster and she needed to do something, to get the WotNot book back. Sighing she fell to her knees there in front of him. Scraping her wounds against the floor she let the blood run out of her hands and down her arms. She stuck them forward and watched as the blood itself turned into her weapon. She let it whip around towards him, she was aiming to capture him hopefully drain whatever lifeforce he had and use it to restore her powers. "Are you looking to play a little game boy?"

[VenFan]

A small twinkle formed in Vent's right eye after hearing the woman her first sentence. Did she just say Kameo? Why was Vent so familiar with that name? He never recalled seeing this creature before, but the name sounded very familiar. He examined the creature, trying to recall if he had ever seen this before. Sadly, he could not seem to remember. Where had he heard the name Kameo before? Vent's memory began to rewind back to the moment he was sent to the first round of this competition. He could remember the name of the world Round One was held at-- Labyrinth of Chaos. He could recall fighting Roxas, and having to team up with him at one point after their battle. He remembered seeing a young winged woman struggling against him during their fight. Vent gasped loudly. It was all coming back to him now. Kameo, the woman he had teamed up with to fight Roxas at one point.

"Kameo! I suddenly remember that name!" Vent exclaimed. He studied the woman's current shape. "Hmm... I'm guessing this is one of your varying forms, am I correct?" The young MegaMan let out a chuckle. In mere seconds, his carefree expression immediately reverted to a cautious one. "Wait... We were originally enemies of different teams back in Round One... meaning that... you're not an ally. And since you're not an ally... I'm going to have to fight you..." Vent sighed. But can I really fight someone of her power? It looks like it can swallow me whole...! The young boy smirked. "Sure, I'll play your little game. Bring it!"

A blade of darkness shot down inbetween the two fighters, dissapearing as it ran out of fuel. Cecil stepped forward, staring at Kameo with nothing but pure hate. His sword glistened with darkness, his aura less prominent than it was before, but still there.
"Your time to die is here," he said, completely ignoring the other. He felt a tie to the man somehow, but he refused to care, because in truth he didn't care at all. No one was his friend.

She smiled, letting her blood flow into the air and around him as if trying to weave a web. The blood from her own veins the only weapon she could muster at the moment would have to suffice. She needed a healer and she needed one fast. She spun in place weaving a blood web around him still. The bright side of using her own blood was it required far less Elemental power. She let it exploded from her veins and then tore a bit of clothing off and wrapped it around her hands.

Suddenly a blade of darkness cut her stream of blood and sent it back flying behind her.

"You again?" She asked Spinning to see the Dark Paladin standing in front of her. "Why do you insist on killing me? Well if you you are going to kill me my colleague will protect me" she laughed and appeared behind Vent tapping him on the shoulder.

Cecil watched his enemy as she hid behind the man that he had ignored. He though in silence at what this could mean. He would... Protect her? That meant he was simply in the way. He would have to destroy him, if he tried. He had two enemies that he would do anything to kill.

This man meant nothing to him, so he had no problem killing him as well. His blade sparked as he grinned wide, even though no one could see that beyond his helmet. "I need no real reason, but mark my words, you will die by my hands, weakling. The man will die too, if you insist."

A soft feeling soon came across Vent's shoulder. The young boy looked down to see a small finger tapping his shoulder. As he turned his head, he could see that it was Kameo. Did she possibly want Vent to fight alongside her? Now Vent was completely filled with befuddlement. Turning his body around to face the young fairy woman, he gave her a perplexed look.

"Wait one minute!" Vent exclaimed. "You honestly want me to fight alongside you to battle this guy!?" Vent looked behind him to get a good look at the man covered in armor. He looked familiar. He could only recall seeing him a few times, but either way, he felt that the two were somehow linked together. Vent could recall the two males being teammates. Did Kameo want them to turn against one another? And if so, why? Or did she honestly feel she needed help from Vent, of all people? "Don't get me wrong, Kameo, I really do appreciate the offer, but... he's kind of my teammate. I can't fight against my own teammate. It'd just be wrong! And besides, just a few seconds ago, we were talking about how we'd play our little... ahem... 'game.'" Vent turned around once more to get one last look at the Dark Knight. The look in his eyes... They were filled with hatred... A lust for killing. Something gave Vent the feeling that this new, evil man wouldn't want help from him. Vent groaned, then looked back at Kameo. "Fine. I'll fight with you, but only until he snaps back to his senses. Then, you're finished!" Vent turned his head, giving Cecil a loathing stare. He thrusted his right arm out as a luminous bright light began to form around it. Suddenly, as the light began to leave his arm, a large blade appeared in his palm. It was none other than his OX-Saber, sharp and ready for battle. Vent quickly got into his fighting stance, ready for a nice scuffle. The irony amazed him, but he soon got over it. "Alright, Kameo, I'm ready. How about you?"

Naruto spun around and looked behind him, he saw the fairy he saw before fighting two people. "I'll deal with you latter" Naruto said to Sora, as he ran towards the fairy, coming up next to her he said. "Hi, name's Naruto, I'm on your team and do you need any help fighting them guys?" Naruto said as he looked strangely at Vent.

"Oh I'm not fighting" smiled Kameo jumping into the air and disappearing behind a building. "Good luck though Kiddo."

And with that she was gone, once again escaping death just barely.

Cecil watched her dissapear without moving, for he knew he wouldn't catch her. His head hung down then, as he thought of what just happened.
"You... Let her get away," Cecil stated, looking at him now with a shaking tone in his voice.
He stepped forward, gripping his sword tight. Darkness built up inside of him, energizing almost. If darkness could become bright, that was what it was doing now. It became even stronger around his black sword, creating a force that made him laugh with dark glee.
"You shall die now."

[Yellow Flash]

"You...." Naruto's sentence endend in a lot of foul and rude words turning the air blue. He then looked at Vent. "Well, since my no good dirty rotten team mate left me! Would you like me to help you fight this guy." Here Naruto pointed at the Dark Knight "I think he wants to kill you."

Bastila was walking aimlessly around the large City. Every now and then a few lasers turned up, but it was nothing big. Suddenly she felt a disturbance in the force, something big was happening. She felt for it and found numerous large energies pretty close to her. One she recognized as that loud boy, Naruto. Damn...
Another was also familiar, a teammate she knew, so she would probably not get in Bastila's way... Then there was many unfamiliar ones. Except one.

The moment she felt it she knew who it was. And what had happened to him.
So he must have had some relations to the dark side before too... Like me.
She recognized the initial feel, but he was darker. Much darker.

"Guess I have something to finish!"
She started down an alleyway, heading straight for the cluster of people. She noticed that the woman... or whatever she was, had ran off. Now I know she won't get in my way. Corner by corner she closed in the distance between Bastila and her prey. Nothing came in her way. Nothing CAN come in my way.
She would finish the job she already thought done, and she would do it properly this time. The last corner was passed, and she stood staring right towards the people.

They hadn't started fighting yet. She cloaked herself with the force, and hid herself in the shadows. That means I wait...
She sat perfectly still, dreaming of the bloodshed that was waiting for her.

The BioMetal-wielding MegaMan grew a worried look upon his face. What was he getting himself into? Could he really fight this big, powerful, evil Dark Knight by himself? He had no worries at first, for he had hoped that Kameo would assist him in the battle. Unfortunately, she had escaped whilst she still had the opportunity. Now Vent was faced with two choices-- to either escape with his life and save himself the risk of being defeated by his own teammate or stand his ground and muster up the bravery to battle Cecil. Would he back down or would he prove his courage? Vent smirked, holding his OX-Saber firm as the tip of the blade pointed towards the Dark Knight, Cecil. Though Vent didn't want to have to battle against his own teammate, he'd never backed down from a challenge such as this before, and there wasn't a chance in the world that he'd start now. He widened his stance, then grew a confident expression, his eyes slowly shifting down to the young, blonde-haired shinobi.

"I thank you for your interest in assisting me, but it won't be nessecary," Vent calmly stated. "If he wants a fight with the ultimate MegaMan, then the ultimate MegaMan will give him just that-- a fight, and an epic one, at that!" His eyes then shifted back to Cecil. "I'll be sure to knock some sense into you, Cecil! I'll make you remember that I'm your teammate! I'll brighten up the darkness within your soul with my light!!"

And with that, the young MegaMan rushed forward, the legendary fight between the two teammates offically beginning.

"I respect that" Naruto said looking at Vent, "and I'll be here watching, if you need any help" Naruto then jumped back a few paces to where Bastila was, almost bumping into her. "You can come out now Bastila" He said to the wall. "I can sense you" Naruto then reached out towards the wall. "So....you want to work togther?" Naruto asked

Bastila stared angrily at the boy, then nearly growled at him.
"I want you to get out of here so HE- she pointed towards Cecil -doesn't see me..."
She stared away from Naruto and over to Cecil.
"He is mine... And you had better not get in my way."
She then stared at the other warrior ahead, the one she believed to be the teammate of Cecil. Why are they fighting?

She didn't know. Nor did she care, as long as they kept each other busy. She then looked back at Naruto, deciding he could be of some use anyways.
"Tell you what. When I attack, feel free to play with the boy who has the strange clothes."

Naruto suddenly had to block all of the attacks Sora had sent at him, he held up his trench knifes, deflecting every attack with his better speed. But it seemed that Sora had gotten stronger, and had different clothes on. After that combo, Sora stepped back and got ready to see what Naruto was about to do.

"SO you want a fight?" Naruto asked "I quess, you don't competly trust me? Well ok then." Naruto put away his trench knifes and extented his charkra as arms, straight at Sora, "Lets see if you like the heat!" He said.

(OOC: SOrry bout that had to o something.)

Sora was amazed at how Nauto deflected every one of his attacks frm Ars Acuurum. It seems like he had underestimated this young ninja, but still, it was nothing he couldn't handle. Naruto had put away his trench knifes after blocking every attack from sora. Suddenely, he saw his arms coming right at sora, about to hit him. He had no time to react, and naruto's attack nailed him right in his face. Sora flew back from the hit, and fell hard to the ground. He felt a warn drip of his own blood coming out of his mouth. It seemed that the young ninja had also gotten a lot stronger since they last ecountered eachother. Sora's drive guage had only a little bit of time left, so he had to get one attack in before it ran out. He tried t think of what attack would be best. "Ars Accurum didn't work, maybe....... yes", said sora. Sora jumped back and used his greatest attack, Ragnorok. It was almost like Ars Accurum, except the combos were stronger and little beams of energy shot out of his keyblade at the end of the attack. "Lets see you block that", said sora.

Laughing, Cecil watched his new enemy start to rush towards him, acting as if he could take the Dark Knight. "Impossible, young man. You have no chance of defeating me."

Cecil ran forward with half speeed, his sword still filled with his power. It was easy to control, yet at the same time it resisted him. His eyes grew wider as he forced his Darkness forward, bringing his sword to a complete and powerful swing forward, letting it cut through the wind and hopefully his enemy.

Riku surveyed those people around him as he did his best to remain 'invisible'. It would seemed that all the Players are gathering around here, Riku thought to himself.

He stared at a distant corner and saw his best friend, Sora. As he slowly moved towards Sora, gesturing at him to get his attention, he couldn't help but notice the change in Cecil. Once upon a time he wasn't a Dark Knight. In fact, if he remembered correctly, he said that he served the Light.

So what exactly had happened to him?

Riku decided that he didn't want to know. He'll team up with Sora before fighting anyone of them, unless it became necessary.

((Okay, anyone fight me.))

Naruto was surpised by Bastila's outrage. "I guess I have no team members then!" Naruto said, as he turned around and saw Sora, he ran over and punched him in the mouth with his charkra arm (OOC: you said I did) He then saw Sora getting up and was about to use another attack. Naruto was going to let it hit him to trick Sora. He then was going to counter while Sora thought he had won.

Vent only stared as the large Knight began to swing his hefty blade towards him. The large weapon seemed to whistle as it glided through the air, ready to cleave the young boy in two. Vent gaped. He quickly took action as he navigated his OX-Saber up a bit, the two blades colliding and making a loud clanging noise. The two blades struggled to overpower the other, but in the end, only one would come out on top. Vent tightened his muscles, trying to keep a firm stance as he attempted to drive Cecil's blade back to him. The Dark Knight, however, overpowered him physically, and therefore could send a more powerful swing of a blade towards Vent. The young boy struggled, still trying to overpower Vent. But to no avail. The devastating blow soon became to powerful for Vent to handle, and the moment his muscles loosened, he was knocked back with incredible force. As he was sent flying back, his grip on his OX-Saber began to slacken, and the weapon soon fell from his palm. The boy fell to the ground with a loud thump.

"Ugh... This man... He's powerful... No doubt about it," Vent said weakly, slowly lifting himself up from the ground. "Even in my Model OX form... he still overpowers me... No... I can't give up." Vent finally lifted himself back to his feet, regaining his stance. "I won't give up!" He bent his knees down, grabbing his OX-Saber which had been on the ground with his right hand. He quickly thrusted out his left arm as the same light that had covered his right arm before began to surround his left. As the light began to dim, a small, powerful cannon formed around his arm. It was his OX-Buster. "Take this!" Vent exclaimed, attempting to attack the Knight from afar.

Sora looked over to seee Riku, and he was ok. Sora has not seen Riku since round six, and a lot has happened since then. Sora had a lot to tell him about his battle with Vent and how the darkness was released from sora's heart for good, hopefully. Sora looked around to see that all of the characters and participents are all in the same area, but why? The objective for the round wasn't to fight, but to find a way out. In the past rounds, it was hard to find an area where there wasn't fight going on, but now, it's all about survival. Sora looked back over to Riku, an he knew exactly what they had to do. But not yet. Naruto wasn't far behind, and sora still had a score to settle with the young ninja. But then again, there wasn't anyone who wasn't far behind, besides Axl. The one person they needed most, wasn't there. "Riku, we need to find Axl", said sora.

Sora also had a feeling that Riku hadn't heard about what happened to Dart yet, either. Dart, the one who has been there this whole competiton, and the first person sora met inthe compettion, was gone, eliminated, and sent and sent back to his original game. Sora also realized, if he wanted any chance of winning this competiton, than he would have to say goodbye to Riku as well. It won't be easy, but it will happen. But sora didn't want to think about that, not yet. There's still a long way to go in this round, and the competiton. Until then, Sora ad Riku, will fight together. "You ready, Riku?"

Upon opening his weary eyes, a vibrate light radiated into his eyes, slightly blinding him. His body was laid across the cold, metal ground, and the divine sky above his existence seemed to be only a grasp away. Even in his animated dreams, he had never thought he himself would be so close to the brilliant void above. The soft, white objects from above looked so inviting. In Axl’s mind, the holy clouds from above glowed with a peaceful radiance. The overwhelming stench of the same fowl crimson liquid never stained the divine beauty of the void above.

“I better get going,” Axl spoke, his own words echoed through his mind. “I wonder what I have to do this time.”

With his mind pondering his small question, the metallic feet of the warrior rose into the air, and with a mere thought, the boy used his own weight to glide his body across the path ahead. His enhanced reflexes surely helped with this method, because even with his bulky armor, the Hunter landed perfectly on his feet. His warrior instincts aided him in maneuvers that were almost out of his grip, which always helped his fighting skills.

When his feet collided with the hard metal below his presence, a loud, dull sound echoed through his small location. A hint of regret slowly passed its way through the harvest of emotions that was dwelling inside his soul, but that could not be helped at that point. He had to keep going, no matter how many mistakes he had created on the brave journey that awaited him.

As the Reploid walked, a single hand was tightly grasping onto the shining, hard metal of his trusty pistol that was located on his side. A divine beam of plasma was also forming in the inner core of the dangerous weapon. The brilliant beam shined brightly, making the sunlight intertwine with the energy itself. In Axl’s point of view, the radiate energy gave a small single that it was ready to fire at any existence that dared to cross his destine path.

Nartuo looked at the conversation between Sora and Riku. "Hey, guys, it looks like all my team mates have abondened me and I'm the only one with any honor." Naruto looked miffed as he said this. "Anyway the point of this round is to find the portals and then get the heck out of here, so do you want to work together? Cause my team members don't"

"Anytime, Sora. Let's do it." Riku raised his Keyblades as he stared at Naruto. With a quick swipe of his Keyblade, he let loose a devastating roar of Wind towards Naruto. He knew it would tie him down long enough for the both of them to get near and land some heavy pounding.

"LIGHT!" With a quick run, Riku launched himself into mid air as he crashed down on Naruto, a powerful vertical Limit ready to slam him into oblivion.

Cecil saw the cannon coming when it was to late. The shield he produced blocked the main blow, but it broke through easily, shattering his defense. The attack slammed into him hard, driving him down to the ground and on his back. Getting up as quickly as he could, he slowly wobbled to his knees, lifting his head up slowly to stare at his enemy.

Then he laughed, and didn't stop laughing even when he ran out of breath, though he soon coughed up blood, spitting it between the slits in his helmet. "Such feeble attacks! They won't finish me," Cecil said with confidence, lifting up his sword.

Darkness winked at him from inside the blade, controlling his movements for a split second as he swung his Dark Sword in a horizontal slash. Out of the sword came a ferocious blast, a full, destructive beam of darkness. His lips gently formed the words that could only be the name of this beautiful and deadly attack. "Omega..."

"Anytime, Sora. Let's do it." Riku raised his Keyblades as he stared at Naruto. With a quick swipe of his Keyblade, he let loose a devastating roar of Wind towards Naruto. He knew it would tie him down long enough for the both of them to get near and land some heavy pounding.

Naruto said breathing heavily.

"Peace?" Riku stared incredulously at Naruto. That was probably the funniest thing ever he has heard from him, "Of course we want peace! None of us here ever wanted to come to this competition and fight like gladiators on drugs! But the thing is... We don't have a choice."

"I was invited to this competition. Do you think that I ever wanted to compete again, after the first War I was in? But I knew that even if I declined, I would still be here, still fight, and still struggle to live through every single day." His voice dropped to a whisper, the same hollow resonation he's feeling in his heart, "I want to go home."

That is the truth that he has kept for too long, far too long. And now, it came out like the sun rises from beneath the mountain.

What would I do, if that means going back to Destiny Island again?

Riku's voice grew strong once again, his determination burning stronger than ever, "I will go home. I will fight on, if that's what it takes. I'm not giving up right here, right now!" He allowed a smile on his face before it turned serious, "You're a good guy, truly. But you do understand the stakes we're playing at."

Riku raised his Keyblades once again for the ineviatable howling of blades before sliding forwards, ready to execute another devastating Limit upon his opponent.

"I'm sorry."

Vent was now curious as to what his armored teammate could be planning to do and what he meant by Omega. By Omega, was he possibly referring to the massive Reploid created during the ending period of the Elf War? Suddenly, noticing the immensely huge attack that had been unleased from his Cecil's blade, Vent did not want to stop to think about it. He quickly took action immediately after noticing the attack. He aimed carefully, ready to shoot large blasts from his OX-Buster, hoping that it would be able to stop the large, dark attack. One shot quickly fired from his OX-Buster. A second shot soon erupted from the weapon. A third. Then a fourth. And finally, a fifth. All five attacks neared the enormous blast until finally, each one made contact with it. However, they almost instantly disappeared upon contact. The discharge of darkness seemed to have completely consumed each of them. Vent gasped. If he was hit with this, most likely, he would be destroyed. No... he couldn't afford it. He couldn't be defeated... Not so easily.

"You're not the only one with ultra-powerful attacks!" Vent shouted at Cecil from afar. "Here, have a taste of my Earth Crush!!" He channeled some of Model OX's energy to his right fist. He smirked at Cecil, then let his fist drop as he punched the ground below him with all his might. Suddenly, the street began to crack, creating a large split in the ground. Soon enough, erupting from the great crack in the ground came boulders, and many of them, at that. They ascended to the air in great numbers. Vent was at least hoping to stop the large attack, and have a few boulders left to hurl at his enemy. Once again, his attack of choiced seemed to have failed, for the outsized blast of dark energy easily broke through the boulders. This was nearly unstoppable. Time had run out for Vent to stop the attack. The large blast made impact with Vent's body, and easily surrounded him in it's energy, blasting him back many feet away. His armor began to produce smoke after the attack. It was just that powerful. Could Vent manage to get up afterwards, or was it all over for him?

Sora was listening to what naruto was saying, giving him a smirk. He almsot felt sorry for him, it sounded like his other teammates have completely abbandoned him, and now he was looking for help from other teams. Sora and Riku felt no sorrow for him after all he put them through. Naruto almost reminded sora of minato from the first round, and that wasn't a good thing. The blood from sora's lip was still dripping, but it wasn't as painful. It was time that Sora and Riku made their way to find the switch to the portal, and so they could catch up. Nobodies were surrounding the whole world, at almost every corner, there were nobodies waiting for them to come. Naruto would only be holding them back, so there's no way they could trust him. Sora looked back over to naruto and said, "We heard you, we just don't trust you. Simple as that."

Now sora looked over to riku, as he was unloading attacks on naruto. Sora also started to wonder, when will the darkness ever leave riku? Ever since their first journey, riku had never been the same, even though he had never forgotten whp his friends were. The more sora thought, the more his chest started to hurt. "Could it be?", said sora. The darkness was coming back to him, and eating away at his heart, and every inch of light he had. "Ah", said sora, falling to the ground. "Not again", said sora. He tried to think of the good flashbacks like he did last round, but it was no use. The darkness was finally getting to him, and there was nothing he could do. Finally, the ain stopped, and sora stood back up. But was he still on the light's side? He quickely glanced at naruto, in rage. It was happeneing again. And seemed like Naruto was about to get a taste of Vent got. His attacks were going to get stronger and more powerful, and narto was about to find out the hard way.

Cecil's smug laugh continued, evidently pleased at the sheer power in his attack. It was something that he would enjoy using. With all of that excess power being drained away in that attack though, his dark aura finally became invisible, where as before it surrounded him, seen by everyone. He seemed slightly more inconspicious than before, now.

So now, the Dark Knight had to pace himself in battle, or he might actually feel challenged. At the moment, his energy seemed endless, but that would end soon. Another attack like Omega, and he would surely drain away at least an eight to a fourth of his energy.

Cecil walked towards Vent, lifting his sword up, ready to finish the battle already. "What will you do now, naive warrior? You have no one to help you now."

He was about to attack again, when he sensed the darkness over coming Sora. "RIKU!" Naruto yelled knowing this was bad. "Your friend has been taken over with darkness, I can sense it! You need to save him before it takes over competly!" Naruto yelled this while putting away his weapons, so Riku would trust him. (OOC: I'm back!!!!!!!!!!)

Riku stopped his charge when he felt a sudden burst of Darkness from behind. At first he thought Xehanort or some extremely powerful Heartless has ambushed him, but to his astonishment and disbelief, it was Sora.

Sora's face grew nasty as the stretched into tiny lines. Darkness was seeping from his body like steam, but it never seemed to exhaust. Even from where he stood, Riku could feel the immense rage generated from Sora. He thought that he's probably lucky that it wasn't hatred that had driven him into such state.

What the hell are you thinking about? Stop him before he's succumbs to Darkness! Turning tails on Naruto, Riku focused on to Sora as he ran towards him, yelling at the top of his lungs, "Sora! Stop! What do you think you're doing?"

I hope that I could get some senses into him before he's changed forever... I'll never allow that! NEVER!

Bastila watched as Cecil showed off his new powers. They had indeed increased, and it looked like he was winning.
Damnit... I had hoped for him to exhaust himself more. But I guess this will be even better. Again her malicious little grin was appearing.

She was thirsting to attack but... It wasn't time just yet.

[Yellow Flash]

Naruto jumped behind Sora and grabbed his arms, so he wouldn't attack Riku. "Hurry, think of something! I don't want him to secum to the darkness! He needs your help!" Naruto yelled this as a bucking Sora fought against him.

Without even thinking, without even a slight nerve of hesitation in his stern movements, the small warrior leaped in front of Cecil, a shining green blade in his right hand. The blade Axl held in his possession was much similiar to the blade his friend Zero possessed. This sword, the replica of that blade, was just as powerful. And the ability the Hunter held at his disposal was to blame for the enigma.

The Reploid, ever since his creation, could copy any weapons his opponent held to their aid. And in his adventurous life span, the robot finally copied Zero’s weapon, the Z-Saber. Even though it was an exact replica of the legendary blade, it still possessed the same unimaginable power the real sword had. It too held the same beauty as the original. He had to dig deep into the achieves of his system to retrieve the data he longed for, but after a swift scan through his long forgotten memories, his amputations had finally been realized: he found the data to create the blade.

“You should step back now,” Axl smiled, his blade held up high. “Eat this!”

His blade swiftly maneuvered itself into the air. The hard sunlight glistened on the hard beam, making a dazzling array of lights surround the bulky armor of the warrior. The multitude colors was outstanding, making his body seemed like it was undergoing a strange metamorphosis. In Axl’s sight, this armor had almost a rainbow colored aura to it.

The appearance of a new fighter surprised even him, the speed at which this man came impressed him, regardless of his current state of mind. The sword slightly blinded him, and it made him want to spit in his direction at this man's willingness to save some random man.

That didn't change the incoming blade, and so Cecil swung his blade out from above him, his arm moving in an awkward way to bring up enough force to counter this man. The blades touched, equally powered against each other. Cecil growled angrily, staring at this new enemy with hate already growing. He seemed like the one he had been about to kill, in some odd way. He should be easy to destroy too, then.

"You wish to die?"

Sora fell back down to is knees before anything bad could happen. Luckily, naruto dodged sora's attacks before anything bad could happen. The darkness had faded away once again, and they were ready to go off. "Riku, Naruto, i'm sorry", said sora.

Vent could only drop his jaw in amazement as the young blue Reploid hurried to their battle, making a dramatic appearance in front of both he and Cecil. He looked quite familiar. The blue gem on his cranium and the spikey orange hair, along with the X-shaped scar across his face all rung bells to him. Recalling memories of this robotic boy, Vent finally remebered who this was. Axl... was that his name? He remembered back in the earlier rounds, he and Axl met one another. Vent could remember how shocked, but glad, to see someone like him. Or, at least, someone similar to him. The young MegaMan quickly lifted himself up to his feet, holding his OX-Saber firm once more. His red armor was scratched a bit from the attacks which had sent him descending to the ground with great impact, and the handle of his weapon was, too, scratched. Examining the Reploid boy, Vent almost immediately noticed the blade in Axl's palm. It looked very much like his OX-Saber... Almost too much like it. Could.... the two have somehow been connected? Omega? Zero? Replica? Z-Saber... OX-Saber... Vent quickly lifted his head, looking into Axl's eyes.

"You... you're that boy! That same boy I'd met back in the earier rounds of this competition...," Vent stated. "Axl, was it? Remember me? Vent? It's been a while. Nice to see you've made it this far, too." Vent's golden hair flowed like an endless stream in the wind, blowing near his own face. He turned to face the Dark Knight. "I know we're not on the same team, but this guy won't go down easily. We need to work together to knock some sense into him. You ready?" Vent asked, getting into his stance once more.

Despite that Riku was becoming increasingly worried for Sora, he forced himself to chuckle lightly, "Don't be. It's bad enough that I'm saying that too often, and with a sap like you together it'll totally ruin anyone's day."

All the sudden, Riku's senses flared strongly as he quickly slid out of harm's way. A gigantic, never to be seen before Nobody crashed down on where he stood just seconds before. It looked like an oversized Berserker, holding that oversized bat and doing that oversized dance, but it wasn't those that Riku feared most.

This new Nobody has hundreds and hundreds of rows of teeth along his body. And they look huge and nasty. Riku gave a sigh as he stared at the new opponent.

"I guess this would be a little bit harder to take down compared to Darksides..." He twirled his Keyblades around casually, striding towards the Giant Berserker when his senses flared once again. A quick dodge and dash left almost a shadow of him behind, but more was coming. Another barrage of lasers landed as he leaped out of harm's way, furious that he cannot even get close enough to strike the Nobody. Those lasers around the city are protecting it! He thought fleetingly, there must be a way to get close!

Then a thought struck him as he grinned sheepishly. "Of course," he muttered, "How could I forget?" He walked towards Sora and held him at the shoulders with his head down. He then looked up, and spoke in a most funny and dramatic tone he has ever imitated, "Dear Sora, would you care to be the bait while me, the hero, defeat this annoying creature? You know, that's what friends for, right?"

He grinned.

"It's ok mate" Naruto said lowering Sora to the ground, and pulling out a bag of food pills. He spread 2 on his hand, cutting one in half. He held out the half to Sora. "Here eat this, it's a food pill, it will restore you strength, and it's not posion. And I'll prove it." Naruto said as he ate the other half. And waited for Sora to do the same. He then looked around and saw all the nobodies around him. He knew that Sora was too weak to do anything and he looked Riku in the eye. "I'll be the bait!" He said...."What do you want me to do?"

Riku stared at Naruto. Perhaps he's right, Riku thought to himself, Sora does look worn out, but not in his body but in his heart.

He replied as he stared at the Nobody that's slowly advancing at them, "Okay. The term of bait is simple: Disract the enemy so it'll throw everything at you. It would be a piece of cake with your healing powers, even if you're hit."

Riku readied himself as power began to glow in his Keyblades. He has just learned how to apply several Magic at once, and this time he's throwing another hurdle in it: Physical and magical, together.

Seeing the new fighter enter the battle, Bastila decided she couldn't wait any longer. She'd risk someone messing with her target, after all. She walked forward with regular speed, not in a hurry, not dragging things out.

They were in the middle of a fight, and she broke in rudely. Staring over to the two boys she spoke up. "I'd stay away from him if I was you. He is mine."
She then addressed Cecil. "I see that you too have embraced the darkness. Too bad you'll have little pleasure of it."
At her last words her lightsaber flashed up as brilliant as always, ready to cut her enemies.

Sora was upside down with the blood rushing to his head. Riku was asking to be the hero for this. There was no way they could both take down the nobody without the the lsers shooting them down. At theis point, the darkness has left sora's body, but not for long. He felt that it was still there, so he had to make this quick. He stared at the oversized nobody, it was huge. It had almost three rows of razo sharp teeth, that could pierce their skin with no problem what-so-ever. Sora let out a big sigh to riku, and said, "Yeah what are friends for." Sora was being sarcastic, but he was going to do it. Sora picked up his keyblade and ran around the giant nobody. "Hey, over hear!", screamed sora. He was trying to get the lasers aimed at him so that Riku and Narut can get the nobodie. The lasers were trying to get a good shot at sora. Sora was running around the battlefield as fast as possible, until short beams of energy started shooting at him, one actually skidded his head. "Woah! That was a close one", said sora.

He ket running around so that Riku and Naruto could fight the giant nobodie. "Riku, Naruto, today would be nice."

Yeah, you with the sword! I'm surprised that you even have the brains to know its a sword." Naruto laughed jumping up and down in front of the nobodies playing his part well.

All the nobodies roared in anger and started swinging their blades and whatever else they had a Naruto, the big one with the teeth even tired to bite him. Naruto laughed again and threw out more taunts as he dodged their attacks. However he got hit in the back by a few Sniper bullets. But got up again, fine. "Your going to have to do better then that. Idiots!" Naruto yelled again.

But he then noticed Sora, running around distracting them a well. 'That idiot' Naruto thought to himself. Hurry up Riku!

Riku laughed heartily as Sora tried his best to emphasis his scarcasm. "Not good enough, Sora!" replied Riku as he tries to stiffle his laughter, "Not good enough!" It was good to see Sora back in action, even better to see him attempting a joke.

At once he stared at the gigantic Nobody. His eyes was glaring with blue as he focused his energy strongly. It would take a lot of effort to tie it down before finally taking it out. And now with the addition of the new army of Nobodies, it would be a lot more harder.

"But hey, I was never the kind to lose a challenge, much less giving up! Air Slicer!" Riku needed to take out the lasers first, or else it would only be a matter of time before they lose the battles. The air around Riku began to ripple and writhe as if it was alive and soared towards the lasers around Xehanort's buildings. Nearly all visible laser guns were sliced into two by Riku's Air Magic as he continued forwards, counting his safety on the two 'baits'.

He chuckled again at that thought.

"Dark Shield!" Riku conjured upon the Dark, crystalline energy in front of him as he aimed his Keyblades at the Nobody from behind the shield. He then racked up more magic than he ever did in his life, trying with everything he's got to focus his strength to a point. C'mon, just a little bit more... Steady! Comforting his own heart, Riku's body glowed rainbow and magnificent colours that shone of divine light soared across sky and land, screaming of its own beauty.

Riku knew he was ready. He stared at the Nobody and grinned.

"Goodbye. RAINBOW FLARE!!!" A powerful streak of Light sailed across the sky and towards the head of the Nobody. One could almost see multiple ripples of colors as it blasted ahead.

But Riku wasn't done yet. He crouched down down with one Keyblade on each hand, his body still flaring with energy, and his Dark Shield wavering in front of him. And he leaped. Leaped like never before. his figure soared across the skyblue heaven as the Dark Shield pressed down on his body, forming a protective barrier around the rocketing teen.

The beam of Light struck the Nobody true in its head. It didn't even have a chance to dodge for it was far too quick. Shrieking like a banshee, the Gigantic Nobody began to fall towards the ground. It was still alive and strong, and if given the chance to revive they probably won't survive a real assault. Riku screamed as he charged, "Raaahhhh!!!"

But the Nobody saw it coming. With one last twist of his body, it's right shoulder came into view instead of its chest, and Riku knew he has just foiled it. Absolutely everything. "Dammit!" But he had no choice. His Keyblade sliced clean through its right arm and severing it, but the Nobody is alive.

Alive and kicking. Pain seemed to induce the Nobody to take radical actions. When Riku landed, weak from the loss of energy and immobilised, he saw a dark shadow looming over him. He didn't even need to think to know that it was going to do a really, really painful body slam.

"Oh sh-" Crash!

Riku's last thoughts were these: I wonder if flunking high school felt worse than this?

Sora kept running around, alond with Naruto now, to distract the laser beams so they wouldn't harm Riku, and it was working. Sora took a quick glance over at the nobody. Riku had sliced the right arm of it clean off, but it was still alive and kicking. Sora was cheering him on, until the lasers came back. One laser shotat his head again, but he quickly dodged it. He saw a little piece of his hair fall down in front of him. He stood back quickly once again, and kept running. "Man, i'm getting tired of running", said sora. But he had to keep running, or he would surely be blasted away. While he was running, he was trying to figure out why the darkness had come back to him. It seemed like it had comletely left his heart for good, but he was apparentely wrong. It had taken over him once again, and he was lucky that Naruto was able to defend his attack before something bad had happened. Even Riku, his best friend who had been through the dark realm and back, didn't know what to do. Sora understood that Naruto had not been a companion of Sora since the start of the competiton, or even the round, since they got into a little fight, and naruto made Sora bleed. But sora never wanted to harm naruto at all. It was time that they work together, and find a way out of the city. But first, that nobody had to be taken care of that nobody.

All of a sudden, Riku was calling for help. Even with only one arm, the vicious nobody was enraged even more. Kind of like how sora was when he was possesed by the darkness. Riku couldn't take it down by himself, so sora had to make a tough desicion. He looked over to Naruto, "Keep distracting the lasers", said sora. At that time, sora dashed over to the giant nobody. But before he could get there, the nobody summond dozens of Dusks. "Woah! Where did these come from?", said sora. The only way he could get to the giant nobody, was to take care of the dusks first. The dusks charged at sora one by one, falling into the ground into a 2-Dimensional form. They were sneaking u to sora, so sora got his reaction commands ready. They started attacking him, and poping up from inder the ground. Sora quickly reacted and sliced them from behind. "One down, 200 more to go", said sora, in a sarcastic way. More and more nobodies kept tryng to attack ora, but he kept reverseing the attacks. "Thank god for reaction commands", said sora.

Finally, the nobodies cleared up. And there was nothing standing between him and the giant nobody. He was ready to finish t off for good. "Hey ugly, you ready for this?", said sora. The nobody stared at sora, and sora stared at him right back. Niether one of them made a move. Naruto was still trying to distract the lasers, and sora didn't know how much longer he could go on. Sora quickely made a move to the nobody. He tried to use the stradegy he used on the rock titan where he took out the legs forst. Sora quickely dashed over to the monsters leg and started unleashing combos on it. The attacks startled the nobody, but didn't bring him down. The nobody then noticed Sora and swung his fist at him. Sora used dodge rool to evade the attack and then used the technique he used back at The Labryinth of Chaos on the nobody. "FREEZE FREEZE FREEZE!" yelled Sora. The ice crystals surounded the nobodys leg and he couldn't move. "Now time for phase two", said sora. "THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER!", yelled Sora again. Hundeds of lighting bolts struck the nobody and the crystals exploded. "Now for the final stage", said sora. Once again he charged the creature and unleashed a series of devastating combos on it's leg. Finally, the creature was brought down to one knee.

It was time to finish it off. The nody was down to one knee, and all sora could say was, "Say hi to Xemnas for me." Sora lifted up his keyblade and slashed through the nobodies head. Naruto had been distracting the laser's while Riku attacked. Then he suddenly heard a shout of help from Riku, turning around he saw Sora go to take care of it. So he contiuned to distract the laser's, he contiuned doing this, until he heard the giant nobody go down.

Jumping up into the air he threw shurkien at the laser cannon's around him destorying them. He then ran over to where Sora was kneeling by Riku's side. "We got to get him to a safe place, before we are spotted again." Naruto said tryiing to lift Riku alone. "Here, Sora help me."

A small form of confusion manifested its way onto the face of the young warrior. The existence next to his fragile body was very familiar to him. His small presence seemed almost too familiar; like his creation was based off the physical appearance of his friend Zero, and that was the reason why the hint of confusion appeared from Axl’s trapped soul. The gold, following hair, the divine armor he wore, it all reminded him of Zero. His cold mainframe could not help but reminisce through his multiple memories.

“Yeah, I’m ready,” The Hunter spoke; his crescent saber was still shining with the same brilliant array of lights. “I just hope you don’t slack off.”

A single cocky smile was now branded on the Reploid’s pale, overconfident face. The sudden surge of an intense brawl was now the only sensation that was dwelling inside his metallic structure. However, even with his aggressive emotions still hibernating inside his weary body, the horrible emotion seemed to clash with his oath for peace. His body felt the tingling sensation for a tremendous brawl, but the majestic feeling of peace was still slumbering inside the deep achieves of his memories. The vibrate cries of the unspoken peace around his existence could only be ignored as Axl’s warrior nature took control. The lust for fighting, the longing feeling of pulling down the trigger of the wide verity of weapons at his disposal, was still there. It was almost as if his aggressive state was carved into his advanced programming, and his programming controlled the soul that slumbered inside every being that was like him.

Sora finished off the nobody, and was ready to move on. He noticed that Naruto ran over to Riku to check on him and see if he was ok. At this oint, sora was completely exausted. He had been fighting ever since the start of the round, and he needed a break. But naruto called him over to come help take care of Riku. Sora still wasn't to sure about it, working with Naruto. It is true, Naruto aparentely just wants t get out of this round, and all of his teammates have abbandoned him. But sora still didn't trust Naruto, not yet. Naruto has been a nig pain in the butt since the start of the competiton. How could he know if he wouldn't turn on them later on in the round, or next round? He might seem like he wants to help, but Sora still wasn't sure. But then again, maybe that's why sora turned back over to the darkness. He was so enraged at Naruto this whole competiton, that it finally got to him. But tht still didn't exlain why it happened when sora fought Vent, either. Because that was the first time they actually met eachother in the whole competition. Maybe it just happens randomly, or maybe it happens when Xehanort is near. Perhaps it's a sign that Xehanort isn't far behind, and when sora starts to get taken over by the darkness, then that's when they start searching for him. It was risk sora had to take, because that would be the only way sora would ever find Xehanort.

Regardless of whether or not Sora liked Naruto, he had to work with him, if he wanted to help Riku. Sora slowly walked over to Naruto, almost limping. Sora's legs were completely warn out from all the fighting, and he was out of breath from dodging all of the lasers. He finally reached Naruto and Riku. Riku was laying there almost unconcious, and helless. "I know what to do", said sora. Sora took out his keyblade, and used the last bit of magic he had left. "Heal", said sora. Sora used Curaga on Riku, to hel revive him just a little bit. He wasn't comletely healed yet, but for now he just needed time to rest, and he earned it. Riku has been fighting this whole competiton, and hasn't rested at all. Early on, sora would take short naps and relaxing times to heal himself better Riku has been constantely fighting, not only this whole competiton, but ever since they first left Destiny Islands, for the first time. Riku has been in a constant battle with the ower of darkness ever since that fateful night. It was a night where no one would ever be the same again. And now, it was riku's time to relax, and sora's time to do the fighting.

"Help me pick him up, Naruto. We'll carry him to a safe place", said sora.

[Yellow Flash]

Naruto looked at Sora and knew that he was only working with him to keep his friend safe, that was fine with him, he would have done the same thing. Picking up Riku, Naruto and Sora moved him to a back ally, where no one could spot them.

"We can rest here for a while" Naruto said, laying Riku down carfully. "Do you want to watch for nobodies or should I?" Naruto asked looking down the allyway carfully. He had turned ack into his normal form.

"Nngh..." How long am I out? Riku woke up with a splitting headache that threatened a scream from his throat, and the strangest sensation of getting laid. Wait a sec, that's not right! Riku thought incredulously. He's in a city, the world where Nobodies are running amok on the streets and he had just been taken down by a gigantic Nobody... Oh.

"Oh my god..." A croak came to his lips as he finally found the ability to talk. Now, my eyes. And so his eyes fluttered open.

He was looking at the sky. He turned his head around to see Sora leaning against the wall. Then there was Naruto. He had the strangest sensation that he was talking, but he couldn't hear a thing. Panic jolted into Riku.

"No, I couldn't be deaf! Grr... C'mon! The Way To Dawn!" The divine Keyblade came to his hands. Tightening his grip on its handle, he forced himself to dig deep into his fleeting strength and finally croaked, "Heal!"

Riku leaped to his feet as the mystical light healed all of his remaining wounds gently. His body was still sore and painful inside, and his left arm could barely move, and his head felt like it was pounded rhythmically by a hammer. But he was okay.

Okay to see another day. He sighed deeply as he banished the evil thought away. It would not do for him to think negatively. In fact, he insist on thinking the positive.

With a slight smile, he turned towards Naruto and thanked him for his help. He said with a sense of gratitude, "I might not be awake to see it, but I'm sure you'd a hand in saving my life. That's twice you've done it. And for that, you have my eternal gratitude."

But he continued on gravely, "However, I cannot help you. Not now. But... if we ever meet again on a better - or worse - day, I will always be there for you." He spun around to face Sora, but not without one last sentence.

This time, he walked towards his old buddy and gave him a good ol' rubbing on that spiky head of his, laughing, "So, how're you doing pal?"

Naruto looked up to see Riku awake, "Your awake!" Naruto excalimed "Hope your feeling better, oh and don't mention it, I understand the comp." Naruto watched the exchange between the two friends and started to think of his back home. He missed Sakura, and the others as well.

"Well, now what?" Naruto asked the two friends "You want to go our seperate ways, or what?"

Riku said without turning around, "Today," he spoke outloud as if making a statement, "Today, we rest."

"Got ya" Naruto said as he lay down for some much needed rest.
(OOC: Very smart Xuan....very smart....and tomorrow we look for that switch, anyway, I'm at a confernce tomorrow, from 8 to 4 I think....Aus time....see ya, got to go!, Naruto will follow you, Unless you don't want him to....)

A big sigh of relief came across sora's face when he saw Riku wake up. He was even more relieved when he heard him say to rest. Rest was definitely something that he needed, after all of this running around and constant fighting. Sora took a rest, and layed down on the ground. Finally, sora was relaxed, and it felt very good. All of his muscles ached him terrible pain, and was almost comletely out of breath. But now, he could rest. Everything was looking good for Sora at this oint. He was with Riku, and Naruto, he was resting, and later on, they will go find that switch to the portal, and will get out of this city. Sora's eyes started to get heavier, and harder to keep open. He hasn't goten any real sleep since round three, and hasn't gotten any rest since round five. But now, he could finally relax and get his thought sorted out. He started to think about all of his flashbacks, and everytime he turned over to the darkness. How were they all connected? Why were they hapenning to him? What is Birth By Sleep? The only one who knew that, was Xehanort. And there was nothing stopping sora from finding out why.

"This city won't be the death of me", said sora. He wasn't out of this competiton yet, he still had some questions that needed to be answered. He still wasn't 100% sure who Terra was, or why he knew who he was. He was sure if him and his other friends would find the switch, that would get them to the next round safely. But they were missing one person. "Axl", said sora. Axl was the one person who they knew could get them to the swtc safely. Axl was without a dount no ones fool. So they needed him more than anyone.

Riku laid down on the floor, humming contently as he stared up to the sky.

Sunset, Riku thought. That definitely brings back memories. I do wonder how heaven looks like sometimes... And Ansem The Wise has definitely went there for good.

Riku's thoughts were a disarray as tireness began to crept up on his back. He could almost feel the void of energy in his heart that needs refill. Today's battle had taken a lot of his body, and he was doubtful of his survival. All of them. After all, if a giant Berserker could give him the chills, then surely Xehanort would be his worst nightmares.

He winced inwardly. He seriously hated to be reminded of Xehanort. When he was a Heartless, he had been hounding him like a helldog. And now, he was simply a thorn that must be removed.

"I wish for the best... Tomorrow..." And he drifted to sleep.

Seeing the new fighter enter the battle, Bastila decided she couldn't wait any longer. She'd risk someone messing with her target, after all. She walked forward with regular speed, not in a hurry, not dragging things out.

They were in the middle of a fight, and she broke in rudely. Staring over to the two boys she spoke up. "I'd stay away from him if I was you. He is mine."
She then addressed Cecil. "I see that you too have embraced the darkness. Too bad you'll have little pleasure of it."
At her last words her lightsaber flashed up as brilliant as always, ready to cut her enemies.

Cecil stepped away quickly from all three fighters, feeling as if he were cornered in some way. The appearance of Bastila seemed like a blessing at the moment. Revenge was in the making already. His sword hung loosely in his hand, just touching the ground with the tip. He lifted his hand up, thinking now what he could do.

He looked back on the power of Omega. Such destructive abilites were available to him now, where as before it wasn't. Because my Light stopped my full potential. Now...

Now, Cecil put his palm out, building up his power. A grin flashed across his face, as if anyone could see it. "Now, I have real power," he laughed as sparks lit, and dark lightning shot towards Bastila, not wasting any time in starting the fight he had thought of ever since his rebirth.

He was indeed more powerful now. The dark lightning shot towards Bastila, barely giving her time to react. She whipped up her hands and focused the force to them, catching the lightning in her hands.
It hurt, a lot.

She released the power of her own lightning and pushed his backwards, inch by inch. The two powers now met between them, striving to push the other back.
This feels good...

And with that, she laughed.

The laughter of his enemy might have angered him before, but at that moment it only ended in his own laughter. Two people, lost in darkness and fighting to the death, laughing in the face of eachother. It may have given chills to others to think of such a thing.

The power she put forth matched his own that he was using at that moment, but he didn't try and over-exert himself in any way. He simply held enough of his power to match hers, and he could tell she wasn't trying either.

Darkness spread from him, slowly leaking into the ground... "My enemies will fall before my power," Cecil commented confidently as the dark tendrils of power burst forth from under Bastila, attempting to tie her up. This time though, he made sure to wrap them around her entire body, unlike his fight with Kameo. He wouldn't be caught off-guard by stupidity this time.

Bastila held fast, keeping her lightning fixed to his. She watched, interested, while he leaked dark force to the ground and it crept upon her slowly, trying to bind her.
She let it creep up until it reached her hands, then suddenly she ripped her hands away and stopped channeling the force lightning.
Faster then what would seem possible she had put up a force absorption shield, and as the dark lightning struck her, it simply disappeared, adding power to Bastila. As it surged through her, and explosion of darkness erupted around her, blasting away the darkness Cecil was binding her with.

"Come on." She said mockingly. "At least try?"

Pikachu, Chimchar, and Piplup ran, they ran away from a very big boom. They all looked back to see if everyone was alright. Then, after about five minutes of running on metal, they ran staright into someoen in armor, it was an allie, they knew that. They backed up and gave an apologetic look.

Cecil watched his attack fail with gritted teeth, immediately thinking up a new strategy. Suddenly, something bumped against his armor, and his sword was pointed behind him as he twisted around, only to see three... Animals sitting there. Were they monsters? He'd seen small monsters in his world before, but none quite like these three.

Once more, he felt an odd tie between him and these beings, and once more he pushed it away, uncaring. Ignoring them, he looked back towards Bastila.

"Come at me, then!"

"Pikachu!" Let's help! Pikachu ordered, and he jumped OVER the guy in armor and in a fighting stance. Sparks began to edge around the red spots on his cheeks. YHe looked like he was about to use some serious lighning, or he was just charging up, like a battery.

Piplup nodded, and jumped high in the air, flipping, and then landed three feet to the right of the guy. She was good at jumping, not as good as pikachu, but good. She stood in a fighitng position, and looked like she was going to go all out on their enemy.

Chimchar nodded as well, and jumped in the air, shoting a fireball out of his mouthand making a mark three fet to the elft of the guy. He landed exactly in the center of the scorched mark, and he too got in a fighting stance, his eyes narrowed, he was ready to set somone's pants on fire.

Bastila saw Cecil turning around, looking at something. She couldn't see anything herself, but she felt something there. Something tiny.
Cecil dared her to come, and hey, who was she to disappoint?

She prepared to charge, pulling out her lightsaber, when suddenly three tiny animals leaped out and landed around Cecil. She stared at them with disbelief for a few moments. "This is your rescue?"
She shook her head, then relaxed. She put her left hand up to the temple of her head, and focused. Searching her mind for an ancient power. She hadn't been able to use it before, but now... now everything was different.

She nearly faded for a moment or two, then two copies of her just appeared right next to her. Force Doppelganger. Instead of charging herself, she put herself in a defensive postition to avoid taking damage, while letting the doppelgangers do the attacks.

"Now!"
On her signal, they both charged forward, swinging their lightsabers in a flurry of motions , preparing for a counterattack.

Cecil ran straight past the three animals, Grinning as darkness oozed and seperated from him. Black, loosely created copies formed, running at Bastila just like himself. "Three on one just isn't fair, woudn't you say?"

His sword flashed as all three of them shot blades of darkness, spinning them straight at the enemies. The two copies of himself tried to block the others, though the blade that was swung managed to get by, cutting through his armor and digging into his arm. Narrowly missing the bone, he grunted in pain as he kept running forward, intent on slashing through her chest. This time, actually killing her.

Blood flew into the air from his long gash, speckling the ground with it. "Die!"

Bastila hadn't expected Cecil to attack so sudden, and it might expose the weakness to her doppelganger trick. She desperately tried to completely dodge the dark blade, but his attack had made her too unprepared.

She brought up her lightsaber to deflect the blow and sidestepped to the right, but the dark blade cut her arm just slightly. And her clones disappeared.
The tiniest trickle of blood flooded downwards, and Bastila looked at the dark knight.
"How... annoying."

She was ready to test his power with the blade again though, so she leaped quickly up in the air, not moving at natural speed, then spun around to gain extra power and brought her lightsaber straight down towards the top of the Cecil standing in front of her, ignoring the other ones.

A small shock of awe erupted from the physical expressions on Axl’s face. His new oath seemed to clash with the reality he was examining in front of him. The darkness that almost corrupted his soul had transformed that two in front of him into killing beasts. In the gaze of the Reploid, a sensation of revenge was the only thing they longed for, and that meant they also carried a horrible lust from the fowl crimson liquid. In addition, that logic brought the same feeling of aggression back into the Hunter’s solemn movements. The incredible sensation of hatred never had a tight grip on the robot’s heart as it did that moment.

The hold that he possessed on his divine blade was tense, almost has if he was trying to crush the majestic saber with a tremendous force. His hatred met no bounds. He wanted the long struggle for battle to stop. He wanted peace to expand across the magnificent lands in every realm. He wanted the brilliant rays of the unspoken peace that surrounded his existence to extend its bountiful light across each world. If the creatures of each realm thrived off peace, like the hopes that was slumbering in the small metallic structure, then he knew, without a single nerve of doubt in his stern programming, that the feeling of aggression would cease among the marveling lands.

“What’s wrong with you guys?” The Reploid shouted at the two dark beings, a slight crack of sadness in his voice. “The only thing you two think about is fighting!”

Nartuo streached as he woke up, giving a big yawn. His night had not gone undisturbied, which was unsusal in a city trying to destory them. He looked over to Riku and Sora, they looked rested, but were still asleep. Nartuo looked over at the Sunrise, it was beasutiful. And has he looked at this sunrise, he remebered all his friends, and he wanted to go home.

"Well I can't" Naruto said to himself "Not until all of this is finished" He then setteled down to wait for Riku and Sora to wake up.

Vent only stared as the young Sith woman and the bulky Dark Knight clashed blades, eager to defeat one another. It was only a few seconds ago that he and the young, blue male Reploid beside him were going to team up to battle the Knight. Suddenly, this woman appears, and the two were ignored completely. What a strange dilemma. Everywhere he turned, there was a fight going on. This entire competition was about fighting. The world-- no, the universe-- was filled with fighting, and nothing could change that. Everyone would fight. It was just the natural order of things. People like Axl and Vent may not have enjoyed it, but it was a way of life. Vent sighed. His teammate, Cecil, was suffering from the possession of the darkness in his soul. It even made him turn against his own teammate. The young MegaMan could only hope that he would snap back to his senses. His honor as a Holy Paladin was being besmirched by this. No one else could seem to make him realize this. Only he himself could overcome it. Vent turned his head, facing the disappointed Reploid as he shouted at the two. Vent sighed loudly, placing his palm on Axl's shoulder.

"Axl... let them fight," Vent simply said. "They'll eventually tire themselves out... and they'll stop eventually. So far, no one has ended up dying yet. The warriors may have experienced great pain, but no one would have the heart to actually kill someone." Vent's eyelids grew heavy, and his eyes began to close slowly. "And if it does get out of hand, we'll handle it. Don't worry..." Vent slowly opened his eyes back up, looking at the two warriors struggle against one another. It is pretty sad to watch, though...

Cecil watched the attack fly towards him, and he had no way to counter it. Therefore, he jumped out of the way, rolling back to his feet and holding his arm with his other hand. He stared at the man who yelled at them both, and switched his attention back to Bastila.

Then, he simply waited, for the next move to be made...

Bastila's lightsaber struck the ground and a shockwave of air was sent out from the powerful blow. One of the kids was yelling, but he wasn't attacking so she paid him no heed.
She lifted her arm high up in the air and smashed her palm hard into the ground, channeling force through it and into her palm so that the earth shook and the ground split apart at places, making it harder to move. Immidiatly after this she jumped forward again, striking at cecil, ready for him to block the upper part of her lightsaber and ready to strike quickly again with the lower part.

For the first time in several rounds, sora was finally asleep. He could finaly take a rest from the intense competition, and endles fighting. It was also time to relax from all of the flashbacks and Xehanort. The darkness tried to take him over, but once again failed. It was more of a warning saying that it was still in his system, and it made it clear that the darkness was still there. This wasn't the time to worry about it. Sora and Riku were fast alseep, and resting for the battle to find the switch to get out of here. Along side with Naruto, who has tried to reason with sora and riku. He didn't care about the teams anymore, he just wanted to find a way out of this dangerous city and go on to the next round. They were going to need this rest for a lot more than getting ready to go find the switch. There were nobodies at every corner, and sora and his friends found that out the hard way. The giant nobody that had attacked them not to long ago really tired sora and his friends out. Sora and Naruto were running around, distracting, and dodging the lasers, while riku tried to destroy the nobody. It wasn't long before Riku got to tired, and the nbody took advantage. Sora had to go and save riku, before it was to late.

Of course, sora defeated the ginat nobody wth no problem, but it still took a toll on him as well. He was extremely tired, and that's why he fell asleep. Sora slept for quite a while, before he woke up. Slowly opening his eyes, and giving a out a big yawn and a big stretch. He rubbed his eyes a little and opened them fully. He saw Naruto standing up and looking at the sun as it rose above the tall buildings. Sora stood up and walked over to Naruto. "Good mornin'", said sora. At this oint, sora could trust naruto. HJe had earned his respect, especially after the fight they had before the nobodies came. "So, we're off to find the switch today, huh? We should wait for Riku to wake up on his own", said sora.

Sora went over into a corner to do some stretching and working on his swings with his keyblade. He wanted to be 100% prepared for the battles ahead, so he trained for a while. He used curag on any injuries he had. He was rested, but still sore from the battles. They also had to find Axl, who most likely, is fighting someone, so that's an even bigger reason to be prepared.

With the competition coming down to the final few people, sora started to think about what would happen if Riku and sora got seperated in the next few rounds. There could only be one champion, and only one reresenter from each team. Sora knew overcoming Axl and Riku would not be an easy thing to do. But he knew it was the only way possible. He had really made a lot of friends through this whole competiton, but it coming down to say goodbye. Saying goodbye is something no one ever wants to do for some people, esecially to your friends. He already had to see Dart, the very first person he met, get eliminated. Like he said in the start of the round, this was for Dart. So sora picked up his keyblade, walked back over to naruto and riku, and got ready for the battles ahead.

"Good morning" Naruto responded to Sora, as he watched him do some streches and some easy training, getting ready for the fights to come. "Yep off to find that switch" Naruto mumbled to himself, as he also streched his museles.

Naruto took out his trench knifes, cheked that they were sharp, and then put them back. He then started to check his equiment. He had 10 food pills, 5 smoke bombs, 5 paper bombs, 15 shurkien, and 5 kurnri knifes, as well as some personal things, such as a picture of Team 7 before Saskue ran away. He looked at the picture for a while, before turning back to wait for Riku to wake up, he was obvoivly the leader and Naruto would follow him, for this round, where ever he went.
(OOC: I put that last line in, because I have to go to a confernce soon (bout an hour) And that's like for 4 or 5 hours long (maybe more) so I will be back by 4 or 5 (Aus time) to follow you into the portal and finish up this round, Naruto will follow you anywhere and fight with you.)

Axl quickly pondered upon Vent’s words. Would he just sit there and let two warriors battle against their will? The darkness was to blame for this incredible, unbelievable situation. The Hunter wanted this battle to cease, even if the MegaMan’s words were correct. His ambition, his oath for peace, would not allow his aggressive behavior to wait for bloodshed to corrupt the metal palace that was under his presence. Peace was the only thought that was inside his hollow mind. The crimson liquid would no longer stain the clean appearance of the land.

Without even a small nerve of hesitation in his brave movements, Axl maneuvered his body forward, his Z-Saber clenched tightly in his right metallic hand. His speed had also increased since the sudden change in his attitude. His promise to himself would not allow him to fail in his mission. He would fight for peace, and that would be the only time a weapon would aid him in a fight.

With his incredible, blinding speed, the Hunter plowed his small body forward. His destination was in between the beings that had their souls corrupted by the fowl stench of darkness. His brave tactics made his body stand still upon arriving at his desired location, which was right in front of bother warriors. He quickly raised his right hand, the hand the possessed the Z-Saber, and maneuvered his arm to block the incoming light saber attack that was preformed by Bastila. And with his other free hand, the Reploid summoned the aid of his metallic pistol, aiming it at Cecil. Inside the dangerous weapon, a divine white plasma started to collect near the inner core, making the lone laser beam radiate into the sunlight from above. Both the radiation and sunlight danced in the wind in front of the Reploid existence, making them intertwine once more.

“Sorry, Vent,” The gunner spoke, a cocky expression of anger was branded on his face, “but I cannot follow that order.”

She saw the boy speeding forwards to come between them. She didn't stop her attack, she wanted it to land.
The kid however, did.

She pressed her lightsaber against his sword, harder and harder. Her face twisted in anger towards the boy for interfering. Her hands started shaking.
"How dareyou!?"

She stared him in the eyes, all her anger and hate was showing in her eyes. She hated it when people interfered.
Specially when they were of that damn light.

Cecil was about to run forward when he was cut off by that young man. He burned with light, and in turn in burned him. The sword glistened in the rays from above, making him feel sick to his stomach. His grip tightened on his sword as his anger grew. Disturbing their battle?

That wasn't something he liked. He said before, he would kill anyone who got in his way. That included this. "Back off now. Let us continue," he said, voice shaking, but otherwise calm.

If you don't...

A smile spread across Cecil's lips, a chuckle sounding from deep within his throat.
You'll be killed by my hand.

A cocky expression started to form on the pale face of the Hunter. Not one word escaped his lips, but he did shake his head from side-to-side, signaling a ‘no’ remark. His fighting stance stayed in its rightful position, not daring to move. Axl’s oath would not allow his existence to be frightened away by numerous threats. His heart, his light, gave him an overconfident attitude, and the giant smirk branded on his face was proof he showed not a single nerve of fear in the multitude of emotions that were receding inside his metallic frame.

“I refuse to let you two fight,” The Reploid finally spoke; his weapons were ready to perform the exact deeds they were designed for. “If you two want to fight so badly, you’re going to have to fight me!”

The intertwined lights that surrounded the presence of the robot swirled around his metal structure. The divine lights shined deeply onto his armor, making it look like the blue armor was multi-colored once again. Multiple brilliant shades of vibrate colors crossed his being. Deep inside the hollow bolts that conjoined the Hunter’s body parts together, the light that was dwelling inside his existence was reacting. His light was his savior, his own messiah.

The feeling of growing power within that odd armored man made him step back, groping for his darkness, clinging to it with all his might. Being in the face of Light made him grow sluggish in his mind. Was it his weakness? That had to be, it seemed. It only meant one thing though, to the black armored Knight. He would have to embrace the darkness even more, until it wasn't a weakness.

Laughter sounded from the Dark Knight as he reached into the very core of his being, where the inky black darkness dwelled, his power. To others, it was oozing and gross, but to him, it was beautiful, his power in all of it's glory. It didn't matter if they thought it horrible, as long as he crushed them. With the darkness, he would. He would destroy anything that got in his way, no matter what happened to him. It wasn't honor that caused these views, but the will to fight and prove himself.

His valor and strength was beyond such petty beliefs and codes.

Throwing himself in the power that was within him, he became completely fearless, a being with one purpose that was to be fulfilled at that moment. He lifted his sword up, pointing it straight at the man in front of him, Axl. If it were possible, the blade looked darker than before. His dark aura had returned, hanging around him in a inky haze of shadows.

Without any more warning than the lift of a sword, he dashed forward, moving his sword and thrusting it forward, aimed to cut his new enemy horizontally through the chest.

Se... Re...

Riku opened his eyes as feelings rushed back into his veins and his veins. He remained still however, his mind's fog disappeared as he thought of this dream he had yesterday.

A dream of an angelic music that danced of grace and harmony. A dream where he simply listened, listened.

It has filled him with never before sense of serenity. Only three words sprang to his head, and even he did not understand why.

I love you.

He pulled himself into standing position and took a good look around him. Same old place, same old sky, and same old friends. Oh wow, he thought, I'm actually considering Naruto a friend. But he did save my life twice. And there he was, sitting there and from the bored look on his face, he must have been waiting for quite some time.

Sora was another matter. He was standing, thinking, worrying. A version of Sora Riku wished never to be seen again. The carefree and innocent boy he longed to see was slowly fading away. Riku betrayed a hint of sadness in his face before quickly covering it up.

What if we're never the same again?

Not wanting to ponder about the mysterious future any longer, Riku spoke loudly to the two of them before waving them along, "It's time. Let's find that switch to portal and get out of here."

The light of the armor forced Bastila to look away, it was just too bright. Her anger grew, and as it did, her hatred became stronger. This fueled her power.
She could feel the effect this had on Cecil too. He is about to attack. The kid will be destroyed, and I'll feed his dead body to whatever dark beasts I can find.

Her thoughts wandered on and on, darker and darker. She felt the power massing in her hands.
When she heard Cecil attacking the boy, she focused all the power she could in her hands and lightsaber, and started pushing the kids sword with all her might.
"YOU WILL DIE!"

Kameo jumped from the ledge of the tallest building and came crashing down to the ground below. In the shock of her fall she transformed into the hideous beast she had once become on the SpaceShip. She looked around at all the people fighting in front of her and ran into the middle of it. Darkness seeped from every inch of her body, creating some dark misty haze above them. She smiled as all 8 of her arms extended to block the hits of her enemies. She stood next to AXL.

"Do not be afraid, I do not wish to harm you" she said in a dark horrible voice. "You must allow me to consume their bodies and eat their flesh." She lunged forward at one of the men trying to grab them in her arms so she might absorb their souls to become stronger. The darkness around her was spreading and seeping through the ground as if growing and growing into something more powerful.

A sinister feeling suddenly appeared, and a loud crash hit Bastila's ears. She looked around, and what she saw made her forget all about the kid. Even about Cecil.
It was a giant dark beast, running straight towards them.

She quickly jumped back from Axl, getting out of the monsters way. If she was lucky it would tear the others apart...
What.. is it doing?
She watched as it actually talked to the kid. It wasn't just some mindless beast, it was helping the kid!

She knew what was coming, and she was ready for it.

Was Axl crazy? He couldn't fight both of those being of darkness alone. The young MegaMan had hoped that his words of wisdom would have been able to convince Axl to allow it... But sadly, they did not seem to work. Axl certainly was a loyal, brave Reploid. He would be so willing as to interfere with their epic battle just to cease the fighting. Vent could only stare in amazement.

Suddenly, a strange, unique feeling began to overcome Vent. It was a feeling of... friendship, but a feeling of remorse... Could this have, crazily enough, been because of the being this BioMetal had been modeled from? The epic Reploid hero, Zero, was, after all, friends of Axl. Could his being... his will... have been the cause of these feelings he suddenly had for Axl? No... Vent couldn't allow this. He wouldn't just let Axl die like this! He didn't stand a chance against those two! The young MegaMan screamed loudly, gripping tightly onto the hard metal handle of his OX-Saber. He wasn't going to let Axl fight this battle alone. He was going to help him... He owed it to the spirit of this BioMetal... Zero. With a quick change of stance, the young MegaMan dashed forward, towards the Reploid, Axl, and the two dark beings, Cecil and Bastilla.

"Axl... you're not fighting this battle alone!!" Vent shouted loudly to Axl. "I'm not going to let you die! Zero wouldn't want me to just let you do this alone!" Vent quickly jumped to the Reploid's side, ready to assist this "friend" in any way possible.

Cecil's momentum that he was going to put in his attack was cut off abruptly by the appearance of a large spider-like beast. Backing away, he studied the horrible features of the dark being, and realized who it was. The memory of him as a weakling Paladin came forth, showing him that delightful world of darkness and that beast that stood in front of him now. It used to be Kameo, and she had been holding back to stop it.

What happened to her now, then? She was weak, and gave up. She gave in to the power. Now she wasn't in control. Unlike him, a Dark Knight, and completely in control. The thought gave him once more to grin widely about.

His armor clinked as he moved, changing his stance to a stationary offensive. He had no wish to defend. He would kill that annoying light, than he would squash that over-grown bug. His sword glinted, reflecting the undesired light off like a black mirror.

Kameo shot hands after the paladin in the air, grabbing and twisting in all directions. She could not allow him to harm this Axl character. She let the darkness continue to sprout from the ground and create a haze over the air. Before they could escape she would have consumed their souls and gained even more power.

"You shall not harm him" said Kameo reaching again for Cecil.

A swift glare overcame Axl’s gaze, making him examine the beast that had just come to aid him in the wicked battle between the group. The sensation of darkness reeked from her existence, but the Hunter knew better then to turn down any helped he received, even if it was a dark creature, and with a harvest of positive emotions in his heart, the blade Axl held in his hand pointed its solid edge at the Dark Knight. The unattainable light from the heavens glinted brightly, unable to retreat back into the darkness it once hid. The divine blade, the replica of the Z-Saber, would no longer hide in the darkness.

“Come on, Vent,” The Reploid spoke, his weary eyes were know locked on the form of Cecil. “Let’s take out the trash!”

With a brilliant array of multi-colored lights radiating off the saber, the fearless robot charged forward. His ambition of peace was still fixated in his soul, his oath to bring forth the unspoken peace that every land held was still echoing through his cold mainframe. It was amazing actually. With just a mere thought, the programming that was stored in Axl’s metal structure changed for the better. His aggressive tone was still burning with a passion for fighting, but he no longer fought for the enjoyment of fighting. His lust for destruction was not his main objective now.

[Xehanort - Event Guest]

Xehanort was watching from the highest tower and pulled the intercom over to himself.

"You have 2 hours to get to a switch and activate the portal, the City will explode around you while you do so." He laughed and switched the self destruct switch to activate.

[Xuan]

Riku shuddered at the sound of Xehanort. The dire situation relayed upon them shook him even more. His face grew stern and angry and he clenched his fist tightly, his veins throbbing madly on his neck. Unable to contain his anger any longer, he shouted madly, "Xehanort!!! You think this is a game? Grr..." There was no time to loose. If they didnt get out of there soon, they would join the afterlife pretty quickly.

All the sudden, the wall beside Riku exploded as he was knocked off his feet by the blast. Completely dazed, he tried to shook of the intense ringing in his head as more parts of the city began to go off. Riku suddenly realised that they've made a grave mistake. We must get out of here, now! He thought impatiently.

They were in a small alley. If this city is exploding itself to pieces, staying here would only do worse because they had absolutely no place to hide. Without looking at his two companions, he yelled, "Come with me! There's no time to loose!" And with that, he began to run like hell's over him.

And it wasn't far from the truth.

Riku knew that his friends would follow, and they were capable of handling their own even when things were so disorientated around them. This is probably the sole reason why he could concentrate fully in his mission to find the switch to the portal.

However, the Nobodies aren't so cooperative. So was the defensive system. Everytime he turned around another corner and so, he would meet up with several Nobodies, a few deadly laser guns pumping out their load, dodging flying rocks that exploded out of nowhere, and seriously -

"Just get out of my way, you annoying freaks!" Riku gritted his teeth as he blocked another crushing blow from a waiting Berserker before slashing its ribs in retaliation. Since he was taking the lead, he was the target for almost every encounter.

I should've scouted this city before, Riku thought miserably as he tried to find something that looked like a switch - which could come in any form and size - I would've known where to find something that looks like a switch, or not wondering every second whether I'm running us around in circles! Deflecting another bolt of laser back to its origin, he ran forwards, praying he wouldn't meet up with another enemy for he would go absolutely berserk if another one pops up.

And then he saw hope. Their hope. He stopped in his tracks as he stared blankly, unable to express his joy and relief.

Axl.

Kameo reverted back to her fairy form and fell to the ground exhausted.

"Bastila" she called looking over at her. "Get us to the portal...I can no longer be of any assistance...I am sorry." She felt her head spin before her as suddenly she fainted right there on the exploding platform. She was putting trust in someone else, and for the first time she wasn't scared.

Sora saw Riku wake up from his sleep. It looned like he was having good dreams through it all, abd now it ws time to get out of hear. The first objective, was to find Axl, and get on our way. The switch was near, they could feel it. The only thing in their path, was Xehanort, and sora was more than ready to take him down. His teammates were all awake, and well rested. Now they were off to go find Axl, and the switch to get out of the city. The buldings were almost sky high, and it was hard to see the very top of them. Was this the time that sora was finally waiting for? Was it time, that he could finally comlete his story for good, and never have to use the keyblade again? He could only hope. But at the same time, hoped it wasn't true. Even though the keyblade has brought endless amounts of darkness in his path, it has also brought him happiness. He's great friends, and they were always going to be here for him. Riku and Naruto were there, waiting for sora to go. And he took his first steps, into finding the switch.

All of a sudden, there was a man who popped out of no where, and was standing on one of the buildings. The man looked strangely familiar, especially to sora. Like he knew who he was almost immeadietely. "Could it be?", said sora. There was one person on his mind, and it was exactly who he was thinking about. The man who had brought all of this darkness to sora all along. The flashbacks, the endless rage, and the deep thinking. It was, Xehanort. But what was he saying? He said that everyone had to hours to find the switch before the city blows into pieces. Then he dissapeared. "Xehanort....... this isn't over", said sora.

Sora dashed away fro the exploding buildings, trying to find a way out of there, but while keeping up with Riku as well. He was already way ahead, and he wasn't slowing down. Sora ket dodging pieces falling from the buildings, and trying to avoid getting zapped by the lasers. All of a sudden, more nobodies popped out of the ground. "Haven't you guys had enough?", said sora. He wasted no time with the nobodies. If they attacked him, he dodged the attacks and slashed right through them. He couldn't get distracted, and couldn't loose track of Riku. "Riku, wait up!", said sora.

Finally, sora caught up with Riku, and they were side by side. Taking a nap before this was the best thing for them to do, because they would surely be to tired if they stayed awake the whole time. Naruto had been following Riku, evey since he had woken up. And with good reason the city was going to explode in 2 hours and they had to find that switch and open up the portal.

Following Riku, Naruto kept and eye out for anything that looked like a switch, while also dodging nobodies and lasers. It wasn't soon before they came across Axl. "Who is this guy?" Naruto asked Sora, but that question was soon driven from his mind, when he looked up and the a switch upon one of the bulidings "LOOK!!!!!!" Naruto yelled pointing. "The switch!" But what Naruto thought was the switch was actually a nobody pretending to be a switch.

Bastila went from battle ready to curious as the being changed into the woman she knew was her ally, somehow. Immediately the explosions started, and Bastila knew Kameo was right. They needed to get out.

Kameo however, was weak. Why should Bastila help her?
She knew though, that the dark power Kameo possessed... That was something she wanted. Something she could use.

She made her decision quickly. This was no time to fight, no matter how much blood she wanted to see. She needed to think about herself. She picked up Kameo, focused force to her feet, then became a blur as she ran. When she could feel no pursuers, she stopped, and channeled her force into farsight, searching for a portal.

There!
One was not too far away, high up on top of a tower. It was not activated however, but Bastila would figure that out later. Running, ignoring the explosions and lasers, she kept going at full speed. Soon she was at the tower.
The tower however, did not stand unguarded.

An army of nobodies, she had seen them before while using farsight, stood at it's base. Bastila didn't have time for them. Her left hand lifted and lightning shot out, burning the nobodies to nothing before they could even react.

The door at the base of the tower was blasted open by Bastila, wood splintering and hinges ripped apart. Once inside she faced one simple stair, spiraling upwards. That made things easier. She ran, and kept on just running, even though her breath was becoming slower, and Kameo felt heavier.
Soon she was at the end, and before her stood two doors. Upon them was different writings.

"Let's see.... 'One door will give you salvation, while the other presents the ro...' What the hell" Her impatience had reached it's limit, and with a powerful blast she destroyed both doors, and even the wall between, leaving both ways open. One contained the portal, unactivated. The other, a switch.

Bastila laughed at the silly riddles. Mindgames was no use when power was in the play. She stepped over to the Switch and turned it on, feeling the power activating from the portal.
She walked over to it, then stepped through, taking both her and Kameo to safety. A plan was already formulating in her mind to what use Kameo could be.

[Xuan]

Riku was just about to call out to Axl when a huge crash sent him flying in mid air. To tell the truth, he had no idea what had happened until he saw where moments before the place he stood was a crumbling mess of steel. He mumbled with a hint of frustation, "Well, ain't that new. Back to -" Riku looked around frantically. He jumped up and down, but he just couldn't find him.

Where is Axl?

"Ugh, this is a terrible blow to our survival, I guess we have only our own Sora, Naruto." As he began to move his feet again, he realised one thing: He simply cannot find the portal if he just roamed around the city like blind chickens.

He needed to think.

Making up his decision, he yelled at Sora and Naruto through the deafening roar of destruction around them, "Protect me for the minute!" There was no need of other words. He trusted himself completely to his companions, and think, ignoring all the rumbling mess around him.

Where is the switch? Riku asked himself, It could be on a wall or something, maybe somewhere near the spot where Xehanort do his dirty jobs, but I could only see buildings falling apart everywhere. Not one stood firm. Then suddenly, he realised something, and it made him excited. It was not yet the truth, but he was very close now.

"It couldn't have been on any of this buildings!" He blurted out as he began to walk in circles, talking outloud, "If the switch is on any of this building, they would've been destroyed by now, which makes no sense at all because Xehanort is not the kind of person who would waste his breath. If he wanted to kill us all he could've just tell us that we're dead. So," His voice dropped lowly as he began to ponder, "Where is the switch? It is not on the buildings around us, definitely not hanging in the sky, so -"

Riku's eyes were wide open. He suddenly realised that the answer was always in front of them. Or rather, underneath them.

"That's it! I should've knew it from the start! This floor! The only thing that's strong enough to hold the switch in place now!" He shouted in excitement. he has finally found his answer. So, back to the question: Where is the switch?

Wait a sec, I think I just saw something back there... Without wasting a heartbeat, Riku ran with all his might, not forgetting to call his friends along 'Come quickly, slowpokes!' as he slashed his way through the rumbles behind him. As he leaped across the final obstacle, he reached to the spot he has been looking for.

Two glowing circles. The switch. A circle that radiated of blue light and the size of a fountain. Both circles were set apart a few metres away from each other.

To Riku, the answer was simple: One person on each circle to open the portal. He stared at Sora before stepping into one of the circles. Almost immediately it changed colours and began to glow green.

"Your turn, Sora. Step into the circle and we'll open the portal."

Not wasting anytime, Naruto followed Riku wherever it was he was going, it seemed he was mistaken, the switch was not on a buliding at all, but underground. He quickly followed Riku, and saw the circle he was standing on, jumping on the other ciclre the portal appeared.

"Come on guys!" Naruto yelled. "Lets get out of here, as he started walking towards the portal.

The announcement of the time limit and the self-destruction of the world was just enough to break the Dark Knight out of his own world of battle. The others all broke apart, leaving the fight in a hurry, anxious to pass on. No one wanted to fight now. Which meant he should do the same, and get out of here.

He ran forward, splitting off from the other two groups that had formed, going on his own with not a care of who he left behind. The destruction was happening, he could feel the pressure of darkness being concentrated. The world wasn't going to simply crumble and collapse. This entire place would simply explode.

The realization of this fearful factor made even Cecil run faster, feeding himself thoughts of future battles and killings to fuel his will to go on. He slowed down, seeing before him a drop in the ground. As he stepped down, ready to see what was underground, a mass of white beings surrounded him, appearing out of nowhere. They were the things he had seen before, except this time they were going to attack.

The Dark Knight grinned with malice, power building up as he fought the feeling to let all of his power go at once. Then, he realized that was best. So that's what he did. "Victim Break," he whispered slowly, feeling the rush of power flow through him as it seemed to explode from every single pore in his skin. It ripped through his veins, burning him and making him scream, though the rocks cracking and the Nobodies destruction made it impossible to be heard.

The explosion of darkness ripped across the ground, travelling to the ends of the Nobodies that had massed together to stop him from reaching his escape. They were completely done for now, leaving Cecil alone, ripped metal and rock all that was left around him. He looked down into what was left of the underground path, and saw that the door had been ripped apart. What lay on the other side was a switch, hanging out in the open air, connected by some rope. He slowly descended down, thinking. Was he supposed to press it? Yes, that was it. But what would happen? He would fall to his death if he tried.

Cecil shook his head. He didn't care. Laughing, he backed up two steps, and leaped over, grabbing onto the large metal switch, letting his body weight pull down the metal handle. As it slowly flipped down, a swirling vortex opened up beneath him, forcing him to let go as the wind ripped through his grip.

With that, Cecil fell, sucked into the portal that led to yet another unknown place.

Naruto looked back at the friends he had made, and knew he would have to figt a least one of them in the next round. "Well" Naruto said "I hope you both make it into the next round, I'll see you there" Naruto smiled as he said this and then he walked into the portal, to the next round.

Sora had heared Riku telling them to defend him for a second, even though that;s what they've been doing the whole competiton. Riku had to think for a while. The switch couldn't be on a building because it would've been destroyed, and that made sennse. Sora had also been keeping a good watch on Xehanort, wherever he was. As much as sora wanted to end all of this that he has done to sora, for good, he couldn't. They had to get out of the city as fast as possible, before the portal closes for good, and the city explodes completely. The buildings were crashing all around sora and naruto. Naruto was watching over Riku while he thought about where the switch was. It was at that time that he knew Naruto was really tryng to help sora. If they he ever got a chance to say it, after all of this, he would want to say he was sorry. Sorry for fighting with him. Sorry for not trusting him. And sorry for being a jerk to him. There was not one thing Naruto wanted to do besides get through that portal. This is really where the expression, "Don't judge a book by it's cover" really comes into play.

Suddenely, sora noticed Riku was calling them over. He wanted them to follow him. Perhaps he knew where the portal was, or maybe he just wanted to kep moving before the towers got worse when falling. Sora noticed that Naruto had already started following him, so sora immeadietely followed him. He saw Riku and naruto jumping and leaping over the obstacles to get to their destination. Sra was not to far behind. But was this the end of the road for sora? Has he convinced the game gods enough for him to go onto the next round? As of right now, they were in the Qurter-Finals, and after this was the Semi-Finals. The first thing he had to do was get through the portal. But with all of the fighting and endless activitys hes done this round, sora was completely confident about going on.

But he wasn't going to worry about that yet. He folloed Riku and Naruto until they came to a stop. Sora had finally caught up, but was completely out of breath. He was panting and holding his knees until he saw two glowing circles on the ground. He knew exactly what they were. Sora heard riku say to step through the portal. And without a word to be said sora, sora took his first steps towards the portal. Before he went through, he turned around and looked at his friends, Naruto and Riku. "Hey guys. Dart might not be here, but lets do this for him, ok? Naruto, i'm really sorry man. You're a good guy, and I hope to see you again some day. Riku, well, i'll catch you on the other side", said sora. Sora turned back around, took a deep breath, and walked trough the portal. Was this the end of sora's adventure? Will he ever get to meet Xehanort? And will riku be there along side with him? Only time could tell.

Apparently Naruto was a really impatient person. Before Sora could even step into the circle, he has taken over the lead and turned it on himself. He couldn't help but smirk a little, after all he was just a teenager.

Am I still a teenager, or have I outgrowned long time ago?

Riku decided not to think about that. A flash of blue, rippling lightning jolted him back to reality as he stared forwards. A powerful and magnificent gateway has been conjured out of thin air as electromagnetic waves flushed by them again and again. The energy generated was simply magnificent! Impossible! Riku gaped in awe at the portal. This was probably the first time he had ever seen such a powerful item.

The awe didn't have time to sink in. Another rockslide has occured and this time it landed right on top of him. In the nick of time, Riku called upon Fire Magic to protect him from danger, "Fire!" And unlike before, this one is scorching even the toughest hell. All the rocks was melted like chocolate before it had a chance to hurt anyone.

"Well, I guess this is... goodbye." He took one last precaution before stepping into the portal. He casted a powerful Reflect spel on both the circles in case any rocks crashed down on them. Without the switches, the portal might not hold, and whoever follows behind would be trapped forever. In the afterlife.

He stepped through the portal without looking back.

A wide verity of multiple noises and sounds echoed through the sudden explosion of the massive base that supported the weight of the Hunter. His thoughts seemed clouded at this time, seeing only death around every corner. Whenever he took a step, his sudden pattern of dull footsteps was interrupted by a horrible explosion. Not even the Nobodies that surrounded his presence could survive the dangerous blasts that erupted from the humungous structures.

“I need to get out of here,” The Reploid spoke, a slight yelp of fear in his voice. “If I don’t get out, I’m going to get blown to ashes!”

With just a mere thought, the robot’s computerized system obeyed the commands that were given to him. The engines inside the young warrior’s feet started to burn quickly, making the boiling metal steam slightly. Then, the jets that dwelled inside his bulky frame ignited, making a ball of flames erupt from the confinements of metal. The tremendous force plowed the metallic frame forward, into the dangerous air that shrouded his being.

With his jets pointing behind his existence, the magnificent force drove him forward, away from the massive flames that were erupting from behind him. This flight, the one that Axl was commanding, was indeed going to be filled with both adrenaline and fight.

The speed that followed his actions was amazing, meaning that his gliding tactic held both creativity and insanity. To the naked eyes, his command would have seemed delayed in the speed he was flying through, but Axl was a robot. His intelligence met no bounce. Flying at the speeds he was working with took little effort, and it indeed took no time at all for his wishes to be answered.

In front of his presences, a dark, mystifying void opened into the nothingness. At his first glance, the essence of darkness was the only source that had been seen, but the archives of his memories did not deceive him. If his programming was correct, the true power of light was being held beyond the abyss of darkness in front of him. But there was only one question the Reploid pondered upon: was this portal like the others? Was the master of these wicked brawls leading them into the next fight, or into a hollow void of darkness?

“I can’t turn back now,” Axl spoke, hearing the loud explosions of hell behind his location. “There’s only one way to find out!”

With his fearsome words spoken, the wisdom that had surrounded Axl’s mind took him to plow forward, and he did. In his incredible speed, the small boy dove forward, into the dark abyss of darkness. And his assumption, that there being a welcoming light at the end of his thoughts, was right. In the matter of seconds, the warmth of the radiate light collided with his metallic body.
