Okay. Kingdom Hearts seems to be full of connections. I remember reading a topic about Birth By Sleep. In either a video, or scan from a magazine, something said "They are all connected by fate.". So, everybody is connected by Fate, eh? That's where Namine comes in. Namine is a witch with powers to manipulate the memories of people and erase, alter and modify them. From a Wikipedia article:
An unlockable teaser at the end of Kingdom Hearts II features three unique characters in armor who hold Keyblades. Their names have been revealed to be Terra (テラ, Tera?), Ven (ヴェン, Ven?), and Aqua (アクア, Akua?), which represent "earth", "wind", and "water"; similar to how Riku, Sora, and Kairi's names can be seen as "land", "sky", and "sea".[17][54] The name "Ven" is a nickname; his full name is Ventus (ヴェントゥス, Ventusu?).[54][55][56] The three characters were in armor primarily to hide their faces until the character designs were completed. Nomura chose armor because he felt he could not use the dark hoods already used in the first Kingdom Hearts's unlockable trailer.[57] Nomura has stated the characters are related to one or more characters already introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series.[58]
Before that post was modify, it said something about Nomura stating that one of the reasons the characters names mean the same thing is because one of them is connected to one or more characters already introduced. Now, that deepens the connection of everyone in Kingdom Hearts. If Terra, Aqua, and Ven are related to Riku, Kairi, Sora, and anybody else in the game, it expands the connection of the characters. Now, getting back to Namine, she can manipulate the memories of people who are connected with Sora, since Namine was made from a piece of Sora's heart when he gave up his heart from Kairi. It seems that Namine is important in these games, not saying that she isn't important. What I'm trying to say is, Namine could have manipulated the memories of the soldiers, or of anybody she wanted to. But that would have taken a little persuasion, like what Larxene did to her. Master Xehanort could have done the same. The timeline doesn't matter at this point, anything is possible with Namine. Your views?
