The Chosen

[Rex]

7:52 the bell rings at Kengen High in Japan. All the students have taken their seats most are still reeling after the weekend. The teacher walks into the class. Classes continued like a normal day until the clock strikes 10:30 a huge object is seen hovering over the school. Every students and teachers look out the window to see the object. Many say that the object looked like a huge Ice cream cone, while others say it looked more like a top. After a couple of seconds of when they noticed the odd object, all the children who were secretly listening to their music in the room threw their iPods and MP3 players to the ground as they covered their bleeding ears, screaming to the short lasting pain, the students on the computer hit the screens as they became fuzzy then just kept turning on and off


Even cars would not start. Many believe that when the huge object appeared it sent an electrical wave that temporally jammed all electronics in the area. The huge objected floated over the school for almost an hour and as suddenly as it appeared it disappeared in a huge bright light. After the incident the school let all the kids go home for the day. For the rest of the day everyone was talking about the object.

Early the next Moring the govenor appeared on the TV and stated that the objected was something the goverment designed to temporally jam any and all devices in a 100 mile radius. Many took this announcement as nothing; other feared that it was not the governments but a terrorist, but others say that it was an alien space ship that came to earth to study the human race.

For three days people never stopped taking about the incident. After the fourth day the student forgot about the huge object. Within the next couple of days most of the students seemed to have strange symptoms on their body and skipped a couple of the days of school. Soon those children revield to have amazing abilities. Some thought they where dreaming while others thought that they could get back at all the bullies in the school. None of them knew that they would write history.

After a while the children started to see visions of a hooded man standing in the middle of a desert. They could see his mouth moving but they could not here the words. After a while the children forgot about the vision until a Year later on the exacted day the huge object appeared over the school. This time all the children saw the hooded man at the same time. He said two words and only two words “Help us”

Suddenly the sky opened up and a massive tornado appeared and to destroy the town. The tornado ripped open the top of the school and all the children who had special powers where sucked into the tornado and as suddenly as it appeared it disappeared. The children where teleported to a different world. When they woke up they had no idea where they were….or what this place was, but for some reason they knew they had to save this land from what ever was trying to destroy it.

Aaron looked over the rock he was hiding behind, "... its that one new senior kid wo just moved in..." Aaron sat back down next to his backpack behind the rock. Rex sighed as he got up and looked around. "What do I do.....nothing makes sence anymore....dose it matter what happens...I'm always alone...so I'm just going to find a tow.....whoa" Rex said as he looked behind him and saw a large city. "I bet they know where I am" Rex said as he started to walk to the city.

Aaron looked to Rex, "WOnder where he's going?" he asked himself, he could feel five feelings of someone poking him with something sharp, and he thought for a moment, 'When my wings sprout there is two sharp feelings... so that means...' his wings shout out as three men in armor were thrown back. He grabbed his backpack and was about to fly when something sharp stabbed him in the back, "Ahh!" he yelled as sparks flew over his skin and he fell to the ground, a young looking man with a spear, hands trembling, looked at the fallen angel.

"Ahh....my head hurts like a mother......" Rex said as he walked tords the city. "it's been weeks since I used my flames....but my power is growing...I need to find a way to let all this power out "I need a new life" Rex said as he flet someone watching him. "But first...I need a weapon" Rex said.

bic: Aaron woke to the sight of mossy prison wall with large thick bars. "Where am I?" he weakly asked the air around him, not expecting the answer he got. "You're in a prson cell," Aaron looked up to see an elder man, sitting on the other side of the cell, hanging from chains. He looked at his own hands which were also chained to the walls.

"Why am I here?" he asked the man, looking for his backpack, "And where is my manga!" he yelled.

"Well, I think you were imprisoned for wearing that strange clothing of yours," he coughed out as he started coughing more.

Aaron looked at his clothing, it was large back jeans with a brown belt, a T-shirt with the words 'Believe it!' on it, and tennis shoes. He looked at the old man and sw that he wore brown worn our cloth with pants of the same materiel.

Rez stands up and slowly walks out of the ally way humming loudly he walks by some shops and walk up to a small food stall "Hey... can I get a few peaches?" The stall worker hands him a bag and Rez hands over a small roll of cash "...." He continues ot walk throught the city till he gets to the ceter of the city and just stands there humming

Aaron had shot a feather and cought it in his hand and was now trying to slice through the chains, "Why you in here old man?" he asked as sweat beat down his face, "You do stole some bread or what?"

The man was silent for a while, "...I killed a man with nothing but my bare hands... not just any man... my own brother..." he said as he bursted into tears.

"... I'm so sorry..." Aaron said as he stopped for a few seconds from cutting the chains then soon continued and broke free from one. "Got it!" he said as he started on the other then broke free, then headed towards the man with the feather.

"No leave... I deserve to be here," he cried as Aaron paused then sliced the cage with his wings, "... Why not take my life... angel of death..." the old man said to himself.

Minori Kamio walked through the large city scapes while thinking about random things that crossed her mind, such as "Why do birds fly in such a unique pattern? Or-" she stopped thinking when she came across a jail cell with a man with wings like an angel stepped out. She cocked her head to one side with a wry expression on her face and said aloud, "I thought that I was the only one like that..." and she sprouted her own blood-red wings unexpectedly. Her face became flustered as she tried to make them go back to their regular un-noticeable position, yet they refused to.

She looked up to see the guy staring at her, and her cheeks flushed red.

Aaron looked at the girl, '... Miniri...' "What are you doing here, don't you go to my school?" He looked behind her and saw several guards about to launch what looked like tranquilizers, "Look out!" he said as he grabbed a backpack near the cell and tackled her and flew away just as soon as they fired their weapons. They looked up to the angel with metalic wings. "Why are we here? what happened to the school?" he asked her, so many questions rushing through his head.

ooc: Nothing, I got captured by sodiers and then escaped from a jail cell and saved That one girl from getting shot with tranquilizers and now I am doing this...

Bic: Aaron just dropped the girl in a pile of hay and flew on as more and more soldiers came out forming a line, then they all fired to Aaron, "What do you want!" he yelled at them.

"Shot down the demon!" one of the yelled as they all shot towards Aaron. Arows were zooming though the air. None of the hit him, bit one clanked against his wing and broke, "... I have an Idea!" he whispered to himself as he turned around. Holding his backpack close to his chest he noes dived to the soldiers. His wings hugged around him as they fromed a large metal sphere, and spiriling out of control he slammed into the soldiers, making a large explosion.

The soldiers were scattered every where and out of the smokey crater came Aaron, who went to his knees and vomited, "Oh god... that is the last time I am doing that!" and he vommited a little more and got back to his feet and looked around him to see all the soldiers, unconcious. Then he saw sevearl towns folk.

"That man... no... that angel has defeated the soldiers!" one of them yelled happily as they all crowded around Aaron and lifted him up high, "Our hero! Our gurdian angel!" they yelled as they carried him off to a large building.

[Rex]

Rex walked around the city looking at all the stands. "Nothing looks good....why can't they have a weapon stand" Rex said as he looked down a alley to see a lonly stand. "I wounder what this is" Rex said as he walked down the alley. "Welcome my dear...and what are you looking for" an old women asked. "I'm looking for a weapon...a sword mostly" Rex said. "well...this sword is calling to you" the old women said as she handed him a sword in a purple sheath. "How much" Rex said as he looked up. the stand was gone and the sword was laying on the ground. "Oh well her loss" Rex said as he picked up the sword.

Aaron was sitting at a large dinner table as many people huddled around him. He had gotten new clothing to match that of the oter villagers, "Thank you very much but I can not take all this, its to much..." then he looked at all the starving faces, "... Everyone... you can all eat this!" He yelled as the children just leaped to the food.

"BUt our guardian angel..." all the people looked at the children and back to the empty seat that Aaron was in. He had flew out and open window, everyone could see him flyig away.

[Rex]

Rex stood on top of a roof as the wind blew through his hair. "Nothing makes sence....I get teloported here....and yet I feel like I've been here before....maybe in a past life.....I don't know" Rex said as he sighed and looked down at all the people.

Aaron stood on the roof of a building, using a feather to peal a mango he got from a tree near the entrance of the city, "Wonder where I am..." he said as he looked around, as he has done so many times before. "Oh well," he sighed as he bit into his mango, juice dripping from it and falling to the ground. "He shoved his hand into the opened backpack full of many different manga. He pulled out 'Fullmetal Alchimast 1' "... Odd choice," he whispered and began reding it and took another bite of his mango, and on the next building over was a high schooler also on a roof top.

Minori appeared behing Aaron and said, "To answer your question from before, yes. I do go to your school. And nothing has happened to it...I just left for a bit. And here I am." She glanced from rooftop to rooftop, watching the villagers hang clothes on a line and kids playing in the sand. "Thanks from before, too." Her blood-red wings' feathers fluttered in the wind, giving off a red aura glowish appeal to them. She glanced down at Aaron's metal ones and said, "Where did you get those. Market?"

"Not in the slightest," he said as the wings folded and they just went inside his back, leaving two slice marks in the back of his new clothing, "Well," he said putting away his manga and finishing the last part of his mango, "My wings are real," he said as he picked up his backpack and walked to the edge, wingless, and he just leaned forward and let himself fall off the eleven story building. "Bye... for now," he said as he fell.

[Misuzu]

Minori scrunched her face in question staring at how his wings folded so easily into his slender back. Metal wings...? She'd never seen that in her life...nevertheless seen ANY other wings on humans either. She just shrugged and flew off the building, above the clouds, thinking of where to go next.

"Wondering where to go next?" Aaron was flying upside down under Minora, metal wings out stretched and a feather in his mouth, "I was thinking about that too," he said as he pulled out a manga, 'Bleach 25, "But I got over it, and now I have no idea what to do," he said. "Maybe you can help me," he looked up from his Manga, "You know where we are?" he asked then looked around, "Cause I don't think we're in Japan anymore," and he flipped right side up and flew next to Minora.

"Exactly." she replied, taking a quick glance at him and then setting her gaze upon what lie ahead of her. "Quite honestly, I have no clue as to where I--We are." she looked back at Aaron and examined his metal wings. "I thought I was the only one..." she sighed, not specifying what she meantas her long strawberry-red hair flowed with the wind.

"To tell you the truth, these things just exploded out of my back once and eversince then I could bring them out when ever I want," he said and then looked at a cloud, "Come to think of it... How can I fly when the weight of the wings obviously extends how much force I create when I flap them. At a scientific stand point I should be falling to the ground right now, but here I am, like an angel..." 'Just like everyone calls me,' he thought to himself. "How'd you get your powers?" he asked as he started reading his manga again.

Minori looked down at the city, then around herself and flipped onto her back as if the air was her bed. She crossed her arms around her head and replied, "I don't know. I've had these wings ever since I can remember, and I still cant control them to fold into my back, or come out. It annoys me." she stared up into the broad sky and snapped her fingers, creating a small flame. "I always thought of myself as some freakshow." she admitted, her face becoming hard.

He looked up from his book, "Well, like I said, I got my powers around when the giant thingy 'attacked' out school," and then he plucked a feather off of his left wing, "And now I have these things," he plucked a hari and sliced it down the middle with the feather he had in his other hand, "Sharp as the devil's tail these things are," he said. A shriek could be heard from the ground.

Minori's eyes swiftly glanced down to the sullen earth and said, "Let's go down." she nodded, and ascended downwards, and followed the voice of the shriek. What could be going on here? This seems like such a peaceful town.. The thoughts rushed through her head as she finally reached the ground, with Aaron dropping beside her. She looked around, trying to find the person in need.

Guards were surrounding several people, "Now people we just want the taxes, so just give it. It is not for us, but the king," and then one man stepped forward, "Oh, look at this one, think you can handle us all?" the guard asked.

"No, But I will not let you harm these people, Screw the king!" he yelled then several shots were heard and the man fell to the ground, his eyes white. He was gone. A young woman about the same age as the man leaped forward as two other men held her back, "No! You killed the man I love!" he yelled, and then the men were about to fire another shot from their rifels until all the berrals were sliced in half by several metal feathers.

"How dare you take a life, he was a defencless man, damn it!" and Aaron could be seen high in the air. He pointed his wings to the ground and shot hundreds of feathers slicing through the men, being careful not to kill them.

They were all now nailed to the ground as he landed by the villagers, "... Do what you will with them, just don't kill them..." the moment those words came out of his mouth the previous woman ran forward, grabbed a rifle and pointed it to one of the men that shot her paramour.

[Rex]

Rex sighed as he looked around at the soldiers surrounding him. "you guy's really don't want to mess with me....I'm not in the mood to play games" Rex said as the soldiers got closer. "Fine....be that way" Rex said as flames appeared around his body.

[Deadeye]

Cara was hunting for deer. she hadn't eaten anything in 2 days so her body was growing heavy, She dragged her legs to the ground leaving a strange track that would scare mst animals away if they noticed it. She didn;t care she would eat anything right nowbut her luck changed as she krepy behind a rock she saw a white tailed deer. Cara let out a mile as she licked her lips "dinner time" she placed her hand on the ground saying a few word as she rubbed her hands in the dirt. She crawled around the forest to get on th opposite side of her prey with a quick yelp the deer ran for her trap. Aaron flew through the air, passing through the clouds. Once ha came out of a large cloud he was completely soaked in water, his wings drenched. "... Didn't know they were made out of water," he said as he bent his wings into his back and he nose dived to the ground, his eyes closed and just he extended his arms wide and let the air pass by him. His wings exploded out of his back withing the last moments of being in the air right before he reached a building.

Aaron could be seen over the festival, wings extended and a manga in hand. "Where is he!" he yelled as he searched through the crowds from up above. It was full to the brim with manga and some notbooks. "Who are you?" he asked as he looked down to the person he tackled.

When he landed all his feathers were gone and he was rolling on the ground, steel skeletons for wings next to him.

His mouth was moving but he couldn't hear him, bu suddenly he did heard him, "Please help us all..." his voice faded just as he took off his hood, but Aaron was back in the festival, crowded by people, then he fell unconcious.

He slowly walked away then slammed into a pole since he was looking at his book.

Come on, we shoudl take you to a doctor or something," he said as he slowly got to his feet and extended one hand to help her get off the seat and the other to get his backpack.

"It'll heal up soon...I just wonder why its bleeding black instead of red...strange." she said, sighing and staring at the sky. "I hate not being able to fly."

She was annoyed about her wing being messed up, but enjoyed the fact that she was going to be in the sky again. "I'm not too heavy for you...am I?" she asked slowly with a tint of red to er cheeks.

His wings flapped a little faster and they were both off the ground, "Not at all," he smiled and then his wings started flapping harder and soon they were zooming through the air, passing the clouds. "You Ok like this?" he said as he held Minori a little coser to him so that he won't accidentily drop her, "Or do yo wanna go back down?" he asked as he looked at birds flying in a V formation.

"This feels great!" she said, loving the breeze hitting her face while they were in the air. "I mean...flying.." she said feeling awkward. "I do wonder why birds fly like that..." she mumbled, trying to hide her embarrassment.

Aaron could feel his bag lop to the side and he shoved it a little so that it was balanced on his back again, then he looked back to the birds, "Who knows," he whispered as he looked forward again and they immediatly went through a cloud, then they came out te other end a little wet, "... Well... sorry about that," he said with an emmbarising smile then looked forward, making sure not to fly into another cloud. 'Oh god I cna't belive I just did that!' he thought to himself.

Minori giggled a little and said, "Nah, that's fine," she said with a smile, "Even though fire doesn't mix with water." she grinned. Makes me feel weaker... she thought, then shaking it off. Aaron looked at her, she looked like she was about to faint, "I think we should land now." Aaron looked around for a few seconds then saw a nice tall building, "There we go," he said when he landed. "I noticed," he smiled back and then walked away, "I'll be right back, I'm gonna get you something to eat." He started running and then he jumped into the air as his wings exploded out.

He landed infront of a resturant, "Hey, can I have..." he lookedbehind the large man behind the counter, no register at all. "... Can I have two specials for today," he said with a smile and the man left and returned with two large turkey legs, "... Thank you?" he said as he reached into his pocket and relized he was wearing the clothing that the villigers gave him after he fought the guards, "Uh Oh..." then he pulled out three gold coins, "... will this cover it?" and the man snatch the coins and went out to the back and Aaron just left and flew back to Minori.

"That was quick." Minori said, sitting with her knees up to her chest with her head on her knees--how she usually sat. "I hate water..." she mumbled, and looked at the turkey legs. "Those things are huge!" she said with wide eyes. "What are they...?" she then asked slowly, examining the food items with her maroon eyes.

Aaron passed his fingers through his short red hair and picked up his own turkey leg and examined it as well, "I think its a dinosour leg..." he took a large bit out of is and when he ripped off the meat steam came out. The muscles in his face clenched as his muffled voice said "Hot! Hot, hot, hot, hot!" and he painfully swallod the bite of meat and then gave a sigh of relief... then repeated the process... just without the pain.

Rex felt both his hands burn as he laid on a bench watching the sky. "I know...I know.....you want out but your not coming out....this is the only reason why I hate these powers...the woken up something inside of me that was trapt.....damn them...damn the to hell" Rex said. suddenly he saw a vision of the hodded man....it looked like he was standing in the middle of a city....then he saw other hooded people...then he saw what they where in the city for. a dragon flew out of the sky and attacked the city. Rex then came back to where he was and looked around. "Damn it...what do these visions mean....and why do I feel like looking for princes all of a sudden" Rex said as he sat up.

Minori laughed at Aaron while his face turned red. "Dinosaur leg? Really?" she asked with a childish tone. She took the other turkey leg from his hand and first hesitated, and took a large bite and ripped off the excess strings. "You think its hot?" she asked after she swallowed the first bite. It seems on the warm side of slight coldness to me...then again...it may be because of my body tempurature...it's 120 degrees." she said without making a face, since it was normal body heat to her. She turned the leg over twice and took another bite. "It's very good, though."

Rex sat up and jumped up onto a roof top. "I guess I should find a place to crash for the night....man it's so cold it's not even funny...to think I use fire and yet the only thing I feel is cold.....I must be losing my mind" Rex said as he jumped from roof top to roof top. Yuna walked through the festival and decided she'd had enough. It was great fun and all...but she wanted to see life outside of this city. She pulled her hood more over her face and walked out of the festival activity spots and after a dozen or so minutes, she was at the city gates. Loaded with guards. She sighed, "Isn't there anywhere I can go without people seeing me?" she said aloud, but quietly though so only she could hear herself. She grumbled, and started towards the gates anyway.

Rex stopped on the roof of a food stand. "I guess I'm going to head home" Rex said as he jumped onto the edge of the wall. He then jumped down to the outside of the city. "Lets find a place to Crash" Rex said as he walked towards the desert.

Rex stopped in front of a cave that looked like a dragons mouth. "This place looks good" Rex said as flames appeared in his right hand and he walked in. "With my light It's pritty bright....but this place feels like home" Rex said as he sat aginst a wall and let the fire go out

the figure in the hocky mask smiled as he walked around the city. Aaron looked up to the sky, "Did you here that?" he said then after a long pause, "Forget it," and he sighed and threw away the two pieces that were his turkey leg into the trash, "Wonder what to do now?" he said out loud and then looked to his shoes, the only thing he had left that was from his original clothing.

"I know how to get everyone attention" the figure said as he aimed his hand at the top of the castle. "Boom" the figure said as he shot a bolt of lighting at the top of the castle. Suddenly the top exploded and giant chunks of the castle fell to the ground. "This should get their attention" the figure said smiling.

Rex walked out of the cave and looked at the city. "Someone attacked the castle....shit...Princes!!" Rex said as he grabbed his sword and ran towards the city. "I got a funny feeling I might find some of the others" Rex said.

He let out four weak words, along with a smile, "... That... all... You got?" and he bent his legs low and he zoomed through the air, going so fast he made a sonic boom. He thought he felt his ears bleeding after the sonic boom, and then just tried to ignore it as he got closer and closer to Rex by the milisecond. Even though he was going faster than the speed of sound, to Aaron it felt like everything was moving slow, like a dramatic scene in a movie. Aaron finally made contact with Rex and they both were sent hurtiling to the oter side of the city. A large explosion sound was heard all over as the two slammed into the giant wall. Aaron stood after the crash and walked a few feet, now he was gripping his other arm, which was now twisted in a way an arm should bend. After a couple of steps he fell to the ground unconcious.

"So who should be first....the one with the wings.....or him" the figure said as he looked at Rex. "I have to stop him!" he mumbled and lifted his wing and pointed it to the man. Then Aaron looked at his arm and saw that all his feathers were gone. "... Her hand moved forward as if she were pushing something, and on the ground could be seen a bubble. It went to Aaron's left arm and it immediatly returned to normal.

"You have the power to make your self invisivle...I want it" the figure said. hsi hand was on the top of her head. suddenly blue enargy flowed from her body to his arm. her legs started to turn pure white ans the color rose to her chest and finally to her head. her eye's changed to pure white. the figure let go and the girl fell to the ground. she was not breathing. she soon turned to dust. "How wounderfull...that felt so much better" the figure said laughing.

She decided to save the questions for later and looked down at the picture with a frown on her face. "I think I know who that is..." she said lowly, staring into the eyes of the person in the picture.

"I'm guessing that was the freak in the hockey mask, then." Minori said, staring at who Rex called, Nails. She felt like she knew him from somewhere...or maybe she neevr did. But the majority of her mind kept tracking back to when she was dropped off at the orphanage...wait...she did know him.

"I think I know him--Nails." Minori spoke, remebering that day.

Young Minori shook as she sat in the rain, huddled against a wall in the dark streets of the city. A young man approached her, and bent over to look her in the eyes. "Are you lost?" she asked with a smile.

"N-no. My mommy left me here two days ago, and I'm waiting for her to come back." young Minori said, shaking cold. "But she said she'd be back in an hour. Mommy lied to...me."

The man smiled at her, and held out his hand. "I don't think she'll be coming back...let me take you somewhere warmer. Come with me." he said.

"O-okay." Minori said, gripping his warm hand and standing up. He picked her up, put his coat around her cold body, and took her to the orphanage she'd lived for so many years.

Young Minori shook as she sat in the rain, huddled against a wall in the dark streets of the city. A young man approached her, and bent over to look her in the eyes. "Are you lost?" she asked with a smile.

"N-no. My mommy left me here two days ago, and I'm waiting for her to come back." young Minori said, shaking cold. "But she said she'd be back in an hour. Mommy lied to...me."

The man smiled at her, and held out his hand. "I don't think she'll be coming back...let me take you somewhere warmer. Come with me." he said.

"O-okay." Minori said, gripping his warm hand and standing up. He picked her up, put his coat around her cold body, and took her to the orphanage she'd lived for so many years.

Rex said as he sat aginst a wall. "Damn it....blood's not stopping...should have know my fire power was nit that strong enough" Rex said as he took out a bag and took out some bandages. "Good thing I found this bag" Rex said as he started to wrap his chest with the bandages. "Oh well" Rex said as he cosed his hand and the cave went pitch black.

Minori had changed into a short denim skirt and a pink tank top with a turquoise hoodie to keep the water off her hair. "Damn rain..." she sighed, holding her white umbrella over her head. She warmed herself up by turning up her body heat to 125 degrees, making her hair dry from all wetness and her skin warmed. She then remembered Aaron, and said, "Crud...I forgot I left him by himself!" she then ran the opposite direction to meet up with him at the bench they were at before Nails came.

"Nails...I'm such an idiot..." she mumbled, shaking off thoughts of that demon.

Aaron walked around slowly, a manga in hand. He didn't care what it was, he wasn't even reading it. He was looking for the girl. "Where is she?" he mumbled to himself as he continued onward. "Maybe I should stop and go see how that Minori girl is doing," he said as his wings expanded, two sheaths holding his swords directly under the base of the wings. He took off, and behind a cart, the black haired girl hid, atching him fly away, water surrounding her hands like a bubble.

Minori waited by the bench, out of breath and bent over to catch her breath. She tilted her head upwards and looked around for Aaron. "I guess he left, then.." she sighed, still depressed about finding out Nails's true intentios all along. For once in my life...I wish there was at least one person who cared about me. Just one...that's be great. She was dlost in thought when the rain cleared up, and the sun peeked out from the gray skies, making it humid out. "Aaah...thats so much better." she said, putting her hands in the pockets of the hoodie and closing the umbrella.

The wind blew softly and a grey flash zoomed passed Minori, and from the flash someone quickly said, "Hi Minori!" before slamming through a large stack of hey, then through a broken wagon, then finally slamming into a wall. Aaron merly said Ow and began sliding down from the wall and fell to the ground. He stood up rubbing his head, "God that hurt," he said as he rubbed his head, "... Hi Minori... Again." he said with a smile and he waved as he began walking to her, his wings going back into his back, leaving the two large scars in the shape of a V.

Minori laughed subtly and brushed back her pink-red hair from her face. "Good job." she added, pointing out the wagon and things that got out of place and/or destroyed from Aaron. She then placed her hand on a section of the bench that was wet and it instantly dried, then she sat on it, in her usual position with her knees up to her chest. She stared at the ground.

Rex walked out of the cave and smeled the fresh wet grass. "Wounderful smell....looks like I need to head into town again to find medical supplys" Rex said as he walked towards the city. Rex reached the city. his wound getting worse with every second. "Damn it" Rex said as the blood dripped from the blood stained cloth. "I need to find some medical supplys and soon" Rex said as he looked around the city. the blood was leaving a tail of blood on the ground.

Yuna was wandering around in the desert for what seemed like hours until she came upon the oasis...or what was left of it. "What the hell! I came all this way for nothing?!" she yelled, kicking the remians of a dead plam tree. She sighed, and said to herself, "Calm down, Yuna. Forget it. Just head back to town or-" she then remembered a flash of Rex in her mind. "Why am I thinking about him...he's a brat." she told herself, walking back to the city. But she couldn't help but sense something was wrong. "I'll just...see how his wounds are, I guess." she said aloud, and flashed in front of him.

She examined the wound that was bleeding terribly, and said, "I thought you said you healed easily." se said, her arms crossed. She peered behind him and then added, "You're leaving blood everywhere."

Minori sighed, and looked down at her feet. "Someone that I knew my whole life until I was nine that I thought cared about me turned out to be a mass murderer..." she paused, choked by tears welling up in her eyes. "And wants to kill me too." Uh..." he tried saying somthing as he saw her still crying, "..." he then just scooted closer and wrapped his arms around her, "... It's ok..." 'What am I doing!' he thought to himself, '... I want her to stop crying... to make her pain go away but I don't know how...' he just stayed like that for a few seconds...

As he hugged her warm body she stopped crying and wiped away her tears. She glanced uo at him and said, "I haven't felt that in eight years." she said, refrerring to the embrace he gave her. She smiled, and said, "I'm not burning you?" Since her body tempertaure was 120 degrees, she expected him to be burning by now. I wonder why he decided to hug me...a nobody in this world, where no one cares about me.

Aaron lifted one of his arms to see if it had burned. It burned alright, right through his clothing and his skin... to reviel a leyer of metal underneath. "... No I'm fine..." he said as his skin slowly covered up his metal as his eyes widened, "... Perfecctly fine..." he said as he set his arm down on Minori again.

Minori glanced back up at him and smiled. "Thank you." she said, and hugged him back. She didn't know what inside her made her do this, but it felt good to have contact with someone...after all those years. The only other contact she ever had was Nails doing the same...she shook off the thought and erased it from her mind. She then wiped her eyes with her sleeve and looked around, to see a group of people staring. "Umm...those people...they're staring." She found it quite funny, since they were probably staring at their wings.

Aaron turned to the people and noticed his wings had come out of his back without his knowledge, "... How... never mind..." he said as he slowly let go of Minori and stood up, new skin replacing the old wiithin a second. "You wanna go get something to eat?" he said as his wings spread a little bit, prepairing for flight, "I think your wings are fine now... Unless you still want me to-... never mind, do you wanna go get something ot eat or not?" he said with a warm smile, his swrods visible beneath his wing joints.

Minori stood up as well and caught him trying to fly holding her again. She giggled, and looked at her wing. It was completely healed, and she nodded. "Yeah, I'm starving." she said, preparing to take flight. She looked around at the people, gave them dirty looks, and followed Aaron into the sky.

It didn't have any effect on her eyes since the sun was her source of energy and power. She looked at its brightness and sighed. "One day, I'm living on the sun. Aaron simply looked at his metalic wings and shrugged, "I don't think I can because I'll just melt away along with my metal," he sighed, "... LWts go eat there," he said as he pointed to a place called 'The Monster's den, "... On second thought..." he began to say.

Minori shrugged, "You probably would...but my body can take it. It can adjust to the hottest things ever. " she said, tearing her gaze from the sun to the place he pointed at. When he then didnt want to, she asked, "On the second thought what? Why not?" she wore a confused look on hr face.

"... Pretty sure thats a bar... but what ever," he said as he shrugged and noes dived to the place. He landed softly infront of the door, his wings just inserted themelves inside his back, leaving his two scars. "... Alright... Lets go in..." he said as he placed one hand on one of his sword's handles. he opened to the door and then it was what he expected. A large bar full of big tough looking men and a lady standing behind the counter. "... Knew it," he whispered to himself as he slowly walked in.

"We can go somewhere else, If you want." Minori whispered, folding in her wings like he did and hiding them in her hoodie. She glanced around from area to area, and everyone turned to stare. She gulped and shifted closer to him. "Are we even allowed in here? We're only sixteen year olds..." she said lowly.

Yuna was wandering around in the desert for what seemed like hours until she came upon the oasis...or what was left of it. "What the hell! I came all this way for nothing?!" she yelled, kicking the remians of a dead plam tree. She sighed, and said to herself, "Calm down, Yuna. Forget it. Just head back to town or-" she then remembered a flash of Rex in her mind. "Why am I thinking about him...he's a brat." she told herself, walking back to the city. But she couldn't help but sense something was wrong. "I'll just...see how his wounds are, I guess." she said aloud, and flashed in front of him.

She examined the wound that was bleeding terribly, and said, "I thought you said you healed easily." se said, her arms crossed. She peered behind him and then added, "You're leaving blood everywhere."

"... You we should go..." he said as he turned around. As he did so allt he bug guys in there stood up and pushed their chairs under the tables. "... Come on..." he said then they all began walking to the two. "... Can We help you?" he asked without turning around.

One of the men went up to Aaron, "You think you're to good for our place! Hu?!" he yelled as he tore off Aaron's backpack, "And what the hell are these!?" he said as he took out manga after manga, throwing each to the graound.

The thuds of the book felt like punches to the stomach for Aaron. "... You better pick those up... or else..." he said, still without turning around.

all the men looked at him then they all busrted out laughing, "What you goin' to do, boy!" the man that threw the books down yelled, "You can't do anyth-" and then he was punched in the stomach. The man fell to his knees and then Aaron jumped over him and grabbe the man's arms, pressing his legs against the man's back. He pushed with some strnegth and the man yelled in pain.

a popping noise could be heard and the man yelled in a howl of pain. All the other men pulled out a weapon and charged to Aaron as he pulled out his swords.

Minori didn't turn around until she heard a fight going on, and then someone throwing Aaron's books to the ground. "Bad choice..." she muttered, then stifled a giggle when a man got punched in the stomach. She decided to help Aaron out and she streched out her hand, a large blue and red flame appearing. "Wanna play with fire?" she asked three men that were staring at her.

Yuna answered, "I might not understand anything about you, but I do care if your hurt. There's no reason for you to be in that condition." she said, eyeing his wound. "You should care too. And...I did find the stupid oasis. Its nothing but dried up palm leaves and a cracked hole."

Aaron did a back flip off of the man's back, now crying in pain from his dislocated shoulders. In midair Aaron pulled out his swords. So did all the other men. "Lets go," he said with a smile and two men charged at him, swinging their swords. Aaron swung his swrods at theirs, slicing them both in half. The men stared in awe at their now sliced swords, then were both knocked out by Aaron hitting them in the back of the head with his sword handles. "Let the bodies hit the floor," he said, quoting his favorite song.

"I'm not as much use to protecting myself, either. You saw what happened. He can read my every thought. Even if I did surpresse him, he will find a way to destroy me, anyway. So I'd rather have you there to at least send him on his tracks again." Yuna said, looking back up at him. "Who cares what you are...inside everyone is the same. And please, stop calling me princess. I have a name. I dread that title..." she sighed, looking around and pulling her hood up over her head again.

Minori released a smirk and then threw her hands in a circle, creating an enormus ring of fire. She then winked sarcastically at a man and surrounded the men in it. "Bye." she said, and then the ring clasped them in, squeezing the life out of them and burning them at the same time. The large flames hit their legs, and one begged for mercy. She rolled her eyes and then with a flick of her wrist, the flame dis-ignited, sending the men falling to the ground in pain and groaning.

Aaron looked around the room and let out a long whistle, "Wow, we took care of them now didn't we?" he said with a toothy smile. "... If you still wanna eat, we could eat here." he said as he looked to Minori, "... Or we could just go," he said and then just stood there waiting for a response.

"I'd rather go someplace else..." she started, and glanced at a man starting to get up. She then shot a flame at his face, and he hunched over, stopping getting up. "This place is weird." She then smirked at their doings, and started out the door after Aaron.

Aaron quickly ran back in and got all his manga. Before he left he went top the guy who threw them to the ground and kicked him in the stomach. He went out and cought up with Minori. "Well, what should we do now?" he asked as he made sure he had all his manga in his bag.

"I dont really know." She said, then her stomach grumbled and she looked around for another open place to get some grub. "Ooh..that Ramen place looks appeasing..." Her eyes brightened at the thought of some hot noodles. Her stomach growled louder this time and she clutched her abdomen to stop it. "...Sorry..." she said, her face turned brigt red.

Aaron pretended he didn't hear anything, "Why are you sorry?" he asked as an even louder sound came from his stomach. "... Oh..." and he continued to walk to the ramen shop. "Wonder what to get," he said to himself as he sat on one of the high stools. "... One bowl of Spicy chiken, please!" he yelle as a small elderly asian man came from behind a curtain, and in a very strong japenese accent said, "Coming right up!" and he went back into the curtin and sh outed something in japenese, apperantly to the cook.

Minori laughed a little aty themselves as she sat on another stool next to Aaron. As the little asian man came back to take her order, she answered, "One bowl of extra-extra spicy beef noodles, please. Make it as hot as it can possibly get. And a very hot cup of jamine tea." she smiled at the man, and he gave her a surprised look on his face. "I like things hot." she said, shrugging as he nodded and shouted to the cook. She then leaned on her elbows, waiting for her food.

The little asian left and came back a few moments later, "Spicey chiken and Spicy beef!" he said as he layed the bowls infront of the two.

Aaron looked at his bowl then at Minori's, "... uh..." he then grabbe dhis bowl and then switched it with Minori's. "There we go!" he yelled as he grabbed a pari of chopsticks and then snapped them down the middle. He grabbed a long noodle and slurped it all in his mouth.

"Wasn't that one mine?" Minori asked Aaron while watching him slurp the noodles and she broke her chopsticks into two even sticks. She looked down at her noodles and realized these WERE Aaron's, and before he ate any more she said, "Umm...those are mine. See? This one in front of me has chicken...Uh-oh." she giggled, waiting for his mouth to catch fire.

Aaron looked to her then, then the noodles she had which had two chiken legs in it, then he looked to his red liquid filled bowl with the slices of beef in it. "... Ahh!" he yelled as he fell to the ground, squeezing his neck as if to stop the raoring flame in his mouth. He quickly stood up and yelled something in Japenese and the old man ran out with a liquid. Aaron snatche dit out of his hands and then drank it all in one go. He stood there breathign for a little bit then gave the cup back to the old man, "Domo arigato!" he said as he bowed to the man and satback down, "That was close." he said to himself.

"Yuna. That's my name...sorry, I thought I told you before." she said, kicking the water in the puddle in front of her. She looked back up at him and saw he was smiling. She wore a confused-frown look on her face as she asked, "What are you smiling about?"

"I really don't know.....I've been along for as long as I can remeber and everyone around me always walked past me...but no matter how bad it got, how lonly I got I always felt like someone out there really cared from me....I'm not sure how to explain it....but that same feeling is happening again" Rex said.

"Care to go further?" Yuna smiled back, and looked at her feet, feeling her cheeks turn pink. She felt them and pulled her hood more over her head so he wouldn't see anything.

Minori stopped laughing and switched their bowls. She then started eating the noodles, slurping with a smile still on her face and she swallowed. "Mmm...just the way I love it." she looked to her right and saw the asian man staring. In broken English, he said, "How you eat noodle no burn?" Minori laughed and waved off. "It's just the way I am." she said, winking at Aaron. She slurped some more noodles and then said, "How does your throat burn when eating these? I barely feel any hottness. It feels warm, yet delicious."

"Care to go further?" Yuna smiled back, and looked at her feet, feeling her cheeks turn pink. She felt them and pulled her hood more over her head so he wouldn't see anything.

"Well...I'm not sure.....must be that taco I had earlyer" Rex said as he leaned agints a wall. "hay...yuna was it....do you know any good medical shops I can find some supplys" Rex said. "W....why is your hood up...it's not raining" Rex asked

Aaron just sat back down, "... well... For the fact that I have no such powers of fire, I can't really handle that," he said as he took out a chiken leg and ate a large bite out of it. "Very." she agreed in between slurps, then eating some of the juicy and tender beef. She slurped up some more noodles and then said after she swallowed, "...I wonder...what is going on back at the school. How long has it been?" she asked, then returned to her noodles.

"...I dont...um...want people to see my true identity. The guards will take me back to that dreaded castle again, and I'll never see daylight in my life." she said, relieved she thought of that. Aaron looked at his watch, the only thing other than his backpack and shoes he had left from the other world, "... Two and a half hours," he said as he continued eating, "... Feels a hell lot longer than that," and he finished all the noodles and then held the bowl to his mouth and drank the soup.

"It definetly does." she said, the tilted the bowl so that the red liquid seeped down her throat. "Mmm...that hit the spot." she said, then the man came back with the bill. Minori's eyes widened when she realized she'd forgotten - She had no money. "Oh...perfect..." she mumbled, hiding her face in her hands.

Yuna rolled her eyes and still kept up her hood. "Never hurts to be safe." she said, walking closer to him. "This might hurt a bit...but at least it'll close the wound." she said, taking out a small bottle of a purple liquid. She poured it into her hand, and then it floated above it in a ball. She held it to his open flesh, and the liquid completely covered it, and it glowed a dark aura. She lowered her hand, and then the skin started to slowly stretch over the wound.

Aaron dug into his pockets and took out several gold coins. "Korede," he said as he handed the coins to the old man. He bowed and Aaron did the same as he lifted his backpack and stood at the door, "You coming or what?" he said with a smile.

Yuna rolled her eyes and still kept up her hood. "Never hurts to be safe." she said, walking closer to him. "This might hurt a bit...but at least it'll close the wound." she said, taking out a small bottle of a purple liquid. She poured it into her hand, and then it floated above it in a ball. She held it to his open flesh, and the liquid completely covered it, and it glowed a dark aura. She lowered her hand, and then the skin started to slowly stretch over the wound.

She looked outside and it was sunny outside. "Sun...yay." she said, standing outside and taking it all in. Her hair seemed to have become a more red, her maroon eyes glittered, and her skin brightened.

"I smell like flowers? Umm....thanks. I should...my whole room was filled with dead ones...they still have a great smell to them. And your welcome." she said, stepping back as the wound was now closed and looked as if nothing was there.

Minor nodded and said, "The sun is source of everything...I love it. Nothing is better than warmth. She then fluttered out her crimson red wings and streched. "I hope there's something to do. The sun is going down." she pointed out. It was in a 4:00 position in the reddening sky.

Minori caught up to Aaron and said, "I'm going to head over to the beach. What time is it?" she asked, looking around, trying to remember what direction the beach was.

Aaron looked at his watch, "4:13," he said as he pulle his sleeve over it. "... I don't think its such a good time ot go to the beach," he said. "But if you're going I might as well go to since there's nothing else to do here." and he just spread his wings and prepeared for flight.

"'Kay." Minori said, and remembered which way the beach was. She spread her red wings and took flight, and quickly landing on the sandy beach floor. She took in a deep breath of sea-breezed air and smiled. "Smells great. Even though I dont swim..." she said, laying down in the sand under a palm tree.

Aaron arrived along to the beach with Minori, "... Well, thats to bad," he said as he landed, his wings going inside his back, leaving nothing to show they were ever there, other than the scars. He took of his shirt to reviel the two long scars in the shape of a capital V. "But I'm going in." he said as he set down his backpack and clothing he didn't need for swiming. He left in a full on sprint and once he reache dthe water he slowed down then just let himself fall into the water. He came back up taking in a deep breath. He turned to Minori and waved with a smile.

Minori smiled back and made a peace sign with her hands, then she ran her fingers through the warm sand. "I can't help but to think...no. I don't think so..." she rambled to herlself, watching the reddened clouds form into a masterpiece in the sky overhead. She then sat up and brought her knees into her chest, her usual sitting position. She watched in the horizon the sun fall down, and she sighed. "What a day...what a day..."

In the water, Aaron also looked to the setting sun, then back at Minori, "What am I supposed to do now?" he asked himself. "Where am I supposed to go?" he just finally started asking himself questions for no reason as he floated in the water, arms out stretched, it made his body look like a cross. "What... What?" he repeated to himself.

"Nevermind" Rex said as he sighed. "I'm going back to the cave. See you around" Rex said as he started to walk away from her. he stopped. "Thanks again" Rex said with out turning around. "Maybe all rich people arn't so bad" Rex said as he contuned to walk away.
