This is what us folks in the US like myself are missing.
I dont understand is why he is so powerful here but when you fight him in Kingdom Hearts II he is so easier when you fight him on Memory Skyskyscraper.
His attacks here can kill you if you are not prepared with Tinkerbell and Elixers along with alot of skill. He makes fighting Sephroith look easy and facing Sephroith is not that easy the first few times you fight him either.
So what do yall think of this boss fight that I heard was supposed to be part of the story.
As far as I know it only signified that the "Enigmatic Man" gave the players something to speculate on before Kingdom Hearts 2 to join the Deep Dive vid. It also meant that Xemnas tested Sora's strength before KH2 to know what he was up against.
If we couldn't "React" in the final battle with Xemnas it would've been much harder lol.

Xemnas didn't even have his drain attack from KH1. I hope they make him harder in KH2:FM+.

that battle looks unreal. i whish i could have a round with him. does anybody know wat the hack hes saying?
o and i think that the reason why xemnes is easier to beat at memory skyscraper is not because he is weaker, but because sora's gotten stronger, .. it makes sense.

well maybe because people then didnt know who the flying [Oh my! I swore!] the unkown was.....so they could make him as strong or weak as they wanted.......and does the name OPTIONAL boss mean anything.......well if it doesnt....it means that those are the hardest bosses

That would make sense and Winged Angel do I hint a bit of annoyance from that post. Not that big a deal.

hmmm....I agree with some posts put here earlier: It would be extremely helpful to know what Xemnas is saying. I also know for a fact that Square looked at how they made KH1 and decided not to make KH2 as hard as that overall.

That is pretty coool.... And riku is right about Xemnas trying to test soras powers. But shouldnt he have remembered him after he woke up in KH II

maybe because it only officially came out in Japan that it might have been taken out or is unimportant enough to leave out.

well what about development. In kh2 sora should be stronger than in kh1, so you'd think he'd be easier. also, we fought him like 3-4 times.

I havent played it... Probably because umm iono anyhow. Cant wait till Final Mix comes out... At least Xemnas isnt boring like before when i fought him in Kingdom Hearts II.

Ive fought Xemnas i remember what he says.
When Goofy says "Ansem"?
Xemnas says thats a familier sound!
And at the end he says let me test your power.
He is tough on this one i even sent Donald and Goofy after him I managed to take 1 and a Half HP off him well Donald and Goofy i was too scared to attack him as he would kill me in 2 hits even Tinkerbell couldn't save me.

I saw him a few times.The reason he is hard there is because Sora was weak when fighting him there.

I started getting to know more of his attacks on Final Mix and managed to take 1 1/2 HP off him but he still killed me.
Im going to try again today i love this Xemnas battle.
This is why Xemnas is easy in Kh2.
1: I think Square-enix wanted to make the game easyer(In Final Mix the Difficultys have been Tweaked up) so Xemnas will be abit harder and his Data battle will be really hard(I Hope)!!!
2: Sora is Stronger yes and Xemnas is weaker because he already got beaten once by Sora lol.
But i dunno i thought Xemnas would have been Stronger in Kh2.
But the Secret battle in Final mix i die in 4 hits(Well 3 but i have Second Chance).

Don't forget too that the Xemnas battle gets harder, the higher a level you play it on KH2. KH2FM has been tweaked as well, to make battles harder.

It is because a boss you have to fight is naturaly not going to be to overpowered, otherwise it will just frustrate the players and they will complain that the game is to hard. However if it is an optional boss it will naturaly be veiwed as more of a challenge or a trophy, and thus people want it to be harder. Likewise you ussualy fight optional bosses after you have beat the game, thus have little to no more plot left. If he was that hard in the final battle of Kingdom Hearts 2, not only would you likely lack the lv needed to beat him when you first got to the World that never was, but it would also prevent you from seeing the ending to the game for a while.
Likewise the Terra battle is really hard on Final Mix 2, in fact I have heard some people say he is harder than Sephiroth.....and I beleive them. Optional bosses will always be harder than regulaur bosses because they are, well, optional.

He IS part of the story in someway, only that it isn't the story of KH, but KHII.

you would die before u could fight cause right when it starts he starts his long combo
